I feel like good roleplays are hard to come by right now.
Probably because everyone is just starting school.
I was just recently into a super hero type thread....and thankfully an old roleplay buddy messaged me with a thread about just that.
It was fated to be lol.

Anyways, I'm reading through the IC and I noticed two things.
Inanis is your moderator? Are they back from their posting hiatus? Or are they just popping in to do the mod thing?
Also, I read your rules...and if you need someone to put a foot down for you, I'm always available.
You know I don't really have a lot of patience for tomfoolery lol.

It is nice to have people around willing to put their foot down.
But this go around I plan to relax myself and not fret over too much.
I will be straight to the point and not allow the tomfoolery to begin with.
I'm extremely motivated to keep this place alive.

I hated seeing you get so stressed about things in your last roleplay.

It's more so the owner and moderator to be honest.
I took the role as the leader of a group of baddies....because you and I both know how much I love playing a villain lol.

Anyways, I think they had a very specific idea in mind for the villain and Rae (my character) isn't it.
Rae was an activist before he gained his powers. He was against many social ideologies and the government that helped normalize them.
He fought for equality for people of all walks of life, though he was rather militant with those beliefs.
When he gained his power he used it to bring together other Zeds (super human people) to help him take down the government in order to rebuild it to be a more equal society.
The way his group has gone about it hasn't been very nice, and would straddle the line of terrorism...Though Rae has taken a firm no killing policy.
So...he is a political villain, a villain with a cause. Which makes him a bit more likable.
I think they wanted a nasty and cruel villain.
I mean, if they had said something about it when I submitted my profile I could have easily changed it and made him the villain they wanted. I can write cruel and ruthless villains no problem....but now I've already made several posts and it would be really awkward to change his personality and goals now.

Anyways, they haven't really been straightforward about it, but have made a few quips here and there.
(Mostly stuff like "Rae wasn't what we expected...we've had to make a few adjustments" )
Even going so far as to create a new role for the "Leader of the Zed"...which backfired in their face because the person who took the role took inspiration from Rae. xD

Er, well Nani is possibly joining.
I suppose I will have to put a reserve in now.
To many people I enjoy roleplaying with to turn down.
God, Lair does seem to be forever ago.

I had a question though.
I was looking at possibly taking one of the programmer spots.
Currently they cannot speak and use a computerized dictionary?
Would that be a text to speech type device, or something different?

Geez, they need to read profiles better.
Then they would have realized your muses' personality.
If a specific idea, was in mind, they should have written a preset personality trait, to work off of, for the villain slot.
That would make more sense.
Instead of reading a profile, allowing the muse, then complaining about how different their vision was from the reality of yours.
. . . idiots. . .ha ha ha sorry I am ranting.
Quite honestly, I enjoy all villains~
Be they avengers, vigilantes, dark knights, or just plain anarchy inspired.
All in all they are lovely.

Okay, Programmers have downloaded a communications program that the architect designed.
It speaks for them.
They are stuck with a voice that is not their own, but the program can recognize distinct patterns of speech and emotions.
So it doesn't sound choppy or TOO robotic. . .
The program gives them inflection, pitch, tone, etc.
The Architect is currently working on a solution to return their own voices to them, though.
