Hi, I received an invitation in my search thread; I'm going to post this here, too, since it seems likely that it'd be noticed quicker. If you've already replied there, please consider this post a mere bump. ninja

A relatively quick scan of the thread has given me a couple questions: first, what should I be considering the sherwood to be? Right now I've got the impression of something along the order of dryads, though that's partially just intuition.

Secondly, are the currently defined roles all that you're looking for? Or would you accept other roles, as well? I don't mean: Oh, hey, here's a Robin Hood clone I made, dur hur; but rather, perhaps an original character working for John/her highness, or perhaps even somebody neutral or antagonistic to both groups. And I might be willing to take one of the currently defined roles on top of that, as well, if you'd prefer.

Finally, pictures: would you require those? Because I always feel uncomfortable using pictures of actual people—claiming them as my own character when a personality and experience-set already exists for the person in question in the real world.

The Sherwood are more like the trees in Lord of the Rings (not the Ents) but the trees in Fangorn forest before they were silenced.

We are trying to keep it a smaller cast of characters because usually with a larger group many people will leave, so I think we'd prefer to keep it the list of characters we've got now.

And for me, I would be fine if you don't want to use a picture. but, you'll have to wait for Kellanda's answer for 100% confirmation.
