The Story:

The World is divided, shattered and torn asunder by war. Every where you turn, the evidence is clear. Villages have been destroyed, cities are run by bands of criminal overlords, organizations with the right technology have gathered to carry out an evil scheme and with the police out of commission; mutants and all manner of scum run amok. Slaves and harem have begun to sprout up all over the destroyed cities and run-down towns.
Groups and organizations have gained money and power, willing to take on any girl or boy needing cash quickly. However, there is a band of Mercenaries rumoured to prowl the ruined land, looking for anymore who need a death or two.....For a price that is.....

But not every mercenary plays by the rules.....

Bio: Rather rude at times, Rinoa or Rin to most, has never been on the right side of the law as she is often the cause of many forest fires and destroyed buildings for reasons she cannot explain. Her wicked temper and unusual strengths had lead her parents to abandon her at a young age which has lead to her being generally untrusting. Combined with her nature ability at acrobatics, she often leads law enforces on a merry chase when trying to catch her. With her unusual powers, it is really not surprising that Rin is involved with some of the darkest secrets that would shatter the very foundations of the living world.

Bio: Shiroi is a quiet, but friendly person who enjoys time alone and time with friends. She is always willing to help and has a strong fighting spirit. She tends to have bad people skills, and is known for awkward silences and sarcastic comments. It is difficult to gain her trust at first, but once you have, you have a friend for life.
Character Flaw: Often allows her emotions to control her actions and is dependent on people (and objects) stronger than herself. This gets her into bad situations a lot.
Weapons:A katana named Masamune, some grenades and smoke bombs.
Powers: Masamune is a legendary katana possesed by the malevolent spirit of the man who forged it. Its back-story is smeared in blood and betrayal. Shiroi happened upon it by accident when she was young and became its wielder. Masamune seems to have a mind of its own and treats the people who wield it as vessels in which to store and manipulate its power. It has a strong blood-lust and longs to fight anyone stronger than its current vessel. It is constantly searching for a stronger being to possess. The sword has various powers that rely on its aura. The aura is dark, strong and tends to fluctuated according to the swords impulses. In order for the sword to be passed on to a new owner, the previous carrier must have died or been killed.
Masamune's spirit is currently locked away by means of a seal placed on it by Corvus.

Bio: Project Vergessen, this was the name given to the horrific experimentations towards the goal of creating suitable and obedient warriors to serve the Council of 200. Years of failure to alter naturally born beings led to the decision to use artificially created children. Genetics, cybernetics and dark magic’s were the mixture used to bring these abominations into the world. Created by the scientists under the orders of number 3 of the 200, Mercy was one of these abominations. Using the genes of the council member himself as the human biological component, and the dna gathered from an Obsidian Chiroptera Ungeist (bat demon lol; this was the 3rd rank’s orders. As such, even before physical experimentations Subject B; as he was called, was already an imposing existence. Originally, only one existence was supposed to come from these samples, but during the cell multiplication period a phenomenon occurred. A pair of twins was the end result, each bolstering the attributes of the 3rd, but having the traits of the Chiroptera Ungeist split between them. They were raised together, each suffering a wide variety of torturous physical experimentation and enhancements; both Subject A (Malice) and Subject B (Mercy). Upon the age of 16, a final experiment was conducted on both siblings; the intention was to use the energy from the combined abilities of all the council members in order to amplify the abilities of the two subjects exponentially. This however was only half of the truth, since the two had developed their own unique personalities and began to question their intended purpose; the council of 200 decided their minds would be wiped of all memories and replaced with manufactured ones that would ensure absolute and unquestioned obedience to the 200. The experiment was a success, at least for Malice. The sonic abilities passed on to Mercy by the Chiroptera left him with an altered brainwave pattern; and thus he was unsusceptible to the reprogramming of memories. Instead he was left to question what the Council had tried to do to him. Shortly after this, he escaped the grasp of the 200, hunted by his own brother; who was now left near immortal by the experiment. Several years passed and Mercy had become an assassin for hire out of necessity; this career the best choice for someone who needed to be on the move constantly and had a natural talent for taking life. For some time, it seemed as though the council had finally given up on his recapture, but a year ago that changed. He had met an odd group of travelers in the desert during a contract; and decided to accompany them on a whim. Though their time together was short, Mercy had taken a liking to the leading trio of the group; a pair of young lively silver haired girls, Rin and Yuri, and the always serious and aggravated Corvus. It seemed that a cursed fate had brought this specific group together; as all parties were sought by the 200 for one reason or another and upon Mercy’s entrance became a visible target once more. In an attempt to allow the others escape from an attack by his former brother, Mercy nearly ended his life with his own ability. Rendered incapable to defend himself or escape, he was taken by Malice and subjected to weeks of torturous experimental test and surgical procedures to both revive and find a way to control him. Somehow, he had managed to escape once more; burdened by severe surgical wounds and with no idea to the extent of the alterations performed. Using the money he had hidden away from contracts he had fulfilled; this time he willingly underwent several surgeries to alter himself; but only in appearance. From there, the assassin relatively fell off the grid; silently taking and completing contract and discovering the extent of the changes done to him.

He is very instinctual in nature. He is kind to a point, but also very blunt. He speaks his mind regardless of consequence and will back it up with his bullets or blades if need be. It should also be noted, that as a trained assassin; he never lets his prey escape his grasp.
Character Flaw: Mercy has two flaws, one would be his weakness to high frequency sonic pulses due to his enhanced hearing abilities. The other flaw he retains is his bluntness.
Weapons: Twin guns loaded with rounds of his own design and twin arm-blades
Powers: He has highly enhanced physical attributes, two of the most notable being his speed, and his strength. He also bolsters sonic abilities, such as ultrasonic hearing and being able to release a powerful sonic shriek which is so powerful it is able to tear through tangible substances, even titanium.
Other: Don't touch his ears!!!

Bio: Akeno is a loving and caring male. He was raised in the Snow pack, son of one of the guardians. On the day that the pack was attacked, he had been out gathering things to add to his medicine kit. He had come back too late. His father had been wounded, and others were dead or dying. After Shiroi Yuri left, he remained as a doctor in the pack. Eventually, he was chosen to go and check up on her and gather information on the state of the outside world.
Character Flaw: Akeno can be too focused on helping others, which can cause him to forget himself. He blames himself for not being at the Snow village the day it was attacked.
Weapons: Bow and arrow, saber
Powers: An ability to heal; however, his power is growing still. He also only thinks that he knows medical procedures, not that he has powers.
Other: He is an excellent doctor and archer.

Bio: As her name implies, Teruko, or Ru as she likes to be called with her friends, was born to replace the old keeper of Masamune while the Snow Pack kept it hidden within their village. But once Yuri took the sword, Ru was left with nothing to aspire to. Her name suggested greatness, and yet, it would remain unfulfilled. She is a studious lass, and not prone to outbursts, but she is loyal and true. She ran away in shame and has been wandering ever since... Only to be found by Akeno.
Character Flaw: She believes that she has no place in this world, and this can cause her to be very lethargic... Which Akeno is trying to overcome. She is also not always communicative if she is upset.
Weapons: A mace and a dagger
Powers: She can heal somewhat, has power over water in most forms ie. snow, ice rain etc
Other: She is currently under the wing of Akeno after having been found in a tavern as someone's pet.

Character Flaw: David has a infection that would warp him from being human. So he must take his medicine each day or suffer the effects of becoming a monster. Also he rarely has armor on.

Powers: Full control over the weapons and people in BHK. A instant rehealing body organs, and the ability to transform after missing his medicine

Bio: Detached and generally aloof, he can be talkative and engaging when he feels like it or cold and heartless when annoyed or angered too much. He trains himself constantly to improve his abilities and become the best there is...period. He is generally kind to everyone and will help those who ask him for his help, but should someone do something he thinks is unbecoming, he tends to take matters into his own hands. He, for one of his kind, has a sense of moral standards that he tries to follow, which considering what he is...is unusual. He values loyalty and justice plus the viture of serving the people in need.
Character Flaw: Hates being caught unawares (Goes nuts if he is, transforms without knowing and loses control of himself. Only being beat into submission helps him revert back.)
Weapons: Heaven's Judgement / Nether's Judgement (Dual and/or single wield.)
Powers: Summoning of Dragons, Bajiquan/Hakkyoku-Ken and Baguazhang/Hakkesho Styles (Martial Arts styles), and Hiten Mistarugi-ryu Sword style.
Other: What covered his back was a tattoo that had been made famous as it was mesmerizing. A ying-yang was centered on his back, and from that ying-yang, five dragons sprouted outwards. One was silver, breathing flames of jet blue as it curled around the middle of his back and stopped just below the base of his neck, while another gold dragon sinuously weaved it's way around the silver dragon, and stopped just at his left shoulder, the mouth open and deadly fangs bared. Another was midnight black and sprang from the left side of the ying-yang, and wound itself all over the left side of his back, intertwining itself amongst the gold dragon, ending its journey at the left of the small of his back. A crimson red, or blood colored, dragon sprouted from the upper right hand part of the ying-tang, and weaved its way around the gold and silver dragons, claws bared, and its maw open revealing more deadly fangs. The very last dragon was blue, as it came from the right side of the ying-yang, and wound itself amongst the crimson dragon, coming to a rest at the right side of the small of his back, breathing iridescent silver flames. And what tied the whole thing together was the smoke, the mist that enshrouded both the ying-yang, and all the dragons." [A symbol of his summoning ability]

Bio: A sadistic little lady Miss Harley is. She once despised the world and all it's light that shone throughout the city. On that fateful day, when darkness and chaos consumed the light, Harley emerged with a giddy excitement that struck fear into those she interacted with. With a high tolerance to pain, Harley began to become curious about the human body. With a love for pain and bondage, Harley began to wonder about the human will and what it taste like. After tormenting one of her playmates and finally killing him, she consumed a small portion of his body. Harley developed a small liking to the taste of humans. A sort of sadistic cannibal she turned into. She has a quirky and jubilant demeanor preventing her from being manic and depressed. Harley is either psychotically giddy or sadistically serious; it depends what tactics she uses at the moment.
Character Flaw: Harley can become anemic during one of her sadistic spells should she decide to injure herself. The sight of blood arouses her and can cause her to damage herself.
Weapons: A simple pistol but sufficient ammunition.
Powers: Agility and extreme pain tolerance. Harley also has the ability to sometimes manipulate blood.

Appearence: Bending to her every whim.
Bio: Hatta was nothing more than a freak when he was little. A boy how never fit in, he was to... Different. He could always bend in ways that other people couldn't and liked to show it off only to have people attack him in disgust. He grew up being different and mistreated. Being alone so long caused more than his body to bend. His mentality twisted and distorted over the years, changing him. At one point when the people threw rocks at him he suddenly realized that he was enjoying himself. The feeling as a large stone would crack him in the head. The smell of the blood trickling down his face.
It was when he met Harley that he found another like himself. He walked in on one of her meals and in a spur of the moment decision he joined her in eating. It was exhilarating, the time he spent with her. The pleasurable pain she caused to him. Together they indulged themselves in the sins of the flesh, in more ways than one.
Old and continuous flames who constantly indulge in each others presence. Feeding off of each other and living in their own strange sadistic harmony. Hatta and Harley, have you ever seen such a perfect pair?
Character Flaw: Being a contortionist Hatta's bones are very fragile in a sense. They break much more easily than a normal person's would.
Weapons: Hatta always carries a long chain with him and a small hatchet. on the end of the hatchet is a clasp he uses to not only hang it on his pants but also attach it to the end of his chain to use as a sort of makeshift weapon.
Powers: Hatta is a contortionist to extreme measures. He can bend in ways even normal contortionists cant. Also like Harley his senses treat pain differently. Any harm done to him gives him pleasure. A cut to the chest would be like someone running their hands through his hair. Lastly his bones although fragile mend faster than normal. A broken leg or arm will heal overnight. A shattered bone will mend itself back together within a few days.
Other: I can't wait to eat... meet you.

Bio: With the fall of Steelgod to Shuzan and Khaev empire. Isao was son to one of the Two Hundred who fled with his father's sword that was entrusted to him. Now he seeks revenge on Shuzan and the Khaev empire and also now seeks the warrior Corvus for his aid.
Character Flaw: His only armor is wrist guards, leg guards, and a light chain mail chest armor. Lastly he is stubborn.
Weapons: His father's double edge sword which has a beautiful handle after being replace from years of war, and that changes it's power when its day or night.
Powers: Very fast on his feet due to years of training. His sword's ability to add burn effects during the day, or poison during the night.
Other: Doesn't know if his father dead or is alive, and hopes to get his revenge.

Bio: Although Reeve was raised in a particularly slummy part of Shane (well... a slummier section of the apparently ever-present slums), he is clueless when it comes to street smarts. He will often walk through shady deals, street brawls, and bar fights without noticing. His mind often wanders to the opposite sex, and he has a habit of speaking in innuendoes (which also serves to get him into plenty of trouble). He is not a particularly shy man.
Character Flaw: Reeve can be extremely haughty without knowing it, landing him in dangerous predicaments with complete strangers.
Weapons: Reeve wields a "Lightning Lance," a retractable spear with two razor-sharp tazors attached to each end. Although the obvious connotations of weilding a spear in battle would be for him to impale opponents, he generally mixes up his fighting teqniques to catch the opponent offguard.
Powers: He has the power to charm~... most of the time.

Bio: Usually calm or happy, likes tinkering with explosives to create new effects etc. Tends to get excited when blowing things up or when thinking of blowing things up. Doesn't like not haveing some form of explosive with him and never leaves without his Glave.
Character Flaw: Sleeps far too much.
Weapons: Glave, Bazooka & Frag Shellsx3, C4x6, Fragmentation grenadesx3, Flash bangsx3
Powers: Minor magic to help tinker with explosives
Other: Carries larger explosives and most ammo in duffel bag, grenades worn on belt. The bazooka has a strap and he carries glave like a walking stick most of the time.

RP Name: Eli – Mammut (Monster) and Stein (Man)
Character Age: Unkown

Bio: Of Eli’s past there is only one definitive fact, he was always a monster; even before his soul was split between two bodies. The origin of his current form dates back around 30 years or so, having been forcibly made a test subject for the original trials of Project Vergessen. As was the fate of all those before Subjects A and B; Eli was declared a failure and his two bodies (resulting from Vergessen) were disposed of. However, unlike the others; the attempted disposal via blast furnace was a failure due to the ability of the body referred to as Stein. From that point until now, the rest of Eli’s history becomes a blur; much like when he was human… or at least similar to one. Since Eli’s personality was split long before his soul, each body took on one of the minds of the monster. The body of the monster, Mammut; its mind reflects its name quite well. It is carnal, blood lusting and its nature is to rip apart any and every life placed before it without so much as a care for repercussions; unless told otherwise by its other half. The body of the man, Stein; he is an enigmatic being indeed. Reason, logic, strategy; everything his other half is not is what this beast embodies. Make no mistake however; sometimes the most logical mind is the coldest and cruelest of all. Of the two, Stein seems to hold the reins over the actions of Eli; though this does not mean he is the original body. One monster, two forms… no compassion… no regrets… and no value for life… this is the true nature of the beast… this is Eli.
Character Flaw: The monster’s form fears complete isolation, while the man’s form fears infamy. A great flaw both personalities share is that neither values their own life.
Weapons: Stein wields arm blades that swivel out from underneath the forearm portion of his gauntlets. Each gauntlet on its own has hooked metal claws on the back of each joint on the fingers. Mammut uses the skull shaped armor upon his shoulders. Each horn (2 on each shoulder… so 4 in total) can be removed and is a primitive bone-like, jagged blade used to rend the flesh or impale; the skull shaped portions can be morn upon his fists to tear flesh upon impact with their blade-like teeth, two significantly longer than the rest.
Powers: Eli’s abilities act in symbiosis between the two bodies. The body of Stein drains and absorbs all ambient energy around it; heat, light, electricity, magic… even life. This ability feeds all absorbed energy into power for the body of Mammut, resulting in his monstrous physical power. Stein’s second ability, albeit questionable in nature; is the ability to feed images of the future into whomever he so chooses. As for the body of mammut, he copies the abilities and natural attributes of those he kills, and those he merely comes in contact with; killing them just provides more pleasure for the beast. These are fed directly to the body of Stein and compiled upon his own abilities and strength. The second ability of Mammut’s body lies within his body’s natural chemistry; upon contact with the air, his blood can ignite and burst into a terrible blaze upon whatever it makes contact with.

Welcome to the city of Shane. Here you will find the worse kind of scum, villians and let's not forget the thugs. This is was once a peaceful city, until the scum of the underground wrapped its filthy claws around it and refused to let go. Now it is a dark and gloomy place and home to the worst characters imaginable with criminals and crooked merchants crawling through the streets like bacteria. Most mercenaries and other seekers-of-employment journey to this city hoping to find work of any sort. And if you're not picky, you're sure to be booked.





The White Wolf's Inn

The "White Wolf's Inn", the place of choice for all the well bred visitors. Come prepared to front up your cash....






The "Aquias Inn" is the cheaper option if you cannot afford to stay at the "White Wolf Inn" and is located on a side alley.








The abandoned bar, "The Quail's Tavern", burned down by the bar fight that erupted one quiet night. Although this bar has been abandoned for quite some time, there are secrets that have yet to be discovered....

Anything and everything can be found here for a price. Run by an ex-mercenary J'Ghasta, he will be willing to find and sell you whatever you need. Pay no attention to his metal arm and metal thumb as these are injuries caused by another mercenary during the great rebellion of Shane City, Bloody Sunday.

The City of Corsa. Corsa is the merchant capital city of the Khaev empire, making it a major checkpoint for most caravans and trade in the area. It lies right next to the perilous Corsan High Desert, which is completely unsuited for any form of life.


The badlands, A wide desert that surrounds all of Corsa. Due to its harsh winds and unrelenting heat, The Badlands have become a key componet to the training of Khaev soliders.



St. Petersburg, RUSSIA


St. Petersburg from Shane:







Welcome to St. Petersburg. St. Petersburg was home to the capital of fallen Russia now a port of citizens, pirates, and Mercenaries. The port is well used and mostly lived on, but passed the port is a whole different story.







The dark shadow of BHK (Betterment for HumanKind) holds a iron grip here, and raids the port city daily for orphans and ships. Here also Doctor Young's monsters roam as well, who were able to hold what little of their sanity and memories (if any) to escape the stocks of BHK to become clans and tribes here in this dark forsaken city.







Now pass St. Petersburg in the frozen Siberia lays the infamous BHK Labs shielded in ice and frozen tundra. The labs here spell the end of most people's humanity and its here if you dare try to enter; maybe the last time you will see the sky as you are....
