The brightest flame
Kahli Stood miles from the city, standing on a cliff side overlooking the hordes of either army, two of her Phantoms stood on either side of her. With every breeze that shifter her gown she became like transparent like black shadowy smoke. Her eyes that burned like smoldering coals scanned the field that would host this battle and planned her attack. The Phantoms saw what she saw, heard her thoughts as their own, her will imprinting their mission to their minds. Without a word they left, one ran back the way she had come the other simply jumped from the cliff falling into the shadow it cast as if it had been water. A slight smile spread across her grey skin, it had been a while since she had been part of a battle of this scale.
She walked off the edge of the cliff and in a blur of shadow and the sound of cloth whipping in the wind she dashed side to side a few times and then was walking again as if she had simply taken a small step down. As she walked towards the hordes of demons she held her hands out palm up conjuring flames that she then sucked back into her body, a shimmer spread over her skin like when you blow on a burning coal quickly dimming back to the dull grey of her skin. It was easier to use fire in battle if she had it stored up rather then conjuring on the in the heat of the moment. With every lick of fire absorbed by her body Khali's eyes grew brighter. By the time she had reached the demonic ranks her skin had turned a darker shade of grey, almost black and her eyes shown like the fires of the hell she came from.
She spied one of her Phantom among the ranks as she slid through them, all her movements were as fluid as shadows shifting in moving light. The husks and underlings mostly avoided looking at her some openly stared other bowed and saluted as she passed. Though she barely saw them, they could have been shouting curses at her for all she cared, they were pawns in a bigger game.
