Some time after the failed attempt to lend aid to Regina and Zeke Calori, the Silver Spear would regroup and depart from the moon under the guise of a civilian transport. Shortly after its departure, several readings were picked up by the crew showing six unidentified AMU signatures, one hanging back from the rest. Moments later three more AMU readings would be noticed, as well as a much larger signature that likely belonged to an AMU carrier. To avoid being caught off-guard, the Spear would keep its weapons ready for deployment, tagging most of the signatures as potentially hostile, save one from the second group which was definitively marked as hostile. Even with weapons prepared, the ship would go about trying to maintain its guise before activating them fully. “I hope you guys are ready for another battle, because we just might be getting one, battle stations! Pilots, stand by for launch!”

Mi had installed Amara's new gun, along with the new AMU for Ves. Mi felt the first attack threw her teeth. She was right near the first attack. She braced herself as the ship was struck, and the thruster was hit. "What... The.... [********]!!!" Mi cursed, and held onto the grip as the ship was struck. "Who the hell just shot My Ship!" She yelled, and started to bark commands, and was running a diagnostic on what was damaged. They were all on high alert, and ready to react to anything, but it still sucked that the Spear was damaged. And that never made for a happy Mi. "One of the thrusters is damaged, and..." Mi said, and the ship shook again, but this time it was artillery that was struck. The smaller guns had been damaged, but not broken. Things were in the yellow, but nothing was red... Yet. "And some damage to the small guns, but they are still tracking." She said, and moved on.

Jamie took the full time at port to pop out of her funk. That was nearly two days, where she only did emergencies, or major calls, but there was only one. But she was not very chipper, and did not have much to say. It was in, done, and out. She only spoke to the Captain once during this time as well, to up date him on what was going on in the medical world. She went to the ships shrink, and was cleared for work. She did not sleep much during this time, but she was use to the lack of sleep anyway, it reminded her of her years in her internship. At the time of the high alert, Jamie was getting ready for her first shift. She immediately called everyone in that was on call, and those who had slept at least six hours, she pulled her hair up, and looked into the merrier. "Get over it." Jamie said to herself in the eye as she did. She pushed the memories to the back of her mind, knowing that people were going to depend on her. Closing her eyes, she counted to ten, giving herself time to let that notion set in, Jamie opened her eyes and felt clear. She could still remember but it was not in the fore front of her mind.

Almara and Moka had been waiting around, Almara still in her room while Moka was in the ship’s lounge again. As the orders to go on standby were given, they both quickly got to the locker room and into their pilot suits. Almara then headed to the Arios, waiting in the cockpit just in case they got the order to launch, Moka doing the same with the Gross Beil. As this happened the five AMUs would continue to close in on the Spear’s location before bringing their weapons to standby as they began to enter range. Three of the five headed around to the front of the ship to try and find the hangar bay in case AMUs deployed, while the other two moved for the rear. Time was counting down until they entered firing range…

Therian's White Tiger and the two pursuing Valkyrie MK-II Recons were still a little too far out to determine if they were readying their weapons. There was no doubt about it though that on their current course they were going to directly intercept the Silver Spear, which had begun to take preparations by converting itself into combat mode. It was ready for a fight as each member of the crew moved to their combat positions.

Ves arrived at the hangar last. Reading over the schematics for his new AMU had been a sizeable distraction for the boy. The original frame they were given by Geist had been outfitted with equipment from the deceased Regina Calori’s Gespenst at her suggestion, making a sort of lightweight hybrid AMU. The Spear watched the enemies as they prepared their strategy, moving to find the hangar bay. Over the hangar intercom, Captain Aires began issuing orders. “Almara, I think this is a good time to try out your new gun.” Almara looked up when she heard the captain and nodded slightly, looking over her new weapon for a moment before replying “..Understood, Captain..let’s hope this thing works..” she said. As she specialized in range, Almara was given the Gespenst's hyper beam rifle with the intention of providing surprise covering fire as the other two AMUs launched. Moka whistled slightly to herself as she hit a few switches and heard the Gross Beil start to come online. “Well this shouldn’t be too bad, right? Just a few of them versus three of us and a warship, sounds like fun.” she said with a slight smirk.

Almara readied the gun and moved to a proper a firing position, aiming carefully so she didn't risk hitting her allies as they launched. Her aim was also so she could more clearly hit anything waiting outside the hatch. At the same time Moka started the Gross Beil up and was ready to launch, putting one hand on the hilt of its massive sword so she could draw it as soon as she was in range.

The enemy units would then take off the safety. Entering range at last, they opened fire on Silver Spear itself, striking several exposed weapon systems and sensor arrays with a stream of beam shots before locating the hangar. The accuracy was somewhat surprising as they made solid hits for the most part. Definitely a cut above the average soldier. Upon finding the hangar, they immediately took position around it, careful to not cross the entrance and enter the line of sight of any inside it, but planning to shoot anyone trying to leave it. The two in the rear opened fire on the thrusters in an attempt to immobilize the ship and take it down before it could fight back.

The Spear had yet to fire when the thrusters began taking damage, unable to be defended at the moment. “I am launching now.” Ves announced as his new AMU, Haniel, shot straight out of the hangar door the moment it was open wide enough. Moving to the nearest enemy, he struck it with the buckler of the Gespenst, placed on Haniel's right shoulder and moved into the center of the enemy AMUs. His plan was to act as a vulnerable distraction and allow Almara to launch. Almara grimaced slightly when Ves launched and she realized what his plan was. “That’s really risky… even if his plan is to give us a clear launch window..” she said quietly. Finally, the Spear was in full combat mode. “Move them away from the Ship, we can’t hit them with missiles at this range.” Aires ordered calmly.

Walking into the Medical ward. Jamie issued orders, though the nurses knew their jobs, and they were ready. The doctors, and surgeons were gathering and she walked in and the room went quite. "I want everyone to hurry up and wait. You need to be ready for the normal, and the unexpected. You know the drill, we have done this a number of times, too many then I care to count. However. You need to be ready. We will take this in.." The ship was struck, and she luckily was balanced enough to not fall, or stumble. Two fell, and something fell. "Game time people. You know the drill get going. Looks like we are going to get wounded inbound." She said, and went to her station. Everyone scattered, and they did exactly that. Hurried up and waited.

Almara launched as soon as Ves' AMU was out of the way, not wasting any time and firing at the first enemy AMU that was in sight, trying to hit it in the cockpit to take it out quickly and trying to draw some fire away from Ves so he wouldn't take all of it himself. Shortly after Almara had launched, Moka launched as well, going straight to an enemy AMU and aiming a downward slash at it with her sword, trying to cut it in half and take it out in one move.

As the Spear’s AMUs launched, the first enemy AMU would take to immediately aiming for Ves, though it moved away from him as he tried to strike with the buckler, allowing him to end up exactly where he wanted. As if they already knew what they were doing, the AMU's changed targets, with Ves’ back exposed to it, the second one opened fire on him when Almara exited while the first to be attacked took aim at Almara, moving as if it could see Ves' action through the camera of the other two AMUs. The third AMU initially opened fire upon the weapon systems as they began to expose themselves. The first AMU, having trouble keeping up with dodging Almara and Ves' attacks, took minor damage to its left arm region as Moka launched, heading for the second AMU that was attacking Ves. The machine moved to closer to Moka as she attacked before strafing to the right and opening fire on her flank. The fourth AMU, one of the two in the rear, changed its target, moving up over the ship and beginning to open fire on the now exposed weapon systems while the fifth remained back, continuing to attack the thrusters.

Turning around, Ves used Haniel’s buckler to block the shots from the second AMU as it attacked Almara. Noticing something very odd, he commented. “I do not think these machines are manned...they move far too precisely.” Activating the thrusters in his AMU’s legs, Ves retreated from the first enemy AMU, positioning it between both he and Almara. From the buckler, the Alien boy drew one of his three beam sabers and closed in, attacking with close range slashes and trusting that Almara would definitely not to blow his head off. “Get some missiles on the enemies at range! Pilots, watch yourselves, I’m raising the antimatter drive!” The Captain warned. Noticing the White Tiger's attack on the fifth AMU that was attacking the Spear’s thrusters, he gave another order. “See that AMU that isn’t attacking us? Change its tag to neutral for now.” As the bunnies followed their orders, Aires created a comm line straight to the White Tiger, to Therian, and spoke. “Hey, you. Mind telling me exactly what you did to drag us into this battle? I’m not a huge fan of Earthlings causing trouble for us.”

Almara nodded in response to Ves as she launched several missiles and a beam shot at the first AMU “I’m not sure they’re manned either…. you’re right, their movements aren't right..” She said, being careful so as not to hit Ves as he started attacking it in close range. Moka quickly reversed thrust out of the way of the second AMU’s attack on her flank and took out a knife, making a quick stab with it at the AMU's rifle in order to disable it before bringing the sword around at the AMU's other arm.

The first AMU was able to more easily dodge Almara's attacks once Ves laid off on the assault to go for the second AMU. It was immediately informed by its comrades that the two were both returning to attack it. Dodging to the side of the beam shot and Ves' attack, the first AMU sped past Ves, just narrowly avoiding a slash from his AMU as it moved to put Ves between it and Almara, using him as a partial shield while it tried to shoot down the missiles. Detecting though that it wouldn't be able to defend against all of them as well as the continued attacks from both of the mechs, it activated its self-destruct and opened fire at Ves' cockpit. The second AMU, engaged by Moka would try to maintain the flank as she stabbed its gun. With this action, it had already determined that the weapon would be lost, allowing it to be stabbed as it then drew both of its beam sabers, using one to block the sword strike while the other slashed at the head of the Gross Beil. The third AMU turned from its attacks on the weapon systems and quickly took aim at Moka while she had her back turned to it. The fourth AMU, detecting it was locked onto by the Silver Spear, took evasive maneuvers and moved down closer to the ship, avoiding the majority of the missiles, but still taking some damage before turning back towards them as they turned around and quickly took them down with computer like precision before turning back to the weapon systems and returning to its attempts to disable them. The fifth AMU continued to work on targeting the Spear’s thrusters, though as it detected that they were heating up, it retreated to preserve itself. Because of the AMU’s focus on the thrusters it had a delayed reaction towards Therian's attack, losing a leg before turning to engage him.

Ves remained between the AMU and Almara, taking its attacks so that Almara wouldn't have to. Almara watched for a second before she noticed how the enemy AMU was acting and what it was doing and then quickly contacted Ves. “Ves, that AMU’s about to self destruct.. we need to stop it… otherwise it might kill us and damage the spear, if not destroy it..” she said to Ves over the line. Wordlessly, Ves activated the plasma thrusters in Haniel’s legs and charged forward shoulder-first as the enemy AMU’s core began glowing. Getting closer and closer to exploding, the AMU continued firing at Ves, several shots connecting at the legs, arms and torso of the boy’s light AMU. Quickly closing the distance between it and himself, though his light AMU would only be able to take so much damage from the beams, even with the buckler. Before the enemy could self destruct, Ves’ saber pierced the core, drawing a second slicer from the buckler, Ves removed the one already inside, then reinserted them both into the core, stabbing and stabbing until the core’s glow slowly dimmed. Falling back, Ves’ cameras flashed with static as some debris from the exploding AMU jolted his armor. “Target neutralized, continuing mission.” Once it was destroyed, he observed the battlefield carefully, seeing the other AMUs attacking the ship and Moka.

”Damage report.” Mi studied the damage to one of the main thruster, and now a few of the guns. Contacting the Good Captain again. "That thruster is not broken, but it is damaged. Still working I am helping direct power away from it, the others will be working overtime, but she can handle it." So to work she went. Barking off more orders, she rolled her sleeves up, and started to work on the internal workings. She did not want to go outside unless necessary but it might be something she would have to do. The very thought of having to go out.... Made her show a chill, her hair rose on the back of her neck, and she shivered.

Soon after, he was convinced that the machines were unmanned and relaying information to each other almost instantaneously, it seemed like they always knew where everything was. Without deploying some form of device to see it all for them, it was literally impossible. ”No person could have a field of vision covering this entire area in such proximity...and I have not seen any devices that would allow it. Nor could they react so quickly. These machines are definitely unmanned.” After watching how the mechs were acting Moka thought for a second. “Hm...attacking from the front won't do much good, try to get around them, hit them from where they can’t see.” She suggested.The second and third AMUs were focused on Moka, and the remaining two focused on the ship, Ves reactivated the thrusters in the legs of his AMU, dashing towards the back of the third AMU and slashing as soon as he was in range. He held the ignition as he quickly rolled to flank it, slashing two more times, then dashing around it again and slashing as he passed. After moving a short distance away, he dashed towards it again as the buckler released plasma vapor and he rammed towards it with the Gespenst Shoulder. Aires wasn’t too concerned with the weapons systems being attacked, as the Spear had a LOT of weapons in it, firing missiles again at the farther AMUs from both sides that were in range, including Therian, who had been tagged once more as hostile as he hadn't responded. The smaller machine guns of the spear fired on all of the hostile AMUs after a warning to the Mars pilots from the Captain. “We’re about to start shooting like madmen over here, be careful! And will someone please cover this goddamn thruster?!”

Almara narrowed her eyes slightly in annoyance when the AMU moved so it was using Ves as a shield and moved back to avoid the self destruct. After watching Ves’s action she sighed slightly, looking over his AMU from where she was for a second before talking “Ves, you holding up alright in there?...” She asked him, the slight sound of worry in her voice as she did so. Looking at the AMU that was trying to attack the ship’s weapons. “I am fine. Damage is an adequate sacrifice to protect my allies, is that correct, Moka?” He replied as Almara then fired off several shots at it with her rifle, aiming with surgical precision to avoid hitting the ship’s own weapons, moving away as the Spear's machine guns opened fire and changing her target to the AMU attacking the thruster. At the same time, Moka quickly brought her knife up to block the slash aimed at her head and activated her thrusters as she pushed with the sword and knife in an effort to overpower the other AMU before glancing at the one that had tried to shoot at her previously, only to get attacked by Ves. “C'mon you little pain.. let’s see if you’re dumb enough to try to overpower me!” Moka said.

The second AMU maintained the locked blades for a moment before using the momentum of Moka's attack as well as its greater speed to roll to the side of Moka and slash at the arms, attacking her flank. The third AMU moved backwards as Ves struck its back, narrowly dodging the second attack though still taking damage from the first. However, it continued to move away from Ves, aiming to remove itself from his attempts to flank it again, then turned to open fire on Almara while she focused on the fourth AMU. The fourth AMU in the meantime had switched targets after being notified of her incoming attack against it, dodging some of the initial fire before focusing on Ves. With Ves attacking the third AMU so viciously, he would be leaving his own flank open, which the fourth would try to take advantage of. It was a short-lived strategy as the Spear opened fire, forcing the fourth AMU to move away, though it was still closing the distance between itself and Almara as it noticed the Spear aimed to avoid hitting allies, effectively using her as a deterrent against the Spear’s attacks. Almara didn’t seem bothered by what it was trying, instead leveling her beam cannon at it as it approached and launched a powerful shot at it. Meanwhile, the fifth AMU detected the continued energy build up in the thruster and moved out of the way. The heat, which would have caused troubles for a pilot, didn't affect the systems of the autonomous AMU and it moved away enough to keep the actual frame from being damaged. Before its assault on the thrusters could continue though, it would be attacked once more by the White Tiger.

It looked like the unmanned AMUs had caught on to the Spear's firing patterns as one of them moved closer to Almara, where the missiles wouldn't go. The Captain scoffed at this. “They’re moving closer to you guys so we can’t fire out missiles at them. Not bad...prepare for close range combat!” The machine guns still continued firing on the other AMUs and the White Tiger however, and Ves continued his relentless assault on the third AMU, knocking its rifle away as it tried to fire on Almara instead of focusing on him. Wielding two of his sabers and continuing his rushdown-and-flank strategy with even more slashes, making sure to have his allies in view every few seconds in case they needed support like he did. “Requesting support. We can finish this one.”

Moka managed to raise the knife in time to block the slash at her side from the second AMU before quickly firing her thrusters to turn and face it, quickly feigning a jab with her knife before firing with the SPAZER in her mechs chest, trying to catch her opponents off guard and blow it to pieces. After doing that she quickly glanced at Ves to see how he was holding up and then headed over to assist him. “Heading over to give you a hand Ves,” she said.

Almara nodded when she was notified by the Captain about what the AMU was doing, moving to avoid the shots from the third AMU but taking a hit on one of her mech's legs before Ves was able to stop it from firing, not that it slowed her down as she saw the fourth AMU move to attack Ves while getting closer to her. Quickly firing a burst at it from the Arios' wrist-mounted beam gun, then drawing a beam saber and slashing at its arm while it was focused on Ves.

The second AMU moved to block the feint, though because of the time it had taken to defend, it was ill prepared for the SPAZER attack and as a result lost a leg and took some severe damage to the lower half of the mech. Immediately, the unit switched to the defensive, moving away from the Spear and Moka, though initially moving so that Moka would be between itself and the machine guns till it was out of range. Having been waiting for that exact moment, Aires gave the command to launch more missiles while the third and fourth AMUs used their visuals on each other to avoid their nearby pursuers while attacking their targets, the third not so much dodging as just running from Ves to prevent him from even getting a chance to use melee weapons while the fourth stayed close to Almara to prevent her from making full use of her range, taking damage as a result of her switching to melee. The third AMU was too slow to escape Ves’ high-speed AMU as he increased the output of his thrusters, impaling its shoulders from behind with his sabers and crossing them, holding it in place as Moka smirked. She charged at it with her knife, stabbing several times right at its core and being careful so as not to hit Ves on accident. “It’s gonna feel that in the morning, if it ever gets up.” she said with a smirk. Ves and Moka moved away as the AMU drifted off, deactivated. “It will not be able to ‘get up’, it is an A.I.” Ves responded, confused. “It’s an expression Ves, don’t worry about it,” Moka said with a slight laugh.

The fifth AMU had managed to avoid destruction up to this point. As it turned back to reassess the situation, the White Tiger could be seen rushing towards it, appearing from a dust cloud of debris from the missile remnants. Disarming the pilotless mech's beam saber, he would then go and grab its rifle arm, forcing it to face one of the pursuing Recons before any opened fire on him. The gunfire would damage and destroy one of the arms of the targeted Recon unit, though before letting go of the fifth AMU, he made sure to use it as a meat shield against the Spear's assault with the machine guns before it started to move out of range.

Quite simply, the AMU was lit up by the machine gun fire, exploding as it floated away from the man who used it as an improvised shield. With the destruction of the fifth AMU, the remaining two AMUs quickly fled at high speed, the fourth focusing on slowing down any pursuers with their rifles before reaching the AMU that hadn't engaged in combat. Almara quickly took aim at the other AMU, smirking slightly as she fired at it. “Not doing too bad so far..” she said quietly. The hyper beam shot and in an instant, tore through the second AMU, which was already very damaged. It made a slight dodge to the side, only losing an arm in the process as it continued to flee. The moment the fourth AMU made it to the last one that had never engaged, it was time to retreat. The last AMU had been standing by with two large rocket packs. Taking the chance, said AMU launched them for a quick escape. For any AMUs that tried to pursue them or even get in range to shoot the packs, they would fall under a barrage of high tracking missiles that would likely heavily damage any one of the AMUs present at the least. Once the two frames were ready, they took off into space, leaving the area.

Moka sighed in annoyance as she saw the missiles and backed off slightly “Too many missiles...yeah, not going to try to get past that.” she said. As the AMUs fled, Ves stopped his assault, being unable to pass the wall of missiles being launched according to Moka. The Spear stopped firing as well. Unsure what to do, Ves spoke. “What do we do now?” Immediately, Aires responded. “Hold your fire, whatever those were, let them go. We still have to deal with these Earth suits.” Once more, he tried to communicate with Therian on the off chance that the previous AMUs were jamming the link. “Last chance before we shoot you.” Knowing that she would have to deal with the guns in port, or after the battle, having the thruster working at One hundred percent was more important. So that is where Mi’s focus was.

Moka and Almara watched the AMUs leave as well, simply watching and not wanting to risk trying to get past the missiles before Almara glanced at the ship as she heard the Captain’s orders. “Roger that…hanging back Captain,” Almara said. Hanging near the ship, Moka watched Therian's AMU from where hers was floating, waiting just in case anything happened that she needed to deal with.

The flight from the Valkyrie MK-II Recons had gone from Earth well into space nearby the moon. So far he had been lucky to avoid most damage but Therian knew that running wouldn’t last forever here. After the assassination attempt it was likely that they wouldn’t stop hunting him anytime soon and there weren’t many places to actually hide in space when someone was hot on your tail.

It was only after a second set of AMUs made itself known and engaged the Silver Spear that Therian really noticed what was directly in front of him. He began to change course to go around to the rear of the Silver Spear to try to avoid the battleship altogether. Following in their pursuit of the White Tiger, the EF Recons would adjust their course to match Therian’s. It was as though they had a singular goal in mind and the Spear had nothing to do with it, unfortunately for Therian.

Activating a sensor sweep, he was baffled by these unmarked AMUs that were attacking the ship. The IFF could not determine anything and though it wasn’t necessarily his problem to deal with, he steered the White Tiger into a direct course for the Silver Spear with a sharp turn. Raising and arming the Dober gun, Therian fired a round at the unmarked AMU that was attacking the Silver Spear's thrusters. Almost immediately, a rifle beam zipped right by the White Tiger as the two Recons took the chance during this opening to engage Therian.

-“Hey, you. Mind telling me exactly what you did to drag us into this battle? I’m not a huge fan of Earthlings causing trouble for us.”-

Hearing Aires’ voice over the comm moments after his attack on that AMU, Therian was surprised that they had noticed his actions against the fifth AMU in the midst of the melee. Still, to be called out like that was probably better than just being targeted with the rest. It wasn’t like he had anything to do with the second set of AMUs either, the Recons were the only ones who had been in pursuit of him, or so he thought. So, to comply with who he assumed to be the Captain’s demands, Therian would start voice his response only for the comm line Aires had opened to turn to static. In the moment of distraction, the EF’s Valkyries had taken to jamming his communications. Unable to give his answer for the time being, Therian would continue to launch his attack on the aggressors whose focus were the Spear and its crew. Targeting the fifth of those AMUs again, Therian would then launch two short-range tracking missiles in its direction. With a sharp 180, he allowed his inertia to keep him on course for the Spear as he then launched the remaining four short-range missiles, two for each of the Recons that were still focused on him, before returning his focus to the unmarked AMU he had previously targeted.

With missiles fired, Therian would then close in on the fifth AMU that was continuing to target the Spear’s thrusters, using his rifle for a close shot that would then be deflected by the enemy’s saber. Therian was proving to be a successful deterrent from continuing its assault on the thrusters. As it was attacked by the Terran it would fall backward deliberately, forcing the White Tiger’s shots into straighter paths before sheathing its blade and shooting them down with inhuman precision. However this move would leave it more exposed as the missiles from the Spear fired from behind the AMU as the Tiger rushed it from the front. It was likely that the ship had taken to marking it as an enemy once more due to his jammed comm signals preventing any response. Closing the distance, that fifth AMU would then rush at Therian and the White Tiger, using its saber for close combat, though its goal was merely to outrun the Tiger and let Therian take the brunt of the missiles that the ship had fired at both of them, before turning as it sheathed its saber to shoot down any remaining missiles.

Spying the missiles that were headed right for him and the other, the unmarked AMU rushed at the White Tiger as Therian closed in he would try to evade the missiles headed in his direction, shooting a few himself while the other AMU would finish off a few of the others. He was lucky with most of the missiles either being shot down or missing but did end up taking damage to one of the White Tiger’s legs. All the while the two Valkyries were still in pursuit of Therian. One of the two had shot down both of its missiles while the other had only taken out one of theirs, resulting in damage to one of its legs as a result. As more of the Spear’s missiles closed in this time the Valkyries would both split to the sides as the distance closed, using evasive maneuvers to avoid most of the new barrage though it was impossible to avoid them all, resulting in additional damage to both Recon units.

Up to this point the unmanned AMU had been lucky in its tactics to avoid destruction. While it took a bit to reassess the changing situation on the battlefield Therian would rush it with the White Tiger once more, using the debris and dust from the Spear’s missile barrage as a cover while its attention was diverted. Having the upper hand, he would disarm the beam saber from the pilotless mech before reaching and taking firm hold of its rifle arm before it could fire upon him, forcing it now to face one of the pursuing Recons before they could open fire on him. As the gunfire commenced from the held AMU it would damage and destroy one of the targeted Recon’s arms, while at the same time acting as an effective shield against his pursuer’s attacks.

As if to compound the situation, the Spear would go on from using missiles to its machine guns as well, obviously keen on eliminating any threat to them and their crew, though some of the enemy had moved on to attempt close quarters with the ship’s pilots. These rounds, when paired with those of the Recons, would prove to be too much for the unmanned AMU in the White Tiger’s hands as it was destroyed, exploding as it floated away from the Terran and causing some damage to the Tiger in return.

With the destruction of the AMU Therian had been fighting the remainder of those unmarked, unmanned AMUs had opted to retreat, though one was taken out by a member of the ship’s crew before it could reach that safe distance. Now that those were out of the way, Therian still didn’t have time to waste by relaxing as there were still both of the EF’s Valkyrie MK-II Recons to deal with. Throughout this whole mess he’d still been dealing with the wounds he had taken back when he’d tried to end the situation with Cunningham. While in this time after the other AMUs destruction the Captain of the Silver Spear had gone to address him again, this one was unheard by Therian due to the jammed comm line being from the EF’s AMUs instead of those unmanned ones.

There was a brief pause in the battle, likely from the two Recons assessing their damage and chances before the attack on the White Tiger began anew. From what Therian could tell, the ship’s forces were a wild card that would either aid or attack him and he couldn’t tell which it would be quite yet.

After what seemed like an eternity between the White Tiger and the Recon Valkyries staring off into each other like a showdown, they finally made a move. The first to take action was one of the Valkyries firing two missiles at the White Tiger before both of them charged full speed ahead at the renegade EF officer. Not planning to dodge, Therian fired his thruster and headed straight for the missiles. Raising his primary weapon, he fired a round from his Dober gun at the first missile. The resulting explosion from the artillery round from hitting the first missile took out the second one. Keeping his forward charge, Therian disappeared into the dust cloud left by his shot. The first of the EF Recons slowed down while the other began to go around but no sooner when Therian entered the dust cloud, he came out the other side entering melee range of the closest EF Recon Valkyrie. Beam saber clashed between the White Tiger and first of the EF Recon. The second EF Recon changed course and intended to flank Therian.

Arming the next Dober gun round for proximity fuse, Therian fired it in the second Recon Valkyrie’s direction, but in doing this he had to hastily discard his beam saber allowing the first EF Recon AMU to get a slash across Therian’s left side leaving a painfully deep cut in the shoulder. Drawing his remaining beam saber, Therian resumed his confrontation with the first EF scout AMU while the second one was temporarily disoriented from the artillery round exploding near him, distorting his attack. The fight between the three EF Valkyries continue on with a swirl of beam blades, beam fires and vulcan streams drawing ever closer toward the Silver Spear.

But the toll of battle damage was evident amongst the three EF war machines. Their energy reserves, ammo and mental fortitude were on the very edge by that point. Discarding his last beam saber to arm his Dober gun, the Recon AMU he was locked in combat took the bait and charged to complete the final blow against Therian. But instead of firing the Dober gun like he did last time, Therian’s feint lured the Recon in before firing his thrust and crash into the EF scout. With the collision, the White Tiger lost its head not entirely able to avoid the first EF Recon’s blade attack. With metal locked in metal, Therian armed the grenades his AMU carried and allowed them to detonate between him and the AMU entangled in front of him.
The grenade shrapnel tore more armor off both AMUs exposing the internal machinery of both units. The shock to the EF pilot was made evident by his beam saber being disarmed. The White Tiger quickly grabbed the beam saber and shoved it into the center of the Earth Recon unit. Using the now lifeless AMU as a springboard, Therian jumped straight at the remaining Earth AMU resulting in another kamikaze maneuver. But there were no grenades to use this time as he had utilized all of it to deal with the previous opponent. He was too close to use his primary weapon and Therian mentally kicked himself for not pulling the beam saber out of the last Valkyrie’s lifeless body and reusing it. Though the Silver Spear was in his field of vision. “Sorry,” Therian mouthed the word before red lining his thrusters to full power.

What happened next might have seemed like a threat to Silver Spear but Therian kept on pushing both himself and the remaining Recon Valkyrie MK-II toward the battleship’s hulking armored hull. Fighting in defiance, the Recon EF AMU thrashed his beam saber about in an attempt to finish Therian off and end whatever the renegade officer had planned. Pieces of the White Tiger drifted into space as the two came ever closer to the battleship. But it finally ended with the Recon Earth warmachine crashing into the Silver Spear, crushed between the armor and the heavier modified Valkyrie MK-II. The fate of the Recon pilot was made evident by the crushed chest piece, a crushed cockpit. As for the White Tiger, it remained motionless since, most likely, its pilot had fallen unconscious. ”Welp, reel ‘im in, Moka. Let’s get him to medical, because we just got ourselves a good old-fashioned POW.”

GNSN Evening News Anchor

As the newscast began, instead of the familiar Miya the cameras would instead turn to a new face, who with a professional air to him wasted no time in delving into the broadcast. “Good evening and welcome to yet another special GNSN broadcast, where we aim to keep you up to date with all the latest news. I am Allen Wright. Miya Silvers is off on vacation.”

“Situations are continuing to develop in all walks of life about the solar system. Starting off with some Lunar news tonight: following Earth Federation Brigadier General Cunningham’s previous bold proclamation that Terran forces invade the moon, evacuations have gone underway to safely remove citizens of all factions from the moon. However the process has not been smooth as several spaceports have reported very hectic scenes as people rush to evacuate. As a reminder we urge viewers who are going through the evacuation to remain calm and orderly so that all steps of the process can proceed quickly. We also have learned of several incidents of fights taking place in the streets as well as one report of a young woman who was murdered in a private hangar. While there are no leads yet on this case Lunar authorities who are remaining during the impending invasion have stated that investigations are ongoing and declined further comment on the situation. If you have any information on this crime, please contact your local authorities or the tip line now showing on your screens. Once again though we would like to emphasize that our Lunar viewers remain calm during this chaotic and stressful time.”

Glancing down at his tablet upon the desk Allen would swipe to the next set of announcements before focusing on the camera again. This time his gaze had hardened slightly with the turn of events that he had to bring to the public. “Moving on we bring you more from the Earth Federation, where reports have it that there was an assassination attempt earlier on Brigadier General Cunningham. The suspect is still at large but is not believed to be a threat to the general populace and the Federation is currently investigating the circumstances of these events as well as searching for the suspect in question. Once more, if you know anything on this situation, please alert the local authorities or the tip line once more on your screens. In response to this aggression the Federation has issued new statements that they will be branching out against all other nations, and deployment of troops has already begun with several fleets. They have made extra mention that any more threats of aggression shall no longer be tolerated, citing specific threats to be had in each other nation, fueling tensions between them and the remainder of the system. I must now stress that this situation with the Federation is no longer limited to just the moon. Given the nature of this turn of events we ask that all our viewers in the affected nations to make preparations against potential conflict before it is too late.”

“We’ll be back with more news after a brief word from our sponsors.” With this the screens of televisions throughout the system would fade to black briefly, only to come up with a scene drastically different from the somber news that had been filling the airwaves. It was a resort scene complete with upbeat music to complete the vision.

~“Feeling tired? Stressed out? Need a break from it all? Then hop aboard a shuttle and come on down to Siesta Colony where it's fun fun fun in the sun sun sun~. All the time! Enjoy our lush sandy beaches, scenic mountain landscape and a bustling night life - there's something here for everyone. So when you’re looking to book a vacation this summer, look no further than SIESTA!”~

Following this there would be a few more brief advertisements before the screen once more cut to our anchor as Allen wasted no time in getting back to business. “Welcome back. Next is news regarding the Kingdom of Farrah where we’ve had a number of interesting developments take place. Earlier King Lelouch vi Farrah made stunned the nation when he announced the promotion of his knights to a new ranking that usurped the aristocracy that was long established. As a result there have been widespread reports from Farrah of rioting and upheaval in a move to protest this sudden announcement. We’ve been told that King Lelouch and the knights in question have been supposedly overthrown and are currently on the run, with possible sightings in 100 Worlds. There are no solid leads yet as this situation continues to develop, much like all other news in the system. Since King Lelouch’s departure from his throne the Kingdom of Farrah’s leadership has shifted to new hands most notably Ulther Nadael, leader of the Order of the Furthest Star and that the Kingdom will now be known as UNITY. Further details on this development are still coming out, so expect more updates in the near future.”

A long sip of water would follow the news of Farrah. While Allen didn’t show it for the most part, the escalation of tensions between all the nations was taxing on the news crew as much as it was the public. However it was a duty to bring forth the facts, no matter how unsavory. As the glass was set down he would then move on. “I now bring you today’s Rumor Mill, our popular collection of news tidbits that have yet to be verified but are worth looking at anyway. We received one interesting report in particular from a viewer that there had been talks between one Martian and one Federation ship, possibly about a prisoner exchange according to one unnamed source. As to whether these allegations are true or not remains to be seen. The supposed parties involved with the ships in question, the Silver Spear and Euphemia, declined interview at this time. Further reports also place the Martian Silver Spear at the moon in the midst of evacuations. We can only assume that they were taking on their own planet’s civilians and technology but will continue to look into whether these are pure rumor or fact.”

“Finally for our Rumor Mill, we received one last report, again in regards to the moon evacuations. This one of Alena Harrington, CEO of Harrington Corp who has been in the news quite a bit lately between the death of her father and supposed kidnapping en route back from Farrah. Supposedly she was witnessed evacuating the headquarters of her company in a rush with two men that we can only assume were bodyguards at this time. Requests for interview and further information have been denied thus far given the current situation on the moon though unofficial sources did confirm that she was to be evacuated with many of the company’s executives.”

“That concludes this evening's newscast. We here at GNSN will always strive to bring you the most accurate, up to date news that the solar system has to offer so that you too can be in the know so expect more reports to follow. This has been Allen Wright, signing off. Until next time.”

Moka whistled slightly to herself as she got out of the shower, having just gotten finished with some practice with her knives in the ships gym she needed a shower. Now feeling better, and alot cleaner and less sweaty, she checked for mail on her computer before changing into a clean change of clothes and putting on her jacket. "right, I wonder whats up for the day. With luck nothing else tries to get the jump on us for now right?" she said to herself with a smirk as she left her room. Looking around for a moment to see who was there before she started heading twords the cafeteria, half tempted to go to the bridge to ask the captain if anything was going on but she figured if he needed her he would contact her so she figured she'd get something to eat while she had the chance before anything happened.

= Dante Bellial =
Brigadier General of the Earth Federation

It had been approximately 24 hours since Dante and Gin returned to the Euphemia with Alena Harrington, having since left the CEO in Gin's care since they had a history together. After turning in his report on the mission to Cornelia, he was surprised that the general's sister was also on board after being rescue by Serafina and Scarlet. Thus, he had made his report brief and offered his sympathy to Elizabeth before leaving the two alone, with Cornelia putting Dante in charge of the ship for the time being. He was wearing his mask again, having put it on before docking with the ship.

It was now a new day and Dante was currently in his office, going over some reports from their various allies concerning Damian's plans and strategies which weren't very detailed. This came to little surprise since Dante knew the scumbag loved playing things close to the chest, and he was incredibly distrustful of others. With a sigh, the general set aside the reports and leaned back in his chair for a moment, allowing himself to briefly relax. Then Dante stood up and decided to finally speak with Elizabeth's rescuers, so he exited his quarters in search of them, having a feeling that they were in their quarters. When he arrived there, he was hesitant to disturb the two but he eventually knocked on the door and waited for a minute or two, in case either one wasn't there.

The past day or so had been a long one for Serafina. For the most part she was glad that they had made it through all they had with little issue, though it didn't quite seem to go as planned. She had a feeling that things would sort out eventually though, even with the chaos that all the worlds were facing. After they had returned with Elizabeth to the Euphemia, Cornelia had set her focus to her sister and understandably so. However this had left the two without having been through the proper debriefing, even if Sera didn't particularly mind that oversight. Since their return she had finally gotten to rest for a bit, which helped her shoulder though it still ached slightly from being on the mend and pushing herself a bit harder than she should have the day before.

Reclining atop her bed, the Lieutenant had her tablet on her lap. For the first time in ages she was able to catch up on current events, sighing at the news report that she had just been watching. From the sounds of it rest would probably be hard to come by for a while after this, so she was keen to take full advantage of the brief respite to heal. Of course Scarlet was sharing quarters with her since their return but no matter how much she wanted to avoid mentioning it, the other woman seemed a bit out of sorts after their separation from Therian. 'I can't say I'm not worried about him too, after that. He'd already been bloodied when he brought Elizabeth to us.' She wanted to be optimistic about the outcome, Therian had proven himself hardy up to now, so he had to be fine right? With that in mind she would look over to the redhead, breaking the silence that filled the room at present.

"Scarlet, you're not regretting my bringing us back here instead are you? Not that there's really much we could do to help..." Before she could finish out that thought, the knocking at the door to the quarters they were sharing interrupted. Setting aside her tablet she would be the first to move for the door. Upon opening it there would be a brief look of surprise in Serafina's face before she settled into one of her usual smiles that hid the fact that she was suddenly feeling rather under-dressed in the tank top and overalls she was in. Finally being back she'd planned to check on her AMU a little later without much need for uniform. As the surprise of the moment passed she would immediately straighten her posture as she gave him a salute, mentally wincing at how it felt to force her still-mending right shoulder into that move so quickly. "General Bellial. What can we do for you, sir?"

The only sound that filled the guest quarters was the television, volume turned down to where the words were only barely audible in the otherwise silent room. It was that sort of dull noise that she had almost become accustomed to as of late. At the most it was something for her. Something to fill the silence and keep her from being lost in her thoughts all the time. Though it didn't help the sadness and loss that she continually felt as of late. Gazing up at the ceiling Alena's hand would go to the kitten that was resting beside her. So far Misha had to be the one thing that was keeping her at least a little grounded into the present, though the CEO did still tend to get lost in her thoughts and feelings of what all had taken place.

Now that she was back on the Euphemia the amount she could likely do to occupy her time was decreased. Though with her present mental state actually doing something would probably be a bit of a stretch for her still. Plus being here now felt even more lonely than the last time, which didn't help. There were no Freya or Eve to keep her company, and she didn't know for certain if any of the others she knew from the EF were back there or not. Unable to help herself she would sigh audibly, gazing emptily at the ceiling as she spoke up. "What do we do now, Misha? Was it right to come here instead of with Kanna?" The small mew that followed her question wasn't really any response she could understand but at least she wasn't entirely alone.

Dr. Jamie O'Neill

"Thank God we are not the same, it would get boring."

User Image Mi helped open the hatch. It took a few other people plus a crane to lift it, and with Mi's guidance, it did not harm the pilot inside. Jamie was given the go head, and she got her nurses to assist her in lifting the man safely from the cockpit, and onto the hover cart. She ordered the start of IV fluids, and a blood transfusion. He was pale, wounded in several places, but she was not sure exactly the extent of his injuries until she got a better look at him. They rushed, and he coded on the way, and while in surgery he coded then as well. The man was dead for less then three minutes each time.

All in all, the three bullet wounds. Aside from the one that looked self inflicted, there were two others. One in his thigh, and the other in his shoulder. The Pilot also had two very impressive lacerations that looked to of been sword inflicted. They both were deep, one was in his abdomen, the other along his forearm. He would of lost function in his hand if she did not reattach the tendons, and muscles at this point in time. Time was a factor in those, and it would of been the end of his piloting career. Granted... He was a POW at this time, so it could be over anyway. The Pilot also suffered from a pretty nasty concussion. She made sure that he was on decent steroids to avoid his brain from swelling. She also found a few broken ribs they felt fresh, and had scanned that way as well.

Total surgery time was six hours, thirty some minutes, and whatever seconds. Jamie wrote it all down, so it was charted. She never once left the man's side, and was reviewing his chart waiting for him to wake up. The blood loss, and the near death experience does that to a person. Jamie made herself busy as she waited. He was now downed in scrubs, or simple hospital garb, his clothing had been destroyed when they cut it from his body. Looking at the scanned pictures of his ribs, Jamie wrote down her findings, and felt herself starting to nod off. Not sleeping pretty much since she had been back was a major reason for that, so she nodded off. Two guards remained by her door, it was left open, and another was standing just out of the way encase they needed to do anything more to help him.

The guard noticed that Jamie fell asleep, and placed a small blanket over her. Knowing that she would not want to be moved from the room.

As the soon as the door opened, Dante was greeted by Serafina as she saluted him even though he noticed some discomfort while doing so. He saluted her as well and looked past her towards Scarlet before returning his attention back to Serafina, "At ease, Sergeant. This is merely social visit. I wanted to see how you have been since you were last on board." His words would most likely come as a shock to her since Dante was never one for small talk, being as professional as he usually was. But here he was asking her how she was doing nonetheless, "I also wished to extend my thanks for rescuing Elizabeth. Although, perhaps we can do this another time if you would prefer. You should also get that shoulder looked at while you are here."

Enjoy our lush sandy beaches, scenic mountain landscape and a bustling night life - there's something here for everyone. So when you’re looking to book a vacation this summer, look no further than SIESTA!”~ chimed the audio system in Ash's Room as some soft electro music began playing, the local radio being his Alarm clock as the One Eyed Mercenary slowly grumbled awake. "Go to hell, it's too damn early for this..." he complained as he curled up under his covers, his head feeling like it had been stomped on by an AMU.

The night before had been 'interesting' to say the least...ok well what he could remember anyway. After the fun and sun on the beach Everyone had started splitting up and doing their own thing for the night. Ash himself started bar hopping, Starting at Machine Gun Molly's and cruising around till he got to a club called 'Enlightenment'...or was it 'Outer Heaven'? Maybe 'Serenity'?` Honestly he couldn't remember at this point, or if he ended up hooking up with that sexy redhead he met there...or was she a Brunette? Actually her hair might of been a turquoise color too...or maybe that was just the club lights? "Uuuhhhhh this has to stop!" He groaned into his pillow when he realized his clothes were missing, and he didn't remember taking them off. Or getting back to the hotel for that matter.

Begrudgingly sitting up Ash sat up and rubbed his good eye as he used his other hand to balance himself, the world still spinning pretty badly as he looked around the dimly lit room. It was his penthouse alright, and strewn on the floor were his clothes..and were those someone else's too? Trying to focus on it the spinning room made him start feeling sick as he shook his head and gave up trying to figure out if it those were another persons clothes. Looking over to the other side of his bed though was a jumbled mass of covers, possibly in the shape of another person but with how bad his vision was and with the dim blue lights he couldn't tell anymore if it was nothing or an actual person. So in the classiest fashion of all he decided to find out....by lightly poking it. He figured if it moved he could find out if in fact it was that beautiful women from the night before or just a jumbled mass of covers. Either way the amount of care in his system was at an all time low with this hang over, though one could only hope it was a woman.

As Ash would start to poke the bed sheets, there would be some movement underneath as someone squirmed beneath the covers. A gentle feminine moan of sorts briefly being heard before the movement settled down and eventually the covers parted to at first reveal a certain white haired female who was clinging to another certain redheaded woman. Though at first Ash likely wouldn't recognizement, partually due to his heavy hang over as well as their severe lack of clothing. The one who moved the covers though, just enough to reveal their heads and shoulders was the white haired female. "Mmmm... what is it?..." She asked, though Ash was hung over, he'd likely recognize her voice as being Freya. After figuring out that much, he'd likely be able to figure out that the red head was the woman named Taryn they had met the other day. Staring at the male a moment, the female puffed her cheeks a bit before speaking up again. "Are you still hung over? Jeez, you had too much to drink..." She said before turning her head back to Taryn and pressing her face against the other woman's shoulder as if seeking comfort in the other woman's presence. Though she did this, she knew that Taryn had probably had just as much as Ash had to drink, and she had been the only one that hadn't taken part in the 'activities' of last night. Though part of that was because she was still a bit distraught over Richard's leaving.

After all the fun in the sun, some mean looking men half dragged Richard away, she later found out that they were part of the Martian Military and they needed him to return to Mars right then and there and as such wouldn't accept no for an answer nor could she go with him. This hurt the female greatly as she did have feelings for the male, though she felt it was wrong over her to have such emotions towards him. As such, she felt more comfortable being with others she knew than being alone, even if they were drunk off their horses.

Terran Therian Barton

General Location: On a space faring ship
Company: A Doctor and two guards
Outfit: Federation Special Forces Armor
Action: Wondering where he is

Opening his eyes, Therian looked up into the source of the illumination from the ceiling. The first thing he was concerned about was his whereabouts. As he went to sit up, he found himself he had been restrained. Shifting his head, Therian absorbed his surroundings with his good eye and concluded that he would not be going anywhere soon. A doctor in slumber was beside his bed and it looked to be two guards just right outside of this room. Challenging the straps that imprisoned him, Therian gave the restraining devices a forceful tug but the straps gave no ground. Instead, the punishment that had been inflicted to his body plus the ER he just went through finally caught up to him in an uncomfortable dull pain. Deciding movement was the least of his interest, Therian relaxed back into the bed he was bound too.

Closing his eyes again, the former Colonel replayed the scenario that lead to this current situation. After delivering Elizabeth, Cornelia's sister, to his sisters in arms, Therian had took cover in the scores of EF soldiers for cover until he could slip back into the Thames river just right outside of the palace. At least that was the plan if it wasn't for the pair of EF special operations commandos picking up on his trail and nearly taking his head off, and that was no exaggeration. Two two combat operatives were the cause of his additional bullet and blade wounds. It didn't help that they had the advantage of wearing powered armor while Therian himself had just standard body armor he had commandeered. On top of that, Therian had already been injured.

Even after managing to escape from the combat specialists, it wasn't long before they caught up in the form of AMUs. The same two Recon Valkyrie Mk. II the Silver Spear had witnessed the White Tiger fighting against were piloted by the same two commandos he had engaged in hand to hand combat with. There wasn't much he could do against his pursuers in his former physical condition. That was when fortune gave him a chance with the sheer coincidence of a Martian warship coming across his path. Had the Martian warship not been there, Therian would be forced to confront his pursuers or die from lack of food or life support. With the additional presence of unmarked AMU fighting against the battleship, that created just enough chaos in the combat zone to negotiate against EF Recon AMUs. And finally, the collision that concluded his battle with the experienced commandos and knocking the lights out of Therian.

The air wasn't dry but each breath stung from having been without the consumption of water for quite some time. Another breath caused Therian to involuntary cough loudly as if his throat and mouth was parched like mid day dune. "Apologies, Therian would say dryly if he had awaken the doctor with his coughing.

"Thank God we are not the same, it would get boring."

User Image Jamie at first did not wake. Then she did but it was one eye at a time. She sized him up, taking a mental note of his cough, and blinked both eyes shut hard. She reached up, and rubbed her eyes lightly, and sat up straight. She took his vitals by reading them threw her device, and also touching his wrist, and feeling for his pulse. "Sorry that you are in pain. I will see to that. Sorry about the restraints. It seems that you are considered a POW." She shrugged. Therian was hooked up to a few IV lines.

"I am Doctor Jamie O'Neill. Now. I am going to call for a guard to remove the retrains. From what I heard you did for the Spear. I am going to make a judge of character here, and say that I, and my fellow ship mates are going to be safe. If you harm one hair on them. You will be detained, forcefully, and I will not give you any pain relief when that time comes for me to patch you up for a trail." She said matter of factually, but did not look threatening. Her eyes were that red color from mars, yet her skin suggested that she was from earth. She had mix parenting, that was very clear. Not something easy, but she seemed to handle herself well.

Jamie obviously cared for her crew, yes it was a threat, but again. It was how she said it that mattered. Jamie called in one of the guards. The guard walked in. "I am going to ask you to remove the restraints. I am unable to preform my duties as his doctor. Please inform the Captain that our patient is awake, and may be questioned, but first. I am going to do a full work up. I am sure he also has a few questions of his own, so could you please?" Jamie asked, and the man nodded to her. "Will do Doc. Let us know if you need anything." The guard replied, and looked at the man in the bed with hard eyes. It was clear that the guard did not want to remove the restrains and not only that, but leave Jamie alone in here with him. Jamie handed him his eye patch, knowing he would want it back.

She knew Aires would have something to say about it if she was someone else, but was head of medical, and clearly had a job to do. Once the restrains were removed, Jamie walked over, and filled a cup of water, and a small judge. She then handed him the cup. "I will turn up the moisture in the room. It might help your cough. You have been threw a lot to get here. Either it be by chance, or something else. You were under my care for over six hours, I am sure you know about the list of injuries. It seems that you are not a stranger to them?.."

"Please lean forward Mr. Barton." She said using his last name. "That is all that I know about you at this time. And what we checked on you medically. We did a full scan when you were brought in. I could not let you infect my crew with anything could I." Jamie said, and ran the scanner over his back checking his lung and heart function. It beeped, and she nodded. Then she check the work she did, each suture line was healing nicely, in fact they looked nearly healed. "You have a few broken ribs that I am sure you know about. They will take a bit longer to heal. We have sped up the healing process, you might be in a bit of pain from that, but I can boost your pain medication if needed?" She said, and stepped away from him.

Mi Ray Blystone

"Mad Eye Mi" - Well?... Don't that just beet all?.

Mi could not believe that someone was still alive in the over sized squished tin can. She drew a team together, and with the doctors instruction they made sure that they did not harm the pilot inside. Mi looked like a surgeon herself as she cut, pulled, and pried her way into the machine with the help of everyone else, and a crane operator. Several minutes of cursing and yelling, they were able to get the pilot out of there.

Mi then had a mess to clean up. The AMU had seen much better days, but there was still something she could do, to resurrect it back to life. It was going to get creative, and it would never be the same machine again, however... It would work, it might even be an improvement. It will all depend on the resources that she could pump into it, and if Aires would allow her to do so.

The pilot was removed after a series of tests, and her attention went to cleaning up, and fixing up. "How is that thruster coming along people? Also get a probe out side, and look at the damage to the hull, and the guns." She asked, and got the affirmative that it was going to be fixed and ready for her inspection within an hour.

She relayed that information to the Captain, then started her work. She got a call back about fifteen minutes later regarding the guns. There was damage to some of the smaller ones, but the drone could get right on it. Giving the go ahead after checking the damage out via the video feed, Mi asked for an inspection once the job was completed.

Mi found the 'black box', and sent it to the nerd herd, and they went right to decryption. ((How much they find Thrie, is up to you.)). She then looked to the AMU. She wanted to start working on it, but she had to wait for the Captain's 'go ahead..' So she sent her report, along with her request. She really wanted to have a challenge. And this was going to be it.

"Death howls at the gates again, but I can't greet you. I have things yet left to do. I have a war to win. " - R.S. Hemingway
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hemingway sighed as a few of his boys entered the lab, one called out lifting the smoldered remains of an AMU black box, saying, "Director Hemingway! Doctor O'Neil has finished surgery on the Terran and Ms. Blystone gave us the black box, but it looks like hell. What should we do?"
Hemingway gave him a glare of disbelief. A ******** fed, on the spear? And they did surgery. That ******** deserved to have his legs broken too, not receive aid. " James, why do you even have to ask? Look into the black box, and find what you can, Jesus son, how did you make it off of Mars? Hurry now, shoo." Hemingway turned and headed out of the lab, headed right for the Captain's quarters. As the naval crew passed him, they knew better than to address Hemingway unless they had to. His tongue was sharp like a razor, and his rank high enough to get away with it to everyone except Captain Aires, and enough history with him. He also had some questions to ask about the battle they had just been through.
When he arrived at the Captain's Quarters he didn't bother knocking he just let himself in. Fortunately Aires wasn't up to anything compromising, at least, at the moment. He barged in with a scowl on his face, aiming it right at Aires. " Jesus, Aires, a Terran on board? Really? What are we running a damn nursery here? Put a bullet in his a** and be done with him. Oh, and what the hell was that in the battle? Pretending to be a civilian cruiser? A show of force would have served you better. From the looks of it those AMUs were unmanned, a few zaps from our cannons? That battle would have been a joke, and your thruster wouldn't be damaged. How'd you get behind the wheel of a ship like this Aires, Jesus, I bet you couldn't drive a forklift." Hemingway waited for the equally sharp response that was surely coming. After the captain had spoken his piece Hemingway replied, this time in a more down to business tone than antagonistic.
" Seriously though, Aires. What good reason do you have for letting the Fed live? Let alone give him a ******** surgery? After everything the Feds have put us through? Your parents? My family? ********. I know, I know, don't tell me, a POW, but did we have to operate on the sumbitch?And that attack? What was that all about? What's your play Aires?"
Hemingway sighed, finishing up his miniature rant and sitting down in a chair opposite of Aires. Boy things sure were getting eventful 'round these parts.
