This role play will take place in a fantasy/mid-evil like setting. That means no guns, no electronics, no music lyrics from our time, etc. However, things like electricity and books and such do exist. Also magic also exists and can be used for either good, evil, or both.
The whole role play takes place in the world Alderia. Still, most of the story will play out on the land of Valestica. Still there are many important things that you should know about the other lands and terms.
If you picture a map of Earth, North America and South America would be where Valestica is placed. Valestica is the size of North America and South America combined. Europe, The Middle East, and Asia is where Remaria is placed. Australia is where Svenaium would be located, and the size of the land would be Australia and Africa combined. Picture every other piece of land is non-existent.
Most places inside these lands take three days to get too. There are also the monsters and forests and such to go through so it may take more time. Don't worry though, time skips are allowed.
Also the pace and or time changes of the role play will be decided and discussed upon in the Out Of Character thread. Still sooner or later the days will change. As for right now in the role play it's currently late summer/early autumn.

Alderia: The world the lands of Remaria, Svenaium, and Valestica are located.
Valestica: The largest of the three kingdoms. This is also where the royal's are located in Valestica's capital, Creed. Among the land there are also many other towns. Mantener, Florecer, Hechizo, and Marino are the only other towns located in Valestica. Besides the towns there are also many landmarks. The Forest of Vermoeid, The Bloeien Pass, and The Wiegen Mountain Range. Currently Valestica is without a King or anyone in power, thus any laws needing to be passed go through the Kingdom's Cabinet. Any laws that need upholding go through the Imperial Army. Surrounding Valestica is The Great Ocean Lunima. Currently, Valestica is in a state of unrest.
XXXXXXCreed: The Capital of Valestica. Where the royal family is located, the Imperial Army hold is placed, and where the Kingdom's Cabinet meets to delegate. Creed is split into two sections, the section for Nobel Families, and the section for Peasants.
XXXXXXMantener: A hold for the Imperial Army and a place for trading. Mantener is located one day away from Creed. Currently Mantener is only open to the Creed side. Any travel to Florecer is forbidden as the hold is currently under attack by monsters. The only way to Florecer is through The Forest of Vermoeid.
XXXXXXFlorecer: Nicknamed 'The City of Blossoms'. Florecer is a two day trek from Mantener. Florecer is mostly noted for it's wonderful and exotic flowers. People from all across the lands come just to see the flowers. It is also a good place for trading. In late summer Florecer is attacked by monsters as their Barrier loses power. Florecer is currently looking for a way to heal the tree that morphed with the powerful Crystal that creates their barrier.
XXXXXXHechizo: Hechizo is mostly full of Mage's. Hechizo is a city based on magic for research and more. It is a very secluded place that is a three day walk from Florecer. Regular people are not allowed in Hechizo without a pass provided from within the city. The only people allowed in without a pass are the knights of the Imperial Army. Thus not much is known about Hechizo and many people avoid the town at all cost.
XXXXXXMarino: Marino is the port on the very edge of Valestica that ferry's boats to Remaria. However recently Marino has been ravaged by poverty and bad weather. Some suspect that Cabinet Member Raven Drake has somehow hired a Mage to cause the recent problems. Boats traveling to and from Marino are currently in port and are unable to travel.
XXXXXXThe Forest of Vermoeid: The Forest of Vermoeid is named for it's supposed curse. Supposedly you fall into a deep sleep, letting the monsters slowly drag away your body. Located a few miles from Mantener, The Forest of Vermoeid is a shortcut that leads to Florecer. However most do not dare travel through the forest on the account of many monsters and the supposed curse.
XXXXXXThe Bloeien Pass: The Bloeien Pass is located a three day trek east from Florecer. It is the only way to get to Marino. Usually the Barrier around The Bloeien Pass keeps out monsters. However recently the barrier was destroyed by some Dragon Rider. Thus lots of Imperial Knights have come to investigate. Without the right papers and permission the only way through the Bloeien Pass is through a recently discovered Monster Pass.
XXXXXXThe Wiegen Mountain Range: The Wiegen Mountain Range surrounds all of northern Valestica. The mountain range is completely impassable and has not been fully investigated. Parts of The Wiegen Mountain Range passes by Hechizo and the Mage's have uncovered ruins. However these ruins have yet to show any signs of importance.
Remaria: Remaria is the second largest land in Alderia. Located east of Valestica, Remaria is the most independent land. Very few people allow interaction from the Empire. Still the so called government of Remaria is very peaceful with Valestica. Remaria is mostly covered with mountains and forests. There are only three major towns in Remeria. Rainko, Minato, and Iseult. Remaria is run mostly by Guilds that support the whole land. Strangely enough the official leader of Remaria will only be seen if there is an extreme emergency.
XXXXXXRainko: Rainko is the port town of Remaria, taking in boats and sending boats to and from both Valestica and Svenaium. Rainko is also the capital city of Remaria, and where the mysterious leader and meetings regarding the land are made. Rainko is the largest town in Remaria great for trading, and entertainment. Many people from around Alderia come to Rainko to see the Coliseum where fighters around the world come to train and show off their skills.
XXXXXXMinato: Minato is the only town in Remaria that is completely run by the Empire. Despite the people's fight for Minato to cease production, things are going quite well. Minato is a three day trip from Rainko but is mostly avoided by everyone native to Remaria. Minato also serves as a hold for the Imperial Army and a jail for people that have gone against the Empire.
XXXXXXIseult: Iseult is the second largest town in Remaria and home to all the Guilds of the land. Iseult is another three day trip from Minato but worth it if you're looking for a Guild to join or make. There are four major leaders of Iseult all of whom are the leader of one of the four major Guilds. Iseult is the place to come for information, business, or a place to get away from the Empire.
Svenaium: Svenaium is the smallest of the three kingdoms of Alderia. Svenaium is mostly built of thick forests and surrounded by mountains. However there are no large ports or towns. Svenaium is mostly a place used for research on the many ruins that where uncovered there. The middle of Svenaium is one large desert, Galahad, that is almost impossible to cross. The only town of Svenaium is on the outskirts of Galahad, named Lavinia. Mostly ruin researchers come to Svenaium to research The Ruins of Leoven, and The Ancient City of Sian.
XXXXXXGalahad: A large desert located in the middle of Svenaium. Galahad is almost impossible to cross without the right provisions and knowledge of the area. In the middle of Galahad is a mysterious rock formation where the growls of a monster can be heard. The secret behind the monster lies within the legend of the Elegante.
XXXXXXLavinia: Lavinia is the only actual town in Svenaium. Located on the outskirts of the desert Galahad, Lavinia is built around an oasis. Lavinia is also the only place where you can get provisions and information about Galahad. Without Lavinia and the information from Lavinia no one would be able to cross Galahad. Currently Lavinia is being abused by the Imperial Army.
XXXXXXThe Ruins of Leoven: The Ruins of Leoven are located to the east of Lavinia and on the very edge of Svenaium. They are a three day trek from Lavinia. Not much has been uncovered about the ruins other than statues of large creatures. In truth the Ruins are a place where the Elegante and humans once delegated together.
XXXXXXThe Ancient City of Sian: To reach the city you must trek across Galahad and then travel another three days. The Ancient City of Sian are the ruins of an almost extinct race of people. The Sian were a very advanced civilization that were often affiliated with the Elegante. After The Great War the Sian disappeared and only a few of their race are found among the lands of Alderia. No one truly knows where the Sian have moved too.
Miscellaneous Terms: A group of terms that don't belong to any subgroup but are extremely important.
XXXXXXElegante: A group of extremely intelligent monsters. Elegante absorb Aether to avoid another creature like the Meido from appearing once again. There are few Elegante left in Alderia.
XXXXXXMeido: A huge and vicious monster that was sealed away many many years ago. The Meido is still alive but held behind a Barrier that covers the sky.
XXXXXXEther: A powerful substance of matter that when combined with a Crystal produces a powerful Barrier protecting towns and such from monster attacks. However when Ether is channeled through a Crystal, Aether is produced.
XXXXXXAether: A morphed substance of matter formed when Ether is channeled through a Crystal. Aether causes monsters to go through a major morphing session where they are transformed into larger more hostile monsters. If enough Aether is produced the monsters can morph once again into one large monster like the Meido.
XXXXXXCrystal: An ancient powerful substance that is used as a crystal to channel Ether. In truth a Crystal is what is formed when an Elegante is killed, forming what they call Empathia. Using the power of the Royal Family combined right with a Crystal a Spirt may be formed. This theory has yet to be tested.
XXXXXXEmpathia: What the Elegante call the Crystal formed by the death of an Elegante. Empathia combined with the power of the Royal Family can be used to form a Spirit.
XXXXXXSpirit: An all powerful being more knowledgeable than any Elegante. Each spirit has control over one thing more than others. For example an earth Spirit would have better control over things involving earth than any normal spirit.
XXXXXXBarrier: A magical form of protection that keeps out monsters and such of towns, passes, and more. Some barrier's even provide electricity and running water.
XXXXXXThe Great War: A war raged exactly ten years past involving the Elegante and humans. Barely any survivors were found on the battlefield. However The Great War hold more secrets than anyone could guess.
XXXXXXImperial Knight: A knight rising in the ranks of the Imperial Army that protects the Valestica Empire.
XXXXXXImperial Army: The army used to protect and defend all lands but mostly Valestica's Empire.
XXXXXXEmpire: The Royal Family and The Kingdom's Cabinet rule and thus are known as the Empire of Valestica.
XXXXXXThe Tower of Esperar: An ancient tower located deep under the sea. The Tower of Esperar can be raised with one royal family member held by five Empathia to raise their power. If raised and used for the wrong purposes the barrier holding the Meido.
XXXXXXThe Kingdom's Cabinet: The Kingdom's Cabinet is filled with people high in power to replace the King of the Empire until another can be found.
XXXXXXThe Great Ocean Lunima: The ocean surrounding each land and separating them. In the middle of the ocean underneath the sea is where the Tower of Esperar is found.
XXXXXXMonster Pass: A pass made by monsters to pass by a barrier and it's power. Monster passes are often very clean and narrow and can be used by anyone. However doing so is dangerous.
XXXXXXGuilds: A group of people joined together under the rule of Remaria. Guilds are based for one thing and one thing only. There is only one guild allowed for every action. Such as the Monster Hunting Guild, or the Blacksmith guild.
XXXXXXColiseum: A large area used to test warriors strength. The coliseum is a huge place for entertainment whether it be warriors fighting warriors, or warriors fighting monsters.
XXXXXXSian: An ancient race of people noted for their odd looks. Most of the people have large pointed ears and long feather like antenna's. The Sian disappeared off the land after the Great War. Many think the reason for this is because of their great relationship with the Elegante. Sian do still exist but their city is in hiding in the sky.
XXXXXXRoyal Family: A line of individuals with a special power to heal. This power combined with a Empathia can form a spirit.
