A lot has changed in the crazy city known as Ikebukuro. It's been a year since the Yellow Scarves vs. Dollars issue was finally resolved, and four new gangs, the Orange Ryders, the Green Envys, the Crimson Diablos, and the Black Bandits, have risen up to claim the town as their own. In addition to the new gangs, there's another group of people claiming to be members of The Dollars. It's unclear whether or not this group is actually related to the real Dollars in any way, but nonetheless they've made themselves known, and now they're just as involved in the gang war as everyone else. People have also started to disappear of the streets again, oddly enough, and that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are many other mysteries and secrets just waiting to be discovered within the city of Ikebukuro, but it's up to you to decide if you want to venture into the depths of the darker side of the city to seek them out or not. So I guess the big question is, how deep do you plan to delve into this city of secrets?

In the year 2012, a terrorist group stumbled upon a book that could open the gates of Hell. Feeling that they could use this to their advantage, the group tampered with the book’s magic and released a myriad of Daemons into the world. All Hell broke loose on Earth, and the world was thrown into a state of panic. The Daemons tore the Earth apart, killed everything in their path, and finally turned on the Humans who released them from the Underworld. Because of their ferocious power, no one could stop these rampant creatures and soon Daemons became the dominate race of Earth.

Year 20XX - Post-apocalyptic world: The Earth is bent out of shape, and Daemons rule the land; there is little left of the Human race. The Humans that have survived the onslaught of Daemons have no other choice but to work for the same creatures that tore their home apart or pay them for protection. Nearly every daemon species has set their feet onto the Earth, and even daemonic seals have implanted themselves on the Earth’s soil. That includes three infamous Daemon seals: the three Daemon weapons.

Enter Excessum: An assassination group that kills Daemons. They believe that the Earth should return to her former glory. They would do all they can to destroy the Daemon race and the gates of Hell, even if other Humans are in the way. Their current goal is to awaken the legendary three Daemon weapons from their seals so that they may aid them in their objective.
