This war has been in full swing throughout the ages, stealing countless lives in its unending rampage. It’s happened ever since humans set foot on the fresh soil created by our lord in protector, ever since our ancestors were cast from paradise for their sins. The world has been stained with blood as the war between angels and demons still rages on.
It’s always been known that they walk among us, angels and demons alike. No stories could dismiss these almighty beings as myth, no sacrifice big enough to destroy their hatred for one another
Angels, holy beings have protected us from the very first moment our ancestors walked the land, protecting us from the scourge that lies beneath. They’ve donned sacred armor and continuously lay down their lives to save us from what could be a quick and devastating extinction. They acknowledge the sacrifice but still continue to fight in hopes of protecting the Lord’s greatest creation.
Demons, savage beasts that have destroyed the world, focused on decimating the human race and all who support them, family and friends alike. All possess great strength, following the noxious being known as the Red King, the infamous ruler of hell, Satan himself. They all move forward with an unshaken hatred, ruthlessly killing whoever they please. Even now humankind has been completely crippled, brought near extinction despite the Angel’s best attempts. However, there is hope.
Humanity’s last hope of self preservation rests in the Largest City, Orthae. It is this place that the entirety of the country’s military force has assembled, assigned to protect this place at all costs. It’s the last remaining sanctuary for humans and The King has been able to pull together a special force which can rival the angels in terms of strength. He has formed a group titled ‘The Exalted’. It’s rumored that this group is a combination of Angels, Demons, and Humans, all dedicated to protecting the kingdom, mainly the human race. They intend on taking charge of the human contribution to this war and have the power to pose a threat to the army of the Red King.
Even if it’s slow, the world is being consumed by this war. Orthae has no choice but to take up arms for its own survival and The Exalted plan on doing that. As preparations for this clash are made, a sign of good will has been sent from the heavens. A large force of angels have descended upon the earth in order to assist this great push and the war will only wage on as the newly established army takes the initiative, ready to clash with the ferocity of the Red King and its army.

To keep things balanced and more importantly, fair, I’ve created a stat system the balances out the ranks of each part of the war. Every rank has it’s own amount of base stats and each character gets to spend twelve extra points on their character in order to make them in their view. However, you can’t spend more than five points in a single stat. The four stats we’ll be using are Power, Magic, Speed, and Defense. They are all very basic and this is done on purpose. To give an example of how things are done I’ve made an example using two ranks that will be used in the roleplay.
As you see, both characters have been given 12 points to be split among their stats however they wish. When going into combat with another person, this should help gauge how the fight would go. From what’s obvious, the Reaver as a lot of speed and power, a total of 8 on each stat. This would probably mean they have a crushing offense a good amount of speed. However, the Archangel is balanced in all stats. Even though the Archangel is balanced, it’s stats would still carry it to victory simply because of base stats. However, a fight is always unpredictable and it’s certainly fair to say that the Reaver could pull of a surprising victory. The point of the stat system is simply to show that while we may all be OP, there’s still a difference between ranks.
The Exalted Revealed: The demons have marched up to the front gates, there's no other choice but to fight. The Leader of the Exalted stands before the army of Orthae, preparing them to push the demons back. With the assistance of angels, Orthae takes the initiative, the first push of a new war! The Amry of Orthae has pushed back the demon assault, finally taking the offensive. Natani's poison carried them to victory, after causing the mighty Khali to flee. Though this victory came with one heavy loss. Nomini, a member of the Exalted has been taken prisoner by Allant, dragged back to hell.
Da’shta; a large country, it is mostly flat with a mixture of thick dense forests and lush sprawling grasslands. What few small towns once dotted these places are now mostly destroyed and abandoned, leaving them for the earth to reclaim. The only mountains are far to the south, raising straight from the ground like vicious fangs. They are rocky, sharp, and made mostly of shale, making climbing them nearly impossible. The Hell gates, where the demons enter and exit and human world, are set in the base of a mountain deep within the range, near the east pass. The only way through are the two passes, one in the east, and one in the west. Even still, these passes are dangerous as rock and mud slides are common. The one and only human city that still stands, called Orthae, is set on one of the very few hills. Atop the hill is the castle and the rest of the city drapes down the slopes around it, high and thick walls containing the city and keeping dangers out. Throughout the rest of the land, rivers rage from the tops of the Fang mountains, fill lakes that dot the landscape and eventually empty out into the ocean far to the east. On the far west, well past the last of the mountains is a thick and impassable, seemingly endless desert. It is a place so barren, that no rain ever falls, no plants ever grow, and no animal goes, unless it is to die.
The war finally kicks off at the gates of Orthae. The demons march for the great city, a large force of Husks and Underlings. Within the walls of the city is a gathering of all Orthae's soldiers. The courtyard is flooded with various soldiers and civilians, all eager to watch what's about to happen. A young man steps out onto the balcony with the King and Queen behind him, hoping to raise the morale of the fighters. This man is the leader of the Exalted and he assures that this kingdom will be lead to peace.
Natani stood beside her brother before all of the troops, most of them human, as he addressed them. Of course Natsu was not her blood brother. They had both been adopted by a human couple who could not have children of their own. They took in Natani as a child when she was found abandoned, and then took in Natsu a few years later, though he was one year older meaning he had lived on his own for a while. They had grown up together, with Natsu looking out for Natani because of how different she was. Many humans hated demons because of the war, while others were indifferent. Still, it caused Natani many problems, especially when her natural born abilities began to come in. Her unique abilities were rare in demons, making her special and dangerous. This meant that people feared her all the more, always sure that she was going to go on a killing spree and join her own kind. It was hurtful, but as a child there was nothing she could do to change their minds about her. it was not until she was older that she was able to show that she was not going to betray the humans she had grown with.
When she was old enough, she joined the human military, training harder than any of her human counterparts and working to master her abilities and put them to good use defending the city. She had become well liked and respected, gaining a few good ranks before she left to join her brother. She felt that his cause was good, well good enough and she was more than happy to be at his side when he created the only military that accepted all races. The Exalted. She was the second in command, not as strong as her brother, or as fast, but her abilities, when used properly, could easily take even him out. Being able to make acids and poisons into powders in her hair made it simple to contaminant food or water sources, as well as perfectly coat her special blade. She could also produce them in her saliva, making a liquid form that was far deadlier. However, what really set her apart, was that those powders and liquids that she could produce, could also be made to heal wounds and cure poisons. Many lives had been saved because of what she could do, and she was very proud.
Now, as she stood there beside Nastus, looking down at the men and women who were about to lay down their lives to protect their home, she wondered how many would need her, and how many she would never see again. This battle was going to be tragic, whether they won or lost, and Natani did her best to look stern, but optimistic. These troops needed to feel as though they would live, so that they could their hardest and die with honor. ╚════════════════════════════ Power: 6 Magic: 9 Speed: 7 Defense: 6
Kahli Stood miles from the city, standing on a cliff side overlooking the hordes of either army, two of her Phantoms stood on either side of her. With every breeze that shifter her gown she became like transparent like black shadowy smoke. Her eyes that burned like smoldering coals scanned the field that would host this battle and planned her attack. The Phantoms saw what she saw, heard her thoughts as their own, her will imprinting their mission to their minds. Without a word they left, one ran back the way she had come the other simply jumped from the cliff falling into the shadow it cast as if it had been water. A slight smile spread across her grey skin, it had been a while since she had been part of a battle of this scale.
She walked off the edge of the cliff and in a blur of shadow and the sound of cloth whipping in the wind she dashed side to side a few times and then was walking again as if she had simply taken a small step down. As she walked towards the hordes of demons she held her hands out palm up conjuring flames that she then sucked back into her body, a shimmer spread over her skin like when you blow on a burning coal quickly dimming back to the dull grey of her skin. It was easier to use fire in battle if she had it stored up rather then conjuring on the in the heat of the moment. With every lick of fire absorbed by her body Khali's eyes grew brighter. By the time she had reached the demonic ranks her skin had turned a darker shade of grey, almost black and her eyes shown like the fires of the hell she came from.
She spied one of her Phantom among the ranks as she slid through them, all her movements were as fluid as shadows shifting in moving light. The husks and underlings mostly avoided looking at her some openly stared other bowed and saluted as she passed. Though she barely saw them, they could have been shouting curses at her for all she cared, they were pawns in a bigger game.
