Now for story time!

I used to play this online MMO called perfect world for a while, and had a level 150 Mage on a private server. Some archer guy comes up to me and challenges me to a duel; I'm not horribly interested in PvP, but I accept 'cause I don't have much else to do. I beat him in about 2-3 shots, and he demands a rematch. Again, he loses in 2-3 shots.

So he walks away and I leave the safety of the city to find some of my guildmates, when suddenly I find someone shooting me in the back. Would you know it, it's my little archer friend again. We fight for about a minute until he falls to the ground when I land a critical hit. At this point he's seeing red, calls his entire guild, and kills me in 5 versus 1.

At this point he's very proud of himself, insulting me, calling me noob, etc etc. So I call my faction, and we kick him out of the area. Of course, like usual, they start insulting us from the safezone that is the city.

What is the moral of this story? When you lose, do it with some dignity.

P.S. Yes. I'm a MMO nerd.

God I hate how everything college wise is being put online =_= They think it's convenient, but I think it's annoying. Especially if it's like, math courses. If you ask me, it's just an excuse for the college professors to be lazy.

And I think his thread is one of those far beyong ever being spotted in the pulse.. I wonder if we should start a new one? xD OR is everupne happier just being the 3 (or 4 if Magic decides to rejoin us) of us in the story. Personally I'm torn, cause it's always a challenge to integrate new members into the story. Not saying it can't be done... but still. And maybe we'll stumble upon someone who actually stays a while and contributes to the liveliness of our thread.

I wonder where our story will go now? We still have the 200 to deal with, Yuri's gone bonkers and now Johnson's been kidnapped by a purple monster. xD Hmmm.

Well, we are at a part of the RP where it is somewhat difficult to incorporate new members. However, I believe that might change soon now that we have returned to Shane. Once this problem with Yuri is resolved, however that might be, things will probably get a bit more flexible. I'll have to see more details about Johnson's situation before I can make a clear call.

And you'll find Corvus is a little different than before wink

Oh? ;D That should be interesting. Yuri's probably not much different, except that maybe now nothing surprises her anymore. XD
And while it might be a little awkward to try and fit a new character in at the moment, it's the same case in most advanced RPs.. Which sucks because it's discouraging... They could always just throw themselves in though. xD I've done it. It's only awkward for a little while. D;
