Peppermint
'Reiork!'

Peppermint was right on his tail as he went towards the forest. If he could just stop moving for a little bit, she could focus her magic on him. As of that moment, she was barely phasing him. Whatever it was that he was chasing, it had his full attention.

'He's going straight for the lumber camp' she thought, eyebrows crinkling in worry. But her eyes soon widened as they came upon a large wall created from branches of all things. She gasped and moved her hands out and started slowing herself down. No good. She was going to fast. She pressed her legs together and wrapped her arms around her body in a hug, straightening herself into a missile. Just as she'd thought, he broke a hole through the wall like it was nothing. She went flying through the hole behind him. Luckily suffering nothing more than tiny scratches.

Peppermint turned herself into a standing position and dug her heels into the ground, slowing herself down.

"Reiork stop!" she yelled, raised a hand to lift some of the workers into the air that he'd turned his attention towards. She pulled them over and behind her. She wanted to get his attention. Already, she was increasing the gravity around him. But someone shouted out her.

"Peppermint! Where is your leader?" LeeLee called over. Peppermint couldn't tell if she was angry or not. But she didn't care. LeeLee was over by her side instantly. "You are a mechanic, not a soldier. Go help the civilians since you are here"

Peppermint turned her head to briefly glare towards LeeLee, who returned the look with a blank expression. Peppermint didn't express much emotion, but she was like an open book at that moment. "I'm a mechanic. I fix things" Peppermint retorted.

"We will fix him. Go help the civilians" LeeLee said in a softer tone. She understood why Peppermint was behaving like that. She was still such a young spirited human. Peppermint stared at her for a few moments. Then, very reluctantly, she nodded and flew up into the air, pulling civilians out of reach and bringing them off to the side. Meanwhile, LeeLee crouched down and put her hands in the soil. Thorny vines sprouted from the ground, racing towards Reiork to try and grab him and hold him down.

"Justice! Protect me while I'm doing this" she ordered. Her back turned from the new problem. The voids that had followed the destruction were coming their way.

Dragon Form

┎━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ━━━━

Joey watched as Arc defended himself against his lightning. Joey watched as everyone dispatched from the roof to perform the duties he gave them. Now, he had only one thing to do. Take down Arc. Joey looked at the circle that was glowing purple, but he didn't take action. He couldn't rush in blindly and just try and stop Arc from doing whatever he was currently trying to do. Arc was a battle veteran and he needed to be treated as such. Joey then blinked when Arc began to speak to him and after his first sentence, Joey narrowed his eyes. "You've done nothing wrong? You're disturbing the peace of Sunrest and causing chaos. Chaos which will only produce Voids and cause more destruction..." he spoke, but continued to listen to Arc. Once again, his ancient race of mighty and fearsome creatures got reduced to being called simply lizards. While it didn't make him angry, it would be a lie to say that he was content with Arc lowering the dragon's race's to such a low reptilian life form.

Joey would begin to stare up at the demon that was being conjured. It had red flesh and it grew to about double his height, being about twelve feet tall. The demon was covered in purple flames. Joey listened to Arc explain that the demon he was currently looking at was a minor demon, meaning a demon which was quite powerful and wanted nothing but chaos. Arc suddenly flew up into the sky and Joey's eyes widened. "I'm not letting you get away!" he yelled and he tried running after him. He wouldn't get far, however, as the demon roared at Joey and then leaped at him. Joey would quickly jump back and he clapped his hands, forming a ball of lightning as he separated them. He then launched the ball forward at the demon before continuing to jump back, shooting lightning blasts from his hands towards the demon. He needed to take this demon down fast and chase after Arc.

Creed was scouting the area for more void when his sharp hearing picked up on aurora speaking into her headset. He would drop down silently and started walking over to her his handgun in hand while the rest of his weapons put away. The hunter had a very bad feeling when he looked at aurora and when she said they were being called back his sixth sense went into overdrive. Something was wrong and he could feel it in is gut. When aurora ran off he would swiftly follow suit. He stayed closely on aurora's tail until they got to the destination. There he could hear the sounds of destruction and the vibrations of something large running rampent. Whatever was causing chaos made it worse when he noticed a ton of void moving around towards the city while the rampent beast appeared and struck justice. The red giant did good in creeds eyes before creed himself took action. When he pulled out his phone and checked every message being passed around either to him or to team two he gritted his teeth. Arc was a dead demon and creed was not one you wanted as an enemy. He jumped onto a tree and spoke into his phone."Arc mark my words demon or not i will put you down....all of this destruction and your just enjoying it...." Creed put his handgun away and pulled out his shotgun and loaded in a few slugs and aimed at the beast. He shot a solid metal slug towards one of the beasts knees before he raced off to help the people escape. Creed would help as many as he could by himself before he reached into his jacket and pulled out a headset he had on him. He slipped it on and would press a button before speaking."Aurora find me some explosives with how many void are around i can only knock so many trees down to redirect them. From what i saw blowing them up seems to be a very good way of reducing the numbers" He would say before he pointed his shotgun and fired a few slugs into some of the smaller trees that blew up knocking some down to re direct them away from the panicked lunberjacks. Who knew such burly men could scream at such a high note and how some could act so girly.....Had creed seen this off duty he would of been laughing his rear off. Creed would pull out his phone and sent another message to arc."The VHA is stronger then you think nobody will die today so long as blood runs through my body." He would say into the phone before he got everyone out of the area. He knew this group was one of many so he went looking for more civillians in hopes he could get everyone out. He would periodicly send his cordinates to aurora while he calmed some of the civies down and got them to their cars or vehicles and on their way out of there. Creed would press on his headset and spoke into it."Justice if that creature comes at you try to knock it out."

When he heard Joey give out his team's orders, Seth's finger tensed on the trigger of his rifle, the crosshairs squarely on Arc's forehead. He tried to take steadying breaths, but he could barely contain his shaking with anger. Every fiber of his being wanted to blow that son-of-a-b***h Arc's head off. The demon had turned one of his fellow VHA against them, and set him loose on an entire city full on innocent people. He was clearly responsible for all this chaos, and now the Captain was telling him to leave him behind to fight him alone? I know Joey's a tough guy, but... I could take him out right now... He wrestled with himself. He heard Echo's voice on his headset. He had to decide, and quickly. His finger started to gently squeeze the trigger...

...but, ultimately, he didn't take the shot. Dammit. With a frustrated grunt, he unloaded his explosive magazine, putting it and the spare one back in his pocket. I hope you know what you're doing. He pressed the button on his headset and spoke to Echo. "On my way." He couldn't hide the anger in his voice, even if he wanted to. He pressed a button on his PDA, and sent a message to Captain Joey alone: "Make that b*****d suffer."

Seth got up from his prone position and ran back to the fire escape. The descent was much easier than the climb, as he slid down the stair railings and the ladder at the bottom. He ran to the curb, and waited for his pickup. As he waited, he grabbed a tranquilizer magazine and loaded it into his rifle. He didn't have time to wonder if Joey had made the right call or if Seth himself did. He had a beast to catch.

Seth didn't have to wait long as a blue, Dodge Charger, sped towards him. The car would skid to a halt directly in front of the white haired sniper. As he got inside, Russel took a moment to type in some things to the car. Once he heard the sound of the car door shutting, Russel would press one last button on the touch screen before him. "Hold on, everyone." was all the warning Russel gave as a loud hum sounded beneath the car which began to roll forward. The hum grew louder and louder, until the nitro kicked in.

As busy as the roads were, Russel shot through the traffic with ease, even if it meant using the sidewalk and going against traffic from time to time. Other cars and obstacles only appeared as a blur with Russel narrowly missing a collision. Thankfully, he had a great deal of natural driving skill along with his reckless personality.

It didn't take long until team one reached the forest. Just as Ralph and team two's golem came into view, Russel pulled over to the side of the road and came to a stop. They were just in time to see a few large trucks rushing away from the forest. Russel watched them for a moment before growling to himself. He was anxious to locate Peppermint as well as stop Ralph, but first he knew he had something else to take care of. Just like that, he was unconscious once again. His body laid back against the back of his chair, while his head slumped over to his right shoulder.

Through radio connections, Russel began to give the loggers directions on what roads were safe to travel. He directed them all away from the path Ralph took to reach the forest and led them toward the edge of the city. Once they were on their way to safety, Russel sent the message out across the radio waves to all enforcement of the city. Things were going to get worse. With that out of the way, Russel turned his sights to the teams in the area.

As Echo, he began to link himself to team two's PDAs as well as team three's as they entered the forest. He was relieved to see the location of Peppermint's PDA. She had to be alive if she was floating through the sky like that. Sho wasn't far off at all, while Charisma was a good ways away. All were accounted for, but one. Team three's Scout was no where to be found. Even after expanding his search. John's PDA was no where to be found in the city.

Placing John's whereabouts aside for now, Echo spoke to all three teams in the area. "Team one has arrived. My team is here to assist, while I map out void hot spots on your PDAs. You should be able to see them soon." Just as Echo finished speaking, Void of various shapes and sizes rushed past the car in the direction of Leelee and Justice who was quick to place himself like a defensive wall between the Void flood and LeeLee.

"Right!" Justice replied as he hurried to place himself between Leelee and the Voids that were rushing into the area. Justice could see a Dodge Charger pull over into the grass in the distance. The voice that sounded out from the PDA at his wrist only confirmed who it was. Team one had come to their aid.

The void were much harder to see directly, but anyone could see the tracks they left behind. Holes appearing through trees, grass vanishing from the ground, cars being moved/devoured by some unknown force. Justice took a step forward and let out a roar, with both arms outstretched from his body that quickly began to glow red. Anyone near him could feel the heat he put out, though he did his best to keep it in check. Leelee's orders were absolute. Protect her and don't start any fires.

As the Void rushed them, Justice reached over to lift a near by tree trunk that seemed twice as large as his body. The branches had already been hacked away by the loggers in the area. Taking a few steps forward before twisting his upper body and swinging his arms, Justice swung the giant club like a baseball bat in front of him. The satisfying feel of resistance as the trunk bashed through several Void told Justice his attack had hit it's mark.

Smaller void still managed to slip by and clung to the large fire golem. The familiar feel of the Void trying to absorb him into their being, came back to him, but this time Justice wasn't as afraid as he simply heated those areas of his body up more to roast the void in contact with his body.

After Justice made his first swing, he noticed an area in front of him where the ground was starting to disappear in an area large enough to create a ditch that could hold a small car inside. Using the base of the makeshift club, Justice slammed it downward into another Void. The force sent it bouncing backward a good ways along the ditch it had made for itself.

Nadia
As team four was getting situated in their new temporary home, both the team leader and vice captain got an alert at the same time. Nadia pulled out her PDA to read the alert. Her eyebrows furrowed.

"This ships gonna have to wait to set sail"

She said quietly. Having been in ear shot of the captain, he stated that they couldn't wait. They had shipments to get to places at a certain time. "Those shipment wont get there at all if the ship vanishes" Nadia said. Her calm tone and sweet voice caused the captain to freeze. He knew what she was. If the blue hair and ocean eyes didn't give him enough of a clue. He'd spent many years on the sea. He seemed to be the type who respected and admired mermaids. He wasn't about to argue with a pretty ocean las like her. Which was good, because he couldn't if he tried. A human like him would stand no chance.

"Leave your bags here everyone. We have an emergency to take care of back at HQ"

Nadia knew that their captain would be on the same track as her. She stepped to the edge of the boat where they replaced the ramp they'd just removed moments before. Loe followed after instantly. Her head seemed a bit taller, and she seemed almost relieved to be leaving that ship. Although, they would have to return.

'The VHA has many other soldiers to protect base...to be calling us back to aid them...' she thought as she walked towards the vehicle they'd originally left behind.

((too lazy to quote but yeah~ Team four is on the move!))

For quite some time, while the rest of the team were settling on board the ship, Milly had been leaning over the side of the ship for quite some time. One might take her for someone who was seasick, though her her legs hung low to the deck and kicked back and forth in a most child like manner. Her arms were folded up underneath her head which stared at the water for quite some time. Her long hair as black as the darkest night hung down over her hat which clung tightly to her head.

A sigh would leave Milly's small lips as she turned her head to look over at the shipping docks. She stared blankly for a moment, until her eyes suddenly shot wide. She could see herself there. Taller and with short hair, yet her horns were long and curled around in a most beautiful way. Her figure was that of a short yet well fit woman. She appeared happy and smiled brightly as she skipped along the docks squealing at all sorts of random sights.

A lady appeared next to her. A human dressed in clothing from the early 1600s would giggle softly as she followed behind the demon. Her lips would move to speak with no sound to be heard. At one point the two would face each other. The human woman would place a small envelope in the demon's hands and lean in to hug her neck. A smile was on her face, though it felt forced through desperate eyes. The demon stood frozen, with her mouth left ajar. Slowly her expression softened and would lovingly reach out to embrace the woman in a tight hug.

Suddenly, the image shifted as Milly appeared alone. Storm clouds rolled in over head while flashes of lightening lit up the ocean water which tossed and turned under a strong gust of wind. She waited with an expression of worry and dread washed over her form. A letter was in her hands which she kept at her chest with one hand while the other remained off to her right side. It wasn't long before a few winged figures flew in from above. Each one carried various weapons such as swords, axes, and bows and arrows.

Just as the demons charged the female demon, Milly quickly looked away and nearly flipped over the side of the boat and into the water below. She bit her lip hard enough to draw blood as she fought to rid herself of such memories. With her strength it was easy enough to push her self back up and onto the ship.

Not long after she did Nadia spoke up about how they were being pulled back to base. A very odd request. Did a behemoth of a void appear in VHA's backyard? Some how Milly knew it was something even worse than that. Someone much more cunning and dangerous was playing a game across the whole city. A powerful demon, Milly just had to meet. Quickly, she moved over to follow behind Loe as they left the ship behind for now.

"I don't like this..."
