The movie's kinda awful in comparison to the book. I mean, it's not my favorite book, and I like Rikki Tikki Tavi ( one of the extra stories, aside from Mowgli's ) more than the main story, but it's probably worth the read... But yeah. Movie awful. D< Like, the movie makes it seem like it's all one sequence, it's not. It's like. "This part happens when he's six...this happens when he's eight...now ten...now seven..." and so on. And they made the movie silly. That book is not silly. <.< Ever. Even with the monkeys...the monkeys are the WORST enemy in the book, aside from Tiger man who wants to eat Mowgli. XD ( his name is not Tiger man, I know... )

They do. It's like. "Hi. We're here to take Mowgli for the day and teach him the rules of the jungle. Yeah. Okay. Bye." And then they take him. Mowgli gets in trouble ( or in the case of the monkeys, kidnapped ) and Bagheera and Baloo are all "Oh s**t." they call in favors, make it all better ( in the case of the monkeys, almost getting killed in the process ), slap him on the wrist, and then take him home and go. "Okay. That was fun. I'm going to faint now." Best Babysitters ever. XD

Fun is a good choice.

...Really? That's how every other culture works. Lesser nobility gets together to take out a monarch they don't like, and then point fingers later.

Well. I can't quite remember. Either they called in favors, for Bagheera threatened to eat you/do something awful that only panthers can do until you agreed, which might be the same thing in Bagheera's book. XD There's this whole lengthy thing about the law of the jungle, and I think it includes something along the lines of "Bagheera is big. Bagheera is sleek. Do not ******** with Bagheera." Not in those words of course, but Bagheera has a bit of power.

...That was never how I dealt with Queen b***h. Of course, the last time I dealt with Queen b***h was before I was teenager so...

XD I can't wait for Soren to come up with a nickname for Aske. Because Aske's will probably go "He'd rather waste the effort to come up with something he thinks fits, than just ask my name..." I somehow don't think this will please him, and I think it might make him stubborn about revealing what his name is. <.< Not that he likes his name anyway...but I doubt he'll like his nickname any better.

Haha. If/when the journey is over, and they go back, I'm sure Aske's going to be very aware of every tree, like Soren's asked it to eat him. Just for fun. It cannot be as "safe" in that woods as he remembers from that one day where nothing came near him ( save for Fallen ) while he sat in that tree.
