The aim of this thread is to help prospective roleplayers find roleplay threads or partners and vice versa.

Please feel free to chat in the thread and help keep it alive! The more the merrier! Please don't be intimidated if the thread is busy, anyone and everyone is welcome to join us - just dive into the conversation or start your own! We love newcomers! <3

As an absolute minimum you MUST read the Important Information post on this page (post 2) BEFORE even thinking about submitting a form. If you don't, it will be VERY obvious and you will more than likely have one or more people yell at you to go back and read the first page so you might as well get it over with now. I am not responsible if you get yelled at.

Following requests from thread users, the following have been collected here for your convenience. You MUST read at least to the orange divider. As previously mentioned, if you don't it will be obvious and you will more than likely be yelled at.

✼ Post the forms in the thread! We will not acknowledge forms PM'd to the staff or TRUST Mule
✼ Do not edit the formatting of the form.
✼ There are three compulsory parts of the form:

• Username
• Literacy level
• Preferred pairings/groups
✼ Anything else in the form is optional.
✼ Literacy Level

Due to many different impressions of literacy level, we have created our own list. Use these definitions.
Please choose the one you fit most or fit most of the time, if you are in more than one.

• Semi-literate ▬ Able to write in sentences and use "these" for speech and 'these' for thought. Some punctuation used.
• Literate ▬ Able to spell accurately 95% of the time and use puncuation such as commas. Able to form detailed posts and help move the plot along. Able to double.
• Advanced Literate ▬ Near flawless spelling and grammar, consistently using good writing style (variety of sentence types, writing techniques, character thoughts etc. Consistently able to creatively move the the story along, including plot twists and unexpected outcomes. Able to include several secondary characters.
• Elite ▬ Novel style writing with extensive descriptions, detailed exploration of character thoughts, feelings and motivations. Able to include multiple, detailed characters and interact each in different ways with other characters.
✼ Because length of posts is not included in the literacy level, they now have their own section in the form. You can describe this however you wish.
✼ Pairings

This is listed in the "my roleplay preferences are" section.
You are organized by this so this part is not shown, so do not add comments to this part.
List any of the following types you fall under in your form to be listed under that in the directory.

• MvM ▬ you play a male opposite a male
• FvM ▬ you play a female opposite a male
• MvF ▬ you play a male opposite a female
• FvF ▬ you play a female opposite a female
• Group ▬ you participate in group roleplays

Although you've now read the absolutely crucial information, the rest of the thead isn't just here for fun. If you can, please do take the time to read the rest as you may find other parts useful too!

Remember to subscribe to this thread and check back often! New roleplays and roleplayers being added all the time!

If you are using the thread to find someone for a roleplay/a group roleplay but aren't planning to submit a form, please do still drop us a post to help support the thread! Every little helps!

If you're submitting a form for a roleplay that is owned by someone else, please check with them beforehand!

Please do advertise the thread with a banner or button in your roleplay or sig - after all, advertising the thread is advertising yourself, and the more people use the thread the more benefit everone will get from it!

We reserve the right to edit your form. This will usually be to fix any dodgy formatting and keep everything looking neat and tidy but may extend to adjusting the content (this would normally only be if bad language is used).

Since you're being awesome and reading everything instead of skimming the stuff in red, post the name of your favourite book when posting your form/posting for the first time and I'll tip you for taking the time to read this =)

We also reserve the right to remove your form from the directory if your account or roleplay has been inactive for an extended length of time. If this happens we will PM you to inform you and if you return and wish to be re-listed just ask and we'll be happy to help.

Finally - let us know your success stories! It's always nice to hear the thread is actually helping people! You never know you might end up getting quoted on the front page!

• 13th Febuary - The Scavenger hunt has now begun! Check the Competitions post for the first clue!
  8th Febuary - We've added 2 more events to the Valentines Day celebrations! Check the competitions post for more info. The secret admirers part requires advanced sign up so make sure you don't miss out!
  7th Febuary - To celebrate Valentines day next week we will be hosting a scavenger hunt! Check the competitions post on this page for further info!
  29th January - the thread is being re-vamped so that all the things that were previously in big, red writing are collected in one place to make it easier for people to take in and so there's less excuse for getting it wrong. We also now have our own literacy levels (see next post)! These are based on ABILITY rather than LENGTH. I will also be adding an 'Averge post length:' section to both forms to allow people who want specific post lengths from their partners to find those people easily and a prefered roleplay mediums section on the roleplayers form so you can let peopel know where you're willing to roleplay. When I'm finished with the re-vamp I will be contacting all memebers of the current directory to invite them to re-do or edit their form as required. This means we may be manically busy for a day or two with updating listings so please bear with us! Thank you for your patience and support!
  
• 26th January - Over the past few days we've had a few </3 votes for the thread and it got us to wondering why, and what people think could be better about the service we offer. So Citrus (being her usual awesome self) created a short survey to find out what you think! It's totally anonymous so please be honest so we can make the thread better for everyone! Thank you in advance for taking part! As always if you have any suggestions please let us know and we'll do our best to put them into action!
  
• 22nd January - Although the thread is now fully up and running there are still glitches (such as MxF and FxM links being the wrong way around) which I'm in the process of fixing. If you spot any such problems, typos, errors etc please let me know so I can get it fixed =)

  Due to having received some really bad news about one of my closest friends my activity over the next week is likely to be more sporadic than usual. I'll still keep the thread going and hopefully get it fully running towards the end of the month but in the meantime, if there's someone who would kindly be able to help me out by updating the directory every day or two I'd really appreciate it. If you are able to help in this way please send me a PM and I'll give you the details of the T R S T account. Having done several searches in the past and found that no one ever bothers to look at them I've come up with this idea to make finding new roleplays a lot easier for everyone. The idea is that you can use this thread one of two ways; you can apply and your details will appear on the thread for other people to see or you can browse the people already listed and contact any of them as you want.

There are 6 different pages that categorize the different types of roleplay and roleplayers that have applied to the thread. Within each of those pages are different posts to split the category further, based on literacy level. When looking at the literacy level you require I suggest also looking at the group above and below, as well as the mirror literate category, as many roleplays and roleplayers have a range of more than just one literacy level! The questions below will help you get where you need to be!

Before reading any further into this post, please ensure you have read the 'Important Information' post further up the thread. Several notes have been removed from this post and placed there, and it's crucial you read them if you want to get your form right first time and avoid being yelled at!

  Rules:
  1. To count as having referred someone they must post a form to join the directory and mention before or after the form that you referred them.
  2. No PMing/spamming random strangers asking them to join as it annoys and puts off potential members. Try inviting friends, current roleplay partners or people from other areas of Gaia. Breaking this rule will result in being permenantly banned from the competition and possibly the thread.
  3. No joining with mule accounts to bump up your referal count. This will get you permenantly banned from the contest.
  4. It is your responsibility to tell people you have referred to mention your name when they post their form. You can by all means mention this in your signature or wherever else you may be displaying our banner!
  5. In the event of a tie for any position both people will roll a 100-sided dice and the highest number will take the given position, with the lower number taking the next position.
  6. The prize list will be updated monthly to remove any awarded prizes and add any new prizes, check often as I may add a super valuable prize from time to time!
  7. Each contest runs from midnight on the 1st of each month to midnight on the last night of the month GMT.
  8. My decision is final and I reserve the right to cancel the competition or change the prizes at any time.
  
  
• "Questions" - I've written a quiz. So far it's 100 200 300 questions long but I will probably keep adding until I hit 1000! This competition involves answering each question in a seperate post in this thread. Please post the question and your answer. It would also be preferable to do this as an addition to a normal conversational post instead of just a string of questions and answers, as the whole aim of the quiz is to spark some new and random topics of conversation. Prizes are as follows:
  
  -> Reaching question 100 - 1k
  -> Reaching question 250 - 3k
  -> Reaching question 500 - 6k
  -> Reaching question 1000 - 10k
  
  That's a total of 20k for completing the whole thing! When you reach one of these numbers PM me the page number so I can check it and award your prize! Before being invited to THE Roleplay Search Thread, my role play life was completely different. User interaction in my role plays wasn't all that great, performance was terrible, and it was so hard finding a person to play a pimp to my prostitute!
