The Widower Father (Claude Beaumont)
There is a long line of acting accomplishments beneath your belt, along with a hefty arrest record ranging from drunken disorderlies, DUI’s, possession, and the occasional assault and battery. You had a good time, no one can blame you for that. Because of this, you’re not allowed to drive yourself, and you’ve been in and out of rehab so often, that it’s become a revolving door with you. You got worse, after your wife died, and your family life seemed to fall apart even more than usual. After the death of your wife, your eldest daughter lost her fiance to her younger sister, which caused a rift there. The eldest daughter moved out, which left your house empty, and not being taken care of properly, since new love and all that. Your only son was making himself scarce, making friends with some who would say were of a dark nature. Then came the news that your youngest daughter, the golden child, dropped out of school suddenly, without any explanation, and refused to return home after the funeral. She was disowned for a while, but then you learned from your sister-in-law why the youngest had dropped out, and…Well…There will definitely be a few surprises for Christmas this year.
The Eldest Daughter (Naren Beaumont)
An artist at heart, you fell in love with a musician…Until he ripped your heart out by ******** your sister, giving her comfort that he should have been giving you. You couldn’t stand to be in the house after that, and you packed up everything, moving without a word to anyone. Your work has changed, turning nearly violent, which has earned you a great deal more money, since violence and sex sells far better than happiness on a canvas. You’ve also been going to therapy, and it is under your therapist’s orders that you are going home for the first time in nearly a year. You’re thinking of firing him when you get home, after all, he obviously wasn’t paying attention if he thought going home would give you some sort of closure…It would most likely only lead to someone going to jail for murder.
The Second Daughter (Chasity Beaumont)
A fashion designer, your clothes are worn around the world, especially since you’ve recently started designing the show clothes for your well known musician boyfriend. You stole him from your sister, and while you might hold a tiny sense of guilt for it, you wanted him, and he wanted you, or things wouldn’t have played out the way they had. You’re happy and content, if a little moody. Other than when your father reaches out to you, you’re fairly self-involved with your darling, and the only reason you're going home is because you were always a daddy’s girl, and he asked nicely. Apparently there is some huge surprise he wants everyone there for. He even hinted at the baby of the family coming home.
The Only Son (Tony Beaumont)
The third born, and only son, you learned at a young age it was best to keep your head down. You have a bit of a gambling problem, but you think that’s far more preferable to the drugs and alcohol your father indulges in more often than not, the artistic mood swings of your eldest sister, the sullen moodiness of your elder sister, and the isolation that your youngest sister seemed to bring on herself. You’ve always lived at home because your gambling problem doesn’t let you do much more, so it’s not like you can get out of the pending family reunion. You invited a friend with a cutting sense of humor in order to get through the holiday, but you might regret that.
The Baby Girl (Anna Beaumont)
The fourth child, you were considered the golden child, academically. You didn’t take to the arts like your father, or sisters, and you were far better adept at school than your elder brother. You went away to school, and studied abroad, where you met an artist of a different sort than the rest of your family. He was covered in tattoos, and perfect, considering what you had grown up with. You fell in love, and found out you were pregnant. The school wouldn’t allow you to continue your studies, but they told you that you could withdraw, and preserve your credits, so you did. As those proceedings were underway, your mother passed, and you went home for the funeral, and witnessed more drama than you wished to, before you ran back to be with your Forever and Always. Your refusal to come home, or explain why you dropped out resulted in your father disowning you, but you had your Forever and Always, and you would be having a baby soon. Shortly after your son was born, your aunt paid a visit, and discovered all your secrets you wouldn’t tell your family. Now you are going home, after your father’s latest bout of sobriety, and his attempt to mend the fences, bringing your son, and his father.
The Drunken Auntie (Rune Bellefleur)
You are the sister-in-law to the Widowed Father, and a former Beauty Queen. You married young, and while many would say you married well, you would beg to differ. The abusive relationship left you to fall into drink, and when your husband died, you continued to drink to drown out the memories, and the guilt that you didn’t feel bad he was dead at all. While you drink a great deal, you care about your appearance, and the appearances of your family. You try to fix things, though much of the time, you simply make things far worse. Your latest attempt at fixing things has resulted in this particular visit, wanting to make sure that your prodigal niece isn’t alone with her child and baby daddy when all the potential drama erupts.
The Slutty Cousin (Aine Bellefleur)
Your mother is a drunken beauty queen, but that is fine. You’re an ex-beauty queen yourself, though you were more known for purposely bombing the contests to make a statement rather than uphold the regal, and archaic traditions of femininity. You have a habit of sleeping around, and you don’t really care if anyone knows it. You are a model, and such things are pretty much expected. Your mother is making you come in for the family reunion, and threatening you and your brother with disownment if you don’t attend.
The Thieving Cousin (Seth Bellefleur)
You’re just out of school, and enjoying your new job. You don’t have a drinking problem, or a drug problem. You keep your temper in check, and you make quite a bit of money…Stealing things. You’ve been able to keep your sticky fingers to yourself recently, but only because you’ve been afforded the opportunities for much bigger cookies elsewhere. Your dear uncle often had things sitting around his house that he wouldn’t miss, so you don’t really resent the threats that come from your drunken mother about not attending this Christmas.
The Dark Friend (Ianto Kendrick)
You’re friends with the Only Son, and he invited you to come watch all this fun this Christmas, when the family gets back together…After hearing about why some of the drama was taking place, you decided to go, expecting a cat fight, at least, to cheer and jeer over-if not outright instigate. You are well known with handling business and financial matters, which was how you met the Only Son, who had gotten in over his head with gambling debt. You are the one to kick his a**, rather than let his father know what is going on when his habits get out of hand.
The Family Friend (Nathaniel Pierce)
You are a stuntman by trade, and have long worked with the Widowed Father. You are old friends, and while you may not know all of the children, you know the three eldest, and remember the youngest from before she whisked herself away to school, and seemed to fall off the face of the earth after the funeral. Your friend is supposed to try to stay sober until the shooting can finish for a movie the two of you have recently done, and post production is underway…You were asked by the studio to make sure he doesn’t have to end back up in rehab, and you’re looking forward to the fireworks.
The Agent (Annika Delacroix)
You inherited your most lucrative client when your former boss retired. You have to keep an eye on him, and try to keep him out of trouble. You’ve learned that big money means big egos, and big babies. After The Family Friend warned you about the potential superstorm of s**t that could fly, you’ve decided to join the family for the holidays, rather than risk missing all those extra zeros on your next commissions check. This will be your first time meeting everyone, having only met the Second Daughter, her musician boyfriend, and the Only Son before now.
The Musician Boyfriend (Mac Lochlain)
You had been in love with the Eldest Daughter, or so you had thought until you met her younger sister. As time progressed, you became closer, and rather than break things off and wait some time, you got caught in bed. Not like you could have fixed it, or that you wanted to. Your traveling kept you from meeting a number of relatives, and you’ve always been a little leery of the father because of his legendary temper. You’ve been able to time your visits around when everyone else would be about, but you couldn’t get away with it this time. You’re not looking forward to the holiday.
