I wanted to take an animations class, but there weren't enough people, so it got cancelled and I got shuffled off to Illustration.

My OCs? Teach me? Pfft...I don't belive that. XD
Plus, I still haven't read the original book so my knowledge on Wonderland only comes from AHS and the Cartoon Disney movie. XDDD
My uncle has it, but he won't gain access to it until July (maybe), because he's here. The books (plus Through the Looking Glass) are in CA. And he locked all of his books in his shed... /sigh...

There was an animations class?
Where I go to school, there's programing and 3D animations if you're in the Academy...Sadly, I'm not. XP
I'll just teach myself...that way there are no grades. XD Or I could find a friend that is experience in that...sadly, I don't know anyone who can animate...
zexion gender bend? kinda lost here

SQUEE!!! * runs off like a kid in a candy store* DEVIATIONS!!
*plops on floor* I singing in the cold! I'm singing in the cold!!
Lol, I have a DA as well, but I get too lazy to upload things...And I still haven't finished that chibi I showed you guys... >.>

Picking Up The Pieces

The ten-year anniversary of Xion’s disappearance had come and gone, and Roxas had found himself clinging to Axel. He’d moved here about a year ago, and as the blond spills the entire story of what was remembered, the red-head only listens. It’s after the boy’s finished spilling the horrible account that his friend gets up off the bed.

Roxas watches, silent, as the friend turns off his bedroom lights, then closes the shades. Quietly, he beckons his friend over, and the two sit beneath the window. All is silent, and Roxas is just about to ask a question when a sudden tapping above them catches their attention.

Roxas’ eyes go wide in horror. It’s got to be after dark, and they’re right by the woods. He wants to whimper as the insistent tapping continues, but Axel puts a hand over the boy’s mouth. They remain like this for another few minutes, before the tapping stops. Immediately, Axel gets up and, with a hushed whisper, he tells Roxas what they’re going to do.

“******** waiting here to graduate. That thing’s gonna finish what it started. Dad’s RV can fit us all. We’re leaving, tonight.” Axel whispers, peering out into the hall. When he’s sure that nothing’s looking through the windows, he beckons Roxas after and the two make a cautious break for it.

The RV is in the garage, thank goodness, so Roxas climbs in while Axel fetches the keys. The boy hides under the little couch, breathing as lightly as he can in his frightened state. He sends a text there, telling everyone to be ready to make a run for an RV when it shows up—they’re all leaving.

The garage door opens, and Axel floors it in reverse. As soon as he’s backed out of the garage and turned right, he takes off down the road in the RV, gritting his teeth. They have to hurry, because who knows where that thing is now. Axel can only drive on against the clock with his dad’s RV, pulling to a fast stop outside the first house—Roxas’ own.

Roxas opens the door wide, and is almost immediately tackled. He, at first, can’t make a sound before the one on him kicks the door shut, shouting at the driver to just go. They can’t wait here, can’t risk it, and Kairi’s not that far and she lives next to Naminé and the triplets.

The haunting sound of a too-deep child’s laugh follows them as Axel floors it again, taking off down the road. It’s the same as they pick up the triplets, Nami and Kai, but this time, they’re off for a house on the other side of town.

Luckily the streets are empty.

One last skid to a stop—thank whatever powers that be that Rai and the Crescents are neighbors. The door shuts one last time and the race for the edge of the thick wood begins.

Naminé sits on Fuu’s lap, held protectively. Sora, Riku and Kairi all huddle together by some cabinets as Pliku, Rai and Roxas all take up the rounded seat. Balthier sits by a window, gun in hand—just in case.

The fog is setting in, but they all know the roads by heart. The situation seems almost dire, and the laughter seems to be taunting them, closing in on them.

And then, suddenly, with a yell from Axel and a loud screeching of tires, everything goes black.

~*~

City life suits them, she can’t help but think as she watches the two boys chase each other in the yard. Black and white, as different as night and day. Still, she can’t help but gaze lovingly at them, for while they are not biologically hers, they are as close to children as she can get.

“Family. Ours.”

Two words, but they cause the blonde to sink back into the arms of the lavender-haired woman. She’s just getting comfortable when the gates are suddenly forced open and two red streaks dart into the yard.

“Reno! Give it baaaack!” comes the whine from the small, red-haired girl. The boy turns and sticks out his tongue, only to be stopped dead in his tracks as he backs into another red-head. Said tall man reaches down, taking a stuffed chipmunk doll before handing it to the girl.

“Reno, what did me, your mom and other dad tell you about picking on Gisele?” he asks with a warning tone. There’s a sheepish laugh from the boy before he takes off without answering. He tackles the other two boys—Nero and Weiss—as the tall red-head enters the yard with two shorter figures in tow. A blond young man and a young woman with short, black hair—a figure of the past.

As they wait for the stragglers to show up, they all remember that fateful night—the end of a nightmare. The horrible crash that had left them shaking, but they had all miraculously survived. And what’s better, when they awoke in the hospital nearby, in the next town, they found a face they’d never thought they’d see again.

A tearful reunion between brother and sister and long-time friends. Their hearts became so full that day, and they hiked from then onward to the city, sometimes hitching rides, but never, never sleeping outside. They didn’t trust the trees, especially after everything.

A squeak breaks their thoughts as Rai shouts a boisterous hello, and he’s followed by a child who races into the yard and gets tangled amidst the brawl already happening. A blond boy, who yelps happily as he’s dragged into the play-fight.

A whole gaggle of adults joins them, and a little girl lets go of her mother’s hand, racing to go talk with Gisele. Her tall mother, a dark-skinned woman with white hair, smiles before kissing her husband.

“Be careful not to be dragged into the boys’ fight, Kida.” Fran calls with a smile, moving to sit at the picnic table they all seem to be gathering at. Balthier swiftly joins her, a good head shorter than his wife—he blames his mother’s genetics.

Sora, Riku and Kairi are the last ones to be seated, making sure Cody isn’t left out of the children playing. But once they do, they all join hands—the whole group—and give a silent thanks to whatever had protected them from that monster, whatever had brought Xion back to them.

Because now, they’re all grown and happy and they have children of their own, adopted or otherwise. And they can all be together and watch those children grow into adults, without worries of slender men in black suits terrorizing them from the woods.
