The book of me says; On the exterior, Akihiro is a typical Asian kid- one who excels in every class and extracurricular activities, too. However, unlike many students, he's very traditional and restrained to following his culture's honor codes. He's very much in touch with his past, so when he deals with situations, he's very dignified and has a lot of charisma. Because he doesn't believe that many words are necessary to express a point, he doesn't make comments too often or participate in very many oral activities with people. He's unhealthily isolated, preferring to use his time wisely to either sharpen his skills or gain more knowledge from his ancestors. When he does try and fit in with the crowd, it becomes very awkward, so he doesn't try at all anymore. Most likely, he doesn't know what a "hamburger" is because he's always sipping tea and dining on traditional food back at his dorm. He's been shut in for so long that he doesn't know how to adapt to the outside world without acting like a fool.
He's not exactly cold to other people; in fact, he's decently nice and is polite to most of his peers. He doesn't intentionally ignore people because he's vain, but rather chooses not to speak to them because he's secretly insecure. He's the typical loner who wants to socialize but can't because his conscience is too afraid of being rejected. Akihiro's always calm- so laid-back that you wouldn't ever guess that he could be capable of flipping his lid. He has a mysterious aura about him- you may stare into his eyes and see the saddest story behind it or read a relatively happy past from his gaze. He doesn't like to say much about himself and prefers to know more about others. Akihiro doesn't smile very often in public, but getting him to crack a grin is nothing short of easy. He laughs at the cheesiest jokes and tenderly smiles without one even trying.
For someone who tends to give off a 'don't talk to me' aura, Akihiro is actually sensitive. However, he's not the type to express that he's offended. Usually, he shrugs it right off with a blank stare. In short, he's a lot more self-conscious than he takes himself for.
The thing called my life; Like all normal children, he grew up between loving parents in a feudal town located off the borders of Osaka. Not many people visited this pathetically populated village, but there was a shrine that many tourists and foreign monks came to visit once in a while. Instead of going to the nearest public school that was located nearly five miles away, Akihiro's parents decided to put him under the intensive care of a local monk. His personal teacher not only expected him to be a great warrior in the end, but he filled his undeveloped head with brash stories about demons and brave heroes always slaughtering these paranormal creatures to protect peace. Instead of learning basic math and studying literature, Akihiro learned from the old monk that he was special- he had a power that no ordinary student had, and it was his responsibility to handle that strength for the good of mankind.
On the eve of his 7th Christmas, his mother fell ill with a chronic disease, and she was sent away to a larger clinic to be hospitalized. He hadn't heard much about her since, but Akihiro had recently received the news that she had gone insane and was being kept custody by a mental institute in Tokyo. Without his mother, Akihiro didn't have so much as a soft hand to raise him beautifully. Instead, his father beat the realization into him that he was expected to be the man of the house someday. He was special, and like his father, he needed to know how to properly wield that skill and become anything but the minority and the weak. Since then, Akihiro went into backbreaking labor and training without complaint, having been forced to believe that this was his destiny and nothing else. He didn't know what comfort or what defined an ordinary student's life. He bowed and prayed until his knees bruised and lips ran dry, and he worked with his trusty katana like it was his best friend, becoming stronger under his master and father's watchful eyes.
They soon realized that they couldn't keep him here any longer. A well-educated warrior needed to expand his horizons, right ? His father promised him a better lifestyle at a public school, and at first, Akihiro passionately protested because he knew nothing about fitting in with other people let alone working and training in the same area as them. He was frightened of socializing, but he was sent to SH anyways with high hopes of learning something he hadn't already. What his father wanted him to learn while he was there ? Friendship and love.
My favorite crayon; THIS and THAT.
DJ, play that music louder; NEWS - Taiyou no Namida 太陽のナミダ
Oh yeah, I forgot; Being a biological descendant of the Fūjin, Akihiro also has a second form that he transforms into at contact with the first gleam of the full moonlight. Similar to how a human would shift into a werewolf, Akihiko becomes a bulkier form of himself at first, then gradually and painfully reverts into his dragon form. Instead of being the stereotypical creature known for their sleekness and beauty, Akihiko actually takes on traditional Japanese dragon appearances, becoming more threatening than docile and beastly rather than elegant. In both human and creature form, he's able to control the wind, but only in very dangerous degrees. Being an inexperienced god, he doesn't do anything but harm things when he puts his powers to use. Right now, he's attempting to use his learned wind manipulation skills in sync with his katana techniques.
Special thanks to; HOONRORO.
