Robin Victoria Saintclaire - 'Ice Storm' - Navigator

"Oh, Pan," she said rather surprised when the young girl ran into her. The pilot she navigated for no less. "Don't worry about it, I'm interested about what's going on more than anything too. Have you heard much?" That was when she saw Zane tearing down the hall. "Better move," she said to Pan as she grabbed her shoulder and moved her aside. "That boy is a train wreck waiting to happen, but funny as hell," she said shaking her head. "I guess we should move though."

As they walked, she saw people giving them looks. Not a lot of people tended to understand Robin and that made her feel bad for her pilot who felt free to chat with her whenever possible. Not that she didn't like the company, it was refreshing actually. However, her reputation was a tad ominous to whoever walked by her let alone talked to her.

...John "Dormouse" Myers...

John tapped his foot as he waited. What was taking them so long? He could have sworn that Zane and Amie had followed him. But even after several minutes, they were nowhere to be seen. He was about to call one of them on his earpiece when a there was a dramatic change in the crowd of students. A path seemed to be forming among them as people rushed to get out of some unseen person's way. A few unlucky schmucks were forcibly removed from the path in ways that should have been physically impossible. Finally, the cause of the commotion became visible.

"Ah, you rascally rabbit!" John called out to Zane. "I was getting a little restless over here, all on my own." But his brow furrowed when neither Amie nor any of the other Gale Zero operatives appeared behind Zane. "Where's Amie?" he asked. "For that matter, where's everybody else?"

Pan smiled in relief as Robin began to speak,. The older girl, despite what others thought was a very nice person. She would know, after all she had known Robin for sometime now and she was not the ice queen everyone presumed her to be. It was just that she didn't like guys talking to her, although for the life of Pan she couldn't figure out why talking was bad.. However, she did realize that her social perceptions were somewhat skewed. She was perhaps one of the smartest on her team and passed school with flying colors without even trying, but when it came to certain social interactions she just...failed.

However, this did not mean she was completely indept at noticing things. Such as, the scowls and whispers that were floating around her and Robin. Each glare was directed at Robin, for what reason Pan could have no idea, but it was extremely rude she decided. One boy in particular was making his way with his gang towards her and Robin, smirking as his cronies chuckled.

Of course it just so happens at the same time she felt the tug on her shoulder as Robin announced she should move back. Unfortunately for those guys they had no such help. Each of them were flung comically backwards and to the side colliding with each other and then the wall or floor.

Pan almost couldn't keep in her giggles as they escaped her mouth, a grin spreading across her full lips. Nodding, she looked to Robin as the older girl spoke about the whirlwind that had just ran through, named Zane. " Isn't he though. Has perfect timing to." Another giggle, as rare as they were for her, escaped her mouth. Zane seemed to make her laugh the easiest. " Yes, let us go. I want to see the others." Decidingly, she took Robins hand and launched into her own sprint.

It was ever so easy to move now that Zane had cleared a path and as she spinted by, much more gracefully mind you, she waved to Cheshire, Amie and Alicia. Twirling on the ball of her foot Pan nearly avoided colliding right into Zane as she giggled again and came to a stop. " That was fun! " She announced, looking at Robin and giving a small smile. " Did you see those boys, they were like rag dolls. They didn't even see Zane coming. Although I suspect no one else did either." It wasn't that Pan liked people to get hurt, but the fact that she no longer had to be crushed against their bodies and all those glares at Robin had stopped, well it was nice.

Turning she made an o with her mouth as she waved at John, having come just in time to hear his words to Zane.. " I see you are all ready to go John. Don't worry about the others, they are right behind us. It is much easier to move now that Zane cleared a path." Giving one more tiny little giggle at the thought she turned her gaze to Zane. " Thanks for that by the way. No one seemed to have any regard for personal space." The very thought made her want to slink to a wall again and not remember how many times her butt had been slapped today.. Ugg. However, " Does anyone know why all of us are being called to the base by any chance?"

The White Rabbit (?)

User ImageWith various pushes and shoves to get everyone out of his way, so his speed would be impeded as little as possible, Zane tore through the crowd of oncoming students and came to a skidding halt right before he would have slammed into Dormouse, who, of course, had something snappy to say about rabbits. As he finally, stopped, though, he ended up halting just but a few inches away from John's face, but ultimately no contact was made. His eyes widened and he fell back as a recoil to his stop.

He cringed and rubbed his rear as he arose again, whispering a few swears as he did so. "Well, maybe if you didn't take off on your own....", He commented on John's statement how he was getting restless being alone. Again, Zane was definitely one to talk. Yup. Deifnitely.

He stared blankly at John when he asked where Amie was, and a smile slowly crept over his face, his eyes squinting at he gave John a look that said nothing short of 'HURR HURR HURRRRRR!'. The paradox of a navigator asking another pilot where his own pilot was happened to be too appealing of a thought to Zane. He stayed quiet, giving John that s**t-eating grin for a good few moments, hoping he would catch the irony in his question. "Isn't it your job to know that?", He asked, just to add insult to injury, or just in case John hadn't pieced it together. He wouldn't be hearing the end of it any time soon.

Still, for the sake of the team, the mission and time, he pointed over his shoulder and he said, "She's back there with the others, I saw them meeting up in the hall, so they should be right behind us.". Case in point, Pan appeared close to him. Very close to him. Similar to how he had just done to John. "Oh..", He said, surprised, leaning back a bit, but catching Pan and smiling. "Hi, Pan.", He said, "....Hi.". He stared at her with that same smile for a few moments as she confirmed his point to John. He looked back over his shoulder at him and moved his eyebrows up and down at him, his way of telling him he told him so. He was a ******** genius.

Still, they were ready to go, and needed to be heading out, emergency and all, and the remaining Zeros were tailing behind. He craned his neck to look behind them over students, but to no avail. He hopped a few times, but still had little effect. He scowled and stood still for a moment before eying two passing students, which he charged at, grabbed and vaulted onto the shoulders of. Of course, this was met with protest from the students, who were confused and terrified all at the same time as Zane balanced as best he could on his knees, towering over everyone else now. He spotted the other Zeros down the hall and he lifted his hand to his mouth before shouting, "Move it, we're late! We're late!". Before he could shout anything else, however, he shrieked and collapsed on top of the students who supported him, as they had lost balance.

They were a bit loopy and passing students whispered and looked at them, but Zane got up, dusted himself off and looked up at the others. "We're late.", He said, matter-of-factly, a manic grin spreading across his face. He looked at Pan at the mention of 'personal space'. "...What's that?", He asked with a skeptical expression, making a joke.

Or was he?

He laughed and patted John's back when the question of what the emergency detailed arose, adding, "Mouse here. He didn't ask! It's gonna be a surprise for us when we get there!". He looked at his wrist, as though checking the time on a watch that wasn't there, and he showed it to the others, tapping on the flesh where a watch would have been. "We've gotta get going. Especially before the hall sweep!", He said with a grin.

Miranda Blaine
"Cheshire"

                      A third girl joined the pair as they made their way at a moderately casual pace to where they were supposed to be meeting transport back to base. Miranda offered the girl a smile and hello; "Hi Alicia. Long time no see!" She teased. Everyone in Gale Zero saw each other on a regular basis, it kind of happened when you were working on a team with others. Before she could get another word out, however, a sudden noise caught her attention... No, not noise. It was Zane;

"Move it, we're late! We're late!"

Miranda's head snapped up at the sound of Zane's voice coming from further ahead. She wasn't moving that slow... Still, spots of color bloomed on her cheeks. Really, being a Gale Zero operative, one would think she could at least manage to be timely. Especially if there was an emergency. Some of the students grumbled as they picked themselves back up and Miranda decided if she wanted to take advantage of the path of destruction left by White Rabbit in his mad dash, she should probably move a little faster. Nodding at Amie and Alicia, Miranda took off down the hall. Students, made more aware of the surroundings by Hurricane Zane, hopped out of her way, a few calling after her. Of course, they didn't need to move, Miranda still had enough space to get around most people.

She slowed drastically when Zane, John, Pan, and Robin came into view, soft soled shoes sliding on linoleum, and coming to a halt a few feet away from the group. She took a few steps to join the group once more, a small smile on her lips. It really did feel good to run. Composing herself, and smoothing out the pale gray pleated skirt she wore, she clasped her hands in front of her, and stayed quiet.

Amie nodded at Miranda when she heard her say that she ran into her and Zane and that she also got the message. She walked through the hall with Miranda slowly as she listened to Miranda. "I see. So you have heard. I have heard it from John. Good thing I noticed them in the hallway while getting out of my class, or else John would have had to call me through out earpieces. And to answer your question about what the emergency was, I'm not sure. We all aren't all we know is that it sounds important and we have to get to base immediately. It must be important. And it is required that we get there fast." Amie said with her usual small voice and looked at Miranda with a smile on her face.

Amie then heard another voice coming from behind them. She turned around and saw another pilot and a friend, Alicia, also known as "Killer Queen." "Alicia. Good afternoon. Good to see you as well. I'm sure you have heard that we have all been called in for an important mission so we have to get back to base immediately. It sounds important so we had best get there as soon as possible." Amie said as she noticed Alicia looking at Zane with a scowl. They never really did get along. Zane always took Alicia's threats as a joke, but Alicia really didn't like Zane. Amie understands why because of Zane's personality. Amie decided to not get involed in their rivalry since it was their rivalry. She then noticed some more people of her unit. She smiled when she noticed Pan and Robin together already. She waved back when she saw Pan's wave to them while Pan was running down the hallway.

Amie looked down the hall and noticed Zane was back with John. "So that's where John went." Amie mumbled as she walked down the hall towards where John and Zane were. She gestured for Miranda and Alicia to come with her toward John and Zane before walking to where they were. She walked up to John and Zane. "So this is where you went John. You should have waited. Zane would have made a path for you too if you hadn't walked ahead of us." Amie giggles a little as she looked at Zane. "Anyway. At least we found you. I found Miranda and Alicia as well. I also saw Pan and Robin. They should be coming as well." Amie said as she looked back into the hall where everyone else was.

...John "Dormouse" Myers...

"She was with you, and you both failed to use your legs properly," John said, giving Zane a playful shove in response to the White Rabbit's comments about keeping track of Amie. But he took a moment's break from roughhousing to call Amie using his earpiece. "Dormouse to Silent Fox. What's your 20?"*

John gave a small smile to the other Zeros as they approached. He was about to reply to Pan's question when Zane answered for him. He rolled his eyes. "Didn't see you ask the Base, nor nobody else," he said, rolling his eyes. He craned his neck, trying to keep an eye out for Amie. He breathed an audible sigh of relief when he spotted his pilot waving. He waved back. "Come on!" he shouted over heads at her.

Robin Victoria Saintclaire - 'Ice Storm' - Navigator

Robin simply smiled at her comrades as Pan made most of the conversation. It was the usual deal, but this time she decided to speak up a little. "No matter what it is, it must be a decent deal for them to call everyone down here. At least we get out of class," she added with a small smirk. It was probably one of the few times anyone of them had really heard her talk except for Pan. However, unlike most, this group didn't treat her any less than she liked to be treated.

"So, John," Robin started with a slightly bit of a more sincere smile. "I guess I haven't really introduced myself as a fellow Navigator. It's nice to officially meet you in person instead of on paper, and through Zane's troublesome bellowing down the halls." Extending her hand out for a handshake, she tried to remain like a civil human being... even if the crowds bothered her.

Emile Anderson Sat in class, tapping her pencil on her desk, her all seeing, supposedly all knowing, and lastly all penetrating striking blue eyes staring out the window. She sighed in her head, they had gone over this particular sub-chapter ten thousand times it seemed like and Emilie of course understood it the first time she glanced at the title, while everyone else needed to read it out loud with one another, discuss it, and question it. Emilie had no interest in classes although she was not in the habit of skipping like Zane, and if she caught him skipping she'd make sure he ended up at class some how no matter what she had to do to get him there.

She heard the bell ring, her things already packed up ten minuets ago, and the bell awoke her from her mind's drifting and she as she was alerted to a message as her ear piece beeped and then played the message. It was urgent, calling all of them to the base immediately. She threw her messenger bag over her shoulders and jumped up from her seat, her platinum white hair catching the sun light that came through the window as it flashed behind her. Emilie moved swiftly, sure she was one of mostly intellect, but she was extremely physically fit.

She easily maneuvered through the crowds of students in the hallways, dodging them and brushing past them, her toes barley touching the ground as she rushed to find another person of the Gale Zero unit who might know what exactly was going on, either way she was worried and had to know. She saw then and slowed down, jogging up to them. Emilie's chest rose and fell with her deep breaths as her lungs tried to catch up with her body. Emilie was only seventeen, but she filled out extremely well, she had full round breasts, a fit small waist, and absolutely perfect hips, not to mention her long slender legs. She was wearing a v-neck white t-shrit with some sort of graphic design on it and a pair of dark wash jeans that hugged her body perfectly. Her jacket that usually hid her perfect figure was buried somewhere in her messenger bag.

"Hey," She looked at all of them then turned her attention towards Zane, he was her partner after all,"Whats going on?" She looked at the rest of them,"I"m assuming we all got the same message, anyone know what its about...?"

Tension filled her muscles and bones as Zane caught her. Pan quickly filed the emotion away under a small smile of thanks placed on her full lips. Silently she stepped backwards as more commotion took place and the rest of the team moved to surround each other. Slowly she counted them off, Cheshire, Amie, Alicia---Emilie. Tautly she paused at that name, sighing at the tension in her muscles and most notable, her emotions. It wasn't that she didn't like the girl, she was nice and well, quite perfect for the team; she could see why they had recruited her just as Gale Zero had recruited all the others. However, something about Emilie annoyed Pan, made her irritable and stiff around the girl. She was not dense, she could figure out why she felt the way she did, but refused to think on it. It was just that the girl acted so--superior . Even if Pan knew Emilie was a very nice person..

Emotions rolled back under the wall she had built to hide them, reverting her to the Pan most knew. The daughter of two scientist, logical and calm. “ No, sorry. No one knows what it is about, we were just about to go to the base to figure that out.” Plainly and politely she spoke to Emilie, looking back over to Robin and the open handshake she was giving John. Inwardly she was happy Robin was getting the chance to know more people, after all if anyone knew how hard it was to interact with others it was Pan. It wasn’t until recently that she had even been aloud to interact with the outside world, barring Zane. Now eveyone was so nice and they were her teammates--but it wa.. Oh well it didn't matter. Looking out back at the group Pan nodded to Zane and John’s words, they really did need to be going. “ We should be going; the base will not want to be kept waiting.” Her voice was calm and precise as she moved forwards towards the transport in the distance, trying desperately to forget the tension covering her body. She still wasn’t use to interacting with others she supposed, so emotions playing havoc with her body was to be expected. ‘There I go again, speaking analytically....’

Why wouldn’t she, after all she was still a--no she still had to find out some things before she started acting all babyish. ‘Damn weakness.’ She silently cursed in her head. Finally reaching the transport she lifted herself up into it. She was not weak, despite her appearances. Turning back to look at the group she waved a hand towards them. “Come on we’re going to be late and you know how grouchy the General can get when we’re late.” The driver of the transport chuckled and turned to the crowd, shouting out his own word through the com system. “ She’s right, come on and hurry up slow arses! Or do you feel like getting another lecture from the general on being punctual and the ever exciting references of the good old days?”

Nodding Pan watched as Greg (their transporter for years now) winked at her and commented on how much time it would take the team to get to them after that comment. Pan thought on it and shrugged, smiling a small mischievous little grin.Pan was only human--or at least part of her was. Whatever she found out about herself and the new system wouldn't change that.. Besides that the message she had received from the base did sound rather urgent, they needed to get back there fast.

(Sorry Juliet In Black I hope its okay I jumped off of your post for fluff to fill out my post XD, I don't know much about your character though so if its wrong please let me know this is all just guessing off of what I've read so far. I suppose we should establish some sort of relationship for our characters.)

Emilie looked at Pan, she had to say she wasn't Pan's biggest fan, not that she disliked her, Emilie just didn't get along so well with Pan. For one she was sure that Pan had a pretty huge crush....but sometimes Emilie couldn't really tell, not that it would be an issue. Zane ******** any girl he wished when he wished anyways, its not like Emilie was in charge of the love life of a reckless, wild, and sex crazed teen age boy who was absolutely filled to the brim with devilish charm and just so happened to be her best friend. But Pan bothered Emilie just because she was so meek. Emilie had a problem with meek people, especially meek women. Emilie had complex feelings for the girl, she constantly wished she would grow a back bone or that she would just get a little confidence - but not everyone could be as strong as Emilie, but then again the meek Pan was the shy, little girl of Gale Zero and Emilie would never let anything happen to her.....sort of like how a little sister annoyed you, but they were YOU'RE annoying little sister.
Perhaps meek or shy wasn't the right word, she was just kind of quite and not very assertive....nothing wrong with that though right? Sometimes Emilie had to kick herself and remind her self not to be so critical. Not to mention most of what she knew of Pan was assumed through a very small amount of contact, the girl seemed to avoid her and they never were very close.

Emilie doubted that Pan returned her feelings, Pan was so shy it was hard to tell how she felt a lot of the time. This was re-affirmed in her as Pan spoke to her shortly then ran off. Either way Emilie glanced at Zane for reference or comfort that it was probably an overreaction before she looked away back at Pan as she called for them to come. "One second!" She said and looked back at the group,"She's right we need to get going." Her bright blue eyes scanned over them all, wondering why they weren't already gone, her long platinum white hair cascaded down her back as she turned to leave, usually she wore it up because it was so thick and long. She loved her long, luxurious hair, but it was a hassle at times. She turned around and looked at them over her shoulder, waiting on them to follow suit.

Yes usually the confident, brilliant Emilie wore her jacket to cover her cleavage and her hair up to hide her femininity and it wasn't unusual to find her in some sweat pants that rested on her hips, revealing her torso ever so slightly. Emlie dressed for comfort and rarely for style. Everyone in Gale Zero pretty much knew that if you walked in her room at any given time she was usually in yoga pants and a tank top that clung to her body, sweats and a tank top that revealed her perfect, slender waist, or short shorts and yes..a tank top that revealed her ever so long and elegant legs. Although in public she was usually in sweats or jeans and her top didn't usually matter, she usually wore her jacket. And don't even start in on make up, the most she ever wore was possibly some mascara, but she had naturally dark eyelashes, bright eyes, glowing skin, and pink lips....to find her in make up meant something was definitely astray. Today that was not the case.

"Lu... Miss.Drake?" Sergeant Beakman had returned under orders, and she was still there looking at her mech, as if trying to put the missing pieces back together. Being around her made him a little nervous, but she seemed to be in odd spirits, not mad, but not happy either. A mellow he certainly wasn't familiar with. Standing at ease, he awaited for her response.

So he was learning. You had to pick things up quick around here, she figured, lest you get reprimanded by this, that or the next person. A smile curled on her voluptuous lips as she turned to face him, saluting him."Yes Sergeant Beakman? What can I help you with?" Her body gave way to another shiver. She was still clad in her bedraggled pilot garb, which wasn't much in the ways of insulation. It seemed like only five minutes ago he was here. How much time had passed? Another thought for another time she supposed. Something had to be up seeing as how his leave was quite breif.

"The general would like to speak to you about your position here, as well as your current standing with ..." He couldn't finish it. Maybe it was due to those emerald occulars staring at him, making him feel naked and vulnerable to say the least.

Her brow had furrowed. This was certainly not what she wanted to hear. Sighing she ran a hand through her hair, or at least tried to. It was still braided and curled up into a bun looking just as banged up as she was. She must have looked quite the mess. "Very well, take me to him." Letting out a sigh of defeat, her eyes lingered on Genesis before leaving the hangar.

He nodded and lead the way back to the debriefing room where the general awaited for the Gale Zero team to arrive. Glad to open the door for her, and glad to be dismissed, he was on his way to do his other duties to help run the base as smoothly as possible.

Gale General Albert Cross

The call had been sent, and as far as he knew, the Zero unit was responding immediately. He let out a small sigh of relief. At least now things were in motion, he thought, hoping to the forces of nature that the enemy hadn't found the plans. If they had the United's plans in their possession, it could be disastrous for the future of the war.... And the future of humanity, in turn.

He'd also sent for the new arrival to the base, Animus Drake, a lieutenant and an ace pilot and engineer, previously stationed at Space Station Alpha, or S.S.A., which was recently attacked and destroyed in a battle with the Divided forces in space. The casualties as well as overall losses were quite heavy, but Animus was recovered, as her brilliant defense mechanisms installed into her mech saved her life, putting her in a form of stasis until she was picked up by a search-and-rescue party. He was more than pleased that the Divided hadn't gotten a hold of her first. The things they would have done to her......

But that was not the kind of thoughts that Cross needed to be entertaining and he knew this, so he cleared his mind of worry and grief and gained his composure. After all, he was the general of Gale Base, and he needed to appear strong for those under his command.

There was knock at the door, and Cross was listening to the recording of the transmission sent from the convoy again. He cut off the recording and arose, putting his hands behind his back and awaiting the arrival of she who he requested. Animus entered the room and her escort was dismissed. The door was closed and the two were left alone in silence.

"At ease, lieutenant.", Cross said, after a salute. He seemed a bit more casual after. Gale Base was unlike other military bases, it was just a bit more relaxed, as those stationed there had enough to be stressed over without worrying about 'standard military protocol', like standing up straight and walking in formation. It wasn't important, thus, they did things their own way. "I have read over your file several times since you were recovered.", He began, his fingertips tracing over the folder with her name on it, "I must say, I'm impressed with your sense of self-preservation. Also, let me be the first to assure you there was nothing you could do past what you did. The attack was a surprise, and the weapons they had, you weren't ready for. I don't want to see you moping around and draining yourself over it. This is not open for debate. Is that understood?".

He paced a bit after speaking and he said, "As much as I would like to tell you that your place is with Gale Zero, where they had you transferred, I must disagree with that decision. Gale Base is certainly a place for you. We only station the boldest, brightest and most gifted here, and you fit each of those descriptions...", he looked back at her and stood to face her, "However. Your overall talents would be better suited to use in another unit. Gale Zero is well off as it is, and our other units are rapidly declining in their counts of quality pilots.", he explained.

"Your leadership is needed elsewhere. Your innovative mind and ability to think outside the box is also needed. Our other units, outside of Gale Zero, their mech suits are... Not quite up to par with what they need to be anymore. You know how to make them more viable in combat as well as give them capabilities extending beyond the standard. We need that.", He said. He was, in fact, suggesting they transfer her to another Gale unit and stick her right back into the cockpit of another mech.

The White Rabbit (?)

User ImageThe Zeros were catching up and Zane grinned as they all formed together. Robin and John were shaking hands... Were they just now meeting? Was that what was going on? Emilie joined them and he offered her a smile and a casual salute, greeting her with a, "Hey, Ace!". She was, after all, his navigator and one of his most trusted allies, who he could always depend on and could always be pleased to see. His smile slowly faded, however, as she and Pan faced one another in something of a western-style stare-down.

His eyes glanced back and forth at them and he had a puzzle, or concerned, expression on his face. The two always acted so oddly around one another for some reason, and no one really ever put together why. To his knowledge. It didn't really make sense. Emilie was sweet and cute, Pan was sweet and cute, it seemed like they should be two peas in a sweet and cute pot. Also, sexy. He always imagined they would hang out and have sleepovers and lingerie pillow fights and stuff, and eat bon-bons, whatever the s**t those were, talk about boys and stuff and paint eachother's nails, cause that's definitely what girls would do. Yet, there always seemed to be tension when they were in the same place and not at least ten yards apart. Or was it five...? Whatever.

He would often joke in his head that, since they were both such close friends to him specifically, they just liked to be territorial and catty over him. Little did he know...

John spun around to take off, urging them to follow, Pan agreed, as did Emilie. Obviously, Zane was relieved that the tension was broken and again that they were finally getting a move on after the doddling they'd found themselves doing. Usually, he'd have held hands with Pan or Emilie, but since they were both there, he would fly it solo until they got to where they needed to be. Namely, Gale Base.

He rushed down the stairs and through the halls, shoving unsuspecting fools out of the way as he did so, earning him quite a few colorful curses and dirty looks. A few teachers who stood in the hall, presumably his teachers, shouted after him as they saw him run by. Probably something about his excessive tardiness or absences or something. He didn't know, or really care. When he was outside of the building, the other Zeros were either there already or were right behind him.

"Shotgun!"
, He shouted eagerly, sprinting for the front seat of the hovering military transport that was there just for them. Like an awesome armored limousine that was taking them to a school prom where they danced with giant robots and blew the s**t out of ones that weren't friends. The others might have taken heed to his shouting of 'shotgun', however, as the last time Zane had called 'shotgun', he actually had a shotgun that he fired multiple times in order to scare the others into letting him have the front seat. Not that he fired at any of them...

He was just about to hop into the front seat before another team member, probably John, grabbed his collar and yanked him back. "Glack!!", He shouted as his shirt strained against his neck and he fell back onto his a** on the ground. He groaned and sat there in pain for a moment, having fallen right onto his tailbone. He climbed into one of the back seats of the transport, mumbling a few swears, and sat in a very awkward way in a window seat, scowling out of it with his chin resting in his hand.

Her body was rigid even after the general granted her to be at ease. Having a feeling that this was not going to be a pleasant meeting she listened to all of what he had to say before opening her mouth. "General Cole sir, if I may..." She took in a deep breath and closed her eyes, her mind running a mile a minute. Knowing that she had to say something fairly brilliant at this point to convince the general to keep her here and have her stay. Trying to remember anything she could about Gale Unit Zero, she felt like she was coming up short. "Even though you have recognized and acknowledged my prestige as both leader and pilot, I wish not to get reassigned to another unit, and remain with Gale, sir. If I may request." Her mind was racing now, everything seemed to be placing itself together quite nicely, but she wasn't about to leap into the assumptions that he wouldn't reconsider. "I would like to be this team's mechanic and engineer. If memory recalls, you have the White Rabbit, of whom both you and I know, would be the most capable to test any changes I would make, either to the entire operating system of a suit, or minor mechanical adjustments. Elsewhere my abilities and knowledge would be undermined by bad piloting and ultimately forward progression would not be made. Of course she has only heard of the successes Gale Unit Zero had, and only the -good- things about White Rabbit. The fact that he was reckless, quick to jump, and god knows what other flaws he had, weren't the flattery that got published. "This is also one of the largest operating bases that has the most amount of resources that could be at my disposal for war-time technological advancements. Stationing me elsewhere would cripple the possibilities."

There, that should do it. She thought... she hoped... Her body shivered again. It'd give the general a great deal of information to chew on at least. That and she really didn't feel like being a pilot anymore. She felt like she wasn't ready, and she needed a break, though mentioning any sort of frailty within her person be it physical or psychological at this point would be foolish and negate her efforts.
