Well, putting large was easier than saying he looks like the hulk on steroids. He was designed with being a tank character, and he matches it. Slow but powerful, and he is insanely big, the Mr. Olymipa big...

I used Tail, because Tail encompasses the different types. It could be pony or it could be a thick braided tail or something else.

Sure things do not flow correctly, but what was I supposed to say on that? His mom ignored him and he spent all of his time wandering the streets. Someone went and sent him off to the Garden.

Post natal and postpartum are both correct phrasings.

It basically said he is the son of nomads who entered Dollet because they needed better medical than they had, and left without them due to bad circumstances

Anyway, as for "what was I supposed to say on that" bit, you could always elaborate more. I'd like to know more about the second and third paragraph.

And for an adjective aside from 'large', you could... go for something that fits with him more? Simply saying 'muscular' could hint or let people insinuate that he has a large frame.

Oh and... Griever? His GF? Isn't that a bit of an overkill? It's been a while since I've played FF8 and my memories aren't really clear but I kinda remember Griever being like.... the ultimate GF or something? The one Ultimecia whips out to kick everyone's asses in the final battles.

I am [ Strong, though slow. Tough but weak at magic ]

Rapture: Ulric raises his beam saber into the sky with his head lowered. He makes a slash with it, before unleashing three others in rapid succession, using an effect similar to Kiros's limit break.

Ascension: Ulric upper-cuts his target, lifting them high into the air. He sheathes his sword with a click, before sending out three slashes and three stabs, forming a symbol. The symbol then busts into a dark flame and explodes outwards before condensing and imploding violently on the target. The result is the enemy being either unable to see, speak, is poisoned, or falls under the mini status.



I am [ Prideful ]

Ulric is loyal to few people, mainly those who are intelligent and quiet. He is often called Barbarian due to his incredible height and mass. While he brushes it off usually, some people can take it too far and it irritates him. He has a penchant for the older ways of the Samurai, from which his fighting style is from. The main detail for him, at least that most people see, is that if he trusts you enough to give you his sword, you have gained a follower for life. He has a dislike for ranged users, finding many of them to be cowards who could not handle an actual fight.


My looks are [ Savage ]

Ulric has long red hair he keeps tied in a thick braided tail with a red ribbon. He has bangs falling into his face. He is light skinned and his eyes glow a strange golden color. He likes to wear a strange single sleeved outfit consisting of brown pants with boots and metal half-greaves. He wears a black sleeveless shirt with a brown tunic over that, with one sleeve. It is held closed by two silver clasps. As a jacket he wears a white sleeveless cloak held shut by a fur lined belt.

When one describes him physically the first word that comes to mind is giant. He refuses to actually record his height, but it is over six feet easily. To match his height he is also very muscular. He looks like the Hulk took steroids. Generally his face is set in something akin to a frown, very somber and contemplative.

What can I say, My life has been [ Independent ]

Ulric is the son of Sea Gypsies, a nomadic tribe that spend their entire lives at sea, going from port to port. His mother came to Dollet because of pregnancy complications that could not be dealt with while on the ship. She was befallen by bad luck while in Dollet, missing her shipmates by mere moments as they tried to find her. Eventually she was unable to get back on the ship when it sailed away, the crew having thought she was going to stay there because she had not checked in with anyone. Such a thing had been known to happen before, and so the ship sailed on to leave her to give birth.

Ulric had a tense childbirth, in which both he and his mother were nearly lost. After a long and arduous process, Ulric was born. Even at such a young age, he looked exactly like his father, who had been lost at sea just after conception. His mother never got over the incident, and depression set in. She left Ulric by himself to pine away on the docks for a long while. It reached the point where days would pass by without her even seeing her son. Ulric spent all his time by himself playing without supervision.

Eventually someone took notice of this, and in a bout of pity sent him off with his own son to go to the Garden to try and become a SeeD. Because of lack of contact, Ulric never found out what happened to his mother. She had vanished off the face of the earth sometime after his fifth birthday. Ulric never paid it much time, having become an student of Garden. Life passed on for a decade as such, with Ulric fast becoming one of the strongest people of his age group. However, as one would expect from his large size and strength, he was much slower and less graceful than many others. It was only due to his strength and size that he remained near the middle.

Ulric chose a beam saber as his main weapon, and a secondary weapon consisting of a nodachi. He found books about ancient warriors called the Samurai, and tried to emulate them. He spent years of his life waking up before the sun rose, and going to bed long after it set, intent on being as good as he could be with the blade and the ways of Bushido. He secluded himself form his personal life, to the point he focused so much on training he forgot he was having his birthday last year. Since then he has slowly made an effort into some kind of social life, though not much.

@mad, I'll read it again, but from what maguro was talking to me about (maguro is a mod of this rp, so is boss here as well) I'll have to see and critic it. I also kinda agree bout griever now, I didn't give it much thought cause I was tired. But she divulged within squalls soul, his mind, and dug out the most fearsome creature he could think of. And there, it became the ultimate gf. See it is the ultimate gf, well technically eden is but whatever. Anyways. point being , maguro feels and I agree your character should have a connection then with squall or (in my opinion) ultimacia and we don't see how that is foreseeable.

Hmm.. A connection with Ultimecia... Cliche, but how about he is her son sent back in time due to the Time Compression?

Is it just me, or when you go back and look... Ultimecia does not seem that evil anymore. She seems misguided mainly. All she wanted was to stop persecution of the Sorceresses.

Well its not within my storyline, or within the game that she breeds. So I don't believe that to be a good option for this role play. Not saying it's not creative mind you. Plus, I already have a role, which I've been creating, which is kinda like her understudy, but fulfills her role, in a evil way. Eh I don't wana say much cause I wana save it for the role play, and the history. And I personally don't think she was misunderstood or misguided, but I can see where you can get that opinion/thought. But I dunno if I feel if that is a good idea. Not trying to make things difficult for ya, but I have go go with the census of everyone else, along with my self. And must have an agreement with my mod(s). I try to keep things comfortable and fair, I'm not much of a .. role play.. "dictator" if you will.
