And unfortunately, he can't control the direction of energy, only supply another one ._. So he couldn't simply turn a ball in mid air. That isn't to say... the energy of a simple breath couldn't be amplified to push the ball away though n,n

But yes.... this needs to be a rivalry. A permanent one. Tied score and all with neither able to get the upper hand.

Summary: He can teleport through time AND space, even by minuscule amounts. Where: Guaranteed. When: Well... not so much.

For example. I could throw a dodge ball at his head, accelerate it to the speed of a bullet...

And he could change locations, only to find out the he gets smacked in the back of the head with the same ball 2 seconds later.
