she lives with them in rich area on the outskirts, until about 16

Mason is very like, uptight when you first meet her. She actually wont want to talk to you a lot unless youre persistent and keep interacting with her.
Once that's settled she becomes very sassy and makes little remarks -- out of love
...most of the time. and then when you're really good friends with her shes actually quite loud.
Like..kind of obnoxious.
But no one ever knows that because she's only close with like one person.
