++++++++++ Lily was in the process of spitting out the foul blood that was making her want to gag. She then watched as Luciana was thrown off and hit the ground. She wanted to run to her, but knew that she wouldn't be able to. She continued her useless assault on the demons legs. This couldn't be the end, they had barely just begun! She had to duck to avoid the swipe from the demon, feeling his claws rake over the top of her ears. Hearing Luciana tell her to push as hard as she could, she moved backwards, preparing to get a running start. As Luciana made her attack, Lily rushed forward, jumping at the last minute and throwing all of her weight against the demon. The demon staggered backwards as a result of their attack, seemingly falling unconscious as he hit the ground with a loud crash. Scrambling to her own feet as the demon hit the ground.

++++++++++She knew they didn't have much time before he woke up from being knocked out, "Alright, we need to go!" she half shouted as she started to head down the hall before she remembered they needed the lantern. "Get the light!" she added as she waited, bouncing from one leg to the rest, the urge to run almost overpowering her common sense to wait for the light and stick together with her friend. They needed to find the way out. She could only hope that this passage they had went into wouldn't keep them long.

A conversation was started by Erik, where it just seemed to be an awkward question of small talk that she would answer and then there would be the silence between them again. However, that was not the case as he eventually continued speaking, asking if they could spend more time with her in the most idiotic fashion that she could not help but smile. In her eyes, instead of a deadly incubus he was beginning to look more like a fragile puppy seeking attention and love after it had been abandoned, but she was still cautious in case this was just an act of his to get her to weaken her defenses. Though, thinking about it, keeping her defenses up seemed almost idiotic, there would be no way he would do anything to her, because if he did, everyone would instantly go after him to kill him for his wrong doings, he would probably be endangering his siblings too.

That thought put her a little bit more at ease, though it was sad that it was not Erik's attempts at befriending her that were relaxing her but more of the repercussions of stupid actions discouraging him from making them. Now that she had completely derailed her thoughts from the original question, she focused her attention back on him, the little smile on her face was gone again. "Did you have something in mind?" She asked him, not really clarifying if it was a yes or no yet, it could go either way as the only thing she had planned was to see her siblings to see if they survived the first day alright, other than that her schedule was free. She remembered that Logan had a surprise for her, one that she has yet to see and probably won't happen tonight as planned if she was not yet called for it. Maybe that would be something to happen tomorrow.

"I don't get it..."

-[Erik blinked and was unsure of how to answer that as he had not thought that far ahead into his plan. Indeed, he was just winging this whole conversation, but then, in his mind, the image of a flower popped up and he remembered the garden outside. "Well, I mean, we could just... hang out outside at the garden or something... It's kind of a nice place... I was only out there for a couple minutes earlier today, so... Y'know..." He looked down and started to grow red again.

He felt as though he was completely embarrassing himself. He had put her in such a position of power over him that Erik was starting to feel inferior - not only that but he was almost believing it. Not that he normally felt superior but he always tried to see himself as equal to others; to him, everyone was equal, even people who were not demons. After all, all species are equally capable of greed and a lust for power, as evident by the war; why not also equally capable of compassion and simply tolerating each other? But his viewpoints were always made fun of, so they were always kept to himself. Eventually they faded into the back of his mind and, rather than trying to actively work against the war, he fell into a state of complacency and just not caring anymore. Eventually the younger generation would take over; chances are, they would actually see the flaws in everything that had been going on for so long, and hopefully all this madness would finally come to an end.}

Stumbling off the unconscious demon now lying on the floor, a sense of accomplishment and pride running through her as she smirked confidently at the thing that no longer looked so threatening. The excited female could not wait to tell her siblings of the teamwork her and Lily did to defeat a demon, even if it was just temporarily unconscious. Now they will just have to give her more credit, and stop looking down on her just because of her age, everyone would! Even Leonard may begin to think highly of her if she ever gets the chance to tell him the story! There was no time to waste day dreaming, the thing could wake up at any time. Doing as Lily said, she ran back to grab the lantern, swiftly picking it up in her hand before turning back and jolting towards Lily with the same amount of energy as her. The adrenaline will keep her going for a while, but when it ran out she would be doomed. Though that was the last thing on her mind, what was important was getting out of there, or at least away from that demon where it hopefully will not find them again.
They were running for a decent time, Luciana never once took the chance to look back, but felt as though they were far enough away from the demon they had no more reason to worry, at least about him, for now. The air got noticeably colder as the walls expanded, making what appeared to be a decent sized room, which appeared to be empty except for a few pillars that stuck up from the ground into the ceiling. Hopefully it was safe enough to relax here for a moment, she looked over at Lily who's side she never left for a second, feeling the accomplishment coming back to her.as she quietly panted.

The raven haired boy seemed unable to control the redness that kept taking over his cheeks as he continued to nervously speak to her, inviting her to hang out with him at the garden, it was almost like he was trying to ask her out on a romantic date. Since they were meant to be wed, and this male was so desperate for acceptance, she could not put it past him that it was some sort of date rather than two people just hanging out. "Alright." She answered, no matter what it was to him, it would never be a date to her. "But, you will have to think of more conversations to talk about." She told him, that in a way was her clarifying that nothing but talking was going to happen.

Thinking about it, she had not yet seen the garden herself, and wondered if there were any tables out there to sit at. It was a relaxing thought to imagine nibbling on some sweets with lemonade surrounded by the beautiful sight of flowers. The idea made her want to invite her siblings, but this was Erik's idea so she was not going to invite other people she could use to ignore him with, she was actually attempting to befriend him. "Did you see any tables out there? We could have some sweets with a drink or something." She offered her idea, though hoped he would not get the wrong idea himself about why she was offering that. It was not ever going to be a date.

"I don't get it..."

-[The more she talked, the wider his smile grew until it finally became one huge grin of happiness. He nodded quickly. "Yeah! I like sweets!" More and more, he realized just how much of a fool he was making of himself, and yet still he did not care. "Uhh... I saw some tables. They looked cool. Like made out of stone and stuff." He nodded, then glanced at the window above her bed.

He remembered earlier that he saw Luciana and the rest of his family through that window, and he looked back down at her. "Actually, you could totally see the garden from that," he said and removed one arm from his pillow to point at the window, then immediately replaced it back to its original position. He then had the image of actually going outside to spend time with her tonight; he imagined that it was pretty out there in the dark, but since she was already in her nightgown, that option was out the window. "Too bad we're sleeping; it probably looks nice out there," he said, only halfway hinting at his idea, but still perfectly fine if it was rejected.}

The young angel stepped in his bedroom for the second time that day. Although with the changes Luciana had made to her side of the room, it felt as if he was seeing the room for the first time. After closing the door quietly behind him, Leonard stretched and began to unpack his bags. For a good while, his mind was blank but gradually upset Amorette and Olivia invaded his thoughts. He tried not to distress too much over his sisters but they kept firm ground in his mind. With a nudging guilt, he decided to melt away his troubles with a warm bath.

Preparing the bathtub, he allowed himself a bit of indulgence by making use of the available rich aromas and thick bubbles, he stripped off his clothes and dipped himself in the bathtub, careful not to spill any water on the bathroom floor. His skin would smell of rose and honey later but he didn’t mind so much. Angels were meant to smell heavenly, were they not? Leo closed his eyes and dipped the lower half of his face in the water, blowing bubbles underneath. Amorette liked it when he did that when they took afternoon swims in the springs around the Valentine main house. He sat up and sighed.

After a while, he drained the water and dried himself with a towel he found at hand’s reach. Successively he wrapped the towel around his thin body and walked out of the bathroom, holding his dirty clothes under his arm. He dumped his dirty laundry in the hamper and rummaged through his clothes. He smiled when he found one of his favorite pajamas and almost instantly, he put it on. It was a full body green lizard suit. People might have thought it was very unlike him to own anything so childish, but it had already become part of his daily life. He mostly always slept in a Kigurumi suit. In fact, he owned many. The first one was given to him by Liam as somewhat of a joke, but seeing Leonard’s genuine delight, proceeded to get him more and more Kigurumi suits. After all, Leonard loved cute animals and this was one of the ways he manifested it.

He cuddled up under the covers and yawned. He was so tired… Usually, he read before falling asleep… But today… Had been so exhausting… Leo looked at the door. He imagined Luciana entering and seeing him in his pajamas. Right now, he didn’t put much effort in coming up with a defense… And he wasn’t going to take the suit off for anybody. She’d probably think him silly… Very silly indeed… And with that, he fell asleep.

She didn't know how or when but somehow Amia had been put, had walked?, to bed. She woke up feeling disoriented. the curtains were shut tight, blocking any form of light from coming in and stopping her from knowing what time it was. She moved the huge pile of covers down and sat up carefully. She felt like she had a hangover, but when had she had any alcohol? She groaned and thumped back down onto the bed. Then a thought occurred to her, she sat back up and looked around the room. Where was her supposed Fiance and why hadn't she been able to find him?

++++++++++Lily kept pace with Luciana, not wanting to get separated as they ran. She panted softly as they finally came to a stop. It seemed like they had been running for a while now. At least now they should be far enough away that the demon shouldn't bother them anymore. She looked around the room, empty except for the cobwebs in the corners. With a small sigh she looked at Luciana. "Are you okay?" she asked as she leaned against one of the pillars. Adrenaline continued to run through her veins, her ears perked up as she listened for anything that could mean trouble. Unconciously she placed a hand on her shoulder to try to rub away the tension that was gathered in that spot. She was unaware of the fact it was bleeding until she touched it. "Urgh!" she managed to get out before she calmed herself down, surely it wasn't all that bad.

++++++++++Ignoring her shoulder for now, she glanced up at Luciana, wondering if she was really okay, the hit she took to the ground had looked painful. "Sha'll we rest longer or head out?" she asked softly, not wanting to leave this safe spot, but wanting to escape from this hell hole they were in. She only hoped that the demon they had faced would be the only thing that meant them harm in this place.

Olivia could tell that he was being honest as he said that he would never intentionally hurt her. There had been plenty of chances for that so far. She knew that her brothers were concerned for her when they had said and done those things earlier. She would have protected Leonard, she would have stopped the whole situation if she hadn't frozen the way she had. She felt like she had failed them all by not saying something by not reacting quicker and... it hurt.

It had hurt to leave Liam that way.

She was quiet through most of his talking, it wasn't that she didn't want to answer but... the air felt so fragile at the moment. Their families were so different and there was no way that she could really talk about hers and not worry about the comparison to his own. It was obvious that his life had been quite rough. Hearing that the gag was so that he wouldn't wake people with his crying at night tore at her heart. She can feel herself getting emotional for this man hearing him say that he's gotten used to the uncomfortable feeling.

Not sure what else to say or do in the situation... Olivia moved from her spot against the wall and crossed the space between them. She was sure that he watched her with every step, her walk was calm and serene, she extended her hand to gently take his much larger one in hers.

She gave it a tiny squeeze trying to give him some sense of strength.

"Get some rest..." She said gently. There was nothing else that she really could say was there? Not that she was aware of...

The weakened female reached her right hand over to her left arm, proceeded to gently massage it as it had taken the most damage over anything else. It had been used to protect her head so it had gotten most of the impact, though her hip boned ached pretty noticeably too. Anything being broken in her body instantly made Luciana fearful again, but she would not allow her fear to over power her, she needed to be strong. It was silent other than Luciana's small whimpers and the panting coming from Lily, she had asked if she was okay. "You're the one bleeding..." Luciana said, weakly moving her aching left arm to raise the lantern, inspecting the injury in her shoulder closely. That damned demon had sunk it's sharp claws into her skin, making a punctured mark, but that was all she could really tell by it, the true extent of damage he had done could not be seen by examining it in the small amount of light.
Lily asked about resting, and Luciana looked at the dimmed lantern, it was as low as it could go yet it would still not last much longer, and they had no idea how much longer it would take them to get out, or how long it'd take for something to find them. Resting wasn't an option. "We have to keep moving, the sooner we're out of here, the sooner we can rest." Luciana used motivating words not only on Lily, but on herself. Her mind teased her with the image of calmly resting in bed, snuggled up under warm blankets in cozy pajamas versus this dirtied dress she allowed herself to adventure in. Foolish she didn't change first. Sleeping alone was a wonderful thought, even if Leonard was there to yell at her, or laugh at her, whatever it was, it would be better than this creepy basement filled with demons and death. And spiders. Pushing herself forward she began to lead the way, preventing her mind from thinking about anything that would scare her. Luciana had noticed if she did not think about it, she would not feel the fear, only when she thinks a creature of the shadows will grab her did she fear the darkness. Her mind was focused on sleep, on food, on flowers, on her siblings, anything that could motivate her to getting out of this alive. Her prime focus was protecting Lily, and that gave her courage. The fact they conquered the last strong demon together gave her courage to move on.

Acheron Diablo

Acheron looks at her as she walks towards him. As she takes his hand in her own hands; he wonders what she is doing. 'Get some rest.' He looks at her curiously, but he isn't going to fight it or argue about it. He is tired. How long has it been since he last slept? One, Two, Three days? He can't even remember anymore as the days fall into each other. He lets out a yawn and squeezes her hand lightly."I think I will..." He lets go of her hands and picks up the gag. He is about to put it in place and he looks at Olivia."Night Olivia." He looks down and puts the gag in place. He moves under the covers and faces towards the wall and the door.

He sends a silent prayer to the moon and closes his eyes. Hopefully things will get better. Someday, he might not have to worry about hurting others. After a few minutes his breathing evens out and he drifts off into sleep. His body is relaxed and he doesn't start to dream yet....

++++++++++Lily nodded as Luciana mentioned that she was okay. "I don't think it's to bad" she added in reference to the wound on her shoulder. She tore off another portion of her dress since it was headed to the garbage anyways and held it over the puncture wounds on her shoulder. Wasn't to bad, but it hurt regardless. She nodded when Luciana said they should continue, considering the lamp was the only light she decided that was indeed wise. She pushed herself off the pillar and had to jog a little to catch up with Luciana. Once beside her she slowed and peered ahead into the darkness. Her ears remained alert, twitching to every little sound. It wasn't long before they came to another room, this one twice the size as the first one. She glanced around, shuddering slightly at the huge amount of spider webs and cobwebs that lined the room. Her ears twitched and she followed the rustling sound. She half expected to see another demon, although what she saw wasn't any better.

++++++++++The spider was twice the size of the little neko and she could see the light from the lantern reflecting in every single eye. She shuddered as she watched it watching them. "Lu..Luc..Luciana!! R..r...ru..rrruunn" she managed to stutter out as she grabbed onto Luciana's arm and attempted to push her forward. They needed to leave and not get caught in any of the webs if they wanted to survive. She pushed harder as the spider finally started to move, towards them. Although it was going slow, it's legs made it appear to be going faster and it was covering the distance entirely to fast for comfort.

Already they were faced with another force they had to fight, or flee from. In this situation, fighting was not an option, as there was a large spider twice the size of the two small females perched on a web. It began to move towards them as the stuttering friend of Luciana was trying to get her to run, though fear was freezing her in place momentarily. It was hard not to stare at the fast moving legs of the ugly beast as it moved towards them. Releasing a loud uncontrollable scream, Luciana gripped Lily's wrist with her free arm and instantly jolted away, only to find her klutzy self running directly into a sticky spider web. Her body bounced back a bit as it was surprised, but she kept a tight grip on the lantern so she did not drop it, and began trying to struggle against the sticky webs as frantically as she could. Looking behind her, the large spider was making it's way towards them, getting closer with each quick step it took. The fearfully squeaking demon began ripping the web off of her, but then it would stick to her on her hand she used to pull it off.
Eventually she was just forcefully pulling herself back away from the web, that was having much more success. Though in finally breaking free of the web parts of her dress got ripped. There was no time to be concerned about her clothing though, even if it was one of her favorite dresses, as a large spider was going to devour them if she spent another second sitting there. But now, they had to carefully maneuver through the webs without touching them to get to the exit, while the spider had free will to touch the webs as much as it pleased, it felt like some terrible maze game. The whimpering Luciana quickly started to try and find a way through the maze of webs, hoping not to get stuck in a dead end.
