Seras let out a sigh, trying to relax herself. It would just be worse if she panicked. She tried to block out the noise from the outside world in her father's heavenly castle. There was a battle going on between the light and the dark outside the castle, they had been feuding for centuries and now it came down to this. She was locked in her room as her father, the Head God of light, instructed. He told her to not leave this room until it was safe and he would come and get her. Before he left her, he placed a magical spell so that no evil creature would be able to enter his daughter's room. However, if Seras decided to leave the room then she would no longer have the protection of the spell. She fidgeted in her room as she tried to figure out who was winning based on the howls and screams of those who died. After a few hours, silence surrounded her. She got up off of her bed and paused for a moment at her door. She wondered if the battle was over. Thinking that it was safe to come out, she opened the door and left her room. She walked down the hallway to a window where she could see the entrance of the castle. Nothing but blood and carnage was seen for miles and miles. She sucked in her breath as she saw her loved ones dead before her, she could smell their blood in the air from her high window. She leaned over and emptied her stomach at the sight, never before had she seen such terrible destruction. She was raised so protected and she was so incredibly innocent that she had never even imaged such a sight as before her. She stumbled back to her room, since she didn't even know who had won the battle but she didn't feel safe out of her room. Little did she know that her protective spell was no longer going to work and that she was completely vulnerable.

"No no no!" Savannah screamed over the firing cannons. Everything that she had ever worked for was crumbling at her feet. Savannah Valance was the first mate of the
Shadowed Angel ship for about seven years now and the
Shadowed Angel's life was coming to a close. An enemy ship surprised Savannah and the crew by firing upon them in the dead of night in the middle of the ocean, none had prepared for this type of battle and none had seen the ship coming due to the dense fog. Savannah had already seen her captain's head impaled at the center of the
Shadowed Angel so that meant all hope was lost. Only a few members of the crew remained standing and they were all being brutally massacred by swords, daggers and bullets. Savannah, with no plan of action, suddenly acted spontaneously just trying to save herself in anyway that she could. She shot a few enemy pirates and made her way towards the edge of the boat. There she dove into the water, dropped her gun which was now useless since the gun powder had gotten wet, and swam towards the other side of the enemies' ship where there was little activity. As silently as she could, she climbed up the side of the enemies ship towards the deck by digging her nails and feet into the old wood. Savannah swung herself over the side of the ship and was finally on deck. Her heart beat so fast in her chest as she tried to avoid being seen or heard. Suddenly she gasped softly when she heard footsteps and laughter coming her way. She quickly dove behind some barrels of gun powder and tried to be as still and silent as possible. She waited for a moment and then sighed in relief, they were gone. Then she heard a powerful deep voice break over all other noises. She was sure it was the captain of the the ship she was on now. "Sink her men!" he cried. And with horror, Savannah heard the blast of their cannons' fire and she watched her ship sink into the bloody water. She guessed that they had killed every crew member...except her, but they probably would if they ever found her. Savannah lowered her head, but refused to cry as she heard the captain's praise his men for what a fine job they did in killing ever single living thing of her ship. She chocked back a sob, and froze, she hoped that wasn't as loud as she thought it sounded....

Savannah Valance was an eighteen year old girl who was like any other normal teenage girl, well that’s what she thought. Everyday Savannah would walk home by herself to her apartment, her family had died when she was just a baby, she never really knew how they died and every one told her that it was by a car accident. One day as she walked home, a terrible thunderstorm occurred out of nowhere. She ran for cover, though she could see very little due to the strong rain and dark sky. She stumbled upon a house that had been abandoned for about a hundred years, according to the talk in the town. She finally made it to the front door and found that the door was unlocked, usually young teenagers tried to get into the abandoned house, but it was always locked up tight, keeping out all intruders. She shivered slightly when she walked into the entrance of the house, her wet clothes clung to her every curve. She walked into the main area of the dark house where there was a dark set of stairs leading up to the second floor and a living area through an archway. “H-Hello?” she called out in a soft timid voice, “Anyone here?” She shrugged when she heard no one respond to her calls. She walked into the living area and was surprised to find that there was a fire burning in the extravagant fireplace. She looked around the room, but didn’t see anyone there. She sat before the fire for a bit to let her clothes dry. As she sat there, she suddenly gasped, before her eyes she saw the entire living room covered in blood. Her bright green eyes changed into a deep crimson color. She looked down at herself and she was covered in blood too. She could actually smell the warm blood on her hands; it made her want to throw up. Little did the girl know that she just saw an illusion before her eyes. “No…no…” she cried out in disbelief at the horrible scene before her, “Why….” But soon the scene before her blurred into darkness as she fainted before the fireplace.

Savannah Valance had worked for the company for seven years now. She knew all the ins and outs of the business and was especially good at cleaning up her boss's messes which included pissing off his customers, his co-workers and his competitors. The bloody idiot, Savannah thought to herself. But, of course, how could she completely argue with the CEO.
One day as Savannah was working on entering some information into the database, she came across something very strange. She was not only the CEO's secretary, but also the CFO for the company since she had her masters in accounting. She gasped after she double checked the numbers. She quickly printed off some papers and jogged, well more like fast walked, in her high heels over to her boss's office. She inwardly sigh, I hope he isn't making out with another one of his young whore-like employee's again when I go in there, she thought to herself. Yes, her boss was somewhat of a man whore, but did he care? No way, he was rich and famous and apparently wanted everything he could get in life. She knocked a few times on his door and didn't wait for him to verbally allow her to come in since this was kind of an emergency. She rushed in and threw her papers down onto his desk. "Sir, I think you should look at these papers of our bank accounts."

"You ready to go?" "Yeah, the royal family is just another one of my spectators," Savannah murmured softly back to one of the royal servants. With absolute grace, the gypsy walked towards the middle of the clear dance floor. The music began and there she began her dance called "The Dance of Fire and Swords." With grace she spun about with intricate foot work and her fabric that was attached to her wrists made her look like an exotic goddess as she moved her arms about. Half way through the long and energetic dance, she pulled out a sword, that looked like it came from thin air; she's have to thank gypsy magic for that visual affect. She sliced through the air with her sword like a champion of the sword would, but at the same time she still held the grace of a dancer. As a child her father had taught her the art of swordsmanship to protect herself. As a little girl, her family was killed in a raid and from there she was accepted into the gypsy culture. This dance was her own that came from the very depths of her heart, and it was the finally to the gypsies' show that they had put on for the royal family. After a final twirl, her dance ended and she bowed deeply towards the royal family, not really meeting her bright gold eyes with any of them since she didn't really like the royals. She quickly walked off of the dance floor even as the audience continued to applaud for her. She was greeted with smiled and hugs from her fellow gypsies, they knew that their show had been a hit and that they would get a large pay from their entertainment. Savannah then bumped into the royal servant that she had talked to eariler before she went out on the dance floor. "Excuse me miss, but some of the royals would like to talk to you," the servant said. Savannah tilted her head and narrowed her eyes slightly; she didn't like to be around the royals, they all made her nervous, "What is it that they wish to talk about?" Savannah asked. The servant bit her lip, "Well, they want you to stay here..." Savannah's golden eyes widdened, "WHAT?!" she squeaked out.
