“A man who is master of himself can end a sorrow as easily as he can invent a pleasure. I don't want to be at the mercy of my emotions. I want to use them, to enjoy them, and to dominate them.”

Leon slowly let himself turn his attention back down to his own food but as he did, he noted that the memory seemed a bit more important to her. She started to go on about how back in her time, magic was something that brought other magic users together. That must have been fantastic, to actually have friends and learn magic like that. The thought only crossed his mind for a moment before he realized that even if that was the case, his grandfather never would have allowed it and the thought of friends actually made him cringe a little, people who wouldn't leave you alone and were constantly annoying or pestering.
She then went on to say that it was her first love that she found. To this, his body nor emotions changed, it was not that he didn't care it more over that he never really had a 'love' or 'loved'. His own parents weren't real but he found no problem in this as in most stories, love usually put more obstacles and hard paths in the way. He looked back up at her as she seemed...sad over talking about this. She spoke of revenge as her motive for the holy grail. This was something he would be a bit more happy about as a slow smile crossed his face as he looked at his food "I bet you could kill them really fast but your not, are you? Your going to take your time right? Freeze them bit by bit? Make them catch a cold for, like, Ever!"
