There's a new section on the front page which has most of the updates.

But so far the DiSarrono family had either main weapons warehouse hit by one of the members of Syndicate
So in retaliation two of the DiSarrono members hit one of the Syndicate's clubs to send a message.

That's about it as far as action.

If you want further detail as to where everyone is at the moment, then I can also elaborate on that for you as well.

Being busy probably won't be a problem seeing as how we have quite a few inactive people so the RP won't jump far head on you. If at all...

People whereabouts may help and I've often involved in things more fantasy or supernatural related. Couldn't hurt to enter the dark and gritty crime world, haven't done it in years.

Other than that what is really needed right now for the rp? Understanding how these groups and their leaders work can help me gauge it and then decide on what to possibly bring in.

Well the Don(Dontella) is out to lunch/dinner with one of her good friends/bodyguard Mo. Bruce and Jacob are out on a mission looking to pick up a new arms dealer. Vlad just took care of the double crosser that led the Syndicate to hitting the weapons warehouse. John is back at home waiting to be called into work. Isabella is still at the DiSarrono hq waiting for a meeting that was suppose to happen between her, the don, and the would be consil, but I deleted him from the rp since he has been in active for over a month

On the Syndicate side...Samantha, one of the CEOs is just outside of the meeting that one of the security specialist(who has been removed for the same reason). Mya and Alphonz are entering the elevator taking them out of the meeting. Jayden is speaking with a new contact Skatha who will become a supplier/exporter of some sort.

That's basically it as far as I can remember, mostly do to be people inactive and such.

As far as what's need, anyone of power that will make things happen. I may have someone filling the last CEO position so just a head ups on that. Hmm, honestly it's hard to say just because things are in a strange state with the inactivity and everyone so spread out.

I had a plot idea in mind but that requires a time skip and for everyone to come back and participate, so yeah :/

With all this craziness I assume the both of these groups have a Consigliere/Adviser of some kind. My real specialty is playing assassins/hitman, though on occasion have forged legit businessmen with a mean streak. Sounds to me need to revamp the thread and then see who is still interested perhaps. Branching off to three factions might be favorable, though that is the opinion of someone from the outside.

Also informants, influential people like a corrupt police commissioner,etc.

I'm leaning towards a revamp every day, I guess I just hoped that everyone would come back once summer came around but of course with a revamp and starting over can bring in new people.

I've been forming some ideas.

Looking to add a few families rather than just the one Italian family.
Having it set in a real place for once.
Adding the FBI/Police force
Not sure if I'm going to give it a real plot or not since I can't seem to come up with any. Unless you can help me come of with something. Would be much appreciated.

It's basically going to be your standard mafia RP, fight for territory and such.

As far as informants and such, I would offer those role but I'm concerned that people would take up those spots rather than real key roles. Those roles are usually just NPCs people just move around anyways.

Could have 3-5 diverse groups, not all necessarily linked by nationality. A good movie gang wise is the Warriors, not the best example but it could be utilized as inspiration. One plot I envisioned was the United Stated made another metropolitan city, forged through one of the richest families/old money to establish it in hopes of acquiring more revenue as their money[true to real life] has dropped drastically.

Ignoring that could do away with everything, said history changed itself with organizations with criminals controlling most of the cities. Hell even without that could start with it based on key figures like say a Police Commissioner with a second life, foreigner more intrigued in present form of slavery via trafficking, some more aligned to hardcore drugs, etc. Just depends on the direction.


There always the option of say revamping a new system and keep this around for some comparison with the option of converting characters to the new one. Otherwise that is all I can offer for ideas for now.

I might take the idea of the different groups fighting over the control of the city, well maybe cities since I'm probably going to go with maybe 3 or 4 groups. The FBI/Police are trying to bring down these groups and try to bring justice back to the city.

I appreciate the help and input, always nice to have some ideas bounced off to get the old wheel turning again.

Might want each branched off with certain services/products exclusive to them to add some diversity between them. Might I propose going for the boroughs of New York City. Its large enough and each can be vying for control of the entire city in itself. Multiple cities might truly scatter people, possibly losing track of things.

One group could for more gung-ho for military armaments, gun laundering, etc. Another could be processed through a sex ring [while keeping it pg-13 without scenes] like prostitution, human trafficking, pornos,etc.Hell another could be associated with Casinos/Gambling as a whole. List goes on, though I doubt that is your plan. Simply panning out some ideas you may wish to tryout.

I really like that idea, but I'm afraid that everyone will join maybe one or two groups and leave the others empty.
New York is typical. I want to try something different.
Los Angeles will be fine I think.

The problem I have with mafia RPs is that people just want to go out and kill kill kill. I guess I just like to develop plots and some drama before blood is shed.
