Pretty much. Hilariously, Karna's got three curses and a shitty death, and his luck is D-Rank. Diarmuid had a geis that made all women fall in love with him, and he's E-Rank luck. Dear god, he sucks.

Yeah, that scene was badass. Gil's reasons for ditching the Sumerian flying machine mid-fight were quite lolzy, too.

It helps that Zero!Gil was, you know, not tainted by the corrupted Grail yet.

It also helped that he wasn't eating orphans...

Actually Slayn should app a Zero!Gil expy. He definitely has the ego for it...

I actually don't think that Alderin is just going to steamroll straight through Myr. At most they'll take Exire, Zeralia, and Aldel and use it as their base of power.

And Slayn, there would be positively no reason to 'steamroll them back'. Keiro, their leader, doesn't believe people are something that's necessary in his nation, so he slaughters everyone in the lands he conquers. The continent he took over is already empty, the generals and troops he has now are pretty much the only survivors, and they already know their time is limited cause he's not going to let them live once there's no more use for them. He can summon monstrous troops to fight for him similarly to how Zets character summons the undead. Basically off him and the invasion is over, his 'troops' will pretty much thank you and go back home and never bother Myr again...

kinda defeats the point of a tactical battle when he can just spawn replacements infinitely >_>

Costs the same as buying infantry, its just centered on him and he doesn't need to be at a fort

Slayn could easily do a straight-up Zero!Gil. It's not like we haven't had several other transplanted characters, like Drifters!Nobunaga (And once I off Martin and/or a few of the Lieutenants, Jeanne d'Arc from Apocrypha, too).

Kempf's gonna run like a b***h, so he shouldn't even die with the rest of 'em, and Renault and Aeryn are more major characters, so they'll probably live. Lute and Illyana, though... Well, since I like Lute, I'll let Ravenna revive her if she wishes. Illyana barely does anything though so she'll probably die like a dog with not enough left to revive her with.
