Corren Rune Dragomir
~Second Eldest Prince~
****************************************************************
Corren sighed as he rode the horse he was in no rush to make his horse go faster then it's counter as the slower he went the longer he was still a free man out of his soon to be wife's clutches. Though he could see and understand his fathers view with this strategic wedding. Not only would it end this war, but it would unite the other kingdom under his older brother and in a way expanding the dragon empire. On top of that but marrying all of his sons to the daughters of the kingdom would also hopefully reduce the amount of assassins on his older brother as if he passed with out a heir the next to inherit would be himself. As Corren himself was still married to a Caterali it would ensure both kingdoms still be united so on and so forth. Though Corren knew that there would still be assassins and radicals who opposed this and was thankful that his brothers were made of pretty tough metal.... metaphorically speaking.
Corren looked over to Autzen and sighed. "I see no reason to rush Autzen make them wait... I'm in no rushed to have the chains of marriage thrust upon me." Corren stated blandly. Corren was not a fan of unnecessary killing his youngest brothers murder still left a bitter taste in his mouth. Being one of the first to hold Autzen back when he lost it, Corren understood his brothers feeling all to well. Part of him wanted to hold his soon to be wife and sister in-laws responsible for Giovanni's death, but Corren's mind didn't let him forget that it was not necessarily their own hands that had killed his once vibrant little brother. It still did not stop Corren's own morose feelings of which he bottled within. He remembered his brother as an energetic little dragon and one who's over teaming curiosity got him into much trouble. Giovanni's smile was a contagious one that Corren would sorely miss.
Corren looked to his other brothers noting their grim expressions as none of them were looking forward to this fast union, and though he did not crave bloody revenge tot he same degree as he thought some of his brothers might it reminded him of how much he was the odd sheep within the family. Even his shifted form had feathered wings rather then the traditional webbed wings his brother all sported and his flame was not red but blue. Not to mention how white his other form was, Corren remembered his older brother and then his younger brothers all jumping in and teasing him about that when they were all much younger.
Corren bowed his head for a moment as they continued on, taking quiet solace in listening and focusing on the sounds of the horses hoof beats. When they arrived to their home he let out a sigh as he got off his horse and handed his horses rains and his ridding gloves as he had no cape to fuss over. Corren was well aware of how filthy he was but what did one expect when they rushed a union in this manner. he took a calming breath before he followed his brother's entrance in. Corren could feel the stairs and hear the chuckles as he strode over to where his future wife awaited. Corren then paused before the pedestal wordlessly scrutinizing the way his wife to be looked and presented herself. Once this was done Corren took a step up next to her and held his hand out flat to her not yet saying a word to her, A smile absent from his face.
