Rules of the UW RP System...
1. Active role-play moderators who choose to start a new 2 week mini RPG are required to assemble at least one other role-play moderator to moderate alongside him/her. Co-moderating duties include brainstorming the RP's plot before it kicks off and writing the session in unison and/or parts after they have agreed to everything that is to happen in the concluding session. The maximum number of moderators per role-play is 3 and the minimum 2. Guest moderators are allowed but there must be at least one official RP moderator.
2. Opposed to two sessions, two week role-plays will now have two constant weeks of posting (maximum of 4 role-plays throughout), and only one session after deadline written by the team of moderators. The same goes for 1 week, or 3 week role-plays. Whatever the number of role-playing weeks, there will only be 1 session to wrap up all loose ends.
3. When organizing a mini-RPG, you must establish whether your RP will be an UW Chronicles story or an UW: Generation Next story. If it's an UW Chronicles story, then that must be the title, followed by the subtitle of your specific story. For example, if you have a chronicle story in mind and the title is "Patriot Games", then the mini-RPG title would be UW Chronicles: Patriot Games or UW: Generation Next - Patriot Games if it's a futuristic story. If it's a chronicle story, it must fall into continuity between the end of the present era in UW known as the third part of the Poseidon arc and the beginning of the futuristic chapter that was Elysium Eclipsed which took place 243 years later. If it's a futuristic story, it has to take place after the events of Elysium Eclipsed in Final Battle. Dead characters are as such in the realm but can be revived given a rational sub-plot.
4. Custom characters (made up characters) are allowed in this RPG as your primary character, but they have to be reviewed by the mini RPG moderators beforehand.
5. You CANNOT under any circumstance use another active role-player's character without his/her permission.
6. Criticizing of other's writing or RP's will not be tolerated. If someone comes to me with concrete proof (a screenshot of the IM window) then the penalty will be severe. People work hard with their writing and express themselves differently.
7. You cannot edit a role-play once it's posted, unless it's just correcting grammatical errors. People have plenty of time to proof read role-plays and edit before it's posted, but once it's up, you cannot change it.
8. Time traveling characters are only allowed to do so ONCE. That's not even once every season, otherwise some people might go on a power trip. Reason? Even though some characters can do that, it's because in their own realm, they're the main heroes so they're supposed to dominate. This isn't like that, it's a clan with everyone working hard writing their posts, therefore it must all be balanced. The time traveling trip cannot alter any of the story's continuity.
9. Only one mini-RP may be going on at a time. Whatever team has finished organizing theirs first and are ready to go, will do so, and it'll go in order of who's ready. Just letting you guys know so people don't try to run two mini RPG's at once. I'll moderate schedules to make sure there are no unnecessary conflicts in schedule.
10. You cannot under any circumstance reply to any role-play posts. This would alter the order of posts, and if everyone just starts replying to role-plays, it'll be a big miss.
11. If you do not post for a role-play, your character can be used by the team of moderators in any way, and even be killed off. This rule was made to encourage writers to post at least once if they have signed up for a RP. If you feel you will be unable to post for whatever role-play you've signed up for, alert the moderating team before the RP starts to let them know if you do not wish your character to be used unjustly.
