Oh, I never got to donate while I was still in school. I was a young'un : / But it's always cold when you donate blood/plasma (well, usually plasma. Last time I donated blood was in a building with little air conditioning so it was actually pretty warm).

Eh, I've been having a pretty slow RPing...I dunno, 2 months? I'm not in too many RPs but the three that I'm in used to get replies every day. Now I'm having to wait 3-7 days for a reply, which makes me feel little motivation to get my own post up any sooner...

I know how that is. I would say the same of ours but I know as soon as I do Sexy would pop on and I'd be wrong.

I've come to notice that I'll have mood swings that dictate whether or not I feel like posting depending on the time of day.

Like, earlier in the day I'll want to post in all of my current RPs. By late afternoon til just after the sun sets I won't want to do any posting but I'm fine with ooc chatter, then by late night/early morning I'll start craving a new role play.

Does that happen to anyone else?...o.o

No I get the same thing but if I start early enough in the day and everyone's posting then I can just keep posting all day.

Oh yeah, same here. My one partner and I used to start around 10/11am and go until 2am. We'd have little contests to see who could get the faster replies. *dusts off her 4-minute and someodd second trophy* That was when we were at a two paragraph minimum. Lately, since the replies are much (much) slower, we're averaging a little more.

But Jesus, nowhere near you and Marile! eek *was browsing y'all's thread* That's...impressive. One of these days I'll get bored (and find free time) and actually read it. Then again, one of these days I'll get REALLY bored and finish transferring my 1x1 posts from my inbox to a thread and clear up my poor mailbox.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying that, the posts are gigantic but it's not just a bunch of crap, things are actually happening throughout the post, which is a HUGE plus!

If you get bored I'll gladly start up a new roleplay with yah!

I've been considering doing one but the plot I'm thinking of would be more suited for a small group RP. And small group RPs tend to move slower than 1x1s...

I've been craving something new and faster paced than what I currently have, I'm just kinda cramped for time right now...[/conundrum] confused

Ah, I can see how that would be an issue, both the group roleplay idea and the lack of time available.

I really wish that Marile would get online, I'm missing her!

Aw, I'm sorry. I'm feeling the same way about one of my partners (even though I have a post waiting on me in another RP XD)

I think part of it is I see things in RPs that I can't stand, and so I come up with concepts that I think would make things more interesting. Like whenever you have those 'gifted school' roleplays and people always select these really overpowered, erm, powers. In reality it'd be fairly random, so I've always wanted to do a school RP with a list of 20-30 powers that people have to roll dice to randomly select from. What they get is what they're stuck with.

Cliche characters just always annoyed me, I guess. Like pyrokinetic characters almost always have short tempers. But if you think about it, shouldn't it be the opposite? If you run around everywhere yelling at people and burning their property down, you're very quickly going to wrack up a huge debt or else attract a lot of unwanted attention...

That's why I tried to make my character a little bit more realistic, a heightened awareness isn't all too great of a power, it's just that matched with genius it becomes somewhat of a great ability.

RIGHT?! It makes no sense!! Anyone that can spit fire should not be allowed to be hot headed!

Or how characters with invisibility are meek and quiet. If you CAN turn invisible you don't have to ACT invisible.

It's movies that do it, too.

Which reminds me. I watched the Avatar: The Last Airbender series recently (like, start to finish). And as much as I loved it because of the characters and the story and the brilliance...I couldn't help but sit and think "Man, this is the sort of thing you'd see in an RP full of 14 year olds" I think my boyfriend would have been more irritated at me because of how often I'd shout things out because what was happening was so idiotic if he hadn't already seen the series 1-2 times before. xd

Too true!! That's why I've always avoided elemental roleplays like the plague, they're generally poor written! XD

Well that and you always have one side that gets more than others (which is why I won't join any sort of war RP) but also its because of the type of people it attracts. Just like vampire/werewolf roleplays. I'm sure there's people out there who can play vampires & demons and the like VERY well...but they're so overwhelmed by those who play emo demons (funny that I just noticed demon has the word 'emo' in it...) and sparkly vamps that it's sickening to even TRY and find a good one.
