❆xтhe shallows of the lake slowly began to rise. Charles noticed this and flicked his ears, droplets of water bouncing off his thick coat. Lei-Li still splashed in the water, her bushy black tail fluffed even more; attempting to keep herself dry. That was useless when the little wolf was playing in the water. Numerous times, Charles had been gazing at the areas where the humans and the other creatures interacted. There was much more activity around the lake right now then he had liked. Usually, anyone would stay away from the lake when it rained. There was the possibilities of flooding and all. Charles licked his nose, his large wolf form could easily be missed if someone were to scan the area. His dark and light colours blended nicely with the back round shadows and lights.

"Hey!" Charles warned Lei-Li. She was getting too far out than he had liked. A deep growl formed in his throat. Lei-Li jerked her head out from under the water and splashed right back to him. He stopped growling and his ears went back up. He licked his much wet nose again. "Arf!" Lei-Li shook her pelt and sat down, her tail still wagging. She had to be half dog. There was no way that a regular wolf demon could be this out going. Charles sniffed and looked up. The rain began to lessen.

Though, there were still clouds, Charles debated whether or not he wanted to go back into his human form. It was easy enough to shift, but harder to dry in that form when it rained. Thick coats were great for keeping out the cold and rain, but it was a large pain when it was humid and hot. Especially after strong rain storms. The Wolf God sneezed and saw Lei-Li curled up right near him, already asleep and oblivious to anything in the forest. He huffed; he felt like a mother when it came to this pup. Before long, he'll be joining the motherly group and teaching others about parenting. It was his own decision to help her grow, though he didn't think it'd be this tiring. Charles rolled over and sat upright, his head lowered. There was that funky hybrid girl going around. He had seen her go to where the other two (the ones he saw earlier) were sheltering from the rain, and had gone away. She was strange. His sharp ears and keen nose picked up what he couldn't see.

Lots of activity for a rainy day. He began to feel the slow feeling of heat sweep up his body. The coat was keeping too much body heat in himself. His tongue came out and he panted, attempting to try and release that heat. Sometimes it was harder to be a wolf, than it was human. Humans always complain about the little things. Try being an animal that's always being hunted for once, or couldn't choose different types of coats for when it got hot or cold. A deep rumbling sound came from his throat; a chuckle. He had the choice of changing into a human, but his fellow wolf brothers and sisters did not.

Grabbing Lei-Li by the scruff, Charles stood up and went back into the forest. He picked his way carefully, and tried to keep his teeth from tearing at the wolf pup's coat. She had thick fur, too, so that was a plus on her part. Very soon, he felt her begin to move as her nap ended. He let her down and kept watch while she played on low hanging tree branches with a couple of squirrels.

LeeLa watched them. Observing from a distance it wasn't long before the girl fainted. She huffed at her. Human's were weird. Her large ears were straided toward the pair. But her main foccus was that man. Mages were strange to. Though she knew better than to get to close to him. Maybe he was the one to bring up that Zombie. If so his arts were dark and that girl was...Doomed. But maybe that other girl would find them and save her. She certainly wasn't about to go out of her way just to save a human. Forget that. She she stared for one last time and padded her fluffy self right along. Leaving them silently as she re-entered the thick brush of the forest. Well off any path a human could take. She slipped back into her cloak and moved along with her glasses well balanced upon her narrow snout.

She bounced across a few rocks and began following after some pretty interesting scents. Why not? the thought of danger never crossed her mind. Then as she moved along she turned back into her more human like form. Her ears and tail always remained. Goofy, clumsy LeeLa. She skipped and lept about till finally she tripped over a log right behind the wolf guy and his pup. "Owww." Came her soft voice. She moved to a sitting possition and examined her scrapped up knees and palms. She was pretty dirty now. Leaves and weeds tangled up in her red and white hair. Dirt smuged all over her flesh. She was down right a mess. Her large ears fell down to the sides of her head and her bushy tail tucked in close to her. she hurt. Her eyes even began to water up.

❆xтhe large wolf picked his ears up again. There were noises close by. His nose was back up in the air, and he smelt a strange cross of a creature. Was it that strange fox like girl? Most likely. His golden eyes looked at the little black wolf slowly creeping on a low branch after a squirrel. The sudden concern of the little one took his attention and he forgot about checking the areas. His eyes stayed on the little wolf. Lei-Li moved the branch a little as she got to the narrower end of the branch. Charles huffed, giving her warning glances. She did not look, nor listen. The squirrel stopped and turned around. Lei-Li wagged her tail and pounced, and that's when a newcomer came into that area.

Upon the new sounds and smell, Charles spun around from attempting to catch Lei-Li. His golden eyes met a humanoid figure. Immediately, he saw the tail and ears. Charles blinked, and his fur flattened down. She didn't seem harmless, and as he looked closer, it seemed like she was about to cry. A rumble came from his throat, and he looked at the girl, then at Lei-Li, who was rubbing her nose on a pile of leaves on the floor. She began to whimper. Oh, jeez. Charles turned around and picked up Lei-Li carefully in his jaws, and then placed the little black wolf in front of the crying creature. Both seemed to be hurt. He licked Lei-Li's fur the opposite way and sniffed in her face. Lei-Li took a second, but she seemed to forget about the pain for the time being and went back on all fours, wagging her tail earnestly and then finally noticing the new creature.

Lei-Li stuck out her pink tongue in front of the newcomer with excitement. She felt that the fox like humanoid creature seemed to be hurt somewhere and nudged her gently with her own nose. Charles sat down and looked at the injured creature in front of him. It would be hard to communicate to this person in his current form, and plus, the rain wasn't as bad as before. Lowering his head, Charles let the change take over him. It was quick, and not that flashy. Only a white and blue light enveloped his being, and very soon, a relatively good-looking man was sitting in the giant wolf's place. Blue hair spilled over his shoulders, and he wore casual clothes. His eyes, though in human form at the moment, were still the same as when he was in his wolf form.

"Hey, there's no need for tears," He told her straight out, and then smiled. He smelt the air and looked at the bushes near by. Bundle of herbs lay around them, and he stood up and grabbed a bunch. Sniffing their scents carefully, he sat in front of the girl again and leaned forward, carefully crushing and flattening the leaves and flowers. With his free hand, he grabbed each of the girl's hand and put them on the scratches. The leaves and stuff were already wet, so they stuck relatively well. He put another handful on the scratches on her knees. With the left overs, he placed it on Lei-Li's shoulder and muzzle. Confused and surprise, she shook it off and Charles chuckled. He turned his attention back to the hybrid like creature. "Better, yeah? What do you think, Lei-Li?" He looked at his little companion.. At the question, she perked up her ears and barked enthusiastically

"I'm Charles, by the way. This is Lei-Li. You are?" The little wolf pup wagged her tail and shook her fur. Charles kept his golden eyes patiently on the newcomer.

LeeLa fluttered her eyes to fight away the tears that blured her vision. The figures were interesting enough but there was no threat coming from them. Even if that were so she wouldn't have tucked tail and ran. Nope instead they aproached her. Matter of fact sat right down infront of her. Her hands moved taking off her silly glasses and rubbed her eyes. she stared at them for a long moment. Her red eyes finding the pair of them quite interesting. She looked to the man who had taken place of the very large wolf. She dipped her head down just a little. She was smaller than him in both forms. But more than him she was facinated by the pup. Her tail moved, ungluing itself from between her legs and bounced up and down. It was rather fluffy. Matter of fact it could probobly hide the pup from view.

The man returned and put some stuff on her palms and knees. She sniffed at it then closed her eyes and sneezed. Her head shook causing he rlarge ears to flap. then she stuck out her tounge in distaste. The small bark startled her backwards resulting in her laying on her back. she blinked a few times then rolled over and bounced up to her feet. Yes she was significantly smaller than a mortal man. Appearing closer to the height of a young teen than a woman. Corse other aspects of her suggested otherwise.

Her head nodded to the side and her large ears perked up to his voice and the introductions. She smiled when he said Lei-Li. "LeeLa..." She pointed her herself. "I am LeeLa... Forest Fox." She giggled at it. Her personality taking the turn of a playful pup. Though as always there is always more to a fox than what appears. Course she appeared pretty harmless. She then squated down placing her hands carefully on her knees. Her bushy tail flicked around infront of her. "Pleasure to be meeting you." She giggled again. She wiggled her dainty figers to the pup. Desireing to play but knowing her size was a bit to large currently. Maybe she could change again. Then she could play! So she went though the transformation. Her size shrinking. Till at last she was finished. She still looked a bit goofy with her large ears and bushy tail. She lowered her front half and stuck her butt in the air. A universal sigh for play with me. And waited patiently for the games of tag to begin.

❆xтhe Wolf God watched the girl carefully, but still had a relaxed composure. When she introduced herself, he couldn't help but chuckle. Her name sounded very close to his own little companions. Lei-Li must have understood the vowel similarities and barked cheerfully at the newcomer. She was a forest fox... that made a lot more sense.

"Pleasure to meet you, as well, Miss Leela." Charles placed his elbows on his legs and relaxed his back. He was much too stiff now-a-days. Attempting to be a parent to Lei-Li has been hard work, and it's been very tiring, and other times, just plain stressful. Lei-Li watched Leela wiggle her fingers in front of her and Lei-Li dropped to a crouch, her tail wagging like crazy,

"Ruff!" Lei-Li was about to try and 'tackle' the other, but Leela went through a sort of transformation and was a lot smaller. Smaller to play with Lei-Li. The Wolf Demon barked again, using her paw to bat at Leela. Currently, Lei-Li didn't have that sharp of claws, and really, it just felt like soft cotton balls were hitting a person. Lei-Li had gone back up to all fours, but dropped down again when seeing Leela go down to a pouncing crouch, as well.

Charles watched from where he was. This was sort of awkward for him, but he didn't say or show anything. In fact, he found it more amusing than awkward at the moment. "Be careful." He said from his sitting position. His golden eyes carefully examined the area, often going from the two to the surroundings.

Lei-Li flicked her ears, acknowledging the warning and pouncing to Leela. Her paws bat the other and she jumped back, wagging her tail and rump. Her tongue stuck out, and obviously, she didn't know what they were playing. The little wolf cub waited to see what Leela had in mind.

OOC: Bleh, sorry, I didn't know that I'd be away for a whole day. >3<

Leela cocked her head at the little pup parked at her. The man just held back and watched them. She stared at him with her ruby red eyes. Her fluffy tail swished above her. He wasn't much fun. She she proceded to get swatted by the pup. It didn't hurt. Thankfully.

Leela let out her chattery yips just playing. She stood, taller than the pup. Even in this form she was bigger. She swished her tail then lept over her at Charles. Pouncing into his lap. Her head tilted up just a little before yipping at Lei-Li to attack him. There was a devious glint in her ruby colored orbs. Leela was all about having fun. Danger rarely concerned her because when faced with it she would deal. And it wasn't like she would leave a poor little pup in danger as she took off. to save her own hide.

She blinked her eyes rapidly. It seemed as though the man had disappeared. She slowly stood up, lightheaded from her fainting spell, and began to tread through the forest once more. Though the zombie and the man were terrifying, her curiosity wouldn't wane. She had a small taste for adventure, something she was always afraid of before, but now.. Now she desired to explore. "Besides, this forest.. Something about it.." She thought to herself as she walked further into the trees.

He sat rather still upon an overturned tree limb with his tail swaying back and forth. His ears were flattened against his head as he stared at a small butterfly on a nearby tree. The mistake he would make would be, well, jumping for it. A very loud thud almost seemed to echo throughout the area he was in. Along with a couple of sniffles. It wasn't from the pain, more so it was because the butterfly had gotten away. He lightly sniffed the air and caught all sorts of different scents. Actually there were too many for the small kit to count. Instead he focused on a single one and well ran towards it. He almost skidded to a stop though and ducked behind a tree. In front of him a young human girl was there. He was curious to say the least, but also a bit nervous. Humans normally didn't wander around by themselves.

"What are you doing here?" He asked before covering his mouth and hiding behind the tree.

At seeing the strange animal-human, she let out a high-pitched pip. "Oh my.." she said quietly, about to inquire about his existence. Unfortunately he had hid behind a tree before she could say anything further. She tilted her head to the side, then slowly crept to the tree herself. She didn't want to frighten the strange creature-boy.

His ears had once again flattened against the top of his head. Maybe the girl had gotten scared away. She did make a loud noise of some kind. After a moment he peered back from around and saw that she had instead came closer to where he was. Again he ducked a bit more behind the tree. Even going as far as climbing up to a low hanging branch where he felt safe.

"W-What are you doing here?" He asked once again still nervous. He had never been around a human before so he was unsure of what to actually do.
