Time skips happen a lot i think we've had three of them already so this would be like the fourth one.
Its just to keep things moving, keep things fresh and have new interactions for new things
A lot of plot twists can happen during this time cause you never know what will happen in the first couple of posts.

I burnt my hand really bad at work ( TnT ) ... I work with food and Hot water split over it.
