x тнεяε exists a world that thrives parallel to ours. It is home to the Magics, people who are capable of harnessing and using the power of magic. This is thought to not exist in our world. The Magics look down on this world, but often send students to learn in schools to learn more about this companion world. It has become a right of passage for a young Magic to travel to the Non-magic world and study for a year. But something unexpected has begun to happen. The students have grown curious about the Non-magic world. Namely, love.

Love is forbidden in the Magic realm. The higher ups have condemned and claimed it as non-existent. They will deny and ridicule any who say otherwise, and have gone as far as imprisoning any who insist on its existence. They don't truly believe that love does not exist; on the contrary, they are fully aware of the mysterious emotion. Love is the strongest source of energy for magic, and those in power do not want anyone to wield insurmountable power. They risk students discovering love by sending them to the Non-magic world because they believe that the love in the Non-magic world fuels the magic in their world. They send students to study them and the effects of love on them. If a student becomes too unruly, however, the powers that be remove them from the Non-magic world and submits them to "recalibration". No one is quite sure what this consists of but no one has ever been seen after entering recalibration.

A small group of exchange Magic students decided to go rogue in the Non-magic world. They believe wholeheartedly that love exists and are willing to go to great lengths to prove it to everyone. They have cut ties with the Magic world for the time being, and are hiding out in an abandoned building. They attend a nearby high school, go to class and seem like all around normal kids. But they are being hunted, and it is only a matter of time before they give themselves away with a bout of accidental magic.
