hm, well. the guardian would likely have to either already know the prince/red king or is/was just very devoted/loyal to one of them/both. Up to you, really, and any ideas you have would effect my character and probably the magicless too so we can discuss what sort of relationship they may have had if any : D S/he would probably, though, just be a normal person in regards to using the god crystals.
