There, he made a connection with them because deep down inside he was a wild, uncontrollable thing that just wanted to laugh, howl and have a great time. The Wild Things loved Max and made the wolf-boy their king, giving him a golden crown from a pile of bones. With his crown, scepter and the support of the Wild Things Max ruled over them for months.

This temporary peace was interrupted when a second human child came to the island. The Wild Things were confused but Max, Max was thrilled at this and accepted the human child as part of their kingdom. There, Max played with his human companion and the Wild Things and they lived in their great big wooden home and all was happy again.

Soon, more and more children ranging from six years of age to twenty-one came and the happier Max got. The Wild Things loved these children as well and soon there was a colony of them, a colony of Wild Things and human children, playing, laughing, howling and simply loving each other.

However, neither Max nor the Wild Things noticed that the longer children stayed there, the more they became monsters before soon they were a Wild Thing themselves.

Children all have an option though; they can go to the sea after they’ve had their fun and return home. Or stay with the Wild Things forever.

General.
As always, follow Gaia's TOS and the rules of this roleplay and everything will be sunshine and rainbows. Secondly, we reserve the right to change/add rules as we go. We also reserve the right to deny anyone access to this RP. Godmoding is a serious offense. No auto-hitting, auto-dodging, auto-killing, or any of that stuff--give people a chance to react. Romance, fighting, hate, all the stuff that makes for good roleplay is encouraged. Sex is healthy, yes, but should it be happening here in this particular roleplay? Not really. But if it -has- to happen, time skip. Only we have the right to enforce the rules. If you suspect someone of breaking them, come to one of us. Do not approach the rulebreaker.

Literacy.
This is lazy literate. Quality over Quantity. And we mean it. 300 words minimum. Give people something to respond to. Grammar is a must. Please, please, please, use proper grammar. Know the difference between there, they're, and their and then and than. Proper pronouns and such are heavily encouraged, as in, don't ******** it up.

Applying.
Please! Be original! Mary Sues and Gary Sues make us all cringe. That's not to say you can't play an abused character or a cold-hearted, dark character: you can--just explain things. Example of what not to do: people don't bully someone just because their mom died of cancer. Make it believable. You may double characters, but you must have one male and one female until you can start making more and so on and so forth. These can be either OC or canon. When you send us your profile, title your PM "I'll eat you up, I love you so.". Send Human Profiles to Chimera and Wild Things to W o n d e rr.

Reservations.
This is to give us an idea of your character and will be placed on the first page. We will offer a week long reservation to get profiles done. Reservations will only be continued if you show interest, such as posting in the OOC forum and hanging out with your fellow RPers. Also, if you're applying, take a moment to please glance at Character List and see what pictures have already been used. For Reservations please only send on to either Chimera Reverie or Miss W o n d e rr, not both of us at the same time. If one of us does not send a message to you, whether it is approval or denial, then please send it to the other.

Pet Peeves.
No, absolutely no ignoring characters or other people's posts. This has happened far too many times: there are RPs where half the people aren't given the time of day. This will not happen. And please read other people's posts. It's impossible to not respond to or even acknowledge a fist fight occuring between characters at the table next to you. Please avoid quoting--it makes the RP look icky.

Pictures.
Real. Yes, real, at least for the humans. But RPers use a lot of the same people: Sasha Pivovarova, Gemma Ward, Chris Evans, Chris Hemingworth, Emma Watson, Susan Coffey, Kerti Pahk, Arianna Grande, Elizabeth Gillies, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, Audrey Kitching, Candice Accola, Miranda Kerr, Miley ******** Cyrus, Vampire Diaries actors/actresses, Nick Kids, Miley ******** Cyrus, Disney kids period, Victoria's Secret models, Alex Evans, Alex Pettyfer, Logan Lerman... We don't want to see them. Any of them--including the ones we forgot. We want new, refreshing models. And don't even try sending a picture of a scene/punk/emo/goth person without checking with us first. We're only allowing one male and one female of the alternative persuasion and we're particular about who we're allowing. Not everyone in the world is a scene queen. For the Wild Things? You can use cartoon-y pictures. The monsters are campy; they've sprouted from childish minds: remember that. They can't be neko or whatever anime insists on pumping out. On the contrary, they must be mostly monster. Human faces = no. Oh, and don't get your feelings hurt if we say no.

Posting.
Please make your post pretty. And no glitter or annoying gifs--none of that bullshit. You don't have to go all out with the coding--simplicity is sometimes best. If we have to search the post for the actual roleplaying part or the coding takes up 80% of the post, there will be issues and we may ask you to cut back. Be wary though: make the pictures in your post a reasonable size. Page-stretching is a crime. And, of course, speech should be in quotations " ... " and thoughts should be in italics. All Out-Of-Character statements should be written in double parentheses: (( ... )) or [[ ... ]] or denoted as ooc, but preferably ooc should be in the OOC thread.

Activity.
If you've made it this far, give yourself a pat on the back! Please post once every three days. We understand things such as writer's block and real life troubles. If you do something as simple as PMing us, this time-limit will be waived. Don't not post simply because your character has been "frozen." If you've been missing and find yourself removed from the roleplay, try not to take it too personally. And don't be afraid of the OOC. Yes, it is important! Planning and plotting and just getting to know each other in general is just as important as the actual IC.
