Welcome to Gaia! ::

Walking along the rocky path the young man shivered in a slight breeze that picked up his long golden hair blowing it into his face. Looking up into the horizon he saw no sign of the town just yet but he was not about to go back to the hell that awaited him at his "home".

Laughing bitterly he trudged onward, he hated everything about himself, everything that he was, from the elaborate and distincitve tattoos his body bore to the clear pupiless green eyes that surveyed the land. Oh yes, and his master, he hated that man with a burning passion, what his master referred to as training he called torture.....

But now he felt free, away from the hanging sickly sweet stench of death that hung over the place where he trained. Free from so many sleepless nights that he studied his master's art. Lost in a trance like state he comtinued down the path almost oblivious to everything around him.

((Yay, another roleplay, rules ae simple and pretty much the same as everywhere.
*You don't have to use a profile, just describe some basics (your character's looks, profession etc. etc.) in your first couple of posts.
*Please be spelling concious, (or as good as you can get it) also be good, no cybers and try not to swear too much.))
A young woman kneels besides a stream behind a local pub washing off her dirty face. Her blue eyes glissen as she stares into the water. The woman runs her index finger along the water feeling peacful and happy. The manager calls from the inside, " Hurry up, Ariesu! We need someone to run the bar!" The woman sighs and runs her fingers through her short dark blue hair then stands up to serve the customers at the bar counter.
((*tries to set a good example* sweatdrop ))
From somewhere far up in the trees vivid violet eyes watched as a bitter young man walked along the mountain path, the sun peeked out from the clouds as the wind stirred the leaves in the tree and a flash of sunlight dazzled across alabaster skin smoothy covered in some places by glossy black snake scales, her short untidy raven hair ruffled by the wind. Slitted pupils watched the boy who looked almost lost, sad, out of his head. Like he was wishing vainly to be elsewhere. Silently she followed him in the trees as the sun dipped back to hide behind the increasingly dark clouds. Yes it seemed that it would rain today, it was going to be a cold night for sure.

Annais was found roaming senselessly around the unfamiliar streets of the charred and broken down city that was once her home. Her cheeks were moist with tears and her hair was damp from the humidity in the air. She whimpered soflty before she looked around, falling down to her knees and looking at her surroundings with great discomfort. Her hands began to shake once more as she looked around, her eyes stinging with both exhaustion and tears. She turned her head this way and that, looking for somebody ... Anybody.

Her appearance was rather .. Disappointing, scrawny arms, very thin body with apparently no meat upon her bones. Her long raven hair with an assortment of abstractly braided in beads and bells reached down to her hips. Her deep azure eyes watched her surroundings as if she were terrified of what was to come. Her cloths were supposed to be black, but were so dirty, they appeared to be brown with the mud that she was caked in. And yet, another feature of her was, she seemed to be so young, but she wasn't for her eyes seemed to tell the story of her true age, almost unlimited.

She soon stood up stumbling out of the city and back down the narrow pathways of the forest, looking, hoping, praying to find someone or something to help her on her journey to find a new home. The cut upon her cheek slid open once more and sent a spiral of scarlet liquid flowing down, tears once more siding down her cheeks, mixing with the blood before she was able to find a place to rest, bringing her flask up to her lips and tilting her head back, allowing the water to flow into her mouth. Within moment she turned her head to the right and spat out the water, scowling at the flask and tipping it over to allow the liquid to drain out. Apparently the water had gone stagnant.

She began to feel desperate and a bit nervouse, not knowing where she was or if there was any place for her to be able to feed before she would be forced to take her rest.

Her home, her family.. Her life .. It had all been destroyed. She didn't know what to do, or where to turn. She hadn't anything except for her scythe. Her heart was crushed. Her mind, tortured beyond any belief. She wanted to cry. After all, she was merely 14 years of age. Her body was still not used to being alone, her mind not ready for the task. She soon whimpered and crumbled to the ground once more, hiding her face into her palms as she began to weep.
Aideki squatted atop a hill under alone tree, its branches bear and stretching up and out all over the sky. Her blood red eyes stared out from behind the black locks of her short hair. She was staring at a village not far in the distane, smoke arising from chimenies as little black dots, people, moved about doing their business.
Her face looked drawn from concious attention, holding no real emotion to show what she was thinking or feeling. A helmet sat atop her head, goggles strapped to the helmet. Her clothing looked worn, full of patches and desperate stitches.
Her two long pointy ears seemed to droop down almost, as if by thought. Her stature was small, yet not short, like was most common among elves. Her gloved hands hung between her legs as her arms lay across her knees.
*Resting from her long journey, a fair-skinned woman sat up on a low branch in a tree, swinging her legs back and forth allowing her dark green dress to flip and brown cloak to flip in the wind. Looking around she notices a decorated young man walking up the rocky path. Not knowing if he would be dafe or cruel like the others she had met in a village not to far away she climbed up to a higher branch and watched him with her deep grey eyes.*
*Before she couldn't see the village she was headed to but from this slightly higher vantage point she could see the begining of the town. She guestimated that the journey would not be long. Looking back down to see if the man was still near could no longer see him. Slowly she climbed down and began to walk down the path that led to her destination*
She continued to stare at the town in the distance, her eyes transfixed upon it and yet seemingly dulled, as if in deep thought. But her mind wasn't in deep thought... It only lingered into ideas for a few moments before drifting out again.
The clouds in the sky were gray, the air moist from condensation... Rain could be smelt hanging in the air... But Aideki's thoughts did not dwell on such things and she slowly blinked, her pale lips parting slightly.
Kicking a small stone as he went the man brushed some stray hair away from his face, he was becoming weary and hoped that the village would soon appear on the horizon. He had little gold, a hunting knife and an anthame, he could only hope that the villagers would be kind to him or at least not drive him away because of what he was.

Turning suddenly, he looked around, hearing a rustle in the grass and brush along the side of the path he caught a fleeting glimpse of deep purple eyes. Shaking his head and discounting it as a figment of his imagination he turned back to the path, eager to finish his journey.
