I'm afraid that doesn't actually help my situation too much... it's been something like twelve years since the last time I read LotR, and probably at least six or seven since the last time I read the Silmarillion. ^^;

I suppose I can understand the cast size, though it does prompt a new question: how would you guys feel about a reverse trap in the cast? Specifically, I'm considering Much right now.

And until I get confirmation on the pictures thing, I guess that'll do it from me.

Reverse trap? I'd need more explanation but we're open to ideas ^^

the trees basically talk but no human can understand the language, it's like they have spirits and can move, but really only do so to confuse and scare people who would do them or the woodlanders harm. (and also if you use samanic "magic' which is more like a religion and less of a magic.)

I usually think about it as casting an actor for a role. Everybody knows that's not really the character, but you're willing to suspend your disbelief to watch the movie.
And for trap, no, but I'm intrigued. Tell me more, oh visitor from an arcane land.

Okay. A trap is a person who is a boy but looks like/dresses convincingly as a girl.

A reverse trap is the reverse of that; ie, a girl that dresses convincingly like a guy.
