“Here’s your order sir, and thank you for coming to Sayuri Café!” The young female who worked inside the bright warm café smiled at her customer before handing them their order of coffee and a muffin. He was a regular customer; she knew his order right when he came through the door, unless of course he told her he was going to try something different. That didn’t happen too often though. Finally finished with her last order of the night, she pressed her body up against the door behind the counter, causing it to open with a little bit of friction, it was a heavy door. Grabbing the off-white lily hat that sat upon her head in a side-ways fashion she hung it up on her hook before grabbing her bag that was under the table and slinging it over her shoulder. Her house wasn't too far from the cafe, so she wasn't worried about heaidng back home in the dark by herself. Her older siblings would stay behind, clean up the shop and then close it fown for the night in an hour or two. Yawning, she made her way to the other side door and walked down the long hall, peaking her head into the lounge where her sister was taking her break.
"I'm going home now! Have a good close!"
After saying their goodbyes for the night, the youngest of the three working siblings,〈 TRANSLUCENT ★ STAR 〉 took her leave while thinking of all the stuff to do before she actually went to bed that night. With her small steps, the five minute walk felt more like ten and when she finally entered the large vast area that was known as her home. The steps that led up to her family's shrine were long and added an extra five minutes to the journey home, but once she got to the top her eyes caught sight of a bright light within the dark coming from the shrine off to the side from her large house. Assuming that her parents had left the lights on before heading to bed, 〈 TRANSLUCENT ★ STAR 〉 worked her way over to the olden shrine before opening the sliding door of wood and peaking her head in, "Hello? Kaa-san? Tou-san? Are any of you in here?" Not recieving an answer, the young female looked around the brightly lit shrine before sighing, no one was there. Frowning, the young female was just about to flick off the lights they recently had installed withn the shrine for easy access, until a large crash was met by her ears, "What... was that?" She asked herself, her body shaking with a little bit of fear. Swallowing a wad of spit, she shivered lightly trying to put on her brave face and wander more into the bright light that filled the shrine.
With her knees shaking violently, she pushed herself through the door and into the shrine a little more. Her family had installed more doors and more rooms within the old shrine for vistors who wished to stay over and there was no longer any room left in her house. Her father had also hired her bestfriend, 〈 REFINED ★ DIAMOND 〉 to manage the shrine and be its "maiden". Sighing, she tried closing her eyes, trying to figure out just where the sound had come from, but then she heard it again. Shivering, she pushed herself forward, not wanting whatever was there to completely wake up her parents and put them in a bad mood. Opening another one of the doors to the main hall of the shrine, she slowly walked toward the sound until she found herself in the back yard garden of her entire estate. Is this really where it was coming from? Frowning, she looked around the garden that was incased with glass walls to keep the sunlight in the view of each and all the flowers, "Is anyone in here...?" she asked, looking around the room filled with flowers of many kinds.
The cabinent located at the side of the room began to rattle and the large crash she heard before startled her, causing her to jump and scream a bit. Taking a deep breath she bit her lip before starting toward the cabinent, reaching under the cabinent she grabbed the key and stood up quickly, standing up she gripped onto the lock and with her shaking hand placed the key inside of the lock. Once unlocked, the cabinent doors broke free, a large white light emitted itself from it, and with a large clank something fell down from inside. Kneeling on the floor, she scooped up whatever had fell into her arms, unable to see it due to the light encasing it. The light dimmed down automatically with her touch and with it finally gone her eyes were able to feast upon the treasure she had found, "The Book of Kusbana..." With the title read aloud, she looked upon the front cover of the book, wiping off any dust that had landed upon it. Uncovering a scripture engraved into the front she quickly read it out loud.
The Moon and the Sun are lovers.
The stars are their paths to destiny
In a cohesive grip, the two are perfectly intertwined
However, it only takes one to break the seal
And when destiny comes knocking at the front door
The Sun won't be too far behind the Moon.
With the scripture finished, the book quickly opened upon her lap, the bright light filled the room aligned with flowers. A gust of wind rolled through the closed area, causing the pages to scatter and flip wildly. Shielding her eyes, she quickly closed her eyes, shielding them with her forearm, when it finally died down, the young girl peered into it wondering what had happened. When she looked down into the book, the pages weren't filled with anything, they were blank and hollow, cut into the shape of cards but there was nothing inside. Placing her small hand upon the page she sighed, frowning, "What the hell is this...?" But just as she spoke, a light dull blue light raised itself from the booklet in the form of a pearl, "OHAYOUUU!!!" , "A-ah! It spoke! The Pearl spoke!", "I'm not a pearl!" Blinking her eyes, she leaned in closer to the light, poking it softly, causing it to jiggle and burst into a weird form before turning back into a circle, "...Ah.... then what are you?
I'm 〈 CHIBI ★ GUARDIAN 〉, the guardian of this lovely book! And you must be the dominion! But... just to make sure, lets test out your power.... Here! Touch this flower over here and make a wish, but an easy wish... like... 'I wish that cool pearl over there would talk again!'" Raising her eye in skeptics, the young female pushed herself up from the ground and made her way toward the flower that the "soul" had been referring too. Sighing, she placed her hand ontop of it, closed her eyes and made a wish. 'I wish that cool pearl over there would talk again!'. Just as her wish was finished, the "pearl" started to speak, "SUGOI!!" With her wish coming true, the flower she had just touched began to glow with a bright light, causing the flower to shift from its regular form to a slightly larger one. The stems of the flower thickened and grew into small legs, it soon became a body and was adorned with a head.
"...UWAH!"
"KAMI-SAMA!"
"YOU DID IT!"
