This is the story behind the war of Valinder and Tusaine. Long ago in the time of dragons and enchanted forests, there were two neighboring countries. Valinder held the beauty and gothic architecture that left most nations and kingsmen jealous and hostile, but not Tusaine. Tusaine was known for their military skills and had always been one of the most powerful nations ever known through out the land and seas. Always the two kingdoms had gotten along and their lives had always consisted on neighboring jousts and carnivals since the travel was only a good two hours.
The king of Valinder was named Alexander Halifax and he was a beautifully handsome man, despite his age. All his life he'd been a man of many women, and despite his marriage to the queen Arrabella, he had dozens of children through his many affairs. None of which held any power in his political affairs. Most of their mothers became nobel women, or were sent off with bundles of money to spend till their hearts content. Despite the many b*****d children, he had quite a few in his marraige to the queen. The eldest daughter was twenty-four, her name Pixie. The next two were his twin daughters who were aged twenty-two years, Meridith and Dierdre. He then had a son, Alexander the Second, who was nineteen. Then a third daughter, Fiona who was eighteen. The next three were triplets, all sixteen years of age; Evelyn, Bryce, and Lorne. That was the end for a while, before the last daughter named Petra was born four years prior to the beginning of this tale.
The king of Tusaine was a mighty man, having no physcial attraction to him, but yet a very charismatic attitude. His name was Weylin Roderick. His wife was a gorgeous woman, known throughout the lands for her everlasting beauty despite her aging years. Her name was none other than Caoimhe meaning beautiful. Their oldest son was twenty-seven and his name Tristan. The second son, bearing the name Connor, was twenty-two. The next two were twins, Gavin and Camryn, both seventeen. The next was a beautiful daughter, but she was blind at the age of seven, her name was Cordelia, and was fifteen. The final child was a son aged a meer seven years with the name of Keir.
It was told that these children mingled with one another in friendships and childhood infatuations. But then there was a startling factor that changed their lives forever. One eve, the princess Pixie had been walking through the Black Forest and had been captured by none other than Tristan and Conner. They tried to make her 'lay' with them, but being engaged to another man she refused. So they both raped her, then murdered her body gruesomely, leaving the remains in the courtyard of the Valinder gates. King Halifax was furious and demanded the boys be sent to him and executed, which King Roderick would here nothing of. This started the heated battle between the two nations that hasn't subsided since.
Being that it is now only a year into the battle, the villagers of both kingdoms can still go from place to place sometimes unharmed. And the common ground between the land is very well indeed. Both Valider and Tusaine have a group of military leaders, most hidden within their powers.
The leader of the Valinder army is unknown, but.. the second in command was one of Halifax's b*****d daughters, Gabriella Theodoric.
