I've been known to partake in traffic generation.

Don't need a complex idea to create a good story.
Sometimes basic honesty and charm goes a long way.
And a setting like this gives plenty of room for the characters to grow. Even with a simple plot it can stand out depending on the character interactions. So hopefully there will be a fun cast.

But until then I shall be here to offer whatever I have to offer.

Will the intrepid group of heroes know each other from the start and the group will already be formed?

Mmm, no. The group of heroes will meet up upon all of them seeing the same flyer strewn about, either, throughout that heroes journey to Edo, or simply in Edo. The flyer will hold the necessary components for all of the heroes to meet up with humans who are worried about the forest and Japan itself. The hereos will then decide they are the only one's capable of vanquishing the evil, and respectably decline any human come along.

BUUUUT, if you have a better idea, lay it on me!!!

I live in the "mountains".
Recently got a emergency alert in my phone about floods around my area.
I would say we needed this storm since we were suffering a dry season in the summer.

Living in a tropical island does attract a lot rain,
especially around late August, September, October and sometimes November.
We call those month Huracaine and Storm season.
