Faena gladly took the tonic from Rowyn. She than transferred it to the pile in front of her. She figured it would help the stranger considerably. She squinted trying to read his name. 'Jun,' it read. She thought it was a nice name. Her train of thought was broken at Rowyn's rather blunt statement. She shot him a withering look. She couldn't believe he would be so cold. Even with the tonic and health potions Jun was in no shape to travel alone. Especially toward Coravan. Most of the PKers resided there, since the city's nickname was the Kingdom of Thieves.

She was about to protest when she heard what Jun offered, but his next statement made her relax. She was glad to hear that Rowyn agreed to his staying within their loose party. Even if it was reluctantly. She was a bit taken aback by how tall Jun was. She even made Rowyn seem small. She stood up as well, her hands brushing off the sand and dust that stuck to her shins, being careful not to brush them down into her boots.

However Jun's next sentence made her blood run cold. She had been too busy seeing to Jun's injuries that she was not keeping track of her surroundings. She searched for the presence, and found that it was close by and coming from Coravan. "I really hope its not those thieves again," She muttered, trying to calm her nerves. "They were oddly persistent and I am in no mood to deal with them right now." While the tonic she had taken to heal herself had affect on her HP and stamina, she was still relatively low in comparison to Rowyn. Her tome would give her some distance from the possible approaching opponent, but that ground could be covered if it was a thief or other fighting units.

Rowyn's curse also told her that he had been thinking the same thing. She hated being a burden on him, and wished that she could show him that she didn't need his protection anymore. She frowned, but then settled beside Rowyn, she pulled up her inventory and selected her Thunder tome. It appeared and she quickly tucked it under her left arm. "I got your back," She said firmly, leaving no room for negotiation. She cast a glance back toward Jun. "Can you cover us?" She asked, not sure if Jun would take this time to leave after he had gotten what he needed from them or if the poison made it hard for him to fight. But with the presence of his staff and cloak, she briefly thought that he was confident enough to engage in battle if he wished.

Kira is drinking her day away with some of the others when she overhears a loud conversation, she looks over and sees a female knight talking to a group at a table. The female Knight looks familiar, she has very nice armor, short hair and different colored eyes. Kira watches her closely could that be Arisas character, surely not Kira chuckles and goes back to drinking. Suddenly the female Knight says a word and Kira jumps up, the female Knight says “its a simple as blood and wine”. Kira can not believe her ears this knight has to be Arisa, that phrase is something they used instead of “a piece of cake”, Kira gets ready to rush over but then stops herself. Kira how ever has made this mistake many times before and ended up harassing defenseless players, but that phrase no one else knows that. Kira finally gets up the courage to go talk to her, that was until Bodam the Brave another Mercenary grabs her by the waist and spins her around and around dancing.

"You drunken fool let me go!” Kira protests, Bodam ignores her still holds her and with his other hand downs another drink.

By the time Kira is able to pull herself free and pommels Bodam The Knight and the others at the table are gone, Kira fumes and turns back around and kicks Bodam who is lying on the floor laughing having a good drunken time. Kira rushes out the door and looks around wildly, they were just here they couldn't have gone very far. Just then she sees a glimpse of the Knight turning a corner, Kira calms herself and slowly follows them. Kira is still on guard about this Knight but it has to be her, soon she finds the Knight she sees her with a man who is sleeping on Midas gate. The Knight seems to be bored and has decided to polish her swords this makes Kira chuckle.

Kira walks up to the Knight and smiles "You know whats goes best with polishing weapons and guitars?.....Pocky” Kira says and gives a super cheesy smile. The Knight looks up at me shocked, she sets her stuff down and walks over and starts examining Kira. The Knight walks all around her then leans in close to Kira’s face, “Hotaru?” she whispers. Kira cant hold her excitement in and throws her arms around Arisa.

“YES ITS ME” she all but cries and kisses Arisa’s cheek, “I've missed you I've been so worried I look EVERYWHERE for you, I am so happy you are alive. OH your character is so sexy and strong wow have I missed you!” Kira practically yells as she rambles on.

Rowyn released a soft 'tsk' at Faena's statement. "I don't think its your old friends," Rowyn stated, his eyes focused on the direction in which the approaching party was traveling from. He figured they would have less then five minutes until they were in sight. The dried plains did not provide cover, and he knew they could not afford the risk to backtrack into the forest and bogs of Kestrel. Even if it would provide shelter and cover. "They are coming from the forest. A small party from what I can gather."

He tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword as he tried to focus more on the approaching danger. He was uncertain if it was a two high level players or more. The breeze brought the sound of a soft neigh to his ears. He immediately knew that one of the units had a beast. Kestrel's forest was not too kind to mounted units, due to its sheer density of trees and debris scattered across the forest floor. Thick mud and vast bogs also made the land of Kestrel difficult to navigate on foot, let alone on horseback. This would slow the party down considerably, however since they were near the clearing, the player could once again return to his mounted position upon setting foot upon the dried plains. Which meant that he would gain more speed and agility.

"Looks like we have a mounted player." He disclosed to his two make-shift party members. While he was not willing to put his full faith and trust into the mage behind him, he at least hoped the man would not abandon them. Rowyn was confident in his abilities, however his fighting style did make him the best protective unit. Faena could attack with a great deal of distance, he could not. He did not want to leave her side, she was in a sheer disadvantage, along with the mage.

A few yard away he could see movement along the forest's border. The party was emerging. Immediately he spotted a bowman, the tell-tale quiver on the man's back dictated that he was either an archer or an assassin. The next to step from the shadow's was a slim woman. She too had a quiver, but strapped to her side. Two heavily armored units followed, a man with an large axe, and a male Knight with a lance, his stead trailing behind him. Rowyn briefly hoped that the group would move past them. But his hopes were dashed, when the female of the party alerted the group to their presence.

The unmistakable pointing toward their direction, and sudden perkiness of the party in response to the discovery told Rowyn all he needed to know. The group was a hoard of PKers. 'Just our luck,' he thought bitterly. 'Only people out for blood would be so happy to see a group of players outside of safe zones.'

Rowyn descended into a low crouch, his sword settling in front of him. He watched as the Knight quickly mounted his horse, and the two archers drew their bows. He took in a deep breath to soothe and held it for the count of ten. He released it just as two arrows were shot in his 'party's' direction. The arrows arched gracefully in the sky, and Rowyn briefly wondered what the purpose was for such an action.

He smirked when he saw the knight following the arrows, the mercenary following close behind. 'What a pitiful distraction,' He thought, as he trained his eyes on the mercenary. His bright blue eyes flashed with his hardened resolve. "Brace yourselves," He said as he raised his sword up to his shoulder. His body twisted slightly, as his right foot slid forward. His right shoulder in line with the approaching enemies. His eyes stared down the edge of his blade, and at his chosen target.

                                                                  He began to count down.

                                                                  Five.

The plains had seemed to fall silent. The air still. The sound of thundering hooves filled his ears.

                                                                  Four.

A sharp battle cry from the mercenary. His muscles tensed. His grip hard on the hilt. The round edge digging into his palm.

                                                                  Three.

Another deep breath. He can feel the vibrations of the earth. They are getting closer. Just a few more seconds.

                                                                  Two.

He holds his breath. His eyes focused. A frown on his lips. The mercenary raises his axe. The knight, his lance.

A sly grin breaks across his face, as he finds his mark. Exhale.

                                                                  ONE!

Jun watched the edge of the woods carefully, equipping 'Hawk Eyes' to get a better look up ahead of what they would be dealing with. Two players carried metal weapons, while the other two had bows. There was an animal amongst them, but there didn’t appear to be a tamer from the looks of it, which only gave one other option. Where the archers would help them from a distance, it didn’t appear they had a tactician or mage with them, which played in their favor. It always depended on the player and their preferred choice, but long ranged players such as archers and mages were attacked first, that was if the enemy could get past the front lines. It was lucky for that other group they didn’t have a mage, for if he knew them, Jun wouldn't let them off easy. Healers were difficult to get to as they were always in the back, but they would have been the next target or else battle would rage on for far too long of a time.

Jun nodded in the girl’s direction. Taking a moment to glance at the info hovering above her, he took in her level and name…Faena. They had taken the time to help him, so he had no intention of just leaving them here like this. Even if Rowyn was at a good enough level, even he couldn’t take on four players at once. Jun wasn’t aware of what the two were capable of, but Faena’s level seemed rather low. There was the possibility that she had switched classes like many tend to do, but he had no knowledge of her past class. Grabbing the hood of his cloak, Jun pulled it over his head, disappearing completely. They were already at a disadvantage at three to four, so he if could give an element of surprise that would give them a bit of aid. As long as they didn’t have a skilled assassin in their midst it would work.

Jun took a moment to drink another health tonic and antidote that would hold off the poison eating at his system for at least two minutes. He didn’t want to use all the potions up right now, but he needed to regain more health for this fight. Given his current health, he would have probably persisted in a matter of minutes. Moving forward, he stood next to Rowyn with at least an arm length between them. The players rounded the trees and spotted them instantly. Given their reactions, the group in front of them was indeed PKers.

“I suggest we isolate one at a time and eliminate them that way.” Jun spoke quietly as he gripped a hold of Staff of Apparitions. He would need it, but not quite yet, not until the players were in range of its magic. Jun wasn’t sure how these two would feel about offing other players, but as far as Jun was concerned these PKers had already killed before, so Jun had no problem with returning the favor. It wouldn't be the first kill on his hands and it wouldn't be the last. It wasn’t a hundred percent guaranteed to work, but none of the others spoke up a plan on action. He knew time was little to plan up an attack, but simply attack would get them killed faster. The reason PKer groups lasted so long is because they always had a plan on action before ending off into PVP areas.

“Modo voluptaria vitup~” Jun held up a palm in front of him. The area shimmered in front of him, creating a transparent barrier of energy before him. The first couple arrows deflected off the barrier, dropping to the ground just in front of it. The next arrow drove into the barrier forming a crack in the shield, while the one following just after it shattered the barrier and flew pass Jun’s face and buried itself in the ground by Faena’s feet. The archer’s arrows were fast and definitely carried power. If he had a couple more second to chant the spell he could have increased the barriers defense. Still, that defensive spell along would reveal there was magic wielder in the area.

Taking several steps backwards, Jun begins chanting again to form another spell. Keeping his palm raises in front of him, heat began building up in his hand to ignite power for a fire based attack. As the attack began to form, the effects of the Mare’s Cloak canceled out because it wasn’t allowed to be used while attacking. Several balls of fire burst from Jun’s palm, firing out like a barrage, aimed straight at the knight and his steed. The knight held up his lance to block of a majority of the attack, but still sustained a minimal amount of damage.

Suddenly he moved and the smell of familiarity filled the air. Her eyes focused on the flying object and immediately realized what it was...dragon cake. She tried to grab it, but it landed straight into the dragons mouth. Now she was angry, but before she could retaliate with a cold hard knuckle sandwich he began to talk.

He wouldn't notice anyways..

Coming to Aedus hadn't really been out of sheer desire, but more of a necessity. Outside of her domain, Iqhwa was about as useful as a wand to a warrior. Oh, she could go without her beads or her cloth armor for all she cared - but when her bow was put into jeopardy, she had to halt everything she did and repair it. "It's inconvenient for me to travel all the way back here, but my bow, Sehe ur Dahyi, is forged from lisumite. Normal blacksmiths refuse to repair it and even the blacksmith here is reluctant to himself. Lisumite is a dark ore, notably considered to be 'demonic' because of its unusual property of being as light as a feather but as dense and tough as diamonds. Only a combination of brute force, magic, and extreme heat can shape and mold it, but in the form of weapons it's much more fragile since the constitution of the ore is compromised for practical use." She took a bite out of her food thoughtfully and realized she had spewed out a whole slew of information without skipping a beat. Huh, odd. Maybe it was easier to speak of things she already knew instead of trying to come up with things herself. That could have explained it. "Most don't like it because it's 'cursed', but I think it's only cursed if someone else touches it aside from the rightful owner. It served me well for a number of levels and it still does."

Iqhwa hadn't really been looking for a partner or a party to travel with per say, but now that Camille brought it up, she wondered if they could find others and band together to get to Avalbane. It was a long shot honestly, and she was more or less inclined to travel there herself if things started going south really fast. It wouldn't help either if they built a reputation of a yin-yang pairing, now that the archer had time to think about it. She was fair skinned with the darkest of clothing and Camille dark with pure white and gold clothing. It was funny how that seemed to work out here. "No... I'm not looking for anything in particular, but I don't suppose we could try and find others who would be willing to forge onward towards Avalbane?" They had to start somewhere, and honestly Iqhwa had simply been wandering for quite some time. Perhaps they should find more people before attempting to do anything else - after all, what use would she be if she couldn't fight fast enough to keep the both of them alive? She was a brilliant assassin sniper, but she was a terrible fighter in close range. They would need to find someone else before trying anything silly.

Rin had been in Coravan on business and had just finished stocking up on the supplies that she would need before she moved onwards, making sure she was finished she stepped out into the desert making her way out across the sands silently keeping an eye out around her as she walked. She made her way towards the border of Kestral and Coravan walking was a natural thing for her, she enjoyed it actually as it usually gave her time to think; sometimes that was a bad thing as well. She made her way over sand dune after sand dune she was lucky she had replaced her usual shoes with something more sturdy for walking though sand. She’d hate to have sand between her toes.

About half way through the desert she came across two men riding on horses galloping towards her quickly, she kept to herself and only when they slowed did she set her narrowed eyes into a glare. They paused looking down at her one man rubbing his eyes and squinting at her closely as if trying to see her clearly. “Why don’t we just kill this one and take the body back to the boss? Surely no one will look close enough right?” The second one asked and Rin tensed ready for a fight when the first guy who was leaning down to get a better look at her grabbed her chin turning her to face the light. His eyes widened as he quickly let go of her face and fall off the side of his horse, her sword in her hand at his throat already. “Wha-what?” The second guy said pulling at his whip, Rin dodged it and using the hilt of her sword she hit him off his own horse.

“We don’t want any trouble!” The first guy said hurriedly standing up and picking up the dazed second one from the sand and hurrying out of range. “Who is she?” The second guy asked softly to the first guy as they got back onto their horses. “Shes called Yasha no Toujin.” He said risking a glance back to see her sheath her blade smoothly. “Whats that mean?” The second guy asked as they started to move away from her as she started walking again though she could hear their conversation. “It’s said to mean Female demon of the sword blade.” The first guy said before he galloped his horse once again and the second one followed after him. Rin was left behind with a smirk crossing her face from amusement, at least people knew better than to mess with her.

Rin continued on her way, it was hot and the sun beating down on her was annoying enough, she trekked onwards though and soon walked over the top of the dunes seeing the plain’s coming into view. It would be relief to get out of the sun soon, though she gave a few minutes pause as she seen two groups getting ready to crash, a group of three and a second group of four. Two archers, a Knight and Mercenary. She knew this group well enough to have been warned from them, a group of PKers a couple of friends had told her about, with a scowl on her face she hurried down the dune and made her way into the fray. With her speed and no one paying attention to her she was able to sneak up behind one of the two archers, she had no problem dealing death to PKers.

With a well aimed slash of her sword she quickly made work with one of the archers health watching as it started to drop quickly where she turned turned to the second getting ready for another attack on the back line.

Faena nodded upon Rowyn's statement. He was right. The approaching group was coming from inside the forest of Kestrel. When she heard that there was a mounted unit among them she almost smiled. She had been able to distract her attackers by startling their horses. Loud sounds and lights tended to frighten even the most trained steads. War horses included. Her thunder tomb would come in mighty handing during this fight.

Despite having Rowyn at her side, she was glad that Jun was going to stay. She did not feel comfortable with the thought of him leaving without them, even if danger was approaching. She had decided to keep a close watch on him. She may not be a Cleric but she was determined to see him recover. She would not accept failure.

The group emerged, and Faena held her breath. However, she felt her stomach twist in disgust upon spotting the groups behavior. It seemed that PKers truly did dominate Akaneia Online. While she was not fond of ending lives when faced with real life consequences, she figured this vigilante justice will have to do. This group had killed before, she could see barely make out their orange cursers from where she was standing. Her eyes darkened. These type of people sickened her.

She was so focus on the approaching enemy ahead of her that she nearly jumped when she heard Jun's voice so close to her ear. She turned to look at him and was shocked to see him gone. 'How?,' she thought. 'He was just behind me.' She could almost feel his presence, for she felt something soft brush against her leg. 'That wasn't the wind. His cloak maybe?' She could no longer dwell on the subject any longer. Two arrows were fired, and hurtling toward them.

'Brace yourselves.' Rowyn had said, his body already moving into his battle stance. Faena followed suit, her right hand raising a little higher, while her left clutched her tome even more tightly against her side.

She heard Jun begin casting a spell beside her. His voice the only sign that he was still with them. She was surprised that Rowyn had not noticed, but upon casting a quick glance to her right she could see that Rowyn had his eyes focused forward. Picking out his prey.

"I can knock the Knight off his horse. He will be less agile, his armor will slow him down", She stated, quickly recalling a particular simple spell. While it would do barely any damage to the Knight's health, it should startle his horse. The distraction and the fall would leave the knight open for a finishing blow. However the arrows had to be dealt with first and for most.

She was about to knock one out of the air before it hit her but was surprised upon it seeing it suddenly deflect mid air. Her eyes widened upon realization. Jun had cast a protection spell. Faena was greatly impressed. Such magic required a great amount of skill and the fact that Jun was able to hold it in his somewhat weakened condition was amazing. Maybe after he recovered she could ask him to teach her. However the next arrow that landed by her feet snapped her out of her thoughts. She regained her focus just as Jun shot a fireball at the Knight. The hit only did minimal damage. It seemed that the Knight had armor that protected him from magical attacks.

'No matter, She thought as she raised her hand. Jun had given her a great opportunity to cast her spell. She was not willing to let it go. "Amin yala russe tuulo' moriloomir." She spoke firmly. The tip of her finger tingling with electricity, before a large flash of light shot out in front of the Knight. The horse reared up in fright, and thus knocking the Knight onto his back. Just what Faena predicted. She quickly engaged her hidden blade and shot forward.

She brought her blade against his armor, jabbing through an opening. She heard the Knight grunt, and she could see his health bar lower considerably. However, he did not expire. She went to pull out her blade in order to dodge the Knight's sweep of the lance. But her blade was stuck. The slight hesitation was costly. She felt the lance hit her side, knocking her to the left with enough force that her sword dislodged. Faena hit the ground with a loud thud, the breath in her lungs being knocked out of her.

It was moments like these that she greatly regretted switching classes. She tended to forget her limits, and was the main reason she had put herself in danger. She barely had time to think before the Knight tried to skewer her with his lance. She rolled out of the way, and onto her stomach and hands. She quickly pushed backwards and sprung to her feet, just in time to perry the Knight's next attack.

'Rowyn's going to be so pissed', she thought as she side stepped another sweep of the lance. Her chest heaved with the effort, she still hadn't fully regained her breath after that first attack. She just hoped she could hold off until another opportunity presented itself to her or back up arrived.

He was so focused on his target, that as soon as the man was within range he had surged forward. He thrusted his sword right into the players chest, his increased speed catching the man off guard. It was moments like this that Rowyn was thankful for the item Hermes' Wings. It gave him a great advantage in battle, and it allowed him to deal with enemies easily. It was only when the man's HP dropped, did Rowyn notice that the man was barely level 50. While he did feel remotely disgusted by killing the man, he knew it was for the greater good. Compassion would only leave him open for death. He hardly believed the man would offer him the same kindness. It was a risk he was not willing to take.

Rowyn jerked his sword from the man's flesh and watched briefly as he burst into particles. He frowned and went to turn his attention to the two archers. However, he was surprised to see another player engaging them. His brow raised in question. 'That's odd. I didn't sense her,' He thought. The female had already dealt with one of the archers, and drawing the fire of the second. Her speed was remarkable, and it seemed that she could handle herself. He reminded himself that after the battle was over, he should thank her. A sudden loud thud drew his attention.

He turned quickly behind him, and nearly paled upon what he saw. Faena was on the ground, with the Knight standing above her, his lance about to strike. He felt his chest tighten with fear at the sight. He raised his blade and rushed over to her. Faena rolled just in the knick of time and righted herself to perry the Knight's next attack. Rowyn narrowed his eyes in order to see her health bar. He frowned upon discovering that it was at forty percent.

He could tell be her stance, that she had not recovered. He gritted his teeth. He wanted to trust and rely on her, but sometimes he couldn't help but dwell on her lower level. He cut in just as the Knight made to jab at Faena's side. He stepped in between the two, his back toward Faena as he knocked the lance away from her form. He will have to talk to her later.

ll HEALTH: 98%XXXXXll STAMINA: 55%XXXXXll EQUIPPED: Black Fang, Hermes' Wings

Haya had been polishing her sword when someone said something hearing the words that came out made her pause before she looked up shocked, seeing the red hair and green eyes she couldn’t help but doubt and secretly hope it was who she thought it was. Haya set the swords down on the ground before she walked around the player in front of her scoping her out, it couldn’t be possible. It just couldn’t. Finally Haya leaned in close to the player with red hair her eyes looking around the two of them before she finally whispered. “Hotaru?” The other player threw her arms up around Haya and hugged her close yelling in excitement. Hearing the girl ramble Haya couldn’t help but chuckle, it really was her best friend, right here in front of her.

“How have you been? How’s the game treating you? I’m going to add you as my friend alright?” Haya asked a few questions while opening her in game interface and selecting the player in front of her seeing the name was Kira and her level was 80 just like Haya’s. Asking to add her as a friend Haya was proud to know that even though they hadn’t been playing together they were on the same wavelength. “Impressive stats and level my love; I see you have been busy online.” Haya couldn’t help but feel some hope inside her that maybe just maybe Daiki was still in the game alive somewhere. But that wasn’t something she could worry about right now of course, she had other things to worry about; like this future mission.

Looking around her and finding no sign of Daidon yet she sat back on the ground grabbing up her swords and looking up at Kira before patting the ground next to her. “Tell me all about what you have been up too, I don’t know how long I have before I have to go yet though.” Haya said with a sheepish smile, Kira would probably be the only one who could even get the real life her out of Haya and that was because they were like sisters.

Poor girl. Daidon met her eyes long enough before travelling south to notice how it seemed he spooked her. He was well enough used it. From rather slender figure to long hair he was commonly mistaken for a woman. He didn't much appreciate it but he could understand where the confusion came from. However, he was not going to rid himself of the cause. He adored his hair. More than he did most people! It was always neatly brushed and clean. Oh how he would fuss over someone touching it without permission. Yet, he digressed. The moment wasn't about his hair- it was about his mission! It wasn't important that the woman was momentarily taken back. Her face hardened again soon enough. That was such an amusing reaction that his coy smirk curled even further.

He threw a wave to her over his shoulder when he and Lyth took off. Daidon rode the dragon down the middle of the alley. With Lyth's size, the forced players to move out of the way. It was all entertainment value. Lyth raised his chin proudly once again, staring down every player to meet his striking blue eyes. His strides were long and confident with his tail swinging widely as he trotted and a lively pace. They made distance away from the scene of interaction, making a beeline to the gate through the twisting roads of the city. Really, they layout was too expansive. It was designed to hold numerous beginner players as they all started the game at once. The ones that lingered in their low levels remained to the day. Sheep. They weren't worth cutting off.

Lyth was practically on autopilot as he sauntered down alleys. The dragon knew where he was going without a doubt. Daidon was just along for the ride it seemed. In a second, the beast stooped in his back and jumped to face a very specific direction. He took on a fighting stance with his lips curled back to reveal all his teeth as he snarled. This time he remained solid black, however. Charging himself would fry Daidon. The dragon lowered it's head and continued to snap his jaws at the assailant. Lyth's physical strengths were dodging and stealth. He was alerted to their follower with general ease while Daidon was clueless. Despite his acuteness to thieves, the dragon was unable to directly pinpoint the location of Amethyst as she followed them. She was too high leveled to have her specific location revealed. Daidon heaved a frustrated sigh under his breath but didn't see the threat. He lightly tugged Lyth's rein. "No time. Leave honeybuns be." He said loud enough that he was sure she could hear him. He really had no clue that it was the woman from before but it was the best bet. He ignored her evident presence. "Lift," he calmly requested. Lyth complied by stretching his wings out and taking off directly upwards. No need to jump across rooftops. Daidon leaned forward and close to Lyth to keep from falling off.

He didn't like falling off very much.

The high stone gates approached much fast that way as Lyth's long black wings glided through the air. He spotted their party group by the icons over their heads. He prepared to dive for them before noticing his favorite one was relaxing on top of the wall. He had the connection that if he was relaxing there then the man wouldn't pay attention to him! He couldn't have that! Without reason, rhyme, or warning, Lyth made a sharp dive for the wolf-man who was comfortably napping. He perched on the brick wall and Daidon knew what he was going to do in an instant. He grinned from ear to ear before laughing. Lyth grabbed at the back of Cyrus's shirt with his teeth and hoisted him into the air. Over the ledge. Daidon laughed harder while the archer danged. Lyth wanted to get the man's undivided attention. He flapped his wings again to take them into the air again. They circled Haya a number of times before landing, but not without trying to spook Cyrus a little more. Lyth pretended to drop the archer twice but caught him again and again. Cyrus was lucky he wasn't a heavy man. Eventually the dragon landed and released Cyrus.

Daidon patted Lyth's side heavily while trying to subdue his laughter. Even the dragon was intimating laughter with a coughing sound. The rider slid off his mount with a huge, dopey grin. He was too amused by bothering Cyrus. It was going to be a long haul for the man, without a doubt. He sighed contently and averted his gaze to the other member of the group. He quirked an eyebrow at Haya and sized up her friend. She looked vaguely familiar. Maybe it was the red hair. That's what he was going to settle on. "Makin' friends, commando?" he cooed.

tab tab tab ooc: daidon's post are just becoming "how many people can he piss off at once" (also ya'll should get in the skyp ooc group)

Jun didn’t expect his fire magic to do much damage, but the knight didn’t even seem phased by the attack. Tightening his grip on the staff he kept his eyes locked on the knight. He would have to use it then, but he would need the knight’s attention. He was unsure of the effects it would have on the others, if any, but he would focus the bulk of the attack on the knight. Pausing, Jun looked out to the distance to keep tabs on the archers; it was about time that they began firing another wave of attacks. Jun caught the sight of a shimmer in the distance, the dissolving pixels of a fallen player. It had been one of the archers, but who had done it, none of them where anywhere near the archers. Catching movement out of the corner of his vision, he noticed a new player had joined the fray. Jun was wary of this newcomer. It was clear that none of them had noticed her until just now, and she had taken the opportunity to use the element of surprise to finish off the first archer. From the looks of it she was going after the second archer. She was free to do what she wished, but he had no reason to go off and assist. So then, that would just leave one.

Jun drew his attention back to the knight that was now off his horse and going up against Rowyn and Faena. At that second Jun heard a small whistling sound coming from behind him. Instinctively, he ducked and rolled to the side before landing back in a crouched position. Pain struck his right shoulder as his health dropped slightly. Gritting his teeth, Jun yanked the arrow out of his shoulder before it could continue to do anymore damage. Jun really wasn’t use to working alongside other players again, it had been quite a while and he had agreed to ‘watch their backs’. Using his long legs, Jun pushed off the ground and starting running quickly towards the Knight, throwing the arrow straight at him. The arrow clanked against the knight’s arrow before dropping to the ground. It wasn’t meant to cause damage after all, but to grab the player’s attention and it did. As the knight turned around the orb on Jun’s staff began to grow cloudy and radiate a black glow…

A wicked grin crept slowly across Jun face as his eyes rolled to the back of his head. What started as as an eerie chuckle, broke into a deep spine tingling laughter that rang throughout the area. Pale flesh ripped apart from muscle and muscle from bone. A decaying hand rose to his face, sliding sharp bone fingers through the skin of his cheek until all that remained was was a skeletal face. Eyes melted away until nothing but empty soulless sockets stared straight into the knight’s terror stricken eyes. A shadowy mist crept slowly out of the orb of the staff. The mist thickened ever so slowly until it formed the solid crescent blade of a scythe. With the appearance of such a being, it was a given to what lay in store for the knight. With a single swing of the scythe the reaper slashed open a hole in the ground just at the knight’s feet.

The moments of silence between the two were broken when a skeletal hand grasped around the ankle of the knight. The knight shouted out a cry as he rammed his lance through the head of the rising skeleton coming from the ground. Two more skeletons arose from the gap in the ground, grabbing a hold of the lance and pulling the knight forward until he fell to the ground. His cries grew louder as the dead’s hand dug through his armor to grasp onto him and begin to drag him into the hole.

… As the knight turned around the orb on Jun’s staff began to grow cloudy and radiate a black glow. The Knights eyes grew large, stricken with fear. His eyes were pinned to Jun, looking him up and down as if he were staring at a monster. With no warning the knight began yelling out in fear and trying to shake something that was not there off his leg. He grabbed a hold of his lance and slammed it straight into the dirt. Falling to his knees the knight sat there in a terrified gaze muttering “Reaper” over and over again.

It was usually in those moments that people started to understand just who Jun was. He had taken a particular liking to portraying the reaper, for what did many players in here now a days fear more than Death? It was the nickname Reaper that players had started associating him with, but it was a perfect match after all. Jun said nothing as he opened his inventory, pulling out a simple blade from his bag. The knight looked nothing more than a miserable sack. Gripping a hold of the dagger, Jun plugged the payer into the knight, shattering him into pixels instantly. He got what he deserved, just like the rest of them, but it wasn't other players that they should be fighting. When would other players start focusing on more important things...like the hackers?! They were here, in the game, was he really the only one that seemed to notice?

Rowyn knocked another blow aside, patiently waiting for an opening. He briefly wondered if Jun was going to attack, but the thought was cut off when he saw an arrow hit the knight's back. He raised a brow in question and followed the line of trajectory and soon discovered that it was the dark mage that threw it. He knew that such an attack would not do any damage, however it did gain the knight's attention. Just what the mage had wanted it seemed, for as soon as the Knight turned to face him, Jun casted a spell.

Rowyn did not see anything after the initial black glow from the staff. He was a bit taken aback at first, not sure if the spell had failed. It was only when the Knight had fallen to his knees and started mumbling that he had an inkling of what kind of spell the dark mage cast. The strange behavior and the blatant disregard of the foes at his back, made it obvious that the Knight was caught in some type of illusion. Rowyn's eyes widened in shock.

'I only heard of such a type of magic. I never thought it was possible,' He thought as he watched the dark mage approach the Knight rather calmly before finishing him off. Rowyn's eyes saw the player disintegrated into bright colorful pixels. However he could not tear his gaze away from Jun. His eyes narrowed. 'This mage is not what he seems.'

"Thanks," He said with a slight nod to Jun's direction. "Should we move to help that other player with the remaining archer?" He asked addressing the whole group. The female player did seem like she could handle herself, but he would not feel comfortable just leaving her alone with the PKer.

Faena was thankful for Rowyn's timely arrival and rescue. Although she would never admit her relief. His presence allowed her to finally catch her breath. She sucked in huge breathes of air. Her back still ached from her sharp collision to the surprising hard ground earlier. She placed a hand onto Rowyn's back as she did so, the touch bring her security. It had been such a long time since she fought side by side with him… or well at least be in his company. She was in no condition to fight along side him just yet.'I am seriously regretting changing classes', she thought with a scowl. However the new skill of magic had her staying within the tactician class. It really came in handy, and did put her in a somewhat stable position on the battlefield. It gave her distance to where she could still actively participate and back up her party and friends.

She felt his muscles flex with with his perry. She was about to peak out from behind him to lunge at the Knight when an opening came but something behind Rowyn's shoulder caught her attention. 'What is that?'. She tried to see over Rowyn, but he kept her behind him, still sheltering her from the Knight.

"Rowyn-" she started but was cut off by the sound of the scattering of pixels. 'What happened?' She tried to look over, but Rowyn still blocked her.

"I think we should, but Jun really needs to get the antidote." She answered. They had already wasted precious time by engaging with the Pkers.

The room was cold, with every breathe he took he could see the soft mist that reminded him that he was living and breathing. He drew comfort from that fact. He was alive, but trapped in this virtual world. While some would be horrified by such a situation, he couldn’t help but feel relieved. This world offered him so many possibilities, so many choices.

The smell of the burner, and the sweet scent of herbs drew him back to his task. His grey eyes focused on the small mortar and pedestal once more. Her resumed with his task, the muscles in his arms and hands flex with each grind that he made.

The sound of a soft knock at his chambers door broke his focus once more. He released a heavy aggravated sigh as he put down his tools. ’I though I told them I do not wish to be disturbed.’

”Enter.” He commanded as he turned away from his potion. The door to his private study opened to reveal one of his most trusted members of the guild. The skilled assassin stepped into the room cautiously with his head bowed.

”Sorry for disturbing you, Grandmaster but I have come with the member report.” The young man said with a soft voice. Argento stepped away from his crafting table, and met the assassin in the middle. The assassin gently handed over a single piece of parchment to the trickster.

Argento gently seized it, his eyes quickly scanning the contents. The assassin spoke once more, his voice slightly louder this time. It seemed that Argento was not in a foul mood. [color-darkslategray]”Fortunately, we have not lost any members as of late, and we have a few more new recruits being scouted.” The man began, as he listed the important key points of the report. ”However…

”It seems like Cyrus Hale and other members have not checked in," Argento stated coolly, cutting off the assassin. He handed the report back to the man, his grey eyes capturing his gaze. ”See to it that these members receive a notice. Let them know that they are expected to return to Coravan and report to headquarters in a weeks time.”

”Yes, sir.” The assassin made to leave, turning away from Argento.

”Kage.” Argento called out, making the assassin stop in his tracks. ”If they are not back after that time, send out a team and bring them here.”

Kage only nodded before leaving. Argento found himself alone in his study. He turned his gaze to the small window, watching as a hawk flew past the windowpane. Yes, he loved this world and the newfound power it had given him.
