x. I decided seven pages was enough, and started a new thread. :/
x. I left Gaia for a long time. I lost interest in roleplaying and pretty much the internet altogether as my life careened downward in a series of unfortunate events. As I got older, my life straightened itself out and I've regained my interest in roleplaying and writing stories in general. I've wandered the internet searching for decent, large roleplaying sites and I've found nothing. So here I am, back at Gaia.
x. I work as a sales rep, and my job is very shitty demanding and my work schedule is very sporadic, as is my sleep schedule.
x. That being said... I have a life. I can NOT be online 24/7 and I don't expect you to be. However, if I am unable to roleplay with you, or I find that the roleplay is unsatisfactory, I will tell you and we'll either work something out, or stop roleplaying. I will not wordlessly abandon you, and if I feel that you have wordlessly abandoned me, expect a polite PM from me.
x. I do not consider myself... "advanced." The last time I was on Gaia, that term was very rarely used, and now I'm seeing it everywhere. I generally try to type around four paragraphs per character as I like putting effort and thought into my posts. I do not try my damndest to match posts, but instead work with what you've given me and do my best to give you something to work with, and keep things interesting. Expect a story when roleplaying with me, with interesting characters and development. Sometimes, yes, this means large posts, but often times it means just the amount of paragraphs needed to get my point across.
x. I tend to be a bit fangirlish, and if this is off-putting, I apologize. I'm not some sterotypical, socially awkward fat girl that squeals about gay men and tapes posters of Edward Elric to my ceiling so he can stare at me while I sleep, but I do like Canon x OC pairings in fandoms more than I like Canon x Canon pairings. I feed my pleasure through the canon pairings I support through hentai fanart and fan-comics. I do NOT create OC's solely for the reason of pairing them with a canon character, and I spend a lot of time developing my characters' personalities.
x. I will double if it is preferred. Scratch that, I have a tendency to play more than one character in every roleplay I do (canon or original). I like to throw random characters into the story as it progresses, sometimes with warning and sometimes without. I feel that it keeps things interesting and hopefully you agree with me. I will play a canon for your oc, if you do the same thing for me. If you think you can ask me to play a canon for your character without returning the favor, you're probably going to get turned down.
x. It pisses me off when girls come to me with the whole, "I don't play males," crap. If you can't write for your opposite gender, then you're probably not a good writer. I like to play both males and females, but if I'm playing both, you should play both as well. The world does not revolve around two characters of the opposite sex, and neither should a roleplay.
x. I'm really not a b***h.
x. I can legally purchase porn and cigarettes in America. However, I cannot legally purchase alcohol. That's about as much information about my age as you'll get out of me. I live on the East Coast in America, just to give you an idea of my time zone.
x. If I use pictures for my roleplays, they will be anime/drawn pictures that I have stored on the many photobucket accounts I have. I always describe my characters in my roleplays, though, whether I have a picture for them or not. I do NOT enjoy typing up profiles for my characters, as I feel it gives too much about them away before the story even begins.
x. I like to chat with my partners in OOC, and I like to make plans for events in the roleplay with them.
x. I do yaoi, yuri and heterosexual roleplays. The only dominant characters I've ever been skilled at playing are creepy, villanous, rapist-ish characters, however. I will not do a roleplay based around raping your characters. Generally, the majority of my characters aren't completely dominant or submissive.
x. Don't mind my stupid avatar. It's been years since I've even signed onto this account and before I left the first time, I sold all my stuff so I'm forced to using lowly starter items. Your judgement of my skill should not be based on my stupid pixels.

x. Molest minors. (If there are to be any characters that are to have romantic relationships, I'd prefer they were at least 18. Any younger, and expect cutesy, platonic relations, full of cakes and little kisses.)
x. Do roleplays based around anthromorphic characters (nor will I play them), though that doesn't mean they aren't allowed in the roleplay. Gijinka characters, I don't mind so much.
x. Be the only person in the roleplay that is creating conflict and developing the plot. Work with me here, come on.
x. Do roleplays over instant messengers.
x. Spend hours trying to figure out the HTML and stuff needed to put icons and pictures in my posts. As much as I love pretty posts, my skill in creating them is lacking and I find them to be distracting. The colors and little stars in this post are about the extent of what you'll get out of me in terms of snazzy posts. If you want to spruce up your posts, go ahead, but it will not make you appear any more skilled as a writer.
x. Play a male just for your original character. That's not very fun for me, and if the roleplay isn't fun, I'm not going to continue doing it.
x. Do group roleplays.

x. Characterization and buildup as well as plot development. Interesting and exciting roleplays make me all giddy inside. I love it when I can think, "Oh man, what's going to happen next?" Unfortunately, I haven't had that pleasure in a long time, so if you can give me that, I'll probably be your partner forever.
x. Romance. From the cute stuff, to the love-hate relationships, to the dark, tragic, doomed-to-fail stuff. I don't care if our characters stay together forever and ever or if their relationship comes to a tragic end due to things like betrayal, regular breakups or death.
x. Blood and tears. Give me the grity, grimy, depressing stuff. Betrayal, violence, torment, anguish, drama and all that lovely stuff. Whatever makes the roleplay interesting, I'll probably love it.
x. Working on plots with people. I rarely have plots on hand, but I love to create them with people.
