Say something. It turns to s**t. Deny ever saying it.
While people continue to harass and question my denial and motives, it leaves them with two options:
Either I'm currently crazy, and they leave the situation alone.
OR
They think I'm crazy, and they leave ME alone.

Either way, I find myself left alone.
