Rafael: Archangel of Healing. Shorter, slimmer, long reddish-brown hair, dreamy grey eyes. Gets scared really easily, but he's the supersweetest guy you'll ever meet, and will go to Hell and back to help someone.

Lucifer: Lord of Hell, once Archangel of Light. Tall as his twin brother Michael, but more slender. Long, dark hair, golden, slitted eyes, tends to wear a lot of leather. A playful and perverted demon-prince who can do really weird things with his tongue.

Why is it that I find Howl on the front cover of the book (the one where he's holding the guitar, with Calicfer in the background) so much more attractive than the one in the movie? Is it because I prefer manly men to androgynous men, or just Europeans to Asians? Or both? Or is it because he looks like a beautiful fop rather than a porcelain doll?
