tbh I never really understood the meaning of the status/title. Everyone that I asked gave a different answer. Something that's not crystal clear shouldn't be in.

All I know is that they are titles given to the most powerful mages/wizards And that they are capable of taking out a lot of people with little to no effort. And that the only way for someone to become a wizard saint is for the chairman of the magic council to give them said title.

yeah... that's what I thought but I also heard that it's just a title that doesn't mean much, others say it just means that you're an indirect agent of the council. Y'know... vague stuff xD

The way I understand Wizard Saints from the manga is that their title is based completely on strength that the Council has chosen to recognize. I've never really seen any of them as agents of the Council, since up to this point they haven't really been involved in anything the Council does.

But they ARE kinda just there.... doing whatever Wizard Saints do, I guess.
