Elrich Silvend
//
Personal Assassin Of The Royal Family
Location: The Northern warden’s quarters
Company: Himself
Thoughts: I bet she is enjoying her new life. All this power.
Night was approaching fast, the temperature dropping rapidly. A smile crossed Elrich’s face. It felt good to be home after several months of agonizing work. Well, guarding the royal family wasn’t too hard of a job. Wandering around the castle along side the prince or king or whomever it might have been for the day was a breeze. It was the contracts that were a real pain in the a**. Given the man’s ability, expierence, and whit, It seemed that the hardest challenges would fall upon him. Somehow, someone always had enough gold to see another’s life end abruptly. For Elrich it was no more than a way to live comfortably under the roof of a warm house as well as the ability to seek whatever pleasure he desired. As for today, it was the face of an old friend. Though this visit was more of a matter of business. Unfortunately, gold was not the payment for tonight, this was his choice. But what he lacked in his pocket, he would gain in wisdom, as well as a bit of easiness on his heart to know that Aniva was doing well.
As he entered the walls of the city he noticed not much had changed, as far as appearance goes at least. The brothel was lively as usual. People fighting and ranting over nonsense. It was how the common folk kept themselves amused. It worked well for those needing an army of workers to supply the kingdom with all the needs and wants of those said to be royal.
The blonde haired man slid through the darkness, past the recklessness of the drunkards and to the back wall of the castle. He scaled the stone wall easily until coming across one of the windows leading to the Warden’s quarters.
”You certainly have moved up in the world haven’t you, little girl?” The man spoke to himself. As he walked through the room, his hands ran across the beautiful jewels and gold decorating the walls. It was truly lavishing. A sign of power. As he made his way through a doorway, Elrich noticed something wrong, or was it? What seemed to be a meeting room had been demolished. Priceless paintings torn to pieces, beautiful sculptures crumbles in the floor, and a rather large stone table completely demolished. Elrich’s right hand ascended to his chin, rubbing it calmly. He knew this was the right place. The blonde haired man made his way back to the warden’s bedroom, dimming the candles, and sitting in a chair in the corner awaiting the arrival of his old friend.
