Well I don't think that it would be of much help in this current situation. Delta is in an enclosed space and as such can make poles and swords and whatever else he wants come out of the walls, floor, and ceiling.

It also doesn't help that they started out so close to him. xD

Her power was created by keeping in mind that it has to be unique, and advantageous in nearly every situation. However they all have strengths and weaknesses. I say Shadow has a fair shot, since he can send his blade well over twenty feet with psychokinesis, or shadow control (you're in a dark room I assume), and Valla has the weakest chance against you, since her demons getting hurt hurts her on a more 'spiritual level' ((If any of her demons die, a part of her would die too, but she can recall them just before death. As long as they're recalled they recover from most wounds over time))

Assuming the chain can extend beyond the reach then the shadow guy would have a good shot, but I was thinking more along the lines that if he tries to meld into the shadow and he's within range, then Delta could form a spike and impale him from within. Never a good thing.

Nah, in a case like that he would simply become part of the spikes shadow, not the shadow surrounded by the spike. Since a shadow has no mass, when he melds with shadows, he has no mass either, so he could fit any shape or size, and the blade can reach beyond that of the chain. Both of these powers have weaknesses that you'll have to learn for yourself if you meet him, but all my characters are constantly learning new ways to use their powers, so take caution when meeting any of them.
