They were standing there, staring at each other like lost teens and Dillan just ended up chuckling at how nervous he felt. After all he had never actually met Elias in person, though he had talked to him for hours at end and shared tales of grand portion. Now the male was standing right in front of him, all flesh and bone. Even he himself had a hard time believing it even if he was completely sure the man was very much real.

Though when the male smiled and spoke his name he was even more sure he had the right guy. "Heh, Hi there Li" he murmured calmly, returning the favor by beaming his own very smile at the other whom he considered a close friend despite actually never meeting the guy in real life. Even the repeating of the same sentence didn't bother him, just made him nod in reply, firmly at that. Yes he was there and so was Elias, that was pretty amazing. He felt much better about this place already, something familiar and secure and known. Dillan clung to this thought desperately.

However as the next question came he tilted his head confused. "Fik-su?" he tried to copy the word, but his lips wouldn't form the correct pronunciation. Was his friend asking if he was ok? Dillan tried to translate the word in his head, but all he got out of was nothing that made sense. After thinking it over, something clicked in his mind, something he had read and not quite understood, he took the paper out of his pocket and gave it to Elias "Mean this-e?" he questioned towards the words of his team and whom was in it. Dillan had just glanced over it, which is why he hadn't noticed his friends name on the list.

He beamed a smile "We in same team?" he questioned excitedly, almost bouncing, because that would just be great. And that meant he would be working together with him. Suddenly he paused and curiosity seemed to beam in him. "What do you do?" he asked, perhaps it was a bit sudden, but Elias being there most mean he had some sort of power and Dillan was truly excited about not being the only one. "I can- " he paused, searching for the correct words "vanish?" it was more a rhetorical question rather then something that actually had to be answered. Dillan knew he was blabbering, but he couldn't help it.

A soft, slightly irritated sigh escaped pink lips.

“I‘m going to have a beard by the time you‘re done with that cigarette.”

“Even if I wus ‘ere for a year you still wouldn’t be able ter grow one, Aspen.”

                                          [******** you.”

Sebastian laughed and simply lifted his two tatted fingers in response to his friend. “Right back at yer, dearie,” the Irish male answered. He loved the petite boy to his right but Aspen really needed to learn some patience for the moment. He just had to sit behind two screaming kids and their mother on a plane and then sit in a cramped taxi for an hour. He needed the nicotine right now. Aspen was excited to get inside of the grand academy that loomed behind them, he could see that in those skinny fingers that kept pulling at the end of the other’s sweater. He, on the other hand, wasn’t in such a big hurry. Was he excited to see where he would be spending the next possible three years of his life? How about met the people that he would be living with? Sure. But he was also nervous, hesitant, and slightly homesick. Saying yes to Zenith Academy had been a big decision and anyone that knew him decently well knew how much he hated making decisions. He was much more of a go-with-the-flow type of fellow. How his dear friend was even able to convince him to say yes, he still wasn’t sure. Yet here he stood at the entrance to such a place, finishing a cigarette before heading inside to see what laid waiting.

One more drag and he was finished with a squish of the cancer stick under his shoe. “Okay let’s go,” he said before taking a deep inhale and picking up the few bags that were littered at his side. The rest of his things were already in his dorm apparently which was rather nice. He still had to unpack the items but he had all day to do such a thing. At least that’s what the information packet had said along with any other necessary information. Aspen and he would be rooming on the first floor of the dorms along with a guy named Felix and a guy named Hiroki. They were all to be on a team called the Cardinal Signs. He couldn’t wait to meet their fellow teammates and see what the two were like. Hopefully they weren’t a bunch of psychopaths or something along that line. He doubted it but then again he knew nothing of what to expect from Zenith Academy. He did know though that the two would have powers just like Aspen and he did. Now that he wanted to see! The discovery of his teleportation powers had been thrilling and exciting but now they were simply a part of him and nothing new. Even Aspen’s illusions were a part of his daily life and he was used to seeing them, no matter how creative his friend got. Today they’d get to meet new people and see new powers. He let his mind wander over the possibilities of what kind of abilities Felix and Hiroki and even the others could have as the petite blonde and him walked through halls of Zenith.

The place was impressive, that was for sure. There was a rather pretty lady sitting behind a front desk but the two males walked past her figuring it couldn’t be that hard for them to find their rooms. Well more like Aspen decided that as Sebastian just simply followed along, taking in the beauty that was this building. He appreciated art in all forms and this place was just that: art. Silver hues pulled themselves away from one of the paintings that hung on the wall just in time to save himself from walking into the shorter male in front of him who had just came to a complete stop. “This should be your room, Seb,” he heard his dear friend say with a nod of those light brown locks to the door to the left of them. “Where’s your room?” he asked wanting to make sure that Aspen was somewhere near. They would already be in the same building and on the same floor, but he was used to living in the same apartment as the other so he needed that closeness still especially in such a new place. Aspen must’ve sensed his slight desperation as he laughed and replied, “I’m right across the hall from you so stop your worrying. Let’s unpack a few things and meet in a hour to go explore the grounds. Alright?” He nodded his head in agreement and pushed the door open to the place he’d be calling home for a while.

                                          ----------
An hour later and all he had managed to unpack was a notepad and some pencils. He had meant to get more unpacked, he really had. But he got too distracted with doodling and next thing he knew the hour was up. Sebastian walked out of his dorm and was about the head to Aspen’s room when a whiff of smoke caught his attention. Something was burning and right away a sense of panic coursed through him. He knocked on Aspen’s door, trying to get his attention but the other was too caught up in something and wouldn’t answer. So his instinct took over and he went to follow the scent himself. It didn’t take him long to find that source of the smoke and it wasn’t even surprising that it had been coming from the kitchen. As he walked into the small yet cozy space though he was surprised to see two unfamiliar faces. There was a redhead who seemed to be the culprit of the smoke as he was cooking a pot of something and there was a blonde sitting at the table conversing with the other. The libra could tell that the two were younger than he was so they had to be students here which also meant they had to have powers. Sebastian could feel the anticipation run through him as he’d get to meet some of the other students here and now.

“’ eeloo there! Do yer guys need help wi’ anything?” he asked referring to the black smoke that was now, thankfully, clearing away due to the open window. They seemed to have the situation under control but he still felt the need to ask just in case. His mother drilled good manners into her six boys all throughout their childhoods and taught them to mind their p’s and q’s. Unfortunately, she never got Sebastian’s habit of swearing under control. “Shite! I’m Sebastian by the way,” he introduced himself, remembering that it was always polite to do so first off.

A soft, slightly irritated sigh escaped pink lips.

“I‘m going to have a beard by the time you‘re done with that cigarette.”

                                                  [******** you.”

A flash of those two tatted fingers and a ‘right back at you’ were all Aspen got in response before his older friend went back to puffing away on that cigarette. Normally, he wouldn’t mind hanging out with Sebastian while the other had a smoke. He actually found the smell a bit addicting and calming even though he didn’t smoke himself. But today he was itching for that blasted thing to be finished so the two of them could head on inside and see what awaited them. Even since that fateful day when he was approached with an offer to join this exclusive academy, the excitement had been slowly building and now it was about to burst from the seams. The grounds already seemed so much more luxurious than the small two room apartment he had shared with Seb back in the cities. He wanted to see what the inside of these buildings looked like and even more, his room. When he had read that his dorm would be on the first floor and near his friend’s, he had let out a whoop of joy. The closer to the ground he was, the better he was. Heights were not a friend of his and being near the pierced male next to him was never a bad thing either. Sure the other could get on his last nerves but people who meant a lot to you did that.

The other thing he was impatient to see was what sort of powers everyone else would have. He wasn’t that excited to actually meet the other students; no, meeting new people was more something that got his friend all worked up. But seeing what the others could do? That he was actually looking forward to. Aspen’s slender digits worked and worked at the edges of his sweater – a terrible habit of his when something was on his mind – as the thoughts ran through his head. Would the others have really impressive powers like breathing fire or reading minds? Or would it be lame things like ‘I can move this pencil two inches to the left’ or turning into a puddle of water? Maybe someone could turn people into stone just with their gaze like Medusa! He really had no idea what to expect so his imagination ran a little wild in the meantime.

“Okay let’s go.” the deep voice pulled him out of his thoughts as lilac eyes glanced over to see that Sebastian was done with his cigarette. Finally! His fingers were going to go numb if he had to wait any longer. The capricorn picked up the few bags he had, slung them over his shoulders, and the two made their way inside. The place was rather large and obviously well kept. Right away, his gaze zeroed in a simple lady sitting behind a front desk and waiting for anybody who needed help. Aspen pulled his gaze away and brushed right past her though. They could easily find their rooms their selves and didn’t need help especially not from some gosh forsaken woman. The two of them made their way down the halls, Aspen looking for their rooms and Sebastian preoccupied with looking at all the artwork on the wall. Before he knew, they were there and he stopped right in front of what would soon be, or technically already was, Seb’s room. He couldn’t help but laugh as his friend always ran right into him but thankfully stopped in time. That’s what the artistic fellow got for not paying attention. “This should be your room, Seb,” he informed the other with a nod to the door. “Where’s your room?” he heard the multicolored hair male reply, detecting the sense of worry in those few words. They were so used to living with each other now and it was odd and a bit frightening to be separated like this. Even though they were just across the hall from each other! Aspen remind himself of this little fact and knew that they’d be fine. “I’m right across the hall from you so stop your worrying. Let’s unpack a few things and meet in a hour to go explore the grounds. Alright?” he said reassuringly. He waited until Sebastian had entered his room before turning and heading into his own

                                                  ---------
An hour later and somehow, the brunette had managed to unpack majority of his things. There were a few miscellaneous things to put away but those could wait. Pictures of his friends and family and Sebastian’s mural that he had painted for him last Christmas were hung on the walls, his bed was adored with way too many pillows and blankets just the way he liked it, his clothes were hung in the closet, and a bookcase was filled with books. The room was already looking more inviting and lived in. Aspen pulled his sweater away from him, feeling the sweat that clung to him from working so hard and so quickly. He decided that a shower was a good idea and heading into the bathroom that adjoined his room.

Fifteen minutes later and he was out, already dressed in a fresh set of clothes. During the shower, he had sworn that he had heard a light knocking sound but figured it had just been his imagination. Now he was wondering if it had been Sebastian though as he looked at the clock and realized he was running a little late to meeting up with his friend. He headed out of his room and over to Seb’s. He knocked on the door a few times and even called out but the other must’ve ran off to go exploring without him. Slender shoulders shrugged as it wasn’t that big of a deal and he headed down the hall to explore on his own.

There was a faint smell of something smoking but there was no way in hell that Aspen was going to go find out the cause of it. If some pyromaniac felt like burning the building on their first day then he certainly wasn’t going to track them down and try to convince them otherwise. He had better things to do! As he wandered a bit, he wasn’t really sure where he was going but figured he’d check out the first floor first and then head to the second floor and so forth. He had already walked by the rooms and the front entrance so he decided to look for the kitchen next. That way, he’d know the place that he needed to avoid throughout his stay. He had gone up two pounds since he was last on the scale. It was getting ridiculous! Two pounds seemed like nothing but on his body it showed…a lot. Pretty soon, people were going to start asking when he was expecting by how round his stomach was becoming. He just needed to lose those two pounds and then it would look better. He told himself he’d pick up on the eating then since Seb was really starting to get after him lately.

A few more twists and turns and he headed to a door that looked like it held the kitchen behind it. One push of the door though and nope, this was the library. He let out another sigh of frustration because really how big could this place be? The building was only supposed to hold the dormitories. He was about to turn around and start his search again when another whiff of smoke hit his nose. Was the pyromaniac in here? Great, just his luck. Aspen figured he might as well deal with this person now especially if they were in the library. As a lover of literature, he just couldn’t let these books be burned to the ground. He didn’t have to wander too far through the aisles before he came across two strangers. He could only see parts of them through the bookcase that still separated them but the one part that he did see of one of them tripping, cutting his hand on a loose nail, and then that wound simply healing itself in a matter of seconds was enough to make his jaw drop a little. Even though he knew others would have powers, he was still in shock at seeing that, enough that he didn’t hear what the two were talking about. His feet move on their own and he stepped out from behind the bookcase. “Holy crap! Your power is that you can heal yourself? Why didn’t I get something useful like that?” he asked the one with silver hair before he could stop the words from spilling out and realize that he was interrupting a bit here. “What can you do?” Aspen asked the one smoking a cigarette, still not aware that he probably shouldn’t be so upfront right now and should be introducing himself instead. Being around Seb for too much did this to him. Fortunately, it was only a matter of seconds though before a soft blush formed on his cheeks and he said, “Sorry that was a bit rude. I’m Aspen.”

Nitro glanced over toward the new arrival and noticed the headphones, "what sort of music are you listening to?" Music was one thing that Nitro knew he could probably relate to, no matter what sort he liked to listen to. Glancing over toward Felix he chuckles when he hears him ask about how noticeable his tiredness was, "just a little noticeable." He takes another drink from his glass, "I'm lucky, I can sleep almost anywhere." Nitro wondered if everyone would be coming in tired, he didn't mind sharing his food if it was needed. He'd gotten sleep on the flight over and in the cab, Nitro didn't see an issue with putting some of his energy to work if others were lagging.

"Spice would be okay to eat. Café would be nice too."

Without pausing Nitro reaches for another bowl, "I think you'll like da gumbo - fridge was stocked with quite a few nice things so should be pretty tasteh." He quickly dollops another helping of shrimp gumbo into the bowl and starts slicing a few more pieces of the fresh bread. "I don't mind gettin' ya a bit o' java as well. They 'ave one o' those fancy espresso an' cappuccino machines, but ya are in luck worked in a coffee shop for a few weeks a while back." Sliding the bowl of gumbo toward Felix, Nitro turns back to the machine in the corner of the counter. It was a rather nice one and seemed to have a few more knobs than he was use to on it. Measuring out some dark roast grounds he goes to work on the machine and before too long is filling a mug. "Can add an espresso shot ta it ifin' ya like as well."

Hearing the smoke mentioned, Nitro looks up to see that it had luckily almost fully cleared. "Well truthfully wasn't tryin' ta set da place on fire. Stove just got da best o' me for a moment." Looking over to Felix he gives a good natured grin over to him, he sets down the mug and a smaller cup with a shot of espresso in it near the other male. "Just add it in if ya feel ya want more o' a kick."

Stepping back Nitro moves over to gather his own bowl, he pauses hearing Felix's next question. "Do you have any power?" Letting a breath out he takes a few moment to consider it as he hears Felix panic a little. "No reason ta be upset over askin' far as I can tell ... everyone comin' 'ere 'as some sorta power." Moving to a seat nearby Nitro settles into the chair relaxing back he takes another drink. "Don't apologize 'bout askin' but aye I 'ave a power. Guessin' ya 'ave one as well?" There really wouldn't be any point in denying he had abilities especially if everyone that arrived had one.

“’ eeloo there! Do yer guys need help wi’ anything?” Nitro looks up over to the door hearing another arrival. Nitro watches the tattooed blonde a moment before smiling a little in embarrassment, "that woulda been me. I had a disagreement with da stove." He gestures over behind him toward the large pot, "food is still good though if ya would like a bit o' gumbo. Smoke is startin' ta clear out." Hearing the man introduce himself, Nitro raises his hand, "I'm Nitro, nice ta meetcha. Why don't ya 'ave a seat?" Stretching a little he pushes a chair across from himself and Felix out toward Sebastian.

With his eyes closed and a half-smoked cigarette dangling between two fingers Cedric should have been completely at ease however he was anything but. He’d hoped that Zenith would turn out to be an adventure and overall an experience that he could enjoy yet it was hopeless from the start. While the dark comforted him with its strange embrace the power was something he would have given away in a heartbeat. It wasn’t cool nor was it useful and he didn’t want it. If anything he hated being able to control darkness for a multitude of reasons which left him doubtful about ever truly coming to terms with himself. Taking another drag from the cigarette he tried to calm down and give this place a chance. Truthfully he’d only been inside to collect all of the paperwork and learn about how things were going to work. None of the other students here had crossed his path then again he was a bit late to the party. It was his own fault since letting go of home hadn’t been the easiest thing to do, especially since he didn’t want to be here. He wasn’t doing any of this for the school but instead for his family. They could go on with their lives now that he’d left. Coming to terms with being background noise in his own family had taken time, and even now he wasn’t truly certain, but it was best for everyone.

Resisting the urge to sigh Cedric put out the remainder of his cigarette and pushed himself away from the wall he’d been casually leaning against. Automatically his eyes searched out the school building and he couldn’t believe how large it was. That raised the question about exactly how many people were going to be attending this place. It wasn’t like he could change anything so he didn’t bother searching for answers since he knew none were coming, at least not yet. Maybe meeting those that were also confined here would bring a sense of peace over him? A bitter smile sprung to life on his lips since the lie sounded ridiculous regardless of how often he attempted to make himself believe it. He didn’t want to go back in the building and instead desired to turn tail for a life into a better seeming unknown. For a moment his muscles tensed as if urging him forward with the reckless decision but soon after he was instead walking towards the doors with his belongings in hand. Doing this was the right choice regardless of how much he despised the current situation. If he was going to be investing himself in this place it would be wise to put away his things before exploring the area any further.

There were a few twists and turns during his journey even though he’d received directions from those who’d given him all of the paperwork. True be told he probably should have settled down and actually read the information that had been presented to him but Cedric was being stubborn about it. This was something that happened on a frequent basis due to his need for independence and the weight of his pride rearing their ugly heads. One glance at exactly which floor him and this supposed team of his were on was all that he’d bothered reading before tossing the papers into a random bag. He could figure everything else out without someone spoon feeding him the information and that’s all there was to it. Many may consider him an idiot for being so stubborn about not relying on directions, or even other people for that matter, but he didn’t care about their opinions. None of that matter unless he was close to a person and even then he was still bull-headed about changing his ways. Pausing in his trance like walk, after exiting his dorm room the exact path he’d taken was a bit unclear, Cedric glanced around in an attempt to figure out where he’d ended up. This was still the second floor since he hadn’t gone up or down any steps since stepping foot into the room that would be his living space for some time to come. Due to his own somewhat delayed arrival there had to be others already inhabiting the building and he’d find them eventually.

Apparently navigating the area wasn’t as simple as he’d expected it to be. Obviously it wasn’t his skills, or lack of them, so it could only be the layout of the building. Speeding up his pace Cedric turned a corner suddenly and caught sight of the same man aimlessly cleaning the building. Already he could see words bubbling up on the tip of the man’s lips and his eyes narrowed. He didn’t need any directions and would find his own way come hell or high water. Plus accepting something from someone who looked so smug and amused only pissed him off farther. “Don’t say it! I don’t require any help.” His words were already sharp due to the annoyance coursing through him at how difficult this building was to figure out and his dislike of being wrong springing to life. He’d told himself that the papers and map were of no use to him and there was no way he was going to head back to the dorm—if he could even manage to find it—for something he had deemed worthless. Huffing pass the older man, who only looked endlessly more amused by his reaction, he started back on the mission of finding his way with a new found vengeance pushing him forward. It took a couple more turns and mutterings to himself before he heard voices speaking. It could have been some staff members milling about, since he’d seen many of those on his travels, but the voices sounded like those that were closer to his own age and in turn students brought to this place due to circumstances similar to his own.

Reigning in his pace Cedric walked calmly towards the doorway where voices sounded from and refused to internally admit that he was relieved. The silence that rested heavily within the building was starting to get to him but finding others had put his worries to rest, for the time being anyway. Within the span of two minutes he was standing in the doorway of what he could only assume was a kitchen and staring at two chatting males that were inside. For a moment he faltered while wondering exactly what he should say. “Hey, what team are you two on?” Well that wasn’t exactly what he’d planned to say but it was going to have to work. His approach may have been a bit direct but there was no taking it back now so he could only roll with the situation as it was. “Ah my bad.” His teeth were practically grinding together at having to spit out an apology since his pride was adamant about never being wrong but he didn’t want to have anyone targeting him from the first day. Enemies seemed like something that was going to be unavoidable for Cedric and if these guys were on his team making trouble from the start wasn’t too bright of an idea. “Didn’t mean to interrupt your conversation or anything. Pretend I never said anything if you’d like. I promise I won’t mind. Could even leave if that would be better for you two.” It had been a while since he’d been around people that weren’t his family so his social skills were rusty to say the least. Even now his pride was steadily failing him as a more nervous emotion settled in his chest regardless of how much he attempted to shoo it away.

"No reason ta be upset over askin' far as I can tell ... everyone comin' 'ere 'as some sorta power."

Felix relaxed, somewhat, at Nitro's statement, now thinking if he might have been briefed on it by the people of Zenith. Not a surprise he could not recall a thing besides a time sectioned off for fighting? He wasn't really looking forward to that. "Oh. It must have slipped my mind..." He let out, a bit blankly as scooted his seat over to give space to Nitro as he took a seat next to him. What else did he miss when he was not paying attention to the Zenith's people? After a few minutes spent with them? He does remember being handed a piece of paper which he had placed somewhere upon entering his dorm room. He had glanced up quickly at the information for where his dorm room and what his team name was before heading there.

Still feeling leftover emotions of embarrassment, Felix gave a tug to the wire connecting his headphone to the phone in his pocket. He nodded at the redhead's returned question about him having powers, the information of them all having powers still sinking in. "Yes, but it is not really interesting." He shrugged before moving to finally settle the gnawing hunger his stomach was making.

Unsure how to proceed with the conversation, he decided to leave the topic for now and go back to answer what he have not yet done. "I listen to a lot of pop music, I think, but anything pleasant will do." A smile at the good taste the gumbo left as he went on to eat more. "What about you?" He asked before he was startled at the sound of another person's voice in the kitchen.

The blond looked up to the speaker and was surprise at the amount of piercing and tattoos that scattered around the man. It was amazing, in a way. Though, he himself can't imagine getting one with him being skittish at the idea of one touching him without that layer of cloth. It was still pretty cool to see and it just seem to fit the guy. "It taste good." He piped up when the gumbo was mentioned, tugging at the end of the long black sleeve shirt he wore. "I am Felix." A smile before glancing at the two cups set for him and dumping the shot of espresso into the larger cup.

"The café probably is too." He mentions before taking the warm drink up to his face. The fragrance was calming and oh so inviting to drink. Which he did do. It was different from how coffee is made in Paris, but wasn't too unpleasant. Probably be something to adjust to though.

Calmly he stepped trough the hall, searching for the boy he needed to find. With a simple brown folder in his hand he walked trough the abode, room after room. Wondering where his current target had hidden himself. Of course, the first thing he had tried was the boys personal room, but no matter how many times he had knocked there had been no answer. There was a point there were he had gotten so annoyed he had simply let himself in with his master key, alas the kid was no where to found, thus he continued his search. After removing all signs of entry of course.

Finally, as he stepped into the lounge room, which were to be shared by all students. He found the person he had been searching for. Quickly he lifted the folder up with his hand, inspecting the contents quickly to make sure he had the right boy, looking down and up, double checking.

Then he coughed, warning the guys in the lounge of his presence. "Excuse me for interrupting" he said politely in a rough and thick voice. "I need a word with Levi O'Neil" he explained his presence in the room, his tired hues barely blinking as there was no actual expression to be seen on the large man. His face was simply just blank, if anything: tired. ¨

For a moment he paused before directing himself towards the male Levi with a few large steps, clasping his digits gently around the males arm. "If you'd please come with me Mr. O'Neil" he commented idly, though the boy didn't have much choice in the manner, despite the polite words he were offered. With that he gave a courtesy bow towards the two other students in the room; Cho and Nico. Before the boy and man vanished beyond the curve of the wall and ventured down the hall, slipping into a room that clearly said, 'staff only'.

After a simple conversation with the male, nothing extravagant. A few mistakes his in personal file that had to be attended to and some other questions. After this simple interaction he escorted the male back to his room and left him in there. Excusing himself and walking away, vanishing trough the staff door once more.

Was it just him, or did the room get a bit more crowded?

"You can...duplicate yourself?" Cho asked in awe, blinking at the second Niko. He would hate to imagine how the male dealt with the ability as a toddler. Though a certain image of a woman opening a door to her child's bedroom only to be bowled over by a wave of babies provided to be quite amusing. The brunette nodded absentmindedly, observing the Niko clone and marveling its identical resemblance to the original one. If one were to ask him about cloning, he would have thought that each clone would be weaker than the next, just like from that one cartoon...anime? It was called Naru-two or something - Cho didn't really watch much television, save for the occasional fantasy movie.

"This is very fascinating!" he exclaimed, watching with no small amount of amusement as the Nikos began playing leap-frog. "Is there a limit to the number of copies? Completing chores and running errands must be very easy for you, as well." As the clone disappeared, he chuckled softly when the raven-head explained his habit of touching his nose. Honestly speaking, Csaba thought it was quite endearing. He himself had a habit too, one that including pressing the eraser end of his pencil to his forehead every time he drew. "You remind me of a friend I once knew long ago," he would say, smiling wistfully. "Very excitable. Energetic, sometimes childish, but back then, we were both only children. I left my motherland before I could be called a 'teenager,'" he sighed and turned his head to stare sadly into the distance, arms crossed over his chest. "Every time I picked up a pencil and paper, he would tell me, 'Csaba, your eyes are full of sky.' A szeme tele ég. To this day, I still do not know what that means."

A quiet sigh later, Cho jumped in surprise as another person suddenly appeared within the lounge. He turned to see an older man standing a few feet away, asking for a 'Levi,' which he guessed was the blond boy. Slightly worried, he watched the duo's exchange and stared after their figures as they walked out the door. A moment after they left, he returned his attention to Niko and frowned. "If I remember correctly, Levi is also in our team," he muttered, cocking his head. "...I hope he is not in trouble. He seemed more nervous than I am." After another short pause, Cho shrugged his shoulders and moved over to the sofa to grab his belongings. He folded up his drawing and picked up his pencil, placing them both in his knapsack. Wrapping his fingers around his luggage's handle, he returned to Niko and hummed thoughtfully. "Have you found your room yet, brother? If not, we could look for it. Perhaps we could also search for mine, afterwards."

He was aware that his grasp on English was better than his friends, so he didn't mind the way his words seemed to get lost for a moment. Dillan had managed to understand him in the end and they would have the time to settle into a rhythm. They weren't native English speakers and they were bound to make mistakes. It relaxed Elias more than anything, knowing that he wouldn't be judged for saying the wrong thing or saying something that didn't make sense. Then again, it was nice knowing that there was going to be someone he knew on the same team. He'd been so worried about being away from home, away from his family, but having Dillan here, it surprisingly put him at ease.

”You can vanish?” Elias' eyes widened, curious over Dillan's words. Vanish? He took a moment to figure out the word, but quickly managed to associate it with it's meaning. If Dillan could do what Elias was assuming he could, that was amazing. The fact that he had that kind of power, was unbelievable. He hadn't spent much time thinking about the fact that the people at Zenith would have different powers. He had become so accustomed to his own talents, that they had seemed like the norm. He hadn't even considered the fact that the other students here would have something different. "I can-”

“Hey, what team are you two on?” Elias' words fell short as he turned to look towards the doorway. The abrupt interruption threw him off for a moment, but he should have expected that their other team members might start showing up soon. The other man was immediately back-pedalling though, but he didn't seem to enjoy the experience of trying to apologize for his interruption. He looked rather uncomfortable with the whole situation.

”We're Fixed,” The words were out as soon as the other man had finished talking. "It's okay, we were just,” Elias waved a hand through the air as he tried to think of how to word what he was trying to say. He spoke slowly, careful of the way his tongue curled over the words. When he had the words, he couldn't help glancing up at Dillan, before looking back at the person who had joined them. ”Mm, talking about our powers.”

He did want to ask Dillan about what he could do, but his questions could wait. He also wanted to show him what he could do, if only to finally be able to share it with someone outside of his family. He'd always been careful about not letting anyone see what he could do, his Aunt had been very strict about that. As he got older, he had seen the sense in keeping it hidden, but here, here he didn't have to hide it. He grinned at the thought, already itching to use his powers and see just what he could do. Instead he lifted his hand in a small wave, ”I am Elias, and this is Dillan.”

Demonstrations of what they could do could probably wait until they'd met the rest of their team.

LOCATIONx;xThe 2nd floor kitchenxWITHx;xDillan & CedricxFEELINGx;xCuriousxOOCx;xSorry about the late post. Real life suddenly ******** me over.

Dillan felt like bouncing up and down and celebrating in a happy victory. The fact that he had this one secure person right there next to him and even on his team, was absolutely great. There was nothing that could have made the Leo any happier at the current time. This familiar stature in front of him, wouldn't go away, he would there. Working together, dealing with both bad and good. Having this sort of security was a major thing, especially for Dillan whom hated change so very much. It made his skin crawl and his heart sink, but now he felt fine. Because Elias was there and Elias was his very good friend of his for quite some time now.

With a beaming smile he nodded enthusiastically towards the darker haired male. Wanting to tell him all about it, but he wasn't sure how or where to start. After all, not only did they have the language barrier, but it was kinda difficult to explain these strange powers. Even he didn't quite understand it. Dillan knew what he was capable of, but over time he was so used to hiding it that being all showy about it was strange. Showing rather then explaining would most likely be much easier for the both of them, or so he thought. However it wasn't as if he could just do it out of the blue, Elias would most likely freak out and panic or something along those lines.

Just as his friend was about to speak again they were cut up by the arrival of a new person and Dillan turned around completely to regard the male. With a charming and beaming smile he offered a nod to encourage the new arrival. Trying to welcome the other by being laid back and well - welcoming. While he let Elias do most of the speaking, because well he was much better in the actual language then he was. Dillan would have most likely made a huge fool of himself, or them both. Either way he nodded to everything Li had to offer, completely agreeing with all of it.

"Nice meeting you" the red head tried and was quite proud when it came out not too bad, though his accent was obvious and strong. "What is your namu?" he questioned the stranger. As usual he loved people, now that he felt safe in the actual place with Elias, he was back to his normal self. Warm and social. "You in fix" he looked at Elias, once more finding the word hard to pronounced "fixd?" he attempted with a chuckle, brushing the back of his head with a casual hand as he looked at one male to the next.

Blinking he sniffed the air and turned towards whatever his friend had been making and made a odd face. "Li - what is this?" he asked, looking at the food as if it was a alien. He was so used to Asian food, especially Chinese and Japanese that this was just - too strange. Wrinkling his nose he pulled back, it didn't smell bad or anything, it was just weird. Chuckling he sauntered to the dining table and pulled out a chair and turned it , sitting down the wrong way and resting his arms against the back of the chair and his chin unto his arms, looking at them both calmly. "I wonder who.. four? is" he looked at Elias again, maybe he had a better way of saying it. Dillan meant the fourth person of the group, but he had completely forgotten how to bend his words.

Ben nearly jumped ( or rather phased through ) out of the chair he was currently sitting in when he heard hollering. What the heck was someone hollering in a library for, didn't they know the basic rules for a place like this. He automatically assumed that whoever it was they had to be another student, no teacher or staff member would come barging into a library yelling like that. He had half a mind to scare the crap out of whoever disturbed the peace in here. Of course he soon had a visual image of said perpetrator when they appeared from behind a bookcase. At first Ben was ready to speak out and introduce himself though when he caught on that he hadn't been noticed yet he decide to just stay where he was at. Either the other student would notice him or they'd be on their way,one way or another he'd simply watch how this played out.

Cocking his head to the side he could have sworn that when the other male almost knocked over a smaller bookcase that he had injured his hand, though when he turned, finally taking notice of Benjamin's presence, his hand seemed fine. Leaning back some more in the cushioned chair he wondered what kind of power he might have. Obviously it had to center around healing in some form, though he had heard there were different kinds of ways to heal and how to go about it. Before he could delve deeper into his mind and figure this out, the other male approached him, taking a seat beside him and introducing himself as Akihiko. Nodding in response he lowered the cigarette from his mouth as he looked in the other's direction. "It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Benjamin, but feel free to call me Ben."He wasn't sure how his tone often times came off, he was one of the nicest, gentlest individuals you would ever meet, though his lack of social interaction since having moved away from his parents left a lot to be desired. He had been told on multiple occasions how intimidating or 'scary' he looked.

It wasn't long after the introductions that Aki was asking him another question, he couldn't help but to laugh a little bit. He definitely seemed like the curious, exuberant type. He himself was a little more laid-back and calm though he had no problem with others that were the complete opposite of him. "I do have a power as a matter of fact, as you do yourself."He wasn't so certain yet as to whether he wanted to reveal his own power. There were times when if he was nervous, or upset in any way his power would just happen without his say, if that were to happen before he was ready to indulge anyone into his own powers then he'd have no choice. For the time being however, he had control and he wanted it to remain that way. At the mention of his cancer stick he glanced at it where it rested between his fingers. "Ah this little thing, I highly doubt I'd get into too much trouble for this. It helps me with my powers anyhow, I probably wouldn't smoke as much or at all if I was...normal."He stated rather simply.

He did think that perhaps smoking in the library itself was a no-no, but he had been alone up until Aki had burst in so he hadn't much thought about what he would do if someone caught him. "So, what are your opinions on all this? I mean, being around a bunch of other people that are like us. I thought for a while that I was the only one like myself, as I'm sure most of us did."He was insanely curious as to how others felt about being in a school meant to instill values and methods to control their powers. It seemed strange, especially the fact that they all had seemed to be summoned here at the same time. Perhaps he was skeptical, he had a life that had forced that nature into him. Glancing off to the side when he heard someone swiftly approaching them, he was a little caught off guard by the sudden appearance of another person, one of which was also hurling questions. A slight tick of the side of his mouth indicated he was a little overwhelmed at the moment. He wasn't even used to interacting with one person let alone two, but he supposed while he was here, he might as well work on that.

"Uhh hello there, I'm Ben."Before anything else could be done he had the one question thrown his way that he was regretting. Raising his free hand he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "Sorry, but for the time being I don't feel like discussing what I can do. Nothing personal of course! I would prefer to get to know everyone beforehand is all."He said with a soft smile to insinuate that he wasn't doing it because he didn't like either one of these other students ( even though he hadn't formed an opinion on either one yet ), he just felt like revealing it forthright and this early in the game wasn't the best idea.
