for instance, I only have stuff written for two of the above. and one is loose-ended, so it really doesn't need anything beyond character profiles and ideas- which I have, but only half.

I have a lot of handwritten notes, but nothing online. so, like, motivate me to write. at least. like, if nothing else, get me to type s**t up.

did I mention that I've written a lot of stuff? if you ask me for fantasy info, you'll get at least three walls of text. well written stuff, I try to make it interesting, but there's a lot.

It's not bad at all. a little intimidating, and it'll scare off some semi-lit and lower rpers. but it's good writing, and it explains a lot. and it would let us set something up at any time or place.

where it does get a little harsh is when you ask for stuff I haven't typed up, because then I'll rant a little.

the ooc thread is such a nuisance. they should divide it up more. an Ooc thread; a group search; and a one on one search.

also, people should actually troll the forum instead of spamming it with threads.

Yeah, I have my own search thread, but I toll the gaia ooc, opening every 1x1 search I see, looking for like-minded people.

okay, seriously. I think I need a new site to rp on. Every other thread in includes "Yaoi" "yuri" "het" or "slash" in the title. is anyone offended/annoyed with this?

I mean, flat out, that's pretty much saying to the world "everything I want to roleplay involves cybering" doesn't it?

I'm not offended by it, but it's certainly annoying. Especially seeing "yaoi" and "yuri". That pretty much guarantees it's gonna be a 13 year old gal behind the computer screen who thinks anime is the best thing ever. Seeing "slash" tends to peeve me less, but I know what you mean. ):

I just want to sit down and do some sci-fi world building. Something with a good story behind it that can be kept going for as long as we want. But it's like pulling teeth to get anything that's not purely romance-driven around here. *laughs*

Anyway, i'll keep you company while I write up some intros.

this really nice guild of lit rpers is even helping me set it up as massive multi-thread adventure.

the is the plot hooks that are going to be explored. It hasn't actually started yet- there have been no in rp posts. It's all me setting up with back ground info and the officers helping me round out my ideas. so if you want in, you'd be among the first.

so, it's a space adventure with supernatural races. badass. Humans are the majority, but there is, like, a vampire kingdom on it's own little planet. a werewolf planet. a wizard planets. it's bomb.

so, there are a bunch of play styles. there's a war going on, you have like, colonies being invaded, massive space war, espionage and stuff. also, an ancient, long-dead civilization was discovered and their technology is being excavated. there's going to be an alien invasion.

most of it though will involve exploration and stuff. basically think Metroid Prime. you go to new, unexplored worlds, learn about them, find treasure/plots. you know. scifi stuff.

But from I can tell, it sounds solid. More than solid, actually. More like a huge ******** of amazement. I like the bits of everything you guys are trying to incorporate. I think I might just join that guild for a few moments to see all the details put into it. biggrin
