So there was some confusion about the Nav-Gear and its features so here I'm going to go ahead and explain what the Nav-Gear is actually.

The Nav-Gear is essentially a bracelet that attaches to your wrist. You can customize the look of it however you want as some of you have done by providing pictures of your Nav-Gear. The Nav-Gear works off a holographic display that everyone can see, so it best be careful having your inventory open in the public as players can peak at what you have. Knowing what is in a player's inventory I will explain in a later lesson the consequences.

When logging in you can do so from anywhere and when you log back out you will reappear in the place you logged in from.

Now the Nav-Gear has a certain feature set, of course you're welcome to make up your own custom applications but here I will list the standard operation features.

Apps that work both in-game and out-of game
Mail - Standard email application
Messenger - Standard instant messaging application
Character Sheet - Lists stats, skills and current equipment of player
Inventory - Players inventory
Web Browser - Standard internet browser
Friends list - List of all players whom you have exchanged player cards with
Calender - Standard calender with built in scheduler
Journal/Notepad - Standard notepad / journal


Apps that work in-game only
Track - Displays the location of a player. Only works for those who have exchanged friend cards with you.
Skillbook - All your learned skills
Masteries - All your craft/gathering skills and levels
Map - Map, you have to fill it out yourself unless you have an auto-map skill.
Challenge - Used to setup duels.
Mounts - Lists all mounts. Used to summon/interact.
Pets - Lists all pets. Used to summon/interact.
Timers - Used to set up timers for whatever purposes needed
Teleport - Teleports to teleport stone located in certain areas of the game. Consumes 1 teleport crystal.
Party - Used to set up a party, view a party etc.
Quests - Lists all active quests.
Raids - Here you can participate in raids of dungeons, setup raids here or join raids.
Craft - (Only available if you are around the given craft gear for your craft) Craft items, armor, weapons and food here.
Shop - If you run a shop and is present in your shop a list of options are here for administration and running your shop.
Log-Out - Log out of the game

Apps that work out-of game only

School Map - School Map which displays your current location
Class schedule - Shows your class schedule and lets you know when you have classes
Homework - Assignments, homework and so forth
Quiz - The weekly quiz is done online, access it via here
Log-In - Used to log into the game
Event Skills - Event skills that have out-of game skills are listed here.
