Cero watched the girl, his nonchalant face showing nothing. Dark hues just watching the girl as she screamed. For some odd reason humans always had this reaction to him. When he was alive, he vividly remembered people smiling at him and openly welcome him. But now, ever since he died, people usually just screamed at him. It had taken a few years to realize he was even dead then. Which was why he usually sang, because he thought he was still alive. He wondered around the city for years, trying to talk to people, to contact them. Before he had any control over his ghostly being. But when he finally realized he was dead, which was when he found his grave in the grave yard, plain and ordinary, he finally realized it. It was a wonder how he got a grave. As years passed, he waited for people to visit him. Family, friends, anyone who knew him. But no one ever came. He would sing, which scared off quite a few people, not that he had a bad voice. His voice was beautiful when he sung, deep and alluring. But the fact that he looked like a beautiful zombie didn't help him make friends with the living and he helped name the cemetery as haunted.

Year after year of waiting, the ghost wondered if anyone wanted to talk to him. He was a shy man, even alive. But his ugly yet beautiful appearance intimidated people. The air around him was always frigid too. The only thing he really could become acquainted with was with felines. They were oddly attracted to him.

If there was one thing Cero didn't know, it was how he looked.

As the child looked up at him, he tilted his head. "Cero." he breathed smoothly. His voice still as beautiful as when he used to sing. The small child looked interest and smiled at him. Was she human or a ghost? He was a ghost. Reaching towards her, his hand went right through her. Human? "Living?" He asked the small child, a small look of acceptance showing in his one hue. She reminded him of his baby sisters, not that he could really remember what they looked like. No one had ever visited his grave since his tragic death. When he died, no one really knew except for the tomb maker.

Tati tilted her head to the other side as she looked and listened to the one eyed ghost and giggled a bit at him. How silly, he thought she was a ghost as she saw him put his hand to go through her. It was slightly cold but it tickled to her which made her giggle a bit more before shaking her head at him.

"I'm alive silly. Hi Cero, oh this is Clyde my bunny."

Tati took Clyde off her head and showed him to Cero who just seemed to sniff at the male ghost before making some noise as if to say he wanted to go back on his perch. The young girl put him back on her head and she watched Cero in awe. Tati was finally meeting a real ghost and he seemed nice to her and seeing the dark hazes around him seemed cool to her. Yeah, she didn't react like normal humans did but her parents had taught her she could believe in anything she wanted to. But right now Tati wanted to play with a ghost, maybe they could play hide and seek though that seemed silly since a ghost would win that but she could always think of something since she had Clyde with her.

"Do you want to play?"

Everything seemed to be well under way. The twins had left before speaking to anyone, just to walk around the yard. It was nice to just walk around and enjoy nothing more then the sound of birds singing. It was one of the best sounds in the world. But now they had finished walking the long way around the yard and found that the funeral from before was over. The first thing that caught their attention was Cero. He was actually away from his own grave and seemed to be speaking to... two humans! "Noah!" the boy said, taking his sisters hand. She already knew what he was going to say. "Yes, we must, Jay~ she said, pulling her brother as they ran past the others, their forum invisible to them, and stood on either side of Cero.

At the same time they tapped him on the shoulder. "I would like to play~" Jayden said as they both became visible to the living as well as Cero. "Please? We haven't had a good game in a while. Even more so in your case, Cero~" Noah teased. Jayden smirked and Noah leaned over to face the living girls. She smiled warmly and waved to them. "Did you finally get tired of us knocking on the ground to get you to come out and play?" Jay asked Cero. The twins would often bother the male so he would speak to them. They figured once he spoke more, they could get him to sing again.

Cero nodded when he was told that the little girl was alive. She didn't seem scared of him, which interested him. She didn't even mind the fact he had tried to touch her. There had been a few people to brave him out, but when Cero tried to touch them to see if they were really alive, then they would run off screaming, adding to the legend of the haunted cemetery. The freaky ghost just watched the child as she giggled at his strange manners.

When she showed off her little terrified rabbit, he thought about touching it too, but as his head reached out, he noticed it struggle to get away. Dropping his black nailed fingers, he just watched the strange unique child. She seemed more than happy to talk to him, which was new to him. It was new to him that ghosts even wanted to talk to him, minus the children ghosts who had a tendency to bug him while he hid, only to be dragged away from other ghosts.

When the twins suddenly appeared next to him, on either side. He glanced at both of them. They had been bugging him, since he stopped singing. But it scared people away, so he stopped. Not that his voice ever got rusty, even when he spoke, his voice was musical and melodic.

When the little girl asked him to play, he stared at her confused. How would he play? He hardly played by himself when he was alive and a child. The only thing he did these days was either hide in his grave or stare out into space.

As the twins continued to tease the shy anti social ghost, he just stared at them. It was pretty hard to get him to talk unless you asked basic questions which he would answer. Which some of the younger ghosts found it fun to make a game of it. Others tried to ask question to him occasionally when they weren't feeling specifically depressed with the dark aura the one eyed ghost gave. They liked to see who could get him to say the most words through a question.

Tati was very confused when Cero didn't answer her about playing with her but it seemed he might not know how to play. Before she could react there were two other ghosts that seemed to show themselves. She could tell because they had hazy colors around them as well just lighter, this made her curious but ignored it for now. Since it seemed the two others that showed up looked like older kids and twins as well. Tati was curious about what they could play now that they seem to be willing.

"Well what can ghosts play?"

Her white bunny was shivering more at all these ghosts and wondered why his small master was so fearless around them. But then Clyde never understood humans whether alive or not, but as long as his owner was fine he would try to be brave. Tati wondered why the girl with the violin hadn't spoken for awhile but perhaps she was too afraid though she wasn't sure why. The adults in the inn always told stories of singing in the graveyard and seeing figures saying their children should never go there at night. Though the inn owners never cared what she did as long as she was back at the inn to eat and clean in the day.

It wasn't surprising when Cero didn't speak to them. They really wanted him to speak to them but they would leave him alone if he didn't want to. For now at least. They could control their bothersome tendencies. They would only bother him a few times per day and then leave him be. They didn't want to annoy him or make him angry. Jayden looked to Noah. She replied with a shrug. That was their way of saying, well, what could you do. It usually meant that they would leave the subject be. Until the next time.

Noah looked to the little living girl as she asked. "Hum..." she said, thinking. "Well, anything really. Though hide and seek might not be fair. We could play.... Tag!" she said, moving forward with the last word and tapping the girl lightly on the shoulder. She giggled but only taking a few steps back. "Aw, Noah, that wasn't fair. You have to say go first." Jayden said before disappearing so that not even his sister could see him. "Jay...?" Noah said timidly, worried what her brother had in mind. Jayden suddenly appeared behind his sister and shoved her. She fell and he was sitting on her stomach in an instant.

"Jayden! Get off me!" she said, smiling and trying to shove him away. Jayden grabbed her wrists and pinned her. He shooked his head no, a smile playing on his face. Noah tried to flail but only ended up lifting her arms a little. Thing was, they were matched in strength. So with enough effort, Noah ended up turning the tables and pinning her brother down. She blow a strand of stray blond hair from her face and smiled. Jayden was too worn out to try and flip her over. He only laughed, rested his head back and closed his eyes for a moment. Nosh stood and dusted herself off. Not that she was that dirty.

Kerri Fay Grant

"Take my spirit, make it fly..."

Kerri stayed silent, not sure what to do or what to say... wow, that's kinda rare, given how much of a chatterbox she's been so far, despite the previous circumstances. Though, Kerri was starting to admit to herself it was getting harder and harder to keep up this happy guise of hers; her mind kept wandering. It made her wonder how long she could hang around everyone until she had to separate, like she always did. It was even rare for her parents to find her in such a depressed state when she had to let it out. She never let anyone see her like that, if she could help it, and Kerri didn't plan on changing that, even in the afterlife.

Suddenly Kerri jumped a bit in surprise, hearing Kyle's voice... in her head? What... what the heck?! She blinked, not really believing what had happened. Uh... wow... I didn't know ghosts were psychic..? But... alright, thanks for telling me... Kerri tried to 'think back' to Kyle, unsure if it would really work. She made a face as if to express her disagreement to Kyle's comment about pestering them, but it faded quickly. If he means pranking them, like ghosts apparently do... I don't know about that. It sounds mean, but... being a ghost, you probably don't have much to do, so I guess I can understand... Kerri nodded lightly to herself, and glanced over to Addison, who wandered back to a grave that also looked a bit worse for wear. It made her a bit curious; about why Addison's and Celo's graves were in such rough shape. They didn't seem like bad people, so surely they must have some family members that cared about them..? But then Kerri remembered the year Addison said he died. What if... any relatives that did care were long gone as well? Or just left the town? Kerri shook her head to try and be rid of any additional sad thoughts.

It became fairly easy as the little girl didn't seem very afraid of Cero, and watched as they interacted. The way Cero was acting really did remind Kerri of a curious puppy or something, so she couldn't help but smile a little. He seemed a bit confused when she asked about playing. But then... two more ghosts appeared?? They looked like twins. They seemed to appear out of nowhere and on each side of Cero, stating they wanted to play too. He was getting so much attention, it made her wonder about his shy behavior before, but maybe it's just because of that; he's shy, or maybe he's kind of a loner type..?

Kerri held back a bit of laughter as she watched the twins go at it energetically as they started playing. A game of tag in a graveyard? She never would have thought. Kerri looked past the group, and stepped away some from the main group, looking around the graveyard. It was pretty big, but then it would make sense; it has been here for many years, and there's usually a casualty fairly often... crap! Kerri shook her head again, and frowned. Her thoughts were being annoying, and starting to go to the sad side of things, and she hated that.

"...will all new wonders appear..?"

((OOC: @Da_Soccer_Ninja_mew: I know, how naive, right? Everyone should know that ghosts can talk to each other with their minds! *shakes head at Kerri*
Oh, and I'm gonna try underlining it any time she tries it so it won't possibly be confused with normal thoughts? Dunno if it helps.))

Cero watched the little girl, then the twins, they were talking about playing. When Cero was little, he used to play in the dirt, drawing pictures if he remembered correctly, though his memory of his life did fail to reach him some times. He also used to climb trees, though after he fell out once and broke his arm, he had to stop. Odd, how did he remember something so far away? That was surprising. Rubbing his head, his fingers tangled in beautiful black hair, his vivid purple hues watched the children. It must be nice to be young.

The older male ghost wasn't used to getting such attention. It was a bit overwhelming, but he didn't move. I just stood there, a paralyzed girl trembling at his feet, a small little girl wanting to play, a female ghost who had enough guts to drag the lonely ghost from his grave, and the two twins that enjoyed teasing and playing. Never had he been talk to by so many people, or even noticed for that matter.

Glancing at his grave, it looked lonely there. He wanted to go back, but oddly he was enjoying himself around such people, as shy as he was. It wasn't easy to be confident when the few times he did try to make friends they were scared off or wanted nothing to do with him.

"The Devil's Apostle."

Jake groaned sitting next to his handmade grave. There was some blood stained on the glass as someone tried to remove the inverted cross only to get a nice large cut on their shoulder. The scarred ghost growled smoking a pack of cigarettes he had stolen from someone during the funeral earlier today. "Hehehe... so ******** bored... Can't do anything without that little b***h raising a fit." Jake growled standing up and grabbed his knife. "I can't wait to get out of this graveyard... and find that son of a b***h brother of mine..." The killer ghost snickered evily and pocked the knife and started to roam the graveyard. As much as he wanted to, he didn't kill any humans that came into the graveyard. He had tried once and had to deal with the guardian of the cemetary. "What a b***h..." He growled as he noticed Cero talking to some humans. With an evil grin, he decided to give them his own special 'greeting'.
"Well... well well... look what dragged into our shithole?" Jake grinned looking over to the humans and used his knife to pick at his sharp teeth "Heheheheh..."

Watching the twin ghosts in confusion as they seemed to play with each other though the game of tag sounded fun. Though she wasn't sure how to touch a ghost but she could always try and wondered if it was getting too crowded or not. Tati looked up at Cero to see him look as if he was thinking and she tilted her head to see him look back at a tombstone. The young girl thought for a moment to see it and wondered if it was his tombstone. If so it looked a bit barren and she then gasped in rememberance. Tati reached into the pocket of her green cloak and pulled out a small yellow flower. She had always brought a flower with her to give to a ghost she would meet if the stories were true, though she didn't know she was going to meet so many so she would bring more the next time. Tati went over to the tombstone that Cero had been looking at and placed the yellow flower on it with a small smile on her face before she came back to the three ghosts. She smiled up at Cero a bit more before turning to the twins.

"Let's play tag. I want to play before I have to go back to the inn."

It was true since it had gotten very dark she would need to return to the inn soon to eat and sleep before doing chores in the morning throughout the day. She would always come back the next evening to visit the ghosts again and maybe bring more flowers that she could find at a meadow not too far away. Tati soon looked over at Cero again only because she saw a new ghost but this one was a bit darker and looked like a skeleton a bit with a knife to pick his teeth. She stared at him as he seemed to greet them though her bunny Clyde seem to be shaking she didn't look scared one bit. The only thing that scared Tati was fire really and she watched Jake with curiousity before she smiled at him as well a bit.

"The Devil's Apostle."

Jake paused for a moment looking down at Tati. "What?" The serial killer cocked an eyebrow "You ain't scared?" He couldn't help but cringe "Weird... most people tend to crap themselves when they see me..." While this was agitating towards the psychopath... he couldn't help but get curious. Most people tended to fear him for his haunting appearance. He crouched down and glared directly into Tati's eyes. "So... who the hell are you kid?" He cocked an eyebrow and grabbed his cig before crushing it in his hands. "This place ain't the best place for a little s**t your age."

Tati watched Jake with the smile still on her face but then seemed a bit serious for a moment as he spoke to her. She knew he was saying bad words at her and she raised her small hand and pushed it on his head as if she was smacking him. Though it probably went through him a bit as she frowned at him and put her hands on her hips at him.

"No flowers for you next time. No I'm not scared, my parents used to tell me I shouldn't judge others."

Tati giggled a bit and smiled at him again, he looked a bit cool as a skeleton to her even though her bunny Clyde was watching Jake with caution. He didn't trust this ghost and could feel bad intentions and hoped his owner was careful. Tati knew she would head back to the inn at an hour or two.

The ghost watched wearily as the little girl placed a flower on his barren grave. But soon as it touched the dirt his body had long decomposed in, it instantly withered. Only weeds grew near his grave, grass was dead and flowers died instantly. Maybe it was Cero's will, or one of those unnatural things that happen for no explainable reason. Either way, it didn't last long. The flower didn't even affect the ghost. Though it did interest, no real emotion was flickered inside him. He was still his same indifferent self.

Cero had no qualms with Jake. The mummy like ghost had his share of bad days where he had attacked humans. Only for a few years though after he discovered he was dead and how he died, he wasn't ready to accept it. So he went on a bit of a rampage, centuries ago. He ended up killing someone because he scared them and they fell into traffic of carriages and ended up getting run over by five or six of them. It was a man his age too... Young-ish, but not a child and not fully an adult. As some would say, teenager? No, he had to be older than that. That was why Cero had such a cold eerie mist about him.

Besides, Cero was a strong ghost, he had a few tricks up his sleeve. Which was why he never seemed to worry about showing himself or not. Most ghosts were too scared to show themselves because they were weak and didn't know how to protect themselves, not that humans could really hurt them... Well except for priests. Which Cero had a special dislike for. Though he could easily defeat a priest or sort of clergy without batting an eye. It was always best not to get on the intimidating ghost's bad side. Which no one had been able to do, or at least yet.

Watching as Jake tried to scare the humans, he just watched, showing no change of expression. It was always hard to figure out what the ghost was thinking, sure he was shy, but that didn't mean he was easy to read. Such indifference made it near impossible to know anything about Cero.

"Take my spirit, make it fly..."

Kerri snapped out of it from watching the other play around when she heard a rather... dirty mouth make a rude comment. She frowned and glanced over where she heard it, though her eyes widened in surprise. Was that.. another ghost? Holy... god. He looked nothing like the rest of them. He was just freaking terrifying, and the way he acted seemed to go with it. It reminded her of yet another movie somehow, though... except the rider's head lights on fire or something? Or was that their motor bike? No, she never saw that, but heard a lot of the other kids at school talk about it.

Slowly, Kerri tried casually backing up a bit more. Her eyes glanced just about anywhere except for over there. I mean, he was picking his teeth with a knife for god sake! Just that little bit reminded her of some horror movie. But... Kerri tensed herself up, and took a quiet breath; she wouldn't just let herself leave, either. Not the way this guy kept talking to the little girl. Okay... no problem Kerri. You've dealt with bullies before, you... you got this! She clenched her hands into fists, though gulped a bit whens she looked back over. ...But none of them looked like that! H-hah... it's fiiine! No... worries...! With that little bit of wonderful encouragement for herself, Kerri marched on over closer, though didn't get too close, either. She intended to go closer, but... yeah, it wasn't happening. Kerri wore a serious expression on her face, and pointed in his direction, though at this point she let herself be seen as well, since otherwise her voice would be coming out of nowhere. "Y-you... you should... I mean, you need to watch your mouth! She's just a little kid..!" Immediately Kerri wanted to do a 'facepalm'. Really? That was all she could come up with? A weak lecture on watching his language? Nice.
