Ethes Ieriane Jhaddet, Prince of Air

Appearance: He might look sixteen, but he's eighteen. Promise. But this isn't normal apparel for him. After the Warden went through the major cities of the world drawing the garments he saw, Ethes pieced together a style for this wedding and set the Air Kingdom tailors to work. So here he is, 5'7" with cream gold wings and a lithe build, dressed in something resembling appropriate attire. That mess of brown-gold hair is never going to change, though.

Personality: Ethes has a high opinion of himself, ranging from clever to good-looking to debonair. It's really best to leave him thinking that way. But don't let yourself turn your back on him, or he will get into something he shouldn't. He's the curious sort and considers nothing to be none of his business. The more he's told no, the more likely he is to overstep his boundaries. Although, truth be told, Ethes rarely does anything himself. Usually he sends someone else to nose around on his behalf while he makes a mess of things elsewhere.

Bio: As the very last son of the Air Kingdom, there wasn't much left for Ethes. The kingdom's attention on his brother, their doting on his sister, and all that left was their silent prayers for Ethes. Not that he was neglected, not by any measure. Ethes grew up under a well-rounded panel of instructors. Flight, history, literature, music and the arts... All in regard to the Air Kingdom, of course. He did well across the board, nothing special. Except in flight, which Ethes feels comfortable saying he mastered in a surprisingly short time. He'd even go so far as to say he made maneuvers no one else had thought of before.

And he'd later apply them to going where he shouldn't. See, he knew how to get attention if he wanted it. Losing it afterward became the challenge. But then again, he never saw the issue with being in trouble. It wasn't as if imprisonment was an option. And as long as he could fly, what did Ethes care what they did? It was almost more fun when they tried to stop him from getting around. After the chase, he was too excited to be upset. Honestly, half the reason he visited other Air Kingdom cities without anyone knowing was because of their reaction once he was caught. Same goes for all the pranks he pulled in between. Hiding robes, tomes, and sometimes evidence of his other pranks, it was all to see what they would do. Isn't that close enough to caring about someone to count?

Other: Ethes has a small habit of rolling coins over his knuckles. Up, down, over both, whatever he feels like. It's an absent-minded hobby.

Zecele Uve, Youngest Princess of Fire Kingdom

Appearance: The youngest of the Fire's royal children, Zecele is of nineteen years of age. As many of her race, she is tall (5'7" ) and slim in figure, as well as toned due to her peripatetic military lifestyle. Her stay in the Wilderness has tanned her skin. Zecele has neck-length black hair and eyes speckled with gray-green, which at times reflect the colours of her surroundings. She dresses in often revealing but otherwise practical wear - but this selection shifts occasionally. It is only after her return that she has come to appreciate the luxury of silks and finer cloths, and takes every chance to accentuate her body. Zecele is little for modesty when it comes to her wings - draconians of deep green scales, her pride and support.

Personality: A free spirit, Zecele has had a history of trouble complying with the wishes of others, instead of her own whims. From her youngest, she was known for her boisterous nature, cat-like ferocity and unbridled tongue. At other times - she was artful and thorough - especially in her methods of obtaining what she wanted and did it in such a way as to remain unidentified. This was mainly linked to her enjoyment of witnessing the eventual discovery of her schemes by the afflicted and third parties. Excitable, thrill seeking and then still immature, the princess was prone to impatience and hastiness of action. The experience of the Wilderness changed her in many ways; some would say she matured. The mischievious silence about her thickened, her focus doubled.... Otherwise, she remained the same. Despite being raised in the belief of superiority, she draws little distinction between class or gender - and is more interested by the other races than she shows. She is far more quicker to judge where skills are concerned.

Bio: In accord with tradition, her elders - sister Talfryn and brother Kaedis - were raised in a manner befit for future monarchs. Zecele growled before she spoke, the savage child. From her youngest, she was left to do as she please and left unchecked as she was, the range and number of these whims had no end. During this time, the princess found various creative methods of entertaining herself; exploring and learning of what she knew nothing about, reaping trouble where she appeared, and evading the courtmaster's half-hearted attempts at implanting her with a proper education or adequate mannerism.

Throughout those first years she had many playmates. For a time, she rolled with Kaedis - but with his crystalizing ambitions soon clouding his sense of 'fun' - she sought other company. She preferred to run with the peasant children - and they ran rampant. It was not until her seventh year, that she would find a playmate that could keep up with her tempo. At that time, she had intruded upon a council meeting, during a mostly successful attempt of tying together both of the standing guards with thick thread. Instead of punishment, her father praised her and gifted her with a desert lynx, whom she called Skygge. Long story short, this did not discourage her in her almost feral ways. From thereafter, it was always dragon and caracal, a whirlwind of green wing and sandy fur to omen what had been done or yet to be done.

At the beginning of her tenth year, she began proper military training. There, her untamed nature was curbed with discipline and vigor redirected at a more benefitting cause - she learnt the way of the sword. She soon proved to be a capable fighter, agile and quick, with a flair for the smaller blades. Stealth over raw power, deceit over honor; that became her battlefield creed. It was expected that she would take a permanent place among the Warmaidens of the Fire, alongside Talfryn, where she would continue the legacy. That is why, her appeal for reassignment into the infamous Basamortua Legion was as surprising as it was controversial. They were an independent branch of the army and the only one that accepted both sexes; a group which scoured and ventured into the farthermost parts of the Kingdom, deemed even by miners as much too hostile. Though criticized for her immaturity and thrillseeking, as well as suspected of having been seduced by the Legion's leader (Malev Haran), her wish was granted.

For two years she had been in the Wilderness; her name fading in the minds of the people but not quite forgotten. Yet, the news of the betrothal cut through her world, harshly reminding her of her fate. Alas, this matter presented itself as one she could not work against and this knowledge made her return to the Capital all the more bitter. There is but one advantage that she sees in this development; given that she was not before allowed to travel outside of the Fire's borders before, the betrothal presents the perfect opportunity to satisfy her curiosity of neighboring lands and of unknown creatures they inhibit. Meanwhile, the Court remains in a state of incertitude about her being a suitable partner for marriage any longer, the Wild known to take its toll on those who venture it and no doubt on her as well.

Ashita Hawkins, Servant of Air

Appearance: Ashita is twenty-three. That is her age there is nothing apparent about it. She was not older then she looked. She sported long black hair that lays against her dark skin. Her eyes are dark brown, almost black in color. Her wings unlike the white wings the royals wore, she had a pair of black wings. She is always seen wearing the gold collar of the royals. Showing she is owned as a servant.

Personality: She is kind, but can hold her ground on temper as well. Just like yin and yang she needed both to keep her sane. She will always be kind to those who are kind back to her. The moment a person disrespects her she is happy to retaliate. Now if you are her enemy don't expect to see kindness at all. She will show no mercy, just pain. She is a brutal person when it comes to protecting the royal family. She will lay her own life on the line to protect those who own her. She is very loyal to Bora and will be seen by him when he needs her. She doesn't talk very much, but she will keep up a conversation with Bora.

Bio: Ashita doesn't remember much about her past. Like who her mother was or even who her father was. She remembers everything after she was taken into the palace by the king. He had found her one day in their courtyard with a broken wing when she was seventeen. She was unable to fly away or even protect herself. She was to be given to the eldest son as a present, the male known as Bora took her in. Understanding full well what her purpose was. She was there not only as a shield to him, but also to bear an heir when he was ready. Seeing as she was a native to the kingdom, but she also understood she was was not of royal blood so she will just stay by the eldest prince side. Swearing to never fall in love with him either.

Other: As a lowly servant she will obey anything demanded of her.

Theron Mathis Arvin Raev, Eldest Prince of Earth Kingdom.

Appearance: 25. Tall ( 6' 3" ), thin, and with a lovely tail and ears of brownish-orange with both darker and lighter accents. His eyes match his hair, and although most of his skin is very pale, he has darker tan / orange-brown areas on his shoulders, neck, and the top half of his face, with it being slightly more orange right around his eyes. He does wear clothing made from expensive fabrics and exceptionally well-tailored, but always insists on everything he wears being absolutely comfortable. Rule of thumb: if it's not comfortable enough to sleep in, he won't wear it. He tends to dress as casually as he can get away with, but certainly will dress up when it is necessary. He favors wearing earthy tones, blues, greens, and gold, but also likes some purple. He tends to avoid wearing orange because he feels like it'd just be a little bit too monochrome, as would wearing all browns and tans. Aside from those preferences, he doesn't care too much about fashion, what is in style or anything like that. He doesn't mind if his tailors dress him in fashionable things, as long as they make it fit comfortably.

Personality: Caring towards his immediate family and generally friendly towards most who haven't gotten on his bad side, he doesn't actually have much in the way of close friends. He presents himself as being easygoing and wanting to put everyone else at their ease. Though he's learned all the formalities and "proper" behavior that he was required to, he prefers to only use it when necessary and instead likes to be as casual as he can get away with. He favors trade over war, but that doesn't mean he is never ruthless in business dealings. He just prefers to get his way by offering people the right combination of trade arrangements, alternatives, incentives, sanctions, and deterrents--rather than use unnecessary force or conflict. War disrupts trade, and his kingdom grew rich on trade. Thus, he dislikes war and other visible forms of conflict, and he is very keen for this entire treaty to be successful in establishing peace between all the kingdoms. He is also adamant that agreements must be kept, never broken. If re-negotiation becomes necessary, then that can be acceptable, but he generally views broken deals and unkept promises as being among the very lowest of shameful acts.

Bio: Being the eldest child of extremely rich royalty, he was raised in luxury--and although strictly schooled, was a little bit spoiled in most other ways. He was keen to learn all he could (not only what his parents and tutors prescribed) but as he grew older he began to test how much he could get away with being less formal than he was taught to be. In his position, his parents have been fairly indulgent in this respect, as long as he's continued to demonstrate that he can be very seriously formal and proper when they demand him to be, or when it is necessary for business dealings.

As for business dealings and trade, he has always been good at figuring out what kinds of deals to offer people, based on who it was who the trade was to be officially offered to, and who it was who had the real power to decide on it. He loves tailoring arrangements for specific situations, always trying to find the right combination of incentives to offer people and the right way to present it such that they will undoubtedly want what they are offered rather than take the alternative they will end up with by turning the offer down. He is outwardly friendly when it will work best for presenting business offers, but can be very formal, serious, or even severe or harshly impatient in manner if that is what will work best. However, in spite of learning quite a lot about it, he never cared for practicing the kind of incredibly subtle manipulations that his younger sister Pernille is fond of.

Since he will never practice that kind of manipulation enough to be as good as Pernille and he does recognize that she is very good at it, he includes her in many of his plans--especially when the situation is in dealing with someone who is visibly supposed to be the one to accept or decline a trade offer, but in fact someone else has the real say over it, such as when the head of a powerful family in the earth kingdom is a man whose wife is actually the one who makes all the decisions behind the scenes. In such cases, the prince will present the specially-tailored deal to the head of the family, while his sister has been previously deployed to work her charms on the wife. If Pernille is metaphorically like the royal family's secret weapon in getting what they want, the prince is like the weapon that they let everyone see for what it is.

Speaking of manipulation and family...
He cares about his family very much and likes to spoil his sisters every bit as much as he always liked being spoiled himself. If his sisters want a favor or a gift, they generally have only to ask (as long as it doesn't require him breaking a promise or something equivalently distasteful) ...since he makes it so easy for them to get what they want by coming right out and telling him, there is no need for them to manipulate him for it. In fact, although he encourages them to be able to manipulate others when necessary, he will actively discourage them from trying it on him if they do try. He has learned plenty enough about how to manipulate people that he is really good at spotting it; he feels like his learning of such things serves him best by making it harder for other people to manipulate him. Truly, the harder one tries to subtly manipulate him, the more likely he will do exactly what they don't want and/or call them out on it. But, like with his sisters, if someone else from his close family or who is on his good side asks a favor of him, he is likely to agree to it just because they asked openly, much more likely than if they tried to hint or suggest or manipulate him.

Other:
Quick note on names:
Theron = Ceremonial name, used in official capacity and for regular citizens or servants to address him by
Mathis = (or Mat) Personal name, to be used only by immediate family members
Arvin = Diplomatic name, used by equals outside of family, high-ranking nobility and leaders
(also may be used by military leaders when at ease and not using their own titles)
Raev = the Family name, of course!

He has had training in fighting and combat, but didn't actually end up fighting in any of the battles of the wars. (he has, however, defended himself in certain melee situations outside of war) Once he was considered old enough, the king and his generals put the prince in command of the soldiers guarding the main palace, where there were regular drills and practice--but the rest of their army prevented any hostile forces from getting close enough for the palace guard to see battle. However, most of them were seasoned veterans who had already been involved in fighting elsewhere before being posted there. There wasn't much need for the prince to do any actual commanding of troops aside from listen to reports from the commanders--but one thing he did do, was to recruit as many pixies as he could to join the palace guard so that he could count on having a regiment of them which could easily hide all around the grounds and the buildings where they could be ready to surprise attackers when they'd least expect it. He authorized them to have their own general and report to him instead of having to take orders from the other soldiers, so that they could post their own guards and keep their movements and positions more secret. The other soldiers know there are pixies about, but have no idea how many of them there are, where they are most likely to be found, or what their orders are.

Pernille Kaia Merete Ræv, Younger Princess of Earth

Appearance: Nineteen, looks about 17-19 years old. Tends to wear more clothing that creates beauty at the sacrifice of mobility in public, but completely reverses the trend outside of the public eye. Liking the colors of the Light Kingdom, she frequently uses Light inspirations in her dresses and jackets. Knowing how that might play into politics, she's always sure to mix her Light inclinations with heavy usage of Earth block prints, embroidery technique, and fabric choice.

In her kitchen, her favorite place in the world, she wears a black chef's jacket and loose pants. The jacket has long sleeves that go over the hands. These sleeves bear additional padding so that she can pick up hot objects without burning herself.

She has hair that she keeps dyed somewhere between a burnt orange and a platinum blonde. She sometimes shows her true hair color, but makes it a guessing game to keep an air of mystery. When she really wants to fuel this game, she makes sure to hide her tail and her ears beneath clothing, hats, or her own hair! Her eyes are dark green, reflecting lighter shades of green in sunlight. She has a height of 5'7" and has a slightly heavier build. No tan graces her skin and she remains quite pale.

Personality: This princess has always borne a very dramatic and flamboyant character. As a young child, she was bratty and demanded constant attention, resenting her siblings for the attention they received. Like most children placed as the youngest of the family, she learned very quickly that comedy and theatrics can get you what you want. Over time, she learned how to manipulate. However, at this point, she comes off as harmless and sweet to all that meet her, and only on occasion a little bossy.

Of course, that's what she wants. It's much easier to get people to do things for you if you are polite and kind about it. She knows how to place pressure socially and emotionally, but she prefers to make webs of contacts in order to help build toward her personal goals.

Would classify as a Type A personality or as a "Red" personality IRL (from the "What Color is Your Parachute?" series.) Her second color would likely be a tie between yellow and blue.

Bio: Merete had a strong interest in theater in her childhood. Her parents allowed her a few sets in which she could play out stories, and was allowed to perform a few shows before the Earth's noble court. At the time, her personality was a little too harsh and demanding for her to become the darling of the kingdom. Her greatest enjoyment showed in theater and in directing others.

However, as she eased into being a teenager, she became much sweeter and sunk into diplomacy like a fish into water. Keeping a pleasant relationship with each of the kingdoms became one of her main focuses in her upbringing. While her importance was overshadowed by both of her elder siblings, she was determined to outmatch them in courtly behavior. The intensity of her interactions frightened many at first, but she learned how to use her dramatics very effectively.

She particularly made friends with merchants and suppliers to the main palaces of the Earth kingdom as she showed ample skill in cooking. To this day, she swears that she escaped into the kitchens in order to avoid yet another singing lesson. (She's never been able to pick up the traditional form of singing among her people, but can make do with other traditions.) Her extra food goes to the poor of her kingdom, and the royal almshouse always is fueled with enough scraps to feed the beggars for at least one meal.

Currently, she is uniting all of the guilds related to food and drink in the Earth kingdom, working with her parents to create new laws regarding safety, inspection, and quality among her people. She has brilliant talent for public policy, and enjoys reading about other cultures and the artistic trappings of other civilizations. Knowledge does fancy her, but she would prefer to act and execute policy as opposed to reading about abstract theories unlikely to produce any results.

Other: Merete is the name that she bears when interacting with others as a diplomat and with equals outside of her family. Her family members speak to her as Kaia. Inferiors refer to this princess as Pernille. Pernille is also her ceremonial name and is how all (non-noble) citizens of the kingdom are to address her.

Merete is well-read (though not as much as some other characters due to her own theater performances and cooking) and quick-witted. She does not openly bear skill in any fighting styles or skills of war (besides excellent logistics.)

Challas Bourdan, Soothsayer of Air

Appearance: Challas is 28, and looks about 24 due to his rounded features. His black hair kept long, but is kept tucked away underneath his prayer shawl. He has large gray eyes that have a wide range of expression. His skin tone is white. (Would look a fourth-Korean, three-fourths German in real life terms,) and he bears large white, blue, and black wings in a scrubjay's pattern. His right wing has a long scar where no feathers grow from when a knife cut into him as a young child.

A batik-dyed tunic along with cotton leggings and leather chaps is Challas' normal outfit. A prayer shawl worn around the neck and head marks him as a soothsayer. Especially when it gets colder, he wears a thick jacket that matches his prayer shawl. He likes to dress in vibrant batik-dyed clothing, made with many blue and teal dyes patterned in symbols representing the seas and the skies. However, he is not a fan of the other scholars' flowy robes, and prefers to keep the style and cuts of his clothing highly utilitarian. He tends to mock the other scholars' clothes, stating that he has better things to do than to sit around all day in something more appropriate for sleeping.

Keeps a small, white leather bound book chained onto his right pocket for easy reference to a series of matters that he usually has to flip through, such as phrases in foreign languages for visiting dignataries, current to-do lists, and current reports and notes on different people inside and outside of the castle. This "book of days" also has the ritual doxology of the entire year scripted into each day. (He undertakes the effort to make this book himself for each year near the year's end.)

Challas wears a double-strand necklace of spherical opal and blue tourmaline beads, interspersed with decorative beads of hollow silver. A simple white leather pouch attaches to his belt, which wraps around his tunic and under his jacket. Blue feathers are woven into his hair on holidays that do not require him to be present anywhere as a spiritual keeper of the royal children. He also wears a silver and platinum torque with slight decoration of winds and clouds, showing that his rank as an advisor of the Air court.

Personality:

Challas is usually fairly quiet, preferring to observe than to comment. His predictions of trends and people are very often accurate, but he tends to be sharper and more sarcastic than he means to be, coming off as stony and cruel at times. Due to his responsibilities and the stress they create, he tends to be sharp and exacting. He's not good at apologizing well, as he doesn't tend to come off as sincere, although he very often is. He has no problems with getting messy or dirty, and doesn't mind being the one to do filthier tasks when no servants are around. He treats his peers as he treats himself: coldly professional.

Challas is incredibly loyal to the Air faction, understandable due to his background as a ward of the palace. He has an objective mind that renders him too cold for some situations, and tends to be abrasive for the sake of the Air kingdom. He has trouble loosening up to have fun, but does well once he understands that the situation isn't rife with possible intrigue or political meaning.
Oddly, he treats frogs and other amphibians with a highly gentle kindness.

Bio:He was born to a peasant family who left him at the palace as a child during a particularly strong famine (he was lucky to not have been killed; the family had been on the verge of poverty in the first place.) He doesn't like talking about his life before the palace.

The servant that found him at first had him work in the kitchens scrubbing potatoes. An injury to his right wing (supposedly a dropped knife) delivered him to the hands of the doctors of the palace, who worked with the soothsayers at times to handle death rites. A team of soothsayers had been present that day due to the death of a royally favored noble of a lesser house. Two soothsayers noted the ‘white trees in his eyes’, referring to a milky pattern in his gray eyes that supposedly marked talent for religious studies. Challas was drafted to become a soothsayer, although he personally was determined to learn more about politics. He was assigned to perform the religious duties for the royal children under the care of a supervisor, due to his lack of connection to any of the noble houses of the Air people. It made him a very unlikely candidate for any sort of political mischief.

At this point, he is a well-versed political analyst and knows thousands of rituals and verses of the state religious rites. Thanks to his own brown-nosing, he has been seen as a possible candidate for High Priest over the Air Kingdom when he reaches forty years of age.

Other: Challas has many doubts about the truth of the auguries and divination techniques of his people, but continues in his duties as it's a needed role. Exerting faith and control through ritual brings peace to many, and he cannot deny it.

As a servant of the royals, he has trained in archery and daggers to protect the royal family if necessary. He's not terribly good at it, but if bad went to worse, he could hunt for himself and others. He's too clumsy with a bow to make for much of an assassin. However, he has studied some aspects of anatomy extensively due to the traditional animal sacrifice to begin royal Air feasts. It may not be the best idea to get into a knife fight with this angel.

Voice Actor - Troy Baker (as in The Last of Us.)

Reyyn Soreth Tenebris, Royal Guard of Darkness

Appearance:His typically stern expression makes him appear slightly older than his years, but in reality he's only twenty-eight years of age and his aging process has begun to slow down. The majority of his appearance is from his mother's Tengu heritage, including his striking green eyes and ebony hair. On his back are large black wings of which he is very proud and preens regularly. Reyyn stands at just over six feet and two inches tall and sports tattoos on both shoulders. His forearms hands, and legs from the knee down are covered with fine feathers and end in sleek black claws.

Personality:Reyyn is by no means a social butterfly. Instead, he prefers to practice battle strategies, daydream, read or spend time with his mother. To those outside of his small circle of friends, he often comes across as aloof or just plain cold and harsh. His seeming disinterest in those around him tends to turn others away, and even those persistent enough to carry on a conversation with him will often only receive the most basic responses. Those lucky enough to get past the distant exterior are rewarded with moderate affection. Only his mother and a select few are exempt from his distant nature, for whom he is very protective and dotes on regularly. Others of his kind are met with an immediate hatred.

Bio: Reyyn's mother could be considered the most unlucky concubine no longer belonging to the Air Kingdom's king. Because the queen seemed unable to conceive at the time of their marriage, the king turned to his most favored concubine to give him an heir. Their union was a success, and they were rewarded with a beautiful male heir. He was groomed to become the next in line for the throne, but the birth of a "true heir" two years later had him displaced.

Despite now being considered a b*****d son, Reyyn and his mother were allowed to live in the Kingdom as a servant and the whipping boy to take punishments for his half-brother's misbehavior. This lasted for five years, until his mother, sick of their predicament (despite Reyyn's important status) and spiteful over her son's loss of the throne, begged the king to reconsider the heir apparent. When that failed, she spread rumors (and truths) about the children and her own mistreatment. Unfortunately, as all rumors do, they circulated back to the royal family. Perhaps because the queen harbored jealousy, or simply because she saw severe punishments more befitting than leniency, Reyyn's mother was beaten for her treachery and her wings were broken.

The two were chased out of the Kingdom and fled to the Darkness Kingdom where Reyyn's mother originated. Reyyn learned from his uncle, with whom they stayed, that Tengu are a crossbreed between a certain species from the Darkness Kingdom and the Air Kingdom, and were far more accepted in the former than the latter. This information somewhat skewed the young and impressionable youth's viewpoint on his former home. He began to let go of his fond memories there and hold a grudge for what his mother had suffered.

Reyyn learned from his uncle how to fight and maneuver in battle. He admired the man, who was part of the Royal Guard. It became his ambition to follow in his uncle's footsteps, which he eventually did. He has since been appointed to the elite group accompanying the prince's journey.

Other: Because his mother's wings never healed properly and she can no longer fly, Reyyn despises all of the Air Kingdom. His loyalty lies completely with the Darkness Kingdom.

「Senka Cashile」, Chevalier of Air

Appearance: 21 Years of Age, he stands around 76 inches tall, looming over most. His hair is a warm silver, and his eyes are a mildly luminescent green.
His long, slender wings stay politely tucked into his back until needed. He almost seems empty a majority of the time, to the dismay and slight alarm of those he encounters. His gait is straight-backed and elegant, and his smiles are perfumed with an air of secrecy. At first glance he seems to just be a well-behaved right hand to the Air Kingdom Royalty, but when he's brought to the meeting of the Royals, it becomes obvious that nothing about him is as it seems.

Personality: He seems distant to most, a quietly polite young man when around company. He keeps himself in perfect form when around others, carrying himself with dignity and grace. Though if you manage to get past his polite face, he is a very dark being.
He is burdened with scars that brought out a very sardonic, passive-aggressive, snarky personality underneath what he shows others. It's very rare that he'll break face. It'll take someone who can see in the dark to find who he truly is.

Bio:Raised in the "underbelly" of the Air Kingdom, he was trained from a young age to serve and protect, and nothing short of perfection was accepted. Beatings and reprimanding came with mistakes, taking a young boy with hopes and light in his heart and creating a dark, empty shell fine-tuned to servitude. He learned how to fight, how to comfort and protect his charges, and how to keep himself out of trouble as much as possible. When the new royals had come of age and in need of a Chevalier their age, his Keepers put him up. He proved himself in the Trial of the Warden and earned his place among the Air Kingdom's best.
He officially met the Warden when he auditioned as a young teen, but otherwise doesn't know him very well.
When the marriage was called, he felt a wrench in his gut. Why? He wasn't quite sure, but something was going to happen. Something that would destroy his years of work... Something that would change everything he's ever known.

Other: He is intimidated by and admiring of The Warden, and he is protective of the Younger Princess. He seems very unapproachable, but is polite when spoken to.

[Nemari - Rosevain], Royal Guard of Flame

Appearance: Nemari is a prized warrior and all the land could wish for in a royal guard. Currently she is about twenty three but with her ever slowing age process she only appears around eighteen. She carries all distinct traits of the realm, elegant curving horns, skeletal wings whose matching tail has proved many times over to be a instrument for death. Her eyes are like flame, lovely and ever changing like looking into a healthy fire on a dark night. Her body is strong and made of lean muscle from her endless attention to battle training.

Personality: Nemari is a suborn and bold woman, she has a eye for what she wants and always sets her sights high. She can be very blunt and only gives respect to those she deems worthy of it.

Bio Nemari is one of the greatest warriors of the nation to have risen in her own generation and perhaps for a few beyond her as well. Proof that the noble flame and the dark throne once shared a kingdom she carries noble blood of both kingdoms in her body. Horns and tail from her fathers lineage and wings with eyes of flame from her mothers...not to mention her talent and lust for battle.

Nemari was on the lists to join the Royal guard almost from birth, seeing as her mother was a great warrior and her grandmother and so on. The RoseVain family, especially the woman are all prided upon who high in the rank of the warrior they can climb. Nemari was put into training immediately and much to everyone pleasure quickly exceeded even the most wild of expectations. Though she has mixed feeling about this arrangement for the royal merging she holds it as the highest of honors to be asked to travel with the royal party.

Evalynn Dawn Binvilenca, Princess of Light

Appearance: Evalynn is seventeen and appears just that, though perhaps more devolved them some her age. She is tall, 5'10 or so and very graceful with long limbs and elegant neck. She has curls like her sister, thick and bouncy her hair cascades around her in lovely lavender tented ringlets. Her eyes are oddity, large and luminescent they almost seem to glow if seen in the dark...a blending of sliver and amethyst. and being as she is of the kingdom of light her skin is of course dark, as dark as night ironically enough.

Personality: Evalynn is a lover of the arts, she has mastered just about ever instrument shes ever laid her hands on. Happiest when she is dancing, singing, playing music or learning a new way to do such things. Full of joy and ever the optimist Evalynn has a thirst for adventure and new discovery as well as a deep love for her family and the highest regard for her older sister.

Bio:Evalynn had a fairly normal childhood, her life in short is and always has been just about story book perfect. Her family is loving and her country free of war or strife...and as one of the younger royals the stress of the looming responsibility's had always been less for her then for her sister or brothers. Evalynn was a happy child and had grown into a spirited joyful young woman with many talents and gifts...and great beauty if you will excuse the vanity of her saying so.

Evalynn has a deep love for her family, idealizing her older sister above all others. One of the few hardships Evalynn ever suffered was whispers about her eyes...her strange eyes. But not as many whipers as about her sisters eyes...and she loved Amirora's eyes...they were beautiful beyond compare. Amirora was so wild and free, Evalynn admired that about her...always being more the type to toe the line herself. She loved to listen to her sister talk about far off places and tell tales about all of her adventures and curious wondering.

When the treaty was announced there was a lot of unrest in the kingdom, many of the citizens disliked the idea. After all, the light kingdom did not need the treaty. Evalynn was not to be included in the treaty as only her only siblings were matched for royal wedding, however she had pleaded with her parents to let her go if only to return after the initial meeting. She wanted to see the world...to meet those who would be wedding into her family...

River Bellamy Raev, child princess of the Earth Kingdom

Appearance: River is 7 years old and looks it, though she often goes around with a serious face and has been told she is mature for her age. The sometimes mischievous glint in her green eyes sometimes spoils this aura she wishes to give off.

Her hair is golden blond that shows the promise of either becoming so blond it will be silver like her oldest sisters or becoming strawberry color to try and match her brothers. Who knows, it might just stay the same color as the sun. She has plenty of time to grow into her beauty and in no way wants to rush growing up; she likes being 7 and feels it's her perfect age. Her ears and tail match the ankle length locks though her tail is topped with white to match the tufts of fur coating the inside of her ears.

Personality: River idolizes her siblings and as such is a nice mix of their talents – taking what she loves best about each of them and trying her hand at it. Like Aria she is musical although she lacks any talent with an instrument she can sing very well. Like Theron she is honest though she hasn't learned the fine art of when it is proper to be brutally honest and when a little sugar coating is needed (from him she also learned to simply ask for what she wants rather than try to trick it out of people). And like Kaia she enjoys play-acting though she has yet to graduate to performing anything before anyone other than Mr. Bear and her doll Annabelle.

Underneath it all, however, is a 7 year old girl who still doesn't understand the way of the grown up world even though she tries. She still has temper tantrums when something doesn't go her way and she loathes having a bed time. Occasionally her serious mask will crack and every one gets to see the real River.

Bio: Seeing as how River is only 7 she doesn't have much in the way of a bio just yet but that doesn't mean she isn't working towards a great one. Being the youngest of the Earth Kingdom she has certain expectations that she will be able to do whatever she wants when she's older and fully expects to excel at whatever she choses. For now she still has a regular tea time with her toys and sometimes her siblings if they are feeling in the mood to accommodate her.

Other: River thinks the only useful men in the world are her brother and her father. For some reason it hasn't sunk in that the males of the castle staff are any different than the females other than they way they dress.

She also really, really, wants a puppy but no one seems to think she's mature enough to take care of one on her own.

[Shaylee Tanya Orlagh (Adalia)], [Pixie Commander, Maid] of [Earth Kingdom]

Appearance: For a pixie years are irrelevant as their aging is much slower than most. Because of this, they rarely keep track of them but Shaylee’s appearances place her in the mid to late twenties. Like most pixies she has two sets of delicate translucent wings green in color which are more than strong enough to carry her five inch body wherever she wants to go. Her skin is fair in color and long golden locks of hair flow down her back to her rear with banks cut short so they stay out of her emerald green eyes. Her body is thin but well-toned by pixie standards with elongated, pointed ears.

Personality: Shaylee is a bit sassy. It is not uncommon for her to throw tantrums in order to get her way and is notorious for holding a grudge practically forever. Often she can be a bit impish, deceitful, mischievous and defiantly prankish but that varies on the time, place and who it is. Most of the time they are harmless and deemed more of a mild annoyance than anything but if it’s done in order to get “even” with someone she felt has wronged her anything aside from being simply cruel isn’t beyond her. For the few who truly know her, know she can be trusted to take things serious when the time calls for it and will always be there for the ones she cares for.

Bio:Being the eldest of one of the oldest recorded pixie families, Shaylee was born into the life of responsibility. It was important that she learn all the politics and on goings within the kingdom in order to be able to properly represent the pixie people and ensure their tiny voices weren’t ignored. Being the smallest inhabitants of not only the Earth Kingdom but Athes itself, these creatures were often taken advantage of and sometimes treated like nothing more than bugs, pests to be simply swatted away. It was the only time in her life that she truly took anything serious knowing she was doing something important and worthwhile.
That was at least until during one of the many attacks that took place in the Earth Kingdom, Shaylee’s family was caught in the middle. Everything she had done to protect them and the rest of the pixies felt pointless, her people were being slaughtered while she remained safe and sound in the Kingdoms capital. After their deaths, she stepped down from her position as representative in order to pursue other means of securing the pixies future.
Shaylee used what little of her family wealth that survived to hire a trainer to teach her as many forms of combat as she could physically do including archery and how to properly use a sword which wasn’t easy for someone who could sit in your palm. Most didn’t take the tiny pixies seriously but as long as they were being paid they indulged her. Using sticks for swords and twigs and thread for a bow, Shaylee became increasingly good and mastered whatever technique taught to her with surprising speed. Whispers made their way through the pixie villages until a handful of those who still held great respect for the Orlagh family saw this might actually be able to work. That despite their size, pixies aren’t as frail as they had been lead to believe. What started out as a few soon turned into many as more and more pixies came together to follow Shaylee’s lead.

Through the years their number and skill increased until finally catching they eye of the Earth Kingdom Prince. Seeing their potential he came to her with a proposal that Shaylee couldn’t nor wouldn’t refuse. Returning to the palace under the Prince’s direct supervision the pixies are assigned a tasks that suit their abilities from castle guards and more commonly, spies. With the backing of the Earth Kingdom Prince, they had the means to hire someone to fashion tough but light weight armor and weaponry small enough for pixie use. Most of their weaponry was coated in a number of neurotoxins in order to make their size and the size of any opponent they face irrelevant. Finally the pixies would be seen as more than helpless creatures to be protected or stepped on and under the lead of Shaylee, much, much more.

Other: Shaylee is the head of the pixies that are in league with the Earth Kingdom Prince however it is only known to a privileged few. Only those directly below her and the Earth Prince himself know who she really is, to everyone else she is simply a tiny maid trying not to be crushed in the massive palace.

Shaylee: Given name used by friends.

Lee: Maid name which everyone within the palace know her as.

Orlagh: Family name and only used by the most loyal of followers who know her identity.

Adalia: Last name taken when she returned to the palace under a new identity.

Godric Loccrain Belthorus, Prince of Darkness

Appearance: Godric is 23 years young with flawless pale skin, dark green-almost black-hair and grass green eyes. From his head, starting just above the tips of his slightly pointed ears, sprout a beautiful set of curved horns that look to be covered in rings of gold that are actually much harder than such a weak, yet precious, metal. He is a rather good looking mutt as he is a mix of almost all the kingdoms. His mother had been a mix of Air and Earth (somewhere she must have had Earth royalty in her for there is a strip of black fur swirling along his spine) while his father is a mix of Darkness and Fire (a remnant of the days when the two kingdoms were still one). His flesh is light colored due to lack of sun and thanks to certain bits of his genetic code but his mixed blood shows in more than just the extremely soft fur growing in an odd swirled pattern (like the curling tips of vines) up his spine.

Sprouting from between his shoulder blades is a set of small, unusable, wings that can't seem to decide if they want to be feathered or scaled. They are large enough to be annoying but small enough that flying is a no go so really they're just a nuisance. They have hooks much like bat wings on the ends and he can clasp those hooks together at his throat which makes it look like he's wearing some sort of odd cape with a smattering of green-black feathers randomly melting into incandescent black scales and back again at random intervals.

Personality: Godric is a ladies man, at least in his kingdom and he is completely spoiled rotten. He's used to getting what he wants, when he wants it, how he wants it and as such is undisciplined in many areas. He doesn't even know how to fight – he is, on the other hand, an impeccable lover which is how he keeps his leanly muscled form. He sees himself as the gods gift to women (and some men) everywhere and usually has trouble understanding when someone doesn't want him, even if he doesn't want them either. According to Godric everyone should want to experience and bask in his touch.

Bio: Born, raised, and doted on in the castle of Darkness Godric wanted for nothing...ever. The only thing his parents ever pushed on him was his lessons which he took in stride knowing that one day he would be king and knowledge was a good thing to have. Of course as he grew older he understood the importance of lessons for a different reason...and eventually added the lessons of the boudoir so that he would be well rounded. All in all he's much smarter than he lets on and he likes it that way. It's easier to surprise someone when they think you're too stupid to think of anything other than sex.

Nothing bad has ever happened to Godric, at least not that he knows of, other than that one fiasco with a lady who claimed to be carrying the princes child and demanded he wed her and make her queen...that had been a nightmare. However little Vie was a pleasure in his life, one that didn't consist of naked women in his bed but of the pure joy only children seemed capable of. What? What was he suppose to do? Let the little girl go to an orphanage after her mothers rather untimely death soon after the girls birth? He thought not...after all when he saw the color of her eyes, as well as the small patch of fur over one of them, he knew she was his child and while he may be spoiled in this one area he is not. In fact Vie may be even more spoiled than he is. Sadly Vie did not come on this trip with him as he, and his father agreed, that such a place would not be safe for a three year old.

Other: He hates being dirty to a point where he is OCD about his cleanliness and he will often wear a pair of gloves that are enchanted to self clean...actually all his clothing is enchanted that way which is why he brought his tailor along on this trip with him. Who knows when he may need a new outfit for some event or another.

Izrajah Killian Binvilenca, younger prince of the Light Kingdom

Appearance: 18 but appears to be in his early twenties thanks to an early growth spurt; at least this is how he will look for some time to come. He is about 6 feet 5 inches, his build sort of blocky, heavy boned he calls it, he is neither over weight or overly muscled, with wide shoulders to accompany his towering height (something he is still getting used to) - in one word he is solid.

He has a square face with low cheek bones that lend him a more masculine looking face, strong and block like, that matches the wide nose set in the middle of his face though his smaller mouth a semi full lips tend not to match so well. His eyes are something else entirely, they are large, oval shaped, with long, thick, eyelashes that fan out above light blue eyes with streaks of darker blue spiking out from his iris. They aren't as stunning as his sisters eyes but to him they are his best feature. To help accent them he plucks and shapes his eyebrows in a way that will allow him to pencil in any sort of shape he wishes above them. Another thing that helps set his eyes apart are the light spattering of freckles crossing just under his eyes and over the bridge of his nose – theses are a lighter blue-violet than the dark, near black, tone of his skin that is natural in a person from the light kingdom.

His hair is twenty-three inches worth of straight, layered, medium thick, orange locks that he dyes to match certain outfits or occasions. The orange color sets off like fire against his dark skin when he leaves it free of color. It is constantly styled, however, even when he's sleeping he puts it in a simple braid to keep from getting tangled in it. Most of the time his hair is pulled back to display the array of earrings that glitter and chime along the whole shell of his ear and while some match others don't and these too change with occasions and outfits.

Personality: Izrajah is a very effeminate man. He likes to look pretty and his clothing, many hair colors and styles, as well his use of makeup show this. He behaves rather femininely as well; always trying to move in a dainty, careful, graceful way that looks strange on his more manly figure. He speaks softly, giggles instead of belly laughs, and he rather enjoys watching plays and listening to music. Fighting scares him as do most weapons – good thing he is not the next heir. He is also kind, he makes a point of going out about his kingdom and giving alms to the poor, finding homes for the orphaned children and has even started an orphanage that he checks in on every other day. He is also prone to fits of drama if something doesn't look right or he feels he looks...off on any given day. He likes to be told he is pretty, that he is kind and while he will pout if someone denies this he will quickly get over it if he sees something shiny or pretty to claim his interest.

Bio: Izrajah has lived a pretty boring life. He likes being royalty, likes being pampered, and just about the only time he even leaves the castle is when he takes his bag of gold to give out to the poor or check on his orphans. He's been pampered but it hasn't really made him spoiled as he does think of others before himself, sometimes.

His trips out started at a young age (seven if he recalls correctly) though he can't really remember why he had been brought out to see his people all he remembered was seeing the poor, the orphaned, the dirty and wanting to help them. He had petitioned his mother for some gold to hand out and she had obliged and it had become a habit. As he got older he realized there was more he could do and he saved a little of the allowance his mother gave him until he had enough to build an orphanage near the castle since all the other ones seemed to be too small to house all the poor, parentless, children. He created a stipend from his own money that goes directly to this orphanage to see that it remained in good repair, is fully staffed, and that staff is kind. His semi daily visits are to make sure everything is being run as he wishes it. That the children get all they need and some even go out for apprenticeships. All in all his orphanage is the largest and most successful of those in the light kingdom.

Seeing that he and his sister are only a year apart he likes to think the two of them are close. Though there are some in the kingdom who think she should be passed over for him, even though it is a matriarchal kingdom, simply because she may look a little strange or behave a little strange Izrajah doesn't think so. He believes that all his sisters quirks will make her a wonderful Queen and he takes full advantage of her time spent studying to take the throne to do what he wishes. Mainly busy clothing, make up, hair dye, shoes, so on and so forth.

Other: He is extremely excited about this arrangement. He's always wanted a lady who would let him do her hair, help her pick out her outfits, apply her make up...you know, basically let him treat her like his own living doll. He's not so much glad to be having a wife as much as a woman forced to live with him that he can play dress up with.

He also likes to be called 'Izzy' rather than his full name.
