When Una left Ares to his own devices, she had no set location in mind. How could she when she literally did not know where she in the castle she was. Actually, she wouldn’t be surprised if there was like seven higher levels and she had somehow missed the stairs. The palace certainly looked big enough for more. What they would do with all those useless floors was beyond her; two levels seemed to work just fine. But, one place at a time. Una aimlessly walked down a flight of stairs, twisting her lips together when she heard voices. She looked about her as she made into the ground, but saw no one around her besides a few servants. The other couples must have arrived and already they sounded friendly with each other. Una bit her lip and fidgeted slightly, bringing her hand to her mouth as she wondered if she should go say something to them. In the end, she decided against the idea and walked on. They probably did not wish to bother, especially not by her.

Una walked around without any set goal, passing by the largest doors and windows she had ever seen and even a library. At that by itself was very impressive, the bookcases scaling so high, the stairs that had installed were indeed necessary. Anyone else would probably be impressed, but Una’s eyes were drawn somewhere else instead. To the kitchen, actually. For the first time since she got here, a real, wide smile spread across her face as she skipped into the curtained off room.

As soon as she saw food, Una’s stomach growled loudly and the girl wrapped her arms around it with a light blush. She hadn’t eaten since this morning when her brother had handed her some bread. She made a face when her stomach growled again and reached for the first thing laid out on the table. Apples. Oh, she loved her some apples very much. She grabbed three of them greedily, using the bottom of her skirt to hold them like a little bag. They were the cleanest bright red apples she had ever seen; not a worm hole anywhere. Happily, she sunk her teeth into the fruit and hummed in approval at the rich taste. Wow, they must have such a healthy garden to have these kinds of fruits. Where all their food like this.

Suddenly, Una was just a bit happier to be here. At least the food tasted good.
Una walked out of the kitchen unnoticed (she really didn’t know if she was allowed to take the apples) and clutched her skirt tightly to much sure the apples did not fall out. Eventually, Una found herself another door leading to the outside and went out of it, figuring this would probably be the most entertaining place she could go to.

tab To be perfectly honest, Evette was surprised when they had walked by the two people on the stairs and Hayden didn't stop to talk to the beauty on the stairs. He really didn't react very much at all, not from what she could tell. Maybe she was overreacting a bit all because of the gift he was given. Guys had some self control apparently. But still...it was surprising. The only thing that she considered any type of reaction was when he gently squeezed her hand, and she wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. It had to be. Was he trying to make her feel better or something...? She wanted to ask, but was a little afraid to make a total idiot of herself. She was already feeling a little stupid thinking that he was trying to make her feel better...mainly cause it had worked even if he didn't mean to make that happen. She shook the thought from her mind before they reached the room, choosing not to think about all of that. She wasn't going to let herself fall for someone this quickly. Especially someone that had urges to run around with other women. Evette wasn't the jealous type, but she was a bit sensitive to things like this. When she gets attached to someone, she gives and does everything just to make them happy. Because of that she had been used by many people for their own selfish needs. It would be impossible to say that she has trust issues, she cares about people to much not to trust them...even if she got hurt in the process. She puts everyone before herself on purpose. Her happiness didn't matter, at least not in her opinion. But despite all of that, she still hurt like every other person when she finds out that she had been lied to, or used by someone that she trusted. She won't say anything though, she'll just smile and accept their half hearted apology. It was horrible, but she didn't know any better. Standing up for herself was something she really didn't do. She was pulled from her thoughts as he heard Hayden speak, saying he could use some help unpacking. She quietly nodded as she walked over towards him.

tab Sitting on the edge of the bed, she looked at the clothes in the one suitcase he had put on the bed. How were they going to do this? Eve didn't have very many clothes at all, coming to the castle with one suit case. She often made her own clothes, which is why she didn't bring many with her. Not to mention she didn't have many clothes to begin with. You didn't exactly get paid much working at an orphanage, not to mention that she never really accepted the money, saying that the money should stay with the orphanage since she was living there anyway. She never thought of it as a job, she just thought of it as taking care of her family. "So much stuff..." She said with a small laugh as she started taking some of the clothes from the suit case, setting them down on the bed in different piles. What would go in the dresser, what would get hung up. It was easy to sort through, this was what she did most of the time back home. So much laundry, just to keep the kids in clean clothes. "Do you have anything...um...family wise you want to put up...?" It was a touchy subject at home to talk about families, so she wasn't sure how to ask a question like that. Only reason she asked was because she already had a few drawings from a few of the kids back home hanging on the walls. She put them up without really thinking, in a hurry to unpack her own things after she had arrived. She forgot that she was going to be sharing a room with someone...After refolding a few of the clothes and putting them in the dresser neatly, she moved to the clothes that would be put in the closet. "I...can take those pictures down if you want...I put them up without think about how the person I would share a room with would feel..." There she goes again. Even though she wanted to keep the pictures up, she was willing to do something to keep another person happy. Never doing anything for herself, just to make herself happy. Always worrying about others. "I'm kinda glad you're letting me help with this, it's never fun unpacking alone. And we get to talk, which is surprisingly...fun..." She said with a small giggle as she playfully bumped her hip against his as she walked by him and towards the closet with a few shirts hung over her arm. She wasn't lying, it was pretty fun talking to him so far...even if she was still a little shy....

Hayden. Michael. Smith

Lust is what keeps you wanting to do it even when you have no desire to be with each other.

User ImageHayden smiled, glad that she was helping him. He had forgotten he had brought so much with him. After he had finished unpacking some of the clothes and putting them away in his drawers and closet, he then put his suitcase away under the bed.

Hearing her ask about the family values, he closed his eyes, instantly flashing back to when his mother took him when they left his dad behind. Exhaling slowly, he then went over to one of the smaller suitcases and took out a small picture frame. His eyes scanned the photograph for a while before he looked at her.

"Just this one.."

he said with a small smile, putting it on top of his dresser. A small part of him remembered the promise he had made a long time ago, and how he said that he would never become the man that his father was, but he now realized that promise was long gone broken. Hayden then heard her talk about the pictures that she had hung up, sadly enough, he had not realized that they were even there. Looking around, he then smiled, seeing that they were clearly drawn by children.

"No..no, the pictures are fine. I don't mind at all"

When she bumped up against his hip, he smiled, then came up behind her.

"Oh trust me, there's other fun things besides talking"

he said with a smile and tickled her sides playfully. Hayden then went back to the bed and laid down, part of him wondered what was making him open up like this. He ran a hand through his hair, and looked up at the ceiling. Why was he acting like this? Was it because of her? Was she making him different? It all seemed so confusing. He was resisting the temptation of other girls, and there was something about her that made him..want to change.

tab She was a little glad when Hayden didn't seem all that upset as she asked about her asking about his family. It was a private thing after all, not to mention some people had family issues and didn't really like other people asking about their family. She didn't ask questions like that anymore, last time she did she had gotten yelled at for being rude. It was a misunderstanding, of course, the person she had been talking to had asked her first, if anything they were being the rude ones. They couldn't be blamed though because it was a young child, they're always curious. And besides, it's not like she had anything to hide from those kids. Now though? How would she feel if Hayden had asked her about her family? It's not like she would lie, she would tell him that her family was at the orphanage. But if he asked her about her parents? That was a total different story. Evette...knew nothing about her parents. Not their name, what they looked like, or how old they were. She just knew that her father was a French tourist in Japan and had a fling with a teenager there. He didn't even know that he had gotten the girl pregnant and left without a word. Her mother was only 17 when she had gotten pregnant, she could hardly take care of herself let alone a child. Eve was given up the moment she was born, her mother not even bothering to name her before she was taken away. You could say that Eve spent her childhood and teenage years in the orphanage, the longest time she spent with an adoptive family was a year. Why the sent her back, she had no idea. It's not like she was a bad kid or anything, so she didn't know why they didn't keep her. Shortest time she spent with a family was a few weeks, though it seemed like a few years. It was hell at that house, constant fighting. Eve left on her own that time, no way was she staying around all of that. Evette glanced at the picture after he set it down, a little curious to see who was in it. She wouldn't know anyone other than Hayden, but it was still worth a look.

tab Her attention went back to Hayden though, hearing him mention the drawings she had put on the wall. A warm smile gracing her lips as she looked over at the drawings. She was glad that he didn't mind that she had them up, they made her feel a little better about being in such an unknown place. Her loneliness would probably get worse if she had to take them down, so hopefully no one else would say anything. She already got a few looks from the servants when they saw her sticking them to the walls, she only hoped that they didn't tell her to take them down anytime soon. "Thank you..." She said quietly as she went back to what she was doing, which was putting away the last of his clothes as well as reorganizing the few things that were in the closet. She wasn't a very picky person, but she didn't like when things were out of place. It just bugged her. Everything had a place, and it should be in it's place. She was so focused on organizing things that she didn't even notice Hayden was behind her until he spoke. She was about to ask what he meant, but was stopped when he started tickling her sides. A squeak escaped her lips before she burst into laughter, trying to wiggle away from his hands, but was stopped thanks to the closet being in front of her. Luckily it didn't last long, and she was a little out of breath from laughing so hard. It was pretty obvious now how ticklish she was. She glanced back at Hayden, a small smile on her lips as she watched him fall onto the bed. He must be a bit tired, it was still pretty early, a lot of the people must have traveled through the night to get here. She wondered how far he lived from here, or if he had anyone back at home that he worried about. Was she going to ask? Nope. It wasn't any of her business. Still smiling, Eve walked over to the bed, sitting on the edge of the side he was laying on. A quiet laugh escaped her lips as she started playing with his hair "I feel kinda bad...you're a lot nicer than I expected you to be..." She said with a small sigh, the smile fading from her lips as looked out the window. She didn't know what to expect when it came to the one she was going to marry, she had just been worried that he would be someone extremely rude. "So, tell me something about yourself. Where are you from? What was your life like back home?" She asked as she looked back down at him, continuing to play with his hair.

Lust is what keeps you wanting to do it even when you have no desire to be with each other.

User ImageHayden took a deep breath in, then slowly exhaled. As Eve started to play with his hair, he closed his eyes. It was exactly what his mother used to do if he was sick or just was feeling down. He could feel his eyes watering, but held back his tears when he opened his eyes again.

'Stop worrying about her Hayden..it was in the past, and besides, that promise you made shouldn't mean anything anyways. Look what you've done in the past, now does that look like something that's worth promising?'

he thought to himself. Hayden then reached over and gave her the photo. It was a picture of his mother, father, and him.

"This...was my family.."

he started off, his voice a little shaky, but he cleared his throat and continued.

"I was raised in a good home, with loving parents..the usual story that everyone has. My mother stayed at home, and my father was a blacksmith. As time went on, my father started coming home later and later, eventually we found out that he was having an affair with another woman. Bet you can guess how I got my nickname then..just like a son to follow in the footsteps of his father...and a crummy one at that"

he said, Hayden then turned on his side, away from her.

"Funny thing is, I actually made a promise to my mother on her death bed that I wouldn't be anything like him. Too bad that's not how it is now"

he said softly. Hayden knew it wasn't right to treat her like this, ignoring her a little bit, but he just didn't feel like himself when he was being all nice and caring. He could see his mother now, wondering why he would make a promise if he couldn't keep it. Looking over his shoulder, he looked at her.

"It's not your fault Eve, I'm just like this..and I know it's not easy to get along with people who are completely lustful for other women...So, I'm sorry.."

tab Eve could tell that, even for him, the subject of family was a little tough. She understood that a little. Even she had trouble talking about it sometime, but their situations were different. While Eve never knew her parents, he obviously did. And she only knew that because he handed her the picture that was on his dresser, saying that it was his family. She didn't say anything though, keeping quiet as he spoke and told her about his life. His life was the usual story everyone had...? Not everyone. He was extremely lucky to at least have been raised in a nice home by his parents, even if things went bad with his father. Hayden still had his mother with him. Evette didn't have either. Sure, there were adults in her life, but she was more a burden to them than anything. A kid that couldn't get adopted, and when she did it didn't last long. She couldn't remember if she ever called someone mom or dad...well, that wasn't exactly true. Last time she did that was in her last foster family a few years back, in the end...well it just didn't end well. Guess you could say that, despite her inability to hate anyone regardless of what they do to her, she still has some major trust issues. Especially with adults, even though she herself was an adult. Her trust issues with adults is probably one of the reasons she enjoyed taking care of kids so much. A frown pulled at her lips when he turned away from her, trying not to let it bother her, she set the picture frame back on the dresser. She continued to listen though, sliding off of the bed and onto the floor, pulling her knees to her chest. It...bugged her a little, hearing that he was giving up on the promise he made with his mother. She was...kinda jealous to be perfectly honest. Her entire life she was around people who were just like her, knowing what it was like to not grow up without parents. Being given up by their parents the moment they were born. Eve would give anything to see her mother one, just once. Though the chances of that happening were very slim...and she would never admit that she wanted to see her mother.

tab Why did she feel so sad suddenly? It wasn't like she was feeling bad for herself, she could care less about that, but then what was it? Did she feel sorry for Hayden? Why?...Because he was giving up so easily on a promise he made with his mother, something Eve would die to be able to do. Not give up, but to make a promise with her. What promise? Eve didn't know...she didn't know, all she knew was that she wanted to at least see what her mother looked like. Or even her father! The guy that didn't even know she existed. A humorless laugh escaped her lips as she wrapped her arms around her legs, shaking her head when he apologized. No, he had nothing to apologize for. He didn't do anything to her that he would need to apologize for, not yet anyway. "Well, I guess you're sort of lucky, even though saying that now may sound horrible..." It must sound horrible, and despite her being the gift of love, she honestly thought that...yes, she was a horrible person. Evette couldn't lie, not even if she wanted to. It was just another thing came along with not being able to hate people. "You're lucky, Hayden. Lucky because you could go after anyone you wanted, do anything you wanted. And because of this gift, I can never hate you...not even if I wanted to..." She didn't want to hate him, even though she knew that the chances he would hurt her in the future were high. Being with a guy by force was bad enough, but the fact that he would constantly be looking at other girls and knowing that he was doing it...it hurt. For some reason, it hurt. Why was this? She just met him not that long ago, so why? Was she really falling for him this quickly? A sigh escaped her lips as she stood up, wiping at her eyes with the back of her hand. She needed to stop thinking about it, about why what her mother was thinking when she just gave her up. A sad laugh escaped her as she folded her hands behind her back, keeping her back to Hayden. This close to crying, there was no way in hell she was going to let him see.

tab Guess it was her turn now, it was only fair. Despite not wanting to tell anyone about the orphanage and about her past in general, he had told her his past. "I never knew my parents..." She said with a small shrug, biting her lower lip gently. She took a deep breath, hating that her voice shook as she spoke. She was usually so good at hiding her true emotions from people, so why was she like this in front of him? Every time she got like this back at the orphanage she was yelled at for being a big baby. He wouldn't do the same, would he? "My father was...just a visitor from France, traveling to Japan with a bunch of friends. That's where he met my mother. They hit it off...though in the end he left without even knowing about me. My mother...she didn't even think twice, I was given up the moment I was born. She didn't even bother to name me..." Another laugh, though the humor in it was non existent. God, this was harder than usual. "So, I don't know what it's like to have actual parents. Therefore, you're lucky. You know what it's like to have a mother...someone that actually loves you...I grew up in orphanage after orphanage, family after family. Not exactly the childhood a kid should have..." She glanced back at him, a small smile on her lips. She felt like crying for the first time in a while, but she wouldn't let herself. Nope, she had to be strong. What twenty year old cried over something that happened in the past. It was something she should be over by now, yet...she wasn't. She really wasn't. "The drawings that I have were given to me by the children at the last orphanage I was at. They're the only things I really cherish at the moment..." A small sigh escaped her lips as she walked over to the pictures, running her hand across them before turning to look at Hayden. It was painfully obvious that the smile on her face was forced, but if she didn't smile the tears would fall. Lord knows when they would end. "What I want to say is that...the promise you made with your mother...cherish it. Not many kids have the option of doing something like that with their parents. Don't give up so easily on it...I would give anything..." She stopped, clearing her throat as she looked down at the floor. Bad bad bad! The tears were threatening to come out, and she couldn't help it this time. "I'm sorry...I don't know what's wrong with me..." She said, biting her lip as she wiped at her eyes. She felt like an idiot for crying in front of him...

Avalynn just chuckled a bit and punched his shoulder playfully when she saw that smirk upon his face. The mention of sparring was something that seemed to spark his interest, which Avalynn was proud of. "Like I said before, let us drop the formal stuff and just be open, if not we you will continue to be awkward."She stated as she narrowed her large blue eyes at him as if to say the awkward air was his fault. Giving another laugh she watched him carefully and just couldn't seem to stop staring.

He would become her new best friend, hopefully. All though, Avalynn hoped he would look past her beauty and see her for who she really way and love her for that. All except for the woman who took her in and taught her that martial arts, have always just wanted her for her beauty and had done anything and everything to try and trick her and to be with her. A war was even fought between two kings for her, that was the darkest day of her life, seeing thousands being slain in her honor. As her thoughts ran through her head she suddenly heard her betrothed voice state that they should head in the direction of the faint but rather stern voices. Rolling her eyes a bit she couldn't help but laugh. She could see his eyes light up and his demeanor change to that of a more happy stance. It seemed when altercation's took place, Christopher couldn't help but want to watch or see what was going on.

Avalynn stepped in toe beside him as they walked down across the grand entry wall hall and out the door's to see what was happening. As they reached the two men Avalynn could see one was a simple guard and from the looks of things he was shaking yet his face showed no emotion upon it. The blonde spiked haired man must have been the oracle of Anger for everything about him screamed that emotion, even the air around him was a stressful one to her. Placing a hand upon her hip she walked over to the wall a few feet away from them and rested her back against it. Standing there and watching the events unfold. This really wasn't her cup of tea but as she was about to just go walk towards the garden she saw a woman exit the doors. Her big black eyes and dark long hair drawled Avalynn's attention and with out hesitation Avalynn walked past the men and over to Una. "Hello there, i'm Avalynn, the oracle of Beauty. I don't believe we've met."She stated kindly as she bowed her head in respect and just smiled her gorgeous smile.

The sun was beginning to set and night time was coming fast, soon it would be dinner and Avalynn believed that was when everyone would meet, in the dining hall.

Lust is what keeps you wanting to do it even when you have no desire to be with each other.

User ImageHayden looked at her, lucky? He hardly considered himself that. Lucky were the people whose parents actually when they married had feelings for each other and it was something right out of a fairytale. She did have a point, he did do whatever he wanted and no one could say anything about it. But even though he had done all those things, deep down somewhere inside him he felt absolutely rotten about it.

As he continued to listen to her, he knew how hard this forced marriage was going to be. He could go out and constantly lust after any woman he wanted, while leaving her completely broken hearted, and she couldn't even hate him for it. Maybe it was time to change..wait, what? No, Hayden shook his head. He wasn't going to let some feelings for some girl change the way he was living now, no matter how much things were going now. Why did he feel so lost on who he was? He already knew the man he was, and he was letting this girl change everything about him?

Hayden heard her utter a small chuckle, he could tell that she was trying to hold back the tears, trying to be strong. After hearing that she moved from family to family, he guessed she was right about him being lucky. He did have two parents, and even though things got complicated, it was better than what she had.

'I...I'm sorry about your past Eve..'

he said softly. Hayden saw her gaze past the pictures, and saw how much she cherished them. It seemed that the orphanage was her only home, well, one that counted really. Hayden felt dumb just laying there while she was standing in front of him crying over her past and how much of a struggle it was for her. Taking a deep breath in, he slowly got off the bed and then wrapped his arms around her.

"It's okay to let it out, Eve..."

he said, then gently ran a hand up and down her back. Damn. He could feel the temptation coming, and she was so vulnerable...what was he thinking?! Hayden closed his eyes, feeling so lost on who he was. It was as if because of Eve he was unsure of the life that he had been living. Was this a good or a bad thing? He felt numb, not sure what to feel. All he knew was that she needed a friend right now, someone to comfort her.

"I'm so sorry..."

tab Eve couldn't believe this was happening. Why was she crying? She had no reason to be! Sure...she was a little upset about the situation with her parents, but she was an adult now! And why was it suddenly bugging her now? She never really had trouble talking about it before, at least not to the point where she actually started crying. Was it because of him? Was Hayden the reason she was acting like this? But...why? For some odd reason, she trusted him. Trusted him not to laugh at her or yell at her for being suck a baby about this. A lot of people had family problems! She had no right to cry about hers and have a pity party. That's what she was told all the time at the orphanage as a child, and even now as an adult! It was a bit harsh to tell a child that...but she knew they were right. Other kids were probably parent less completely, their parents dead for some reason. Her parents were at least alive...at least she was sure they were. She let out a shaky breath as she wiped at her eyes, new tears forming as soon as the old ones were wiped away. Stop. She wanted them to stop, to disappear. But hearing his words, apologizing for her past, she knew that it would be impossible. She didn't know why, but hearing those words...it seemed like the tears were coming faster. Her vision blurred as the tears flooded her eyes, the drawings from the children at the orphanage becoming nothing but total blurs as the tears fell down her cheeks. No way, this couldn't be happening! Why did he have this effect on her? Made her feel...safe? Safer than she usually would be in front of an adult male. She heard him sigh, tensing up slightly in case he did start yelling at her for crying. But he didn't...he really didn't. No, instead he wrapped his arms around her. He was...comforting her? Why...? Sure, she was crying but...he hardly knew her. Maybe he was just being nice...either way...it helped a little. With his arms around her, she felt safe...she was comfortable, which she found surprising.

tab Telling her that it was ok to cry was...was it a good thing? Surely holding in all of her feelings all the time would backfire on her eventually, not that she cared. She was happy that he didn't seem upset by the fact she was crying like an idiot. But she knew that, even though it was nice of him to try and comfort her, he was probably a little awkward. Part of her wanted to step away from him and say that she was fine, apologize for crying over something this stupid. Yet, another part of her wanted to stay like they were now, with him holding her and comforting her. What side was winning? The second one, unfortunately. Evette shook her head as she wrapped her arms around him, leaning against him and burying her face in his chest. She could hear his heart beating now that they were so close, it was oddly relaxing. If it wasn't for her shaky breathing and shaking shoulders, you would have guessed that she wasn't even crying. The tears were stopping, thanks to Hayden comforting her, but they weren't finished left. "I-I'm sorry...I'm such a baby, this has never happened before..." She said with a small laugh, a sigh escaping soon after. She was really comfortable standing with him like this, it was a little weird. Normally getting close to an older male would be a bit frightening but...he wasn't scary. Not at all, really. "Thank you though, really. I'm...not exactly used to this kind of treatment...then again I've never really acted like this when speaking about my parents..." She said with a small sigh, moving back the tiniest amount so she could look up at him, a small smile on her lips. "You're not a bad guy...you're really not..." She said, leaning up and placing a kiss on his cheek before stepping away from him, wiping the rest of the tears from her eyes as she fell back onto the bed, staring up at the ceiling. Maybe...maybe things could work out fine with them. Sure, he may go after other woman but...that's to be expected right? She wasn't exactly good looking, not like the other girls in the castle. Especially not Beauty. Of course he would go after other girls, and it was good because she couldn't hate him for doing it. It would hurt, but...she'd deal with it. She wasn't going to make him change if he didn't want to. "Hayden, come lay down with me..."

Lust is what keeps you wanting to do it even when you have no desire to be with each other.

User ImageA small smile played upon Hayden's face as she buried her head into his chest, he breathed in deeply, his heart maintaining a steady beat. He slowly lifted up his hand, and then gently ran his fingers through her hair. He missed his mother at this moment, he couldn't deny it. He knew he would be doing the exact same thing now if she was still alive and he saw for only a moment. Hayden quickly stopped his eyes from watering, he heard her apologizing for crying and he laughed a little.

"Don't worry about it, we can't keep things to ourselves all the time and sometimes the tears do fall...but it's better to cry than to keep things bottled up inside than to never shed a tear at all"

Then, an unexpected thing happened. A kiss. As soon as her lips touched his cheek, he felt a warm sensation rush to his face. Oh s**t. He was blushing, guys never blushed, did they? At least, he hadn't before. Well...not since...her. Hayden cleared his throat, and felt the blood rush back to the rest of his body.

'Keep calm, Hayden..just keep calm...'

Hearing her fall back on the bed, he then looked at her. This was the woman that he was betrothed to. She was a kind and gentle soul, and he was the absolute pits of the earth. What would make her love him? He knew he was bound to leave her once he saw another woman, but how loyal would she be to him? He guessed she could have any man she wanted, yet she was staying with him, and dealing with his hateful lust.

Hayden almost smiled at what she said next, it was almost as if she was tempting him almost. He then nodded his head and went on the other side of the bed, lying on his back next to her.

"Anything else you'd like to tell me?"

he asked, looking at her, then back at the ceiling. Hayden continued thinking about how she could leave him as well, but more on how she could get hurt in the process because she loved him so much. This was a tough thing for him, and it all brought back memories of her.
